"Well...." began Celestina and just couldn't find a retort. A proper one to be given in front of so many people anyways. Coughing, she rubbed one flushed cheek with the back of her hand. "He might as well be married now. She was a Gryffindor, his girlfriend that is. You don't know her though. Anyways, yeah, erm, he's got this Chocolate Pocket thing going on. I guess you can say he's turned himself into a businessman."
A family man soon to be too, if everything went okay. Marriage. Family. Celestina was feeling nauseous again.
"Wow did he really? That's good for him." Francesca snorted at the word marriage, though. That was one thing she couldn't possibly be bothered with. It was way too early in her life and she wasn't exactly the girl you'd want to bring home to your parents. "Why has practically everyone I knew at Hogwarts settled down now? I mean It's just so weird to me since I couldn't even possibly think about doing that right now. Even the idea of marriage and children makes me sick to my stomach, ya know?" She really needed the tea back in her hotel room. Or something interesting to happen here that didn't involve her being embarrassed. Something fun like someone falling into a table.

Kylie laughed a little and greeted Carter with a little wave. She'd been good friends with Carter but hadn't really seen much of him this year... She wasn't quite sure if hugging was a respectable greeting... Waves seemed safe.
Text Cut: Destiny's rant
Kylie was being silly again. What did it LOOK like Destiny was doing?
She was enjoying the CHOCOLATE that was set out..just for her.
If she had to sit there and hug the fountain so no one else would touch it, she would. "What's it to ya?" she asked Kylie, as she moved the skewer away from Evelyn and pointed it towards the Huffie. Destiny knew what was going on..they were going to STEAL her fountain! She moved the skewer back and forth between Kylie and Evelyn.
Conspiracy!
As Evelyn started to speak, Destiny once again pointed her skewer at her. Probably a little too close she supposed since her friend moved it out of her face. She turned to face the fountain and..
DOINK
The skewer was no longer in her hand and she was being pushed AWAY from the chocolate. "Wait! I have to get my cat." And a napkin since she was told she had chocolate on her face and hands. Breaking free of Evelyn, she rushed back to the table, and instead of picking up her cat she picked up a cup and shoved it into the fountain. Mwaha!
She quickly downed the chocolate in the cup and once again squashed the cup in her hands. Chuckling evilly that Evelyn didn't stop her, she picked up a napkin to clean herself off. Okay..she needed more than one napkin, but she did just DRINK two cups of chocolate FONDUE. Tossing the napkins and cup in the trash bin, she turned at the sound of Carter's voice, "LOOK CARTER!" she exclaimed, then in a whisper she added, "It's a chocolate FOUNTAIN!"
Where did her SKEWER go!?
Annnnddd Destiny went crazy. Great. Apparently chocolate made the girl go psycho. Fun. "Destiny!... Yes it is!" Kylie scream-whispered. She really didn't know what to say... Annndd... Cue Evelyn trying to escape.
"OHHHHHHH, NO!" She guided Evelyn back to herself, Destiny, and Carter, "If you're going anywhere..." She leaned over slightly and whispered, "You're taking me with you..."
This was a total madhouse.
And Destiny still needed a couple cleaning spells.

And now it was time to get something to drink. Diggy had told her he helped with the food and she rather thought he was talking about he had helped eat it. Tomasina giggled at the thought and headed off the dance floor toward the food.
Her eyes glinted off a familiar head of jet black hair. He was as dark as his sister was fair. It was a perfect contrast she had always thought. She fixed a smile on her face and walked over to him. "Fancy seeing you here," she smirked at Nico. And not with Kayla she wanted to add, but she told herself she wasn't going to pick at an old wound.
Nico filled Bucky's drink and turned around, only to see quite the familar face, though one he'd not seen for several years. A slow smile spread over his face and he glanced past Tommy only to see Bucky heading outside. Well he'd follow soon enough.
"Am I not welcome, Tommy?" He asked in a low tone, straightening up and ignoring the children wandering the place and generally making a racket.
"I'd tell you how gorgeous you look, but you've probably heard it enough times tonight that you're quite sick of it, so I'll just think it instead." Nicholai added.

"Um Carter, did Destiny bother telling you that chocolate makes her a bit crazy?" she asked him as she watched Destiny downing that chocolate lke there was no tomorrow. Seriously, how could someone drink chocolate like that? Just the thought of it made her want to... well you know.
"Maybe we better try getting her away from the fountain before someone wears the chocolate." She could just picture Destiny walking out in a brown dress instead of the white one she came in.
And then Evelyn tried to escape but Kylie brought her back. "Nice try Evelyn, I think you need to take her away from here and SOON." Yes, that seemed fair. Marie had been tied to her for half the term, so now it was Evelyns turn to deal with her.

Destiny chuckled evilly, once again, as Evelyn ACCUSED Carter of having the chocolate fountain idea. She did however blink a few times at what her friend had said after that. "What does chocolate do to meeee?" Besides give her a messy face. But she had cleaned that off already, right? She looked down at her dress and sighed in relief that there was no chocolate on it. Her dress was WHITE!
Picking up another skewer as Evelyn tried to leave and Kylie brought her back, she started poking the food that was on the table. Yeah, she was making herself a something kabob. She had no idea what half the food on the table was, but it mattered not. She was HUNGRY. Holding the kabob up to her face, she might have went a little cross eyed as she just staaaaared at it. It was missing something. She looked at the chocolate fountain then to the kabob then back to the fountain.
The something kabob was missing CHOCOLATE.
About to dip the skewer into the fountain, she was momentarily distracted by Marie and Carter. "MARIE! I am not crazy, thank you very much." she said, pointing the skewer at her this time.
"I'm not going anywhere..unless that is coming with me."
She moved the skewer and pointed it towards the fountain.

Carter waved to Kylie. How had they just arrived and he was already being blamed for something. "No. She did not bother telling me this." he said. She failed to mention that while they were hiding in a cabinet together eating animal crackers after making sneezes after attacking the chocolate fountain together. It was a busy day for the two of them.
"I cannot be blamed for this." he said simply.
He was about to continue when he heard a song playing that sounding familiar. Without realizing what he was doing he started hoping around in a circle on one foot with his arms straight out. The then clapped three times and starting hoping the other way on his other foot.
This was his song. His rain dance song.

She leaned over and whispered REALLY QUIET while everyone was distracted, "...Do we go there now?"

With her hand still in Evan's, Mina turned her head as she heard a familiar voice. Finding the source of it she blinked and shook her head. She was trying to fight the urge to start giggling at the sight of her best friend dancing like that, but she didn't want to bring any attention to herself or her date.
She really hadn't told anyone, well her best friends at least, that she was going to the ball with Evan. She didn't want any drama tonight, she just wanted to have a good time with someone and feel like a normal girl. A girl that had a date that found her mildly pretty and wanted to be around her, even if it was only in the friend kind of way at the moment.
Yes, she had decided a while ago that she wouldn't get her hopes up over something like this. It would only end back and she kept reminding herself they were just friends. She wasn't about to repeat history again. Shaking her head of the thoughts again, she raised her other hand to her face and covered her mouth to hide her giggle. It was too hard to resist giggling about it.
Turning back, she shook her head and looked back at Evan.

"Sorry Marie." she said apologetically as if she was actually going to stay and take Destiny off her and Carter's hands.
Speaking of Carter, Evelyn scowled at him. "I am so blaming you." she said, and that was that! No changing her mind. Her opinion that did change though was the idea of his sanity. What was he doing? Wiggling? Did he have to use the bathroom or something?
However, hearing the song that was playing, Evelyn smirked and grabbed Kylie's hand. Yea, she didn't mind contact when SHE was the one that did it. Dragging the Hufflepuff a few feet away from the group, Evelyn turned back to look at Marie and Carter. "Since it's Carter's fault, I nominate you two to take Destiny to the dance floor and make sure she dances off the sugar rush that will surely appear at any second."
Staring at the two of them for a moment, a smirk appeared on her face after a second. "Good luck." Hehe. "C'mon Kylie. You...should say hi to the others."

Throwing the something kabob on the table, of course she took notice of where it went so she could get it later, Destiny rushed over to the boy. "Don't DIE!" she exclaimed, grabbing him by the shoulders and started SHAKING him. Where was the Healer when you needed one?
Looking over her shoulder, while still shaking the life back into Carter, she noticed Kylie and Evelyn leaving. Okay, so she KNEW Evelyn didn't like Carter, but to leave him here to DIE!?
That was wrong.

Tomasina could hold her own against anyone. Heads of state, Ministers of Magic, her mother, but Nico always had the power to unnerve her. To make her feel inadequate. It made her squirm sometimes but she wasn't going to let that happen. She wasn't that 15 year old girl anymore. "Oh I would beg to differ. Pride is the one thing we Slytheirns have that has stood the test of time." It usually landed them in hot water half the time, but they were proudly wore that silver and green.
She shook her head at his statement. "No I never did." She looked at him seeing through the man to the boy she had....well she wasn't going to go there again. That had been a long time ago. She always liked to think she always made the right choices in her life and she hated having Nico as the biggest what-if. Especially since she didn't get to make the choice.
She smiled. "Its good to see you too Nico," and she was surprised that she actually meant it. "Well being VP of development sounds nice on a business card but its a lot of hard work," she shook her head. It was nice to spend more time in the factory than in her office though. "Ahh yes I suppose my big sister Egypt leaked that out in the Daily Prophet. Well we were supposed to have the line up before Quidditch season but something with the cloaking charm doesn't allow the ride to uncloak. We've lost several people." Not literally as in they died, but like they were lost somewhere. No one knew because they were invisible as it were. "But I hear your stock is rising." she countered back at him.

Shes stopped shaking Carter when he said he was fine. Well, he had to be fine and well alive if he was talking..unless he was one of those ghosts..the kind where there think they are alive but are really dead.
Her eyes went wide as she thought of this, and she slowly pointed her finger to poke him in the shoulder. Her finger didn't go through him, meaning he was ALIVE! "That was the stupidest dance I've ever seen." she said crossing her arms and gazing towards the fountain.
Why would anyone want to make it rain?
"Is there a dance to make it rain CHOCOLATE!?"
That she wouldn't mind seeing.

''Yeah not bad'' Josh repeated dropping the napkin back on table since he believed that he now had managed to get rid of the chocolate cake pieces that smirk still remaining on his face. Then he turned to Patroclus and looked down at his plate which was full.
Meh. The boy shrugged again as it was not a problem for him to have food all over... ... ... But, he remembered again, he was supposed to look handsome not like a walking food table. ''Okay okay just keep your food to yourself'' he said laughing ''I was kidding. I liked your work quite much. Everything looks wonderful. Good job and...'' he added looking at Patroclus ''...that depends on what punch you are talking about'' teehee
Patroclus laughed at Josh’s reply, “What sort of punch do you want it too be?” wink wink! He then turned to see where Evelyn had walked off to, and was surprised to see Destiny drinking chocolate straight from the fondue fountain, ‘Nice Approach,’ Patroclus thought to himself. As he returned his eyes back to Josh and the plate in front of him, in the corner of his eye he spied Carter and his Girlfriend arrive. “Well do you think now that we have had loads of cake, we should try something savour….or just stick to sweets all night?” Patroclus joked.

Glancing back at Kylie before rolling her eyes, she stopped for a moment and stared at the two Gryffindors. No. No she couldn't force Kylie onto Patroclus. For ones, she didn't know if he liked anybody and it would be somewhat wrong to do so, and two, well...she knew for a fact someone liked him. And they would be rather...upset...
"Umm, over here." she muttered quietly, not even glancing at the Hufflepuff as she continued her way to the two boys.

Carter thought for a moment. "Yeesss..." he said slowly. Technically that wasn't a lie. You could transfigure the rain to look like chocolate. And he was sure that Destiny wouldn't be able to tell the difference. The placebo effect worked on wizards, right?
"And it's not stupid." he told Destiny. "It's a tradition handed down through generations in their culture. It's just like you're using the same spells that wizards thousands of years did." he said.
Plus it was really fun to do.

Glancing back at Kylie before rolling her eyes, she stopped for a moment and stared at the two Gryffindors. No. No she couldn't force Kylie onto Patroclus. For ones, she didn't know if he liked anybody and it would be somewhat wrong to do so, and two, well...she knew for a fact someone liked him. And they would be rather...upset...
"Umm, over here." she muttered quietly, not even glancing at the Hufflepuff as she continued her way to the two boys.
Blech. Kylie wasn't quite enjoying being dragged around for this distance. "Can I walk now, PLEASE? And, you know, get a chance to see where we're going?" She was seriously curious. All she knew was it was away from the chocolate-crazed Destiny, jiggly-dancing Carter, and seriously-embarrassed Marie. It seemed so safe over there!
However scary...
The scary. Focus on the scary.
Kylie felt Evelyn start talking and tried to whip around. But was kind of stuck... kind of.
"Pleeaasse eat something else besides sweets tonight." she said, chuckling in defeat as she crossed her arms. "We already have one crazed person on a sugar rush, I doubt the Ball needs two more."
At least Destiny didn't follow. Hehe. She loved her friend. Evelyn really did. But just...not when she ate chocolate.
“But!” Patroclus played, putting on a childish baby voice, “I want more sweeties! Nar you are probably right,” He smiled at Evelyn, once again being blown away by how she looked. “What was Destiny doing anyway and Carter for that matter?” Patroclus, gazing past Evelyn for only the short second, saw what to him seemed to either be Destiny strangling Carter, or trying to kiss him…… what?!?

Feeling Kylie tug on her for some reason, Evelyn untangled her arm from the Hufflepuff and scooted her so she was standing next to her. There. No more touching or tugging. Stand still! Or...move. Whatever.
Looking back to Patroclus, Evelyn smiled at his tone, inwardly laughing before her smile faltered at his question. Uhhh... "Um.." Looking back to Destiny and Carter, Evelyn raised a brow before looking back over. "I don't know. Doesn't matter though right?"
Between Destiny drinking the out of the chocolate fountain and Carter looking as if he really had to go, Evelyn really didn't want to be connected with any of it. Ohh look! Strawberries!

There was a dance..to make CHOCOLATE rain from the SKY!?
Destiny's eyes went wide and she felt her head nod. She wanted to learn this dance so she can have ALL the chocolate she wanted. Well, if she takes the fondue fountain, which she WILL, she could have chocolate she wanted then too.
But being able to say 'I make chocolate rain' would just be so COOL!
She raised a hand to make him stop talking about the stupid dance he was doing earlier, "I don't care about that stupid dance anymore. I want YOU to teach ME how to make it rain chocolate."
And she meant like right now.
