Hurray! A break...of some sort. Melissa went up to the surface. Air. Oh how she missed that but it was cool having a bubble head charm on you. She nodded at Torin, yeah they worked great as a team. They could do this.
Right ideas, her mind was empty of them. "Well obvious we need a spell for the crates to open but there might be another way," she shrugged. Meh she didn't know.

Her bubble-head charm was still in place, so she waited for Carter to return. "On the count of three, then?" She asked, looking round at everyone, when she saw Carter had re-cast his Bubble-Head Charm. Hopefully, Xylon would be in here, too. "One -- " She paused, to give everyone sufficient time to raise their wands, and get ready. "Two --"
"Three!"
She raised her wand, and pointed it at the crate. Powerful, green rings shot out, curvvviiinggg to hit the object.
Carter dived back into the water just in time to hear Gold's plan. He nodded in agreement and when she reached three he shot another knockback jinx to the crate. He watched as everyone's green rings shot out toward the crate.

How in the name of Merlin was she EVER going to get anything done being stuck in a bubble with Destiny?
"Shut it Destiny!" She yelled when she said Marie had a big head. "If it wasn't for YOUR big MOUTH we wouldn't be in this stupid bubble!" Seriously, when would Destiny ever learn to keep her mouth shut?
Well it looked like maybe there was one good thing to come out of this. At least they already had the bubble around their heads and didn't have to worry about the charm wearing off when the dungbombs were released. Still not happy about her situation, she crossed her arms over her chest and just sat there... pouting. They better get this bubble off them by the end of class, she was NOT going to walk around the school in a bubble with her so called friend.
Great! Now there was a new challange and Marie was still stuck to Destiny. Sure, they needed the bubble to breath under water but there was NO way they would be able to work together under water in the shape they were in. They needed this bubble off their heads so they could each have their own.
Grabbing Destiny by the arm she pulled her up with her since now they couldn't even get a foot away from each other. "Come on Destiny, we need to get this thing off our heads." Still holding onto her big mouth friend, Marie and Destiny walked over to the professor. "Um Professor, how are we suppose to participate in this challange with this bubble on both of our heads?" She asked in a very irritated voice. Seriously, how was she suppose to help her house out if she couldn't get away from big mouth!

Yeah, this respect thing Lawson thought was going to happen... NOT going to happen anytime soon. Not when Marie kept getting into situations like this because of Destiny.
For a moment, Lexi just eyed Marie...and then Destiny, too. With all the arguing they'd been doing for the past...ohh, half of class...the professor had a good mind to just leave the bubble around their heads for a while. However..., she also needed both girls to learn the charm on their own and learn how to use it in...well, currently a tank full of water holding a large wooden crate that needed to opened.
With the disapproving look still on her face, she pointed her wand toward the bubble and said, "Finite." With a slight pop, both girl were now free to...well, sort...move about one their own. "You're...slightly free," she said, eying the rope, "to take on the challenge."

OOC: For clarification, any of you are more than free to roleplay the crate levitating (or moving about in some way, if you'd like). So as long as you don't roleplay it leaving the tank or opening, you're good.
The force of so many students casting at the same time was nearly too much for the wooden crate in the Ravenclaw tank. It shook for several seconds then floated a few feet off the bottom. A second later, though. It had floated right back down.

Surfacing, she removed the bubble from her face and looked at her housemates. She was sooo going swiming after this class. The young girl tried to think up a few ideas and remember what they had been doing before. "Cistem Aperio is a good spell, but does anyone know it?" Cause she sure didn't, and she figured none of the first years did either. "Or we could hit the chest with a spell all at once."

Cistem Aperio eh? Nope, Melissa had no idea what the spell was and she was sure that Simon didn't either. "I don't," she also nodded her head to Simon too it was highly unlikely that he knew it too. "We could do that, that is a good idea," she nodded.

Huh? Oh yeah she heard Professor Carlton speak to Simon. Right but that was okay, they could plan a bit and inform him when he came back.

Okay, good. They were getting ideas.
"Yes, hitting it is a good idea," he agreed with a nod, happy that they were all taking part in thinking of ideas.
"Maybe hitting it in the center or the lid might help. Different people could try different things. And I could try Cistem Aperio like Arya suggested. Would anyone else know that spell to help me?" He wasn't sure, but it was fair to ask.

Dani looked around at everyone. "I will try it with you Torin." she said to her brother. They could atleast try it.

Carter dived back into the water just in time to hear Gold's plan. He nodded in agreement and when she reached three he shot another knockback jinx to the crate. He watched as everyone's green rings shot out toward the crate.
Gold shot another powerful, knockback jinx at the crate, before lowering her wand. They could plan a bit, could they not?
"Should we try hitting the lid, or the tiny space between the lid, and the body of the crate?" She asked, looking round at everyone. "What do you guys think will be the weakest spot? We should all go for that."
Watching the green circles strike the crate, Xylon looked up when he heard Gold. Quite the planner wasn't she? "I vote for the point that separates the two," he said. The lid and the rest of the crate. "We don't want to damage the crate but we want to force it open so that sounds like the place we should all focus on."

Ivory raised her wand with the rest of her fellow Ravenclaws and held it steady as they all worked together to levitate the crate. Kicking her legs to keep herself steady underwater, Ivory watched as the crate floated a few feet only to then float down.
Swimming her way to the surface, she turned a wistful smile to her housemates as she cast Finite on herself. "Alright guys Mina's right, we should levitate it till it's just below the surface and then quickly fixate it. That way its doesn't float back down and it stays in the water in case what's in it needs water to survive or to keep on being what it is..." Since they really didn't know what it was she thought this might be their best bet.

He waited to see what they thought of that.
Even though they already tried this. Nymphy thought he'd indulge the late coming "take charge" guy. "We could try Finite Incantatem!" he said. "We've hit it with the Reductor Curse and even shot it with fire, but it remains unscathed. So obviously there is a protective charms of some sort." he finished, trying not to role his eyes as if they hadn't already tried amost everything suggsted.
Didn't they get the point? The Proffesor had set it up so that the only way to open it was to put EFFORT into getting it open. There was no special trick, no differnt angle. They just had to hit it straight on and put as much effort as they could into doing so.

Reason: adding a whole bunch of stuff/////////////////
Willow had been some what apprehensive about getting in the tank of water, but after seeing her house mates having fun trying to open the crate she decided to suck it up and dive in. She said "Viseo Ebullio" while making a counter clockwise motion with her wand around her head. The bubble covered her whole head and she jumped in the tank. She swam down toward the crate and thought of what spell she could use to try and open it.
She decided to use a spell she read in one of her books that was supposed to open chests or trunks. She just hoped it might work on the crate. She pointed her wand at the crate and said "Cistem Aperio!"
Colette watched as her fellow Gryffindors attempted to open the crate underwater. She didn't feel as though she could really contribute, so she stood somewhat near the tank and watched as the older students sent spells at the tank. It was rather interesting to watch though, she'd admit that for sure. But she was slightly afraid of water anyway, seeing as she had never learned to swim. So, she stood by the tank and rooted for the Gryffindors.

Xylon had a point, of course. Gold nodded in acknowledgement of what he had just said, and was about to open her mouth to speak, when she spotted a Gryffindor, outside the tank.
Rooting for them, apparently. RAWR.
"Hey!" She waved to the Gryffieeh. "I'm Gold. Do you think it would be better to hit the lid, or the point between the lid and the body of the crate?" She asked, cheerfully. Since, this way, the younger Gryffie could contribute, too. They would still all be working as a team.

Jacob watched the crate float back down. It was a good idea, but it just didn't last for too long. Fixating it might be the only way. Jacob followed Ivory to the surface, also casting finite. "But how would we go about fixating it... The impediment curse... maybe but I'm not really sure it would work in water. It could still float down to the bottom. Just because the object stops doesn't mean it looses mass, and won't sink back down" this was so difficult. He had no other ideas of how to fixate it. "We could always conjure ropes and have people outside holding it, but that might be a little dagerous"
Xylon had a point, of course. Gold nodded in acknowledgement of what he had just said, and was about to open her mouth to speak, when she spotted a Gryffindor, outside the tank.

"Hi Gold!" Colette grinned as one of the older students spoke to her. "I'm Cole." she told her with a nod. "Well, i think it would make more sense to hit the spot between the lid and the body of the crate if you're trying to pry it open, and not damage what's inside of it.." she trailed off uncertainly. It would make more sense... right? she thought to herself.

Christopher James ran a frustrated hand through his hair as he watched the crate sink. Listening as supply list girl swam to the top and suggested they fixate it when it was below the surface he nodded along with her words.
"That sounds like we should probably take turns casting Fixate on it every few minutes then. Like when we recast the Bubble Head Charm-Viseo Ebullio-" Seeing they both had already cast Finite on theirs he recast the charm so that they both each had round identical bubbles encompassing their heads. Just to be sure he recast on Maddie, Mina, and the little girl who'd just dived in and was attempting the box opening charm."We should take the time to cast on the crate too. That way those of you inside concentrate on opening it while those of us outside keep the crate near the surface."
To him it sounded logical. Staring at the other Ravenclaws he waited to see if they agreed.

When Lexi finally had the attention of Simon, Alex, and Nymphy, she simply too a few seconds to look from student to student to student before she said anything. For the most part, she was disappointed that disagreements of some sort had erupted when teamwork was needed the most. On the other hand, though, she was genuinely concerned about what was going and just wanted to help them get some sort of peace so they could all move on to what was important.
"What's going on? I'm circulating the room and for the most part, I hear signs of teamwork," she said. "Mr. de Simpson, what's this about someone making another person boss? ...and Miss Malfoy-Lupin, what's got you so upset?"

"Well...let's see. We've tried Recudtor Curses, Stinging Hexes, A Fire-Spout Charm, Relashio, Diffindo, a Gouging Charm, a Hurrling Hex, Alohamora, Finite Incantatem, Finite, and even an Obliteration charm and it just sits there, unharmed. Whatever we try, lets just him the darn thing! The point is not to find the right spells or figure someting out.....We just need to try! The purpose of this task is effort. The create will only open when have put enough effort into it......So lets go!" he said, reapplying his Bubble Head Charm and starting to dive back in......

Gold waved to Cole. "I think you're perfectly right," she chuckled. It looked like the majority agreed on hitting the point between the lid and the body of the crate. It made the most sense to Gold, too. But she still wanted to see if anyone else had anything to say. She wasn't running the show here, only trying to give everyone's efforts a direction.
"I think we should use Deprimo, once we've decided what point of the crate to hit," she offered, out loud. Since Deprimo could be used for a variety of purposes, one of which was loosening or detaching things. It all depended on what you intended the spell to do. "If we focus on loosening the lid, the spell can easily work wonders for us. We'll have to take care not to over-do it, though, or it can blast a hole right through the crate." But if they focused on loosening the lid, the spell would only create a wind or force to do that.
She looked round at everyone with a small, but warm, smile. She was glad to see all the Gryffindors around, pitching in.
"Slytherin Male prefect, Another girl insulted me by calling me lazy because I was staying behind to keep Selena Company. Then he came over and insulted me like she was in the right! Seriously it's unfair the way he blantly showed favortism towards her despite not knowing what she said first. Just cause she got set on fire doesn't excuse her behavior towards everyone." Alex firmly stated crossing her arms trying not to show just how much the prefect's words had hurt. She was eleven and he was what sixteen? Yeah how fair of him. Alex refused to look up.
