Chris was excited too and Simon's excitement only added to the Head Boy's own. He scanned the ingrediants list and steps. It didn't seem too hard. When the Hufflepuff had calmed down a bit, Chris finally gave out the first instructions. "Ok well we need the ingrediants first. We can split those in half right here." he said showing Simont the parchment:
Chris pointed at the list and then spoke agian. "Ok Simon you go to the back of the classroom where Professor Carlton told us to go and recieve your part of the ingrediant list. ok?" he grinned. "I am going to go ahead and preheat the oven while we do that so it can be ready faster." he quickly read the first step and then turned the dial on the oven to 350 degrees. Then he turned away and headed to the back of the room for his half of the ingrdiants list.

Amy watched and took a mental note, she then picked up her own wand and copied the movement saying Windardium Leviosa and-IT WORKED! she squealed, in her excitment she knocked over the bowl and-oops, she said as it crashed to the floor, don't know how to repair it by any chance do you? She asked nervously

If Evelyn wanted a new spoon that bad, she could walk over to the sink and clean it. Or, she could ask the Professor for a new one. There had to be extras laying around this kitchen somewhere.

Destiny waited for Evelyn to pick out a recipe and was mildly surprised at her choice. Angel's Food Cupcake? Heh. Why not Devil's Food Cupcake? No, no. That wouldn't be a good idea. People might get the wrong impression of them. "Angel's Food it is then." she said with a nod.

Now that they had what kind they were going to make, they needed to collect all the ingredients. The ingredients which were in the back of the room, and they were in the front. Soooo farrrr awayyyyy!

"Hey, Evelyn? Since this is Charms class, and we are learning how to cook using magic, does that mean we can just summon our ingredients?"

Accio was a charm, after all.

Santi decided to forge on alone. Levitating all the objects onto the counters, he measured and poured the cocoa and hot water into a bowel using magic. Then using the combination they had just tired, he whisked. As it was magically whisking away, he measured and poured the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt into another bowl and began to mix that.

Placing a saucepan on low-medium heat he melted butter with sugar before pouring them into a third bowl which he allowed it to whisk away.

"Finite. Finite." He said while tapping the first two bowls and placing them on the counter. Baking was very finicky, you didn't want to whisk something to death, but just enough.

Ellie was brimming with excitement at the thought of baking cupcakes. She and her friend Mina had already discussed such things at the Ravenclaw celebration. She lifted her hands off her desk as the text book plopped down on it. She thumbed through the book, reaching page 317.

After a moment, she decided on the "Red Velvet Cupcakes" and read over the instructions. She wished the cupcakes were easier to make, maybe with a simple mixture or something. Now she had to measure out all the ingredients and do the cooking work, and do the charms. This would be difficult.

Simon looked at the older guy and smiled. "Okay." Simon was sure that was the safest thing, he'd probably mess up and put the oven to high, he hadn't cooked in his life all his servants had cooked for him and baked whatever his dad had told them, that was the problem with having a dad like his, he couldn't cook his own food.

Simon remember the stuff, he had a bit of difficulty remember it, but saying it in his head again and again made him remember everything that he had said, he got his ingredience and then went back to his desk where Chris was waiting. "Got them." He said carefully putting the stuff down on the table.

Teegan smiled at her, "It's nice to meet you Victoria." She told her. She turned back to her book and looked at the several recipes to chose from. She put the end of her teal pen in her mouth for a second, but pulled it out quickly spotting a couple she wouldn't mind making. "How about Angel Food Cupcakes?" she asked her pointing her pen at the title of the recipe.

She pulled her notebook out from under book and copied the recipe down from the book just in case she needed it later. She wrote:

"What do you think?" she asked reading the ingredients and instructions out loud as she wrote them in her notebook. She shut her book having all the information she needed and picked up her wand. They could split the ingredients in half and get everything they would need and make their own batches of cupcakes. Teegan smiled happy she was helping Victoria get the hang of things.

He nodded with a silly grin on his face. His head was still spinning but he didn't want to go to the hospital wing. "Well I didn't mean for that silly spoon to do that." he pointed out to her. He shook his head he really didn't want to go. "No I don't want to go," he told her firmly. He walked over to her station with her helping him stand. "Sure because I can't cook." he giggled. Not even with magic.

He smiled and waved at the girl that liked his apron. He was alright. He might go back to his room and go to sleep forever with his chocolate under his pillow after this. He was going to need a major headache potion after this class that was for sure.

"Umm..." Delilah searched her brain. She pointed her wand at the bowl. "Reparo." The bowl put itself back together. "Wow. I did it..." Delilah said smiling.

Alexandrie chanted, "Finite" causing the bowl and spoon to stop spinning and drop to the desk and she turned to the page the teacher asked for. There were a lot of choices she thought dazzed, Chocolate, Devil's food, carrot cake, red velvet, ect. She finally decided a simple Chocolate Cupcake recipe.

She quickly began to gather the ingredients. She mostly grew up around House Elves and with nothing better to do beside read they taught her some basic ways to cook. She set the eggs and milk aside for the moment. She perfered being alone when cooking easier to work. She quickly preheated the oven to 350 degrees She then preceded to line the cupcake pans with what she had to. She measured out all the nessary ingredients. Now she thought came the hard part..Actually mixing them together and cooking.

"And what makes you think I can?" Selena smirked. "Which recipe do you wanna do? I found one on a chocolate cheesecake cupcake, and it sounds great," Selena grinned. She hoped she didn't explode the whole place. She wasn't exactly graceful and poised. She was quite clumsy.

Chris had grabbed all of the ingrediants from his part of the list and returned back to the cooking area safely and set his things down. He put them with Simon's, who had beat him back, and then turned back to the recipe. Ok they needed to put paper lines in the pan so that they could hold the cupcakes while eating them. He found a bag of multicolored cupcake liners and handed a half of it to Simon. "Ok Simon you fill in half of the hole with those and I will do my side." the Head Boy then began to fill each of his cupcake pan holes with Red and Gold liners. Yay for House Spirit!

Ok and now for the bowls and the magic they had learned. Reading out loud the next step Chris spoke. "Ok we need to combine all of our ingrediants into this bowl." he said pointing to the large mixing bowl Professor Carlton had given them earlier. He put all of his ingrediants in making, sure they all got in the bowl. Then he waited for Simon to do his. Afterwards they were going to have to levitate, hover, and then stir the bowl.

Taking her book, she fliped to the page covered with pictures of cupcakes and pondered which ones she wanted to eat bake. Wait....they had to be in groups? Looking up from her book she glanced at the professor before turning her gaze to her classmates. Hmm, who to work with...

"Anyone wanna be partners?" She didn't need a partner, but it would make the class even more fun than it already was. Right? Right.

Victoria smiled and nodded. "That sounds fine to me." Then, she wrote down the ingredients and directions.

After she got done writing them, she looked back at Teegan. "So...where should we start at first?"

Alex realised she didn't know if they were allowed to bake yet as she started a fire to melt the chocolate. She raised her hand stirring the chocolate with a small circle motion with her wand saying firmly, "Locomotor Spoon." then adding, "Professor what if we've prepared all our ingredients? Are we allowed to preceed with baking then?" She kept an ear out in case the Professor answered keeping a firm eye on the chocolate slowly melting.

woww, Amy murmered, taking another note in her mental . Hey, do you want to be partners? Amy asked looking at the cook book infront of her

Santi slid over to the the girl who had asked for a partner, "Hey Arya! How've you been? You can join me if you like, but I've already started." Santi smiled, it was nice to see a friendly face.

Simon smiled as Chris came back, he was glad that he had someone so brainy as a partner, he just wanted to shout with joy but knew he'd better not, Simon took the cupcake liners and fulled his half up with the yellow and gold one that Chris had given him, he hoped Chris looked how he had placed them.

Simon watched as Christ put his ingrediants in the bowl and then he put the amout that he was suppost to from his ingredience, he looked at the three large egg things, he pick three up and looked at Chris.

"So I just chuck these in then?" He hadn't cooked anything before so he didn't realise you were suppost to take the egg out of there shells, he just wanted to make sure since he didn't want to spoil his and his new friends fun.

Destiny had a really good point actually. Why did they need to walk all the way over to the back of the room to get ingredients when they could just summon them? It wasn't that dangerous either. It wasn't like a bag of flour was going to kill somebody if they got hit with it.

"You know what..." she started, moving the book to the middle of the table so they both could see it. "You are definitely right. I think so." Ha! So now they barely even have to move to really cook anything!

This, was turning out to be one lazy class. She almost forgot how magic could be fun without ruining someone else's life with it. Or torturing them by hanging them upside down or something.

"Okay. So we need flour, eggs, cream of tarter...whatever that is, vanilla, salt and sugar." Destiny got all of that? If not, the book was totally right there. Woot!

Delilah smiled. "Sure! Which recipe do you wanna do?"

Umm, don't mind, you pick! Amy smiled widely, pleased she would have someone to help her if it all went terribly wrong and she set the castle alight

Alex waited for the Professor's reply patiently as she finally got to move to the rest of the recipe. She swished and flicked at the bowl adding the ingredients first, "Wingardium Leviosa." causing the bowl to raise a foot before tapping her wand against it saying, "Fixeat." causing the spoon to stay still and then moved her wand slowly for thirty seconds saying, "Locomotor Spoon." she then used her wand in a way someone would try to scrape gum off their shoe before saying, "Loctomotor Spoon again." scraping down the sides of her bowl finally after that she moved her wand in faster circle chanting again, "Locomotor Spoon." The mixture was coming along she realised. And she'll probably need to bake it soon. Just 2 and a half minutes more then pouring them into the pans for it.

Chris watched as everything was going right and on schedule when Simon asked a question so crazy, so hilarious, and so strange that Chris was unable to hold his laughter in. "Oh my goss Simon, you don't cook much do you?" he laughed taking one of the large eggs in his hand. "No you do NOT just put them in like this." he continued to chuckle. "We have to crack them and then pull them apart over the bowl to let the insides come out. We dont; want any of the shell so be careful." the Gryffindor said cracking the egg carefully on ths side of the bowl and letting the inside part of the egg fall into the collectin mass of ingrediants in the bowl. A tiny piece of shell went in as well, but Chris removed it with a fork. "See and if you mess up a little it's no big deal really." he nodded.

Delilah flipped through the cookbook. She began to laugh when she read the page. "How about Coca-Cola cupcakes?"

Arya turned to face the familiar voice with a grin. "Hey Santi, I'm great. How are you?" She nodded her head at his proposal. Even if he had already started, he couldn't have gotten too far along. "But I've gotta warn you, I'm no good in the kitchen....atleast when it come to cooking."
