Surprisingly, she hadn't jumped or even twitched when she heard someone speak her name right next to her. She was however, having a panic attack inside her mind at the moment.

Turning her head just the slightest to at least see Josh, a small smile played on her lips before she leaned slightly over to whisper quietly back to him. "I think she'd notice if I didn't drink it." she said before sitting back up straight and looking forward once more. Although, she didn't want Josh to leave just yet. Taking a quick glance at him, she patted the seat next to her that was now free since the Ravie kid left to sit in the front.

Hmm, sit here next to her? Yes? Maybe?...

When the girl smiled at him, a smirk appeared on the boy's face. She was too cute and pretty so Josh did not think that she'd be ugly even when she was fat yet if she did not want to be fat the Gryffindor was going to try his best to help her ''You think she'd notice?'' he repeated ''In a class full of fat people? You can hide behind me, i doubt that she'd be able to see you when eveyone is huge'' and after completing his whisperin sentence he sat beside her where she patted.

How had he not noticed his fire-red haired bestie come into the room? He had been too preoccupied with the fatty potion, slytherins, and the Professor Witch with a taste for students. One thing was certain- he was glad she was here now, and close enough to him to elbow him in the ribs (yeouch!).

His heart was pounding so loudly he could hear it in his ears, but he knew he had to act. Eli took the hand holding his tiny scrap of a note and placed it on his lap. Waiting until the professor was talking to another student, he passed it to Ellie under the desk, where the professor could not see. He mouthed the word Prefects at her and gave a LOOK to the Slytherin and Gryffindor prefects and Anni so Ellie would know who he meant, then met Ellie's eyes to make sure she understood.

Ellie would help him get the note to the prefects so they would realize the crazy professor's reason for a fattening potion and stop her. They would all be saved.

Eli was terrified. He had never passed a note in class before. Especially not when the professor was as scary as LaFlame.

Anni looked down as a small piece of paper landed in her lap. She read it quickly, stifling a giggle. Although, it was an interesting idea. Eli certainly had an imagination!
'Proffessor, why are we actually talking this potion? I know people explained it's uses, but none of them are really necessary in this particular situation..'

Amy nodded, the ravenclaw girl was right, but, this was potions, surely it was just another potion they had to learn. She listened to the potions mistress question, well anything could make you fat, if you eat to much and don't work it off, but I guess, fatty foods, and lots of sugars would have the fastest effect she said, after putting up her hand

"Chocolate is good. We might add it for flavor later." She said nodding to the girl. "But it isn't an active ingredient."

"Yes, Very good Miss Telerino. Puffer fish eyes is an ingredient. Next time raise your hand." She said bitterly.

"It's present." She said not going into detail.

"It is also present," she nodded.

Hecate looked over at the prefect and smiled. "I didn't say you were wrong, Master Kururugi, you are indeed correct, but I'm the one that's supposed to tell the students if their answer is incorrect. And I frankly do not care if you approve or not. This is my classroom, and I will teach what I see fit. I believe your question has been answered. The main reason for this potion is to help patients survive procedures when their bodies aren't large enough to withstand the pressures the healers put on them. It is a safe, temporary way for the patients to gain weight. In the muggle world when a patient needs to gain the weight, the 'doctors' need to delay the procedure, or surgery, so they can eat and gain it the natural way. This isn't ideal." She listened to his and answer and said. "Actually Moke skin is an ingredient in the antidote, but that was good educated guess." She said and nodded.

... This kid was already taking notes. Good bloke.

"Yes, but too much sodium will raise your blood pressure and it would not help in cases of surgery." She said and added. "Sugar is present, but to combat the high blood sugar effects there is another ingredient."

"Butter is present, indeed, and fluxweed is an ingredient. Very good Miss Laksh." She said.

"Yes, I understand. As for animal fat, it's present, but it isn't pork lard." She smiled.

"A starch is present Miss Flores, very good." She said.

"It's present, but it's isn't suet..." She said and moved to the next student.

"For taste, yes. At the end." She repeated.

She smiled. "No one here will be ingesting Erumpent horn fluid... Not only would I be fired, I'd be locked up in Azkaban for life for blowing up my students." She said. "It's a highly dangerous substance. What the potion does is target the fat cells in the body and feeds them allowing them to grow quickly."

"You are taking this potion to make sure it works." She said answering the question.

"Yes, you are right." she said nodding to the girl.

"Think Magical ingredients everyone." She said.

Savannah ran to the classroom. Panting hard. "Am I late?" she said looking at all the other kids in class. She has no idea what's going on. It's probably her habit now that she's late for class.

Evelyn couldn't help but chuckle at what he said. However, she clamped her hand over her mouth as she turned her head back to look at the Professor. Laughing would not be good in this class. Especially if she didn't want to end up sitting in the front...

Well, at least they were going to be doing something to help with the flavor of the potion. Though, why it had to be chocolate, the Slytherin didn't know. Couldn't she just use some strawberry flavoring or something? Why chocolate!!?? And strawberries were healthier...

But, back to the ingredients. Magical ingredients? "Bicorn horn?" she asked after raising her hand. Well, it was used in polyjuice potion and since they were going to be...changing their bodies...why not? Plus it had something to do with skin! Mwaha! Even though, bicorns, ate human flesh. Bleh.

And really, what ever happened to sneaking into class when late? Hmm?

Eli's jaw dropped when he saw the Slytherin enter the room and announce her lateness. He knew she was a firstie; she had been sorted when he was. And now the professor was going to set her on FIRE for sure.

Weren't Slytherins supposed to be cunning?

Maybe he could distract the professor. "Professor, can you please explain the difference between a fattening solution and a swelling solution? I mean, in terms of actual physical metamorphosis and what the person who takes the potion experiences? Have you taken both of them personally? Does it feel different to the drinker?" There. Hopefully that would help. He didn't fancy seeing another kid set on fire or worse.

Dianna raised her hand. "Doxy Eggs?" she wasn't exactly sure about that one but at least she tried.
Oh no.. she thought as Savannah entered the class late.

Josh smiled wider when he saw Evelyn chuckle silently. And it was a wise move since this professor was a dangerous one. Danger danger danger! Hehehehe. So, trying not to whisper another joke in her ear the boy blinked at the professor as he requested to hear magical ingredients.

Hmmm. What could it be? He raised his hand and was about to say something when that Ravie firstie started to...talk. Physical metamorphosis... That was it! He had once been turned into a dwarf troll and troll were...huge. ''Professor...'' so he said raising his hand again ''...what about Troll parts? Trolls are huge and fat and ugly. Are not they?''

Savannah saw Dianna in class. She walked over and sat beside her. "Hey, am I late?" she asked.

"Kinda.." she whispered. Very.. she thought

Savannah looked at her closely. "liar" she said with a smirk. "Then why's people all staring at me?"

"Ehehehe.." Dianna smiled. "Okay your are pretty late and I guess everyone's staring at you because 1. your late and 2. we'll lose house points and stuff.." she whispered and then continued to listen to the Professor and the others.

Hecate looked at the girl. "Two points from Slytherin for being late."

"Yes, very good." She said to the girl. Miss Flores was proving to be a very smart student.

"A fattening potion expands the fat cells, and the swelling solution fills the skin with liquid. You cannot undergo procedures when you are under a swelling solution. And yes, I've taken both. The fattening solution is really tasty." She said.

"... no." She said looking at the girl. Why did she think Doxy eggs would make you gain weight?

She smirked. "Troll blubber actually, and as gross as it sounds, Troll blubber tastes fantastic."

"Yes, you are... not shut up and join the class." She said.

She glared at the girl.

"Two points from each of you for chatting. Now pay attention!" She told them.

"Does anyone know what a Krispy Kreme is?" She asked.

Jeez! They had just another 4 points. Great, just great. And this time it wasn't even Lafay's fault but they were totally justified. What was wrong with this year's Slytherins anyhow?! Running a hand through her hair the Prefect sighed barely audibly while taking down notes of all which had been said before. To be honest, she was only here to watch out for the other students...

At the professor's next question, though, Nancy raised her eyebrows in surprise. Krispy Kreme?! She had heard of that but she wasn't sure if it was the same thing than what Lafay wanted to here. Well, it was worth a try. It wasn't like she was going to put her in detention if it was wrong. Haha, yes, great joke...Not. Anyhow. "Professor? I think it's this chain which sells donuts. They are from America I think." She stated a little hesitantly after raising her hand.

Ugh.. Dianna just 'shut up' as the Professor had said and listened.

Hearing about Krispy Kreme she sat up straight and listened more.
"The doughnuts! They're very delicious.." she said while lowering her hand.

Eli raised his hand. "Is it like when a meringue gets left out and it's all creamy inside but crunchy outside?" he put his hand down.

The hand shot back up as the purple-haired boy thought of something else. "Also, professor? What happens if a person takes a fatty potion but they already have a lot of fat in their blood, if it swells up fat won't that make those cells get swelled up and stop their blood and give them a heart attack or a stroke or something? My great-uncle died of a heart attack. He wasn't fat but still fat blocked his heart up."

Amy put up her hand, they're an American sweets chain, specialising in dougnuts professor, ohhh they're chocolate dream, ummm she smiled to herself, thinking about that beautiful dougnut

Oh, two ingredients correct.

That was nice.

Gold raised her hand again, at Professor Lafay's next question. "It's a chain of doughnut stores, professor," she answered, pretty matter-of-factly. "Basically based in the United States. North Carolina, I believe. The name can be used to refer to the doughnuts they sell, themselves." She paused and then added, "They have delicious glazed ones."

.... and she should sooo know.

Selena raised her hand. "It's a baked pastry called a doughnut, it is usually glazed, I believe, with sugar," Selena said happily. She would not mind if the professor was handing those out.

"They are Heaven in a ring", Patroclus smiled, "A style of sweet cake, the doughnut, which originated with the Dutch, but became largely popular when they colonized the North of America. Krispy Kreme, sort of reinvented the dougnut, when the produced the completely glazed donught, as opposed its predecessors that were just coat on top with either sugar or cream." Patroclus had had a few Krispy Kreme's in his life, however his mother was not a fan, due to their fat content, but obviously it was for that that Lafay was looking for.

Eli raised his hand again; apparently everyone was well versed on these crispy-cremes but him. "Is this a muggle thing? It sounds like a muggle thing." he said skeptically.

No matter what anyone said about a crispy creme (if creme could ever be crispy), and how delicious it was, Evelyn just could not stop thinking about what the Professor said about how troll blubber tastes fantastic.

The Slytherin knew the Professor had a slightly different taste in foods then most others but really, troll blubber? When and where had she ever tried that? Or even thought about trying it? Or...why she would voluntarily try it. That's just, gross. And these crispy cremes were probably gross too. What was a donut anyways? Aw wait no, someone said it was a sweet. An American sweet. Well then...That will be something she would not be trying. Ever.

However the way Patroclus said it, she may just change her mind on the matter.
