Ohhh. Normally, Evelyn would have laughed, but this time...she didn't. For some odd reason. Shrugging, she turned back to the tank, about ready to raise her wand to cast the charm on herself...
....When the Lufoy girl spoke. Turning back around, the Slytherin raised a brow at the first year, before a small smirk appeared. "She has a reason to be out here. You have no excuse. Unless being lazy is your excuse..." she muttered, before saying the spell. "Viseo Ebullio" she said with the wand movement before diving into the water.
Well, at least this wasn't as cold as the lake. "Reducto!" she said, pointing her wand at the crate. Not a so much powerful spell for her personally, but hopefully enough to help out the tiniest of bit would be good.
Selena muttered a "good luck," out to her but she had slipped into the water. She knew Flores didn't like her and was surprised that she hadn't laughed when she admitted she couldn't swim. Flores was that type of person to laugh at other people's weaknesses. Especially hers.
Carter smiled seeing the bow tie escape. They were doing great. "Histedius!" he said casting another knockback jinx. Maybe that would be able to shake it loose and then they could lift it up the rest of the way.
Xylon moved his wand in a counter-clockwise circle. "Viseo Ebullio." Once the charm was in place, the Gryffindor eyed the tank. DID he have to go in and wet his robes? Turned out, he didn't. Professor Carlton was giving them permission to help their housemates from outside.
He was going to give that a try. If it didn't help much then he would go in. But not before.
"You guys are doing great," he said, edging towards the tank. Hopefully the people inside could hear him. As he saw a younger Gryffindor (Carter or something, right?) send out a knockback jinx, he eyed Gold. "Try that spell too!" He said through the tank. It would be more effective if they were all trying the same spell right?

Mina nodded as she looked at the crate. Raising her wand again, she tried to hold it steady. "Shouldn't we try to fixate it first?" she asked. Wasn't that the game plan?
Keeping her wand pointed at the crate, she swam closer to the crate and got a closer look at it. Where had the tie come out from?
Well Simon was going to have a break even if Nymphy didn't want him too, he had been working really hard and all he had got from Nymphy was just keep trying, just keep casting a spell, well Simon couldn't cast many more spells at the minute. "Nymphy, can I asked who made you the boss of this challenge?" Simon was wondering. "I would have thought that it would be upto the prefects?" Simon then looked at Mel. "Are you coming back to the surface for a breather?" He wasn't going to listen to anything that Nymphy said, if he wanted to stop him then it was tough, it wasn't like Nymphy was incharge of Simon right?
Ever since the entire thing with the flooding of the school, he really wasn't a fan of water being... in classrooms. At least in large quantities. So he'd elected to stay slightly back, watching the others in his house as they went after the crate, his arms folded gently across his chest.
He didn't miss the little Slytherin having a spat with Evelyn though. Casting a glance at her as he stepped closer to where those in his house worked, he cleared his throat.
"You're awfully unpleasant sometimes, you know. There's no need to be so loud," he murmured, just loud enough for her to hear him. His eyes never left their housemates working in the water, however, and without another word he took another step closer and raised his own voice slightly so they'd be able to hear him. "Need any more help in there?"
Had to be a good prefect and all that, after all. Even if he preferred flying to swimming.

Huh? Mel looked slightly back and forth between Nymphy and Simon. What happened to them while they were down there? It wasn't her business anyway. "Er, sure," she replied, she would just let Simon go first, in case if anything happened while she went up...

Gold half-turned, clearly taken by surprise, when she heard a voice she was starting to become able to tolerate. In minor quantities. Xylon Saar. But, given that this was a challenge that called for house-spirit and sportspersonship, she didn't actually care that she did not always get along with him. It was time to throw away the differences.
For now, that is.
"Right," she said, turning her focus back on to the tank, for the moment. It was pretty heavy - either the material it was made of, or whatever was inside it, one of the two - so it wasn't floating about. Swimming towards it, Gold looked to Carter, and joined in his 'attack.' That is, she raised her wand with him, to send out a powerful knockback jinx.
Histedius.
Large, green circles erupted out of her wand, curvvviinngggg around anyone and anything in their way, to reach the crate ahead and hit it with a force that one could almost feel.

Alex ignored that prefect, being insulted and she couldn't even stand up for herself? Yeah she clearly saw the favortism that the prefect showed. She had half a mind to tell him precisely what she thought of what he just said, honestly he only heard what he wanted to hear, Flower called her lazy because she was keeping Selena company and now the Slytherin Male Prefect was insulting her! Alex refused to even glance at him. He wanted any respect from her- he would have to earn it after this.
Sophia saw her two co-Huffies who are, like arguing? over something. What happened in the tank? Anyways, she looked at all of her teammates. "Err, What can we help here from the outside?"

"Okay, guys. I need to take charge here now. We need to get that crate open!"

Simon wasn't sure if he wanted to stay down here or not. "Don't you think we should go to the surface and come up with a plan before we decided what to do next?" Simon smiled. "We will be able to hear better." Simon looked to see what Torin would say.

Carter looked around at the sound of a voice. It looked like more people had jumped in the tank. And someone had even complemented his attack. He nodded. Everyone doing the same thing would probably be much more effective. "Histedius!" he said sending out another. He then swam up to the surface to catch some more breath and re-cast his bubble-head charm.

Arya was beginning to wonder where her prefects were and who was running the whole thing seeing how she was completly lost. And then Torin spoke up, awesomeness! Turning to the prefect, she waited for some intructions.

Torin was about to speak when suddenly Simon said something. "Yes, let's all surface and come up with something. We're Hufflepuffs. We work great together as a team, and we can do this." Soon this would become a pep rally or something.

Well it looked like maybe there was one good thing to come out of this. At least they already had the bubble around their heads and didn't have to worry about the charm wearing off when the dungbombs were released. Still not happy about her situation, she crossed her arms over her chest and just sat there... pouting. They better get this bubble off them by the end of class, she was NOT going to walk around the school in a bubble with her so called friend.
Great! Now there was a new challange and Marie was still stuck to Destiny. Sure, they needed the bubble to breath under water but there was NO way they would be able to work together under water in the shape they were in. They needed this bubble off their heads so they could each have their own.
Grabbing Destiny by the arm she pulled her up with her since now they couldn't even get a foot away from each other. "Come on Destiny, we need to get this thing off our heads." Still holding onto her big mouth friend, Marie and Destiny walked over to the professor. "Um Professor, how are we suppose to participate in this challange with this bubble on both of our heads?" She asked in a very irritated voice. Seriously, how was she suppose to help her house out if she couldn't get away from big mouth!
Marie stood there still waiting for Professor Carlton to remove that blasted charm from her and Destiny so she would be able to go help her housemates. She was really starting to get annoyed that she couldn't do anything this term on her own. If it wasn't for Destiny's big mouth she would already be in that tank with the other Slytherins trying to open that crate. But noooooo, she had to be stuck here with BIG MOUTH yet once again.
Yeah, this respect thing Lawson thought was going to happen... NOT going to happen anytime soon. Not when Marie kept getting into situations like this because of Destiny.
Emma went over to Sel. "Hey need some help?" she asked.
Selena smiled at Emma. "Of course you can help, just cast impervius on yourself and the bubblehead charm and try to open the crate in there," Selena said simply as she pointed at the tank. "Of course, you don't have to, it's only if you want to," Selena added. Or had a valid excuse like her.

Well. This should be more effective. If everyone tried the same spell together, they were bound to get more powerful results. Gold half-turn, to look out the tank. "Xylon, jump in," she said, beckoning him inside. "We can all try the knockback jinx, together."
Her bubble-head charm was still in place, so she waited for Carter to return. "On the count of three, then?" She asked, looking round at everyone, when she saw Carter had re-cast his Bubble-Head Charm. Hopefully, Xylon would be in here, too. "One -- " She paused, to give everyone sufficient time to raise their wands, and get ready. "Two --"
"Three!"
She raised her wand, and pointed it at the crate. Powerful, green rings shot out, curvvviiinggg to hit the object.
Come inside? But he was doing a great job, right out here!! Xylon frowned, then decided he might need to get his robes drenched after all. With a shrug, he refreshened the bubble head charm that encircled his face and 'jumped in.'
Well not literally.
Kicking water out of the way to reach the crate, he was just in the nick of time. When Gold said a loud 'three' he raised his wand and executed out a perfect wand movement. "HISTEDIUS!"
The force of the spell actually threw him back.
