Bradin smiled at Ginny as they approached the Food Table. Wow there was a lot to choose from and some of it looked like it was from different countries. "Well...I never expected to see this much food, like ever" he said randomly.

Ginny smiled back at Bradin. "Neither did I but there is so much", she told Bradin.

Bradin took a plate and gave Ginny a plate. Hmmmm. What to have. He filledhis plate up with food. "Anyways, so are you having fun so far?" he asked hoping the answer would be a positive one.

"Thanks", said Ginny as she got the a plate from Bradin. "I having so much fun with you", Ginny told Bradin. "What about you?", she asked.

Tagren slapped Vindictus's hand, much like he had after every game of Quidditch. Win or lose. "Doing good! Really. I've got my own business now, The Sevens Menagerie." He grinned proudly, in spite of his current discouragement with negative profits and firecrab poo. "So- I see you're still here. Are the little midgets running you ragged yet?" Deftly Tag turned the question back on Vindictus, noting the winkedy-winks and having the distinct feeling that the older man was fishing for something more personal.

"Willow!," Tag exclaimed, as the couple approached. "Hello Captain, yourself!" Forget propriety. He seized Willow and crushed her in a giant bear-hug, still able to lift her up off the ground. "I heard you whipped those Claws into shape after I left! Good for you! I was worried they'd get lazy." He set her back down, beaming. "Have you seen anyone else from the old team here? I thought I caught a glimpse of Daphne."

Oh, right. The cradle-robber. "I'm Tagren Sevens, it's a pleasure," he said, offering his hand for a shake.

It didn't seem as if Maximus Vindictus nor Tagren Sevens knew that he had attended Hogwarts, albeit for a brief time only, he took the offered hand and smiled, "Nikolai Vannacutt."

He turned to the old quidditch legend, "I heard you came to teach here after I'd left, Vindictus," was he supposed to call the man professor? Did he care? "Didn't think I'd be running into you here though."

My toe is fine." Carter said. "I'm supposed to dance on my toes." he said continuing to flail about.

"Just try it! It's fun!" he told her. And plus, she thought it made it rain chocolate... which he still had to figure out how to trick her into seeming like it did.

Dylan nodded, "I will be there then. Cheering on Gryffindor. Cos my little sister will be playing." Yay for little sisters. He munched on more shrimp. Maybe he needed something more substantial as well. Oh well. The shrimp was good.

He chuckled, "I wasn't rejected. Yet. But at least we had someone to come with."

Lexi smiled. It was nice to be someone someone else cared about. It was lovely to have family. Reaching over she patted Dylan on the shoulder with her clean hand and said, "Thanks!"

*eyeroll* Well he knew he would be rejected IF he messed with Gold... so he shouldn't so yeah. "Yeah, at least we did have someone to come with. You're right. I cant believe I actually told Sabel I liked him... I'm such an idiot," she said with a grimace then shoved more chocolate in her mouth. She should really leave soon before she got a sugar rush and did something stupid.

Dylan watched her eat. She was funny. Such a contrast. He smiled, "At least you would have a supporter. I will make a banner and everything." Or try to. His drawing skills weren't fantastic.

"You aren't an idiot. He is the idiot." And Dylan would be having words.

Yeah, Carter could say his toe was fine all he wanted, but the way he was jumping around made him look in pain. A fool in pain, that's what he was. "Dance on your toes? Like ballet?" she asked raising an eyebrow. She had seen some ballet on the Muggle box and it looked nothing like what he was doing.

And he was definitely wearing the wrong clothing.

She shivered at the thought of Carter wearing pink leotards. What WAS she thinking in thinking about THAT!?

Trying to wipe the thought of Carter out of her head, she faced the fondue fountain. Well, if she was going to do this dance, she was going to need another cup of chocolate..but the Professor's were here now, and she didn't want to get caught sticking a CUP in the fountain. Grabbing a skewer, she placed a couple pieces of fruit at the end and drowned them. Mwahaha! Shoving them in her mouth quickly, she placed the skewer down and watched Carter a little longer.

The dance seemed easy. Lifting her left leg, she started to hop on her right foot.

Hop, hop, hop. FLAIL.

When was it going to rain CHOCOLATE!?

Nom nom here, nom nom there, Emiliano was still hungry. He was regretting the fact that he didn't eat back at his house when there was still time, but noo...he had to be in his little cabin doing music. Meh. But at least he didn't regret going back to his special place.

Sigh.

Was there anyone around to talk to? All the people he saw around were new students and a few professors, not his friends from the good ol' days. It was kinda sad, don't ya think?

Reese stopped at the food table, her eyes staring directly at the chocolate fondue fountain at the other end of the table. She had been hoping to find some chocolate frogs, even though this was a ball and they probably wouldn't serve that kind of stuff, but that chocolate fondue fountain... yeah, that was better than chocolate frogs. In her opinion, at least.

After staring at the fountain for who knows how long (hopefully she hadn't been drooling!), she finally started walking towards it. Choooooocolate. Yummy, delicious chocolate!

Just as she got a few feet from it, she spotted someone that made her stop.

Was that EMILIANO?! Yes, yes it was.

"You've gotten taller," she commented, looking up at him. Reese, she hasn't grown ever since she turned fifteen years old. It was sad. She was going to stay five foot, seven inches foreverrr!

"Welcome" replied Bradin. Then Ginny said she was having fun with him. Great! "I'm having a great time" he replied.

Looking up and down, checking what they were serving, Emiliano noticed this big pile of chocolate brownies. YUMMMY! His mother had totally taken that from the pantry from their house kitchen, something our boy didn't like so much since those were his medicine in case he was too melancholic. But meh, he was having a healthy diet anyways.

His eyesight turned to a voice calling her. He so recognized it the first word. "Reese" He called up and walked towards her. "I guess I did..." He chuckled and rushed to give her a hug, "...but you look amazing tonight..." Em whispered giving her a smile as they pulled out of the hug.

Reese giggled. "You did," she corrected him. "Either you've grown a few inches taller... or I've gotten shorter." EEEP. It better be that he has gotten taller! Even THINKING about shrinking in size made her want to go hide under a rock. She was surrounded by tall people; she did not want to shrink! When Em pulled her into a hug, she wrapped her arms around him. "Thanks," she replied. "You look look amazing as well. Or should I say handsome?" She smiled.

She glanced over at the fountain for a second once she was pulled out of the hug, and then she looked back at Em. "So what have you been up to?"

"That's good", said Ginny to Bradin. "I don't know where to start with the food", said Ginny laughing to Bradin.

Jade smiled and she took Jayden's hand as allowed him to lead the way toward the food table. "Oh yes, great minds do," she laughed. The two of them did always manage to share common thoughts and ideas. It was kind of strange at first, but after knowing each other for nearly two years it was only bound to happen.

"So drinks first and chocolate after?" she asked as she eyes the fountain again. It was so pretty and looked delicious!

"I think you've gotten shorter and prettier..." Em joked on the short part, though. Clearing up his throat from the last creppe he ate, he smiled wide and chuckled after he was called handsome? "Nah, just a bit grown, but not handsome..." He said looking at Reese as he took her hand.

Noticing Reese was looking at the chocolate fountain, Em grinned and pulled-walked Reese til they faced it. "While I talk about life, these two years of Manhattan at a university where I was punished every night with lots of assigments and a lot of I miss you guys moments, you can eat chocolate strawberries..." Reese hadn't changed at all, except that she was more beautiful, and already graduated. "You still drool over the chocolate..." He said, drawing closer to her and whispering.

Jimbo turned and looked at Leilani with doughnut all over his face. He grinned at her and swallowed, then grabbed a napkin to wipe his face. As he did so he poked her back.

He furrowed his eyebrows at her comment. Pft. "Uh, even if it IS weird, who cares? People should serve any types of good food at any type of event. Who cares if it's not related? Or, or FORMAL. It's GOOD."

At that, he picked up some chicken and stuck it on a plate. "You gonna have anything other than tacos, Miss Rhode?" Yeah, that's right. To make up for the apparent informal food, Jimbo himself was going to be formal.

"I'll agree with you on the prettier part, but the shorter..." Reese stopped and shook her head. There was NO way she was going to stand there and agree that she had gotten shorter, nope! "Whatever you say, Em." He was handsome, but not as handsome as her boyfriend.

She had no choice but to follow Em towards the fountain since he was holding her hand. Ohhh, that chocolate looked SO GOOD. "Why did you go to the States, Em? You could have just attended Wizarding University," she said. "That would have saved me from missing you." Nodding her head, she reached for one of the strawberries on the table. Chocolate covered strawberries, just what she was craving for! "I do," she replied. "I just have a weakness for chocolate."

Em couldn't help but laugh, though don't deny his joking comment. "Oh, I've heard women still have til they are about twenty to grow up a couple of inches..." He was feeling bad now, but it was turning fun to tease Reese. "How about you, Upstead? 'Cause you're still Upstead, right?" Great question, how about if she already got married. Em was absent for two years, lots of things could have happened.

"I entered that University because I want to study a Muggle profession and I need a good curriculum on the whole studying part. But I came back and now I'm going into Sheffield Uni, and I hope I get to see you often from now on." He said, smiling wide and hoping there was time to see friends from time to time.

Weakness from Chocolate. Em could notice that. "Next time I see you, you'll have mom's cocoa butter...you'll love it." He promised.

"Business owner! Well done, Tagren. I'll have to stop by one of these days when my oldest is ready to attend Hogwarts," Vindictus replied heartily and shook his head. "Not at all - they're just trying to keep up with me."

Then Willow joined them with her date. Well, Max assumed the man was her date because he'd seen them come in together.

"Nothing's changed, Willow. I've been keeping up with your career - is it true that you actually broke a bat after smashing a Bludger at the Chaser from the other team?" he asked.

Max held his hand out to Nik. "Pleasure to meet you, Nikolai." A slight pause. "You're Andrei's son, aren't you. He never mentioned that his son attended Hogwarts." Another pause. Maybe I should pick Kayleen's brain about her schoolmates. She did complain incessantly for two summers about a prat in Hufflepuff.

Yep. There was weird stuff going on, and Grayson had just the slightest suspicion that Professor Vindictus knew exactly what was going on. She knew the glass she'd handed the professor hadn't had her potion in it, at least. So sneaky things had to be going on. Which brought her back to her thoughts of possibly idolizing her head of house a bit. If she hadn't been completely distracted by Mr. Masterson's babbling.

But then Professor Vindictus had taken the glass back from the groundskeeper, and Grayson's wide eyes went back to him as he took a sip, hardly breathing as she waited to see what would happen. She started breathing again, though, as everything seemed normal with Vindictus. he wasn't babbling, at least. She wasn't sure if she wanted to actually drink from the refilled glass, but she took it with a nod as he'd held it out to her. "Of course," she said in response to his explanation. "You never know what people might do." Now that that was over, she was quickly getting back to normal. And wanting to go find Raven, or anyone, really, to talk about what had happened. She didn't even care anymore about watching to see if anyone else drank the potion-laced juice and started babbling. The way news traveled around Hogwarts, she'd hear about it anyway. She could go see what else she could do now. "Well, thank you, I guess," she said, as she watched the professor start getting into a conversation with other people. Who must be alumni, since they were obviously not students, and not other professors either. So she quietly slipped away, glass in hand. She'd figure out if it was safe after she'd gotten somewhere else.

Hugs, Eleanor didn’t mind hugs. To be honest, the Slytherin alumni couldn’t understand how some people –cough-willowkovac-cough- didn’t like hugs. They were warm, and fun and made you feel good. And then there were this people that like, totally knew how to give a good hug.. well, squeeze, like Clifford. As the older boy set her free, the blonde breathe out in relief ; although she was feeling a bit sad really. Whaat ? That had probably been the world’s shortest hug ! no.. ? well it had seemed like it.. humn .. moving on..

The blonde young lady observed the brunette in front of her, covering her mouth with her free hand, Eleanor snorted in amusement at Evangeline’s behaviour. And then.. she was interrupted.

“Shrimp?” Wait, er.. whaa? Eleanor stared at the male for a second, blinking. Her hazel eyes then subtly turned to Evangeline just in time to see her facial expression changing. “ Er.. no, not yet Clifford. I just got here so I’ve only tried the strawberry smoothies.” she replied, eyes moving back to the male, her lips breaking into a smile as she pointed to the huge pink glass on her right hand. “They are yummmmmyyyy, you can’t leave without trying them!” Food talk.. that was nice. hehe Gah, she had missed Clifford I-eat-gnomes-and-I-was-transformed-into-a-squirrel- Carden.

Eeeeyes back to Evangeline Green Apple. “Pretty ?! It is AMAZING and hugggee !” Eleanor spoke, grinning. It really, really was… otherwise Eleanor wouldn’t have wasted her time commenting it. “Can I see it ? In your hand of course ! ”
