Simon looked at Professor Calton, she was a fair Professor and he knew that he could trust her. "Oh that." Simon said suddenly. "It's just that this second year here seems to have taken over the Hufflepuff's, he tells everyone what to do, he yelled at me earlier even though I was trying to figure out what spell I should do, he then decided to tell us to team up with other people and made us do spells that I had no clue how to do, so I didn't do it and then he thought I wasn't trying hard enough." Simon looked at the Professor. "I am only a little first year and so I don't know any advance spells, so I just thought I'd ask him made him boss." Simon hoped Lexi wouldn't be cross, he was closed to tears at the moment, because he had upset one of his favorate professor's.

Jacob watched the crate float back down. It was a good idea, but it just didn't last for too long. Fixating it might be the only way. Jacob followed Ivory to the surface, also casting finite. "But how would we go about fixating it... The impediment curse... maybe but I'm not really sure it would work in water. It could still float down to the bottom. Just because the object stops doesn't mean it looses mass, and won't sink back down" this was so difficult. He had no other ideas of how to fixate it. "We could always conjure ropes and have people outside holding it, but that might be a little dagerous"
Nodding along with the older Ravenclaw, Ivory realized they were in a predicament. How could they have it stay up...

"That's sounds good. Okay so we all levitate it near the surface then Fixate it. You guys can keep it fixated by casting on it every now and then and we'll cast....?"
At that moment she realized another Ravvie had dived in and was trying out a pretty good spell. "Hey that's a great idea why not we all cast that all at once?"
Smiling she looked from one face to another. "Sounds good?"

And earlier, even though I though I had cleared that up, when I 'yelled' at you, I was simply talking loud becasue I was under the water. I was not reprimanding or berating. I apologize for the mis-communication" he said, in somber tones. "Now if Professor Carlton will allow us, we can get back to work on that create.....Whata you say?"

It made the most sense to Gold, too. But she still wanted to see if anyone else had anything to say. She wasn't running the show here, only trying to give everyone's efforts a direction.
"I think we should use Deprimo, once we've decided what point of the crate to hit," she offered, out loud. Since Deprimo could be used for a variety of purposes, one of which was loosening or detaching things. It all depended on what you intended the spell to do. "If we focus on loosening the lid, the spell can easily work wonders for us. We'll have to take care not to over-do it, though, or it can blast a hole right through the crate." But if they focused on loosening the lid, the spell would only create a wind or force to do that.
She looked round at everyone with a small, but warm, smile. She was glad to see all the Gryffindors around, pitching in.
It looked like there were other people who thought the same as him. Surprise. Xylon gave the girl named Cole a polite, little nod before turning to listen to Gold.
"Deprimo sounds perfect," he agreed. It was starting to annoy him that the two of them were getting along. He and Gold just weren't meant to get along. But then again it's amazing what team spirit can do. "Of course we'll have to keep in mind that we only want the spell to pry away the lid or detach it, and not destroy the crate."
He could manage that. He had practice after all.

She turned back to her housemates. "I think while you two are casting that spell, the rest of us can cast alohomora or something on the chest all at once. The force should open the chest."

Miles was off in his own little world again, his fingers drumming along his thighs. His attention was caught as he noticed four tanks filled with water in the middle of the room and people in them. Hmm...SWIMMING! Awesome! A grin appeared on his face and he pulled out his wand. Climbing into the tank marked Ravenclaw, he waved his wand in a counter clockwise movement as he said, "Viseo Ebullio." diving into the take with his bubble head charm holding he grinned and swam around a bit before looking at the crate. A sturdy looking crate at that. He watched as his fellow Ravie's levitated the crate and now seemed to be debating on another spell. Swimming over to them he nodded. Sure all at once had to be better than one at a time and he pulled out his wand.
As he nods in agreement, JD realizes his bubblehead charm was fading. Kicking his feet he rises to the surface. Casting finite on himself, he immediately traces a counterclockwise circle and says "Viseo Ebullio".
Vashti paused, thinking along with the rest as they seemed to figuring out a way to get the crate to stay up near the surface. And then CJ and Ivory had come up with a good plan, so Vashti nodded her agreement. "Sound good," she said, readying her wand again. "On the count of three then?"
" Alright its a plan!"
Excited now she kicked her legs and dove back underwater until she was right beside the crate, wand pointed right at it.
Picking up the fingers of her left hand in time with her words in case they wouldn't be heard outside the tank she began counting.
"1......2.....3......Wingardium Leviosa..."
Concentrating with all her might along with her fellow Ravenclaws, Ivory watched the crate slowly make is way upwards it was a struggle but hopefully together they could get it to just below the surface where they could fixate it.

Cole smiled and felt a bit proud of herself. So, she couldn't swim, but hey, she could help the others who were swimming. Right? There was nothing wrong with that. She continued to watch as the other Gryffindors in the water discussed plans of action, and one of the boys, whom she didn't know, gave her a nod, and she returned it with a grin. And with that, she continued to cheer.

Hr raised his brow at the boy. Well, he's rather rude.. But he wasn't going to stop him if he wanted to do his own thing. They needed to work the best they could with the teammates that they actually had.

"One. Two. THREE!"
"Deprimo!"
She could have cast the spell non-verbally, of course, but Gold's non-verbal Deprimo wasn't half as powerful as the verbal one she could cast, yet. So she went along with verbal magic. Beating back water with her arms, as a powerful jet of wind swooshed out of the tip of her wand, to hit the point between the lid and the rest of the crate, Gold lowered her wand.
If this didn't work, she didn't know what could. But she was going to keep trying. AND, she was glad for Cole's presence. Because the young Gryffie was lifting Gold's spirits, by cheering all of them on -- and, in a way, that was just as important as being inside the tank.
Holding his wand firmly in hand, Christopher casted along with the other Ravenclaws at the count of three.
"Wingardium Leviosa....."
Through everyone's effort it seemed the spell was actually working, the crate was rising slowly, but still rising.
Seeing that it was near the surface and that they might soon lose their chance, CJ called out to his housemates.
"Alright guys Fixate on three before it comes back down..." Concentrating on his intent of the crate staying in place he counted aloud. "1...2...3, Fixate!"
Alrighty so it was a plan! Jacob cast the bubble head charm again and dove under. Jacob went on the command of the other ravvies. "Wingardium Leviosa" he said hoping, it would work. It had to work, cause that was their only plan, or they would have to do what everyone else was and just brutaly murder the box with so many random spells and no tactic. Thats not how Ravenclaw worked

Mina nodded. "Sounds perfect. We are surely bound to get somewhere if we do it all at once." she replied as she pointed her wand back at the crate. "On the count of three?"
Waiting until everyone was ready, she pulled her wand back and pointed it again. Focusing again on the box, she cast Wingardium Leviosa. Focusing on holding it there, she swam closer and extended her wand. "Maybe half of us should fixate it while the others hold it there, before we try Cistem Aperio?"

For a moment, Lexi just eyed Marie...and then Destiny, too. After taking a few deep breaths she tugged on the rope. "Come on Destiny, let's go see what we can do to help our house get that crate open." She better want to get in the water because Marie was going to get in that tank no matter what.
Once they finally made it to the tank Marie stood there waiting for someone to come up for air so she could see what they wanted her to do. She really felt like she had missed out on a lot since she had been stuck in a bubble with BIG MOUTH.

Listening as someone counted off to three he pointed his wand with a swish and flick and non-verbally cast the Wingarium Leviosa spell with the others.
He wasn't sure what they were actually supposed to do so he just followed their lead. Again keeping his wand on the crate he casted the Fixate charm non-verbally. Grinning as he saw the floating crate.

"Here's what we're going to do then," Lexi said, eying both boys and daring either to challenge her. "I'm docking five points from Hufflepuff house---BUT...if the two of you can demonstrate teamwork and get along for at least the remainder of the lesson, I'll award them back. No one is to blame for the docked points, so none of this finger-pointing and accusations. Go back to your tanks, work together, and just like that...the points will be given back to the house. You're free to go back..."

"I'll cast "Cistem Aperio!" from inside the tank" he said, submerging. What ever they did, they better do it fast. The Ravenclaws were already ahead. He rasied his wand and cast the spell, "Cistem Aperio!" he creid. The create boomed as if a person inside had just hit up on the roof of the create. he could tell it was the spell. They were getting close, an hour ago the spells had no effect and now they were starting to get somewhere. "Reducto!" he yelled. "Cistem Aperio!"........."Alohamora Maxima!". They were going to get that creat open and they were going to outstrip the Ravenclaws with shere hard-work and determination!!!

"Ok, thank you, Professor" he said, walking back to the tank with his house mate. "You here that...if we behave we get the points back. I hope you can understand and look past that little miscommunication and we can work together.....Lets get to it!" he said, smiling for his sake and the sake of the boy.

Xylon gave it all he had. Though he made sure his intentions were of detaching the lid and not blasting the poor crate. Thankfully it worked. Even though the powerful force of the spell threw him back through the water again, the wind that blew out of his wand did not damage the crate only powerfully hit the spot he had aimed at.
He grinned at Cole as he swam forward. First years were so adorable.

Mina nodded. "Sounds perfect. We are surely bound to get somewhere if we do it all at once." she replied as she pointed her wand back at the crate. "On the count of three?"
Waiting until everyone was ready, she pulled her wand back and pointed it again. Focusing again on the box, she cast Wingardium Leviosa. Focusing on holding it there, she swam closer and extended her wand. "Maybe half of us should fixate it while the others hold it there, before we try Cistem Aperio?"
Hearing everyone cast at once, made Ivory smile. They were working together and that was the key.
"It's working guys! It's working!" Ecstatic she watched as the crate rose and nodded along with Mina underwater as CJ directed the fixating outside.
" Great idea! On three then....one...two...three....CISTEM APERIO!"
Aiming right at the lid of the floating box, Ivory concentrated with all her might knowing she could count on her fellow Ravenclaws.
Alexandrie walked over to her house's tank ignoring the prefect. She glanced at her team mates..House mates she corrected, how could they be a team if they couldn't even get along? Alex quickly reverted her eyes to the floor or where no one from her house was looking at.
