After your journey through a door to the right of the main staircase in the Entrance Hall and down a staircase there, you find yourself standing before a still life painting. Upon giving the correct password, you are allowed access to a warm, welcoming underground room, decorated in the Hufflepuff house colours. Gathered around the large fireplace are several oversized and overfilled plump sofas, which resemble fluffy clouds, and a variety of comfortable armchairs scattered around for you to rest your weary bodies in.
A long table sits in the brightest part of the room (torches are lit all day long) for the students who would rather do their homework in here than in their dormitories or the library.
Portraits of past well-known Hufflepuffs hang on one wall, among them are Cedric Diggory and Nymphadora Tonks, who died in the dark days of You-Know-Who's power, as well as the Fat Friar. Remember and honour them as you walk to or from your dormitories.
Two perfectly round, barrel top doors are positioned on opposing sides of the common room. They both open to reveal underground tunnels which will lead you to your common rooms; boys on the right, girls on the left. | |

Zeph went into the commonroom, there was alot of people. Too many. It made him blush heaps when there were lots of girls and that made him even madder about everything. He took of his camera and sat down trying to be ignored. If the people here were too crazy he would take his toad called prince for a walk.

Charlotte walked out of the girls dormitory, still sleepy from her catnap, and glanced around. She recognized a boy stretched out on the couch and table and smiled a little. She walked over, sat down, and said, "You look familiar. How do I know you?"
Her moods were quite extraordinary sometimes. One minute she was shy and quiet, the next she was walking up to half-familiar boys and demanding to know how she knew them. She was definately an odd Hufflepuff. | |

As he was dreaming about a good game of wizard's chess, a voice broke him from his checkmate move and he felt a the weight change on the couch as someone his age sat next to him. He looked over and at her question smiled. "Hi, I think we met at the opening feast, but really didn't get the chance to talk."
He looked at her and wondered what she was thinking. After Christine started fussing with someone else, She had stopped chatting with him.
