"Alright guys Mina's right, we should levitate it till it's just below the surface and then quickly fixate it. That way its doesn't float back down and it stays in the water in case what's in it needs water to survive or to keep on being what it is..." Since they really didn't know what it was she thought this might be their best bet.
Jacob watched the crate float back down. It was a good idea, but it just didn't last for too long. Fixating it might be the only way. Jacob followed Ivory to the surface, also casting finite.
"But how would we go about fixating it... The impediment curse... maybe but I'm not really sure it would work in water. It could still float down to the bottom. Just because the object stops doesn't mean it looses mass, and won't sink back down" this was so difficult. He had no other ideas of how to fixate it.
"We could always conjure ropes and have people outside holding it, but that might be a little dagerous"
