Professor Virohsa nodded. Deciding that it would be safer for the children if she stayed nearby the biting plants, she looked around at the area. The children were ok.. the plants were ok.. no meat messes.. it seemed like the situation was under control.

"The plants look... fed enough, dears", she added after a few minutes of thought. "Perhaps you can move unto a safer task away from these biting plants", she added.

Adz nodded and moved onto sweeping. There was dirt everywhere.

Sarah continued sweeping the floor, vaguley distracted by the noise on the other side of the greenhouse caused by the plants. A vine creeped around her leg as she swept the leaves into a pile.
"Ahh!" She yelped as it yanked at her foot, sending her crashing to the floor. Sarah grabbed her broom and started to swipe at the vine, which withdrew quickly.
Sarah stood up and brushed herself down, and looked around checking to see no-one had seen her.

Glad on the cue to leave said task - it didn't look like a good idea to continue anyways, and most plants on her row at least looked to be full (mind, they ripped that piece of meat between themselves and that might have tired them) -, Nadia nodded and returned the tray she had made of meat to the fridge. From there, she went back to the list of tasks and pondered on what to do. In the end, and due to the accidents that made the last ten or so pitchers spill their content, Nadia resolved to do the cleaning-and-refilling task again.

Laurasia had been in charge of second and third tasks (so much for fordism), Lee was seemly taking care of the plants in Section 40-50, the others did a mix of the two... yeah, Nadia would do the pitchers-task. Going around, she first gathered and took with her the laying pitchers, disposed of or left casually around or such, levitating them to follow her with the movili-spell. Which was easy, despite the plant that was stubborn in tickling her. Then, one by one, used Sourgify in it. She prefered it to Evanesco because the second asked for more concentration and you to decide what to vanish and what not. Finally, after placing them in trays she had setted in a row over a table, she used the watering charm and filled them.

Of course, it took some time but all in all it was an efficient way to working and it left two dozen pitchers with water ready to be used.

Kay was pleased that their second attempt at stunning the biting plants had worked. It had just been so long since she had to stun a moving plant...the last time was when they were bandaging the limbs of the Whomping Willow with Professor Phoenix. She turned to Peony and Nadia and smiled, "Now that's what I call teamwork!" just as Professor Virohsa ran over to help them. "We're okay, Professor," she replied and listened to the suggestion of moving to a safer task.

Walking away from section 30, Kay decided that she would help Lee water the plants in sections 40-50. She grabbed a pitcher and began to water the plants in section 50.

"Sure the plants look fed enough..." muttered Peony, fingering her torn robe. "They fed off us..." She sounded a little bitter - ahem - alright, a lot bitter, but those robes had been her favorite robes.

Do you know how bleedin' hard it is to get these sort of robes, and wear them down to the right level of comfort?

The plants suddenly received an extra hard dousing of water. "Oops," said Peony dismally. "My hand slipped."

Lee followed Lauraisa into a room, where indeed spare change of robes were. "That was lucky," he said thankfully to his new Slytherin friend. He changed and then walked out the room moments later dry, with the excpetion of his hair. He walked over to where Professor Virohsa had left the list so he could choose another job since he assumed the plants between 40 and 50 were thoroughly watered enough.

Deciding the first three tasks looked more appealing he wondered over to where the equipment was placed. He took about five pitchers and filled them up with clean, fresh water right to the brim. Looking in a nearby closet he found the red stones stated in the instructions. He began to grind them so that powdery dust fell into a seperate pitcher. Once satisfied with his plentiful amount of powder, he placed equal amounts into each of the five pitchers that contained water.

After he had mixed them together he headed to a different greenhouse which held the first ten sections. He walked up Section two where gloomy, dark and dull plants where positioned. He watered them all until he came to a rather elegant black rose. Quite absorbed by the flower he said "Ma'am whats this plant? Whats its properties?," he asked curiously tot he Professor, finding it hard to resist looking at it.

Pacilla nodded at Professor Virohsa, "Thanks, professor." She said happy that her broom was good as new now. "Alright, will do. I think the sweeping is almost done now, just a few more places to clean up and then we can start mopping." She concluded and walked briskly off towards the same row. hmm, this doesn't look like the same row... Pacilla thought, looking confused. There was no more sticky puddle and there were no more leaves or branches on the floor.

Then she looked up and noticed that the plants were different too. "Oh goodness, this isn't the right row..." she mumbled to herself, and distantly heard some students shout "Stupify" a few rows over. "wonder what that's all about." She sighed and walked the row and turned into the next one. Aha! this is the row! She smiled a little too widely and walked over to where she had left off (the sticky puddle), but she kept her broom up until she was right next to the leaves. Then she bent down, still keeping her broom on dry -not sticky- ground, and carefully touched the ground where the leaves were making sure it wasn't sticky.

Then she found it wasn't and continued to sweep, making sure she didn't get her broom sticky and when she finished she walked back to the broom cupboard and put the broom away but before getting a mop, she got a piece of bright yellow parchment and quill and ran back to the sticky liquid puddle and wrote a note on the yellow piece of parchment to warn others of the stickyness. Then she walked back to where the mops were kept and got a mop and bucket of water and went to the row she was just in because she was in the frame of mind that the stickyness would go away with water.

Noticing that now there was more water than powder to be added, and Nadia was left with no task to do, she decided to go over the stone mortal and pestle (this was like Potions in a way), took the red rocks and grinded them onto her tools, getting a good powder. This was pretty much at the same time Lee started doing the grinding, but he switched tasks leaving her to be.

Other people were just going on with their jobs. There was this young Ravenclaw who passed somewhat near the biting plants but seemly was doing ok. And now, to be reduntand, that left Nadia there to take of the powder for the wanter. She made enough to work for 7 pitchers, loaded it up on each, then once more was on two minds if to go with the pitcher-filling, stay with the grinding or moving to the watering.

Sangeetha walked inside Greenhouse #17. Looking around, she saw a small crowd, tending to the different plants in different aisles. She had a pair of dragon hide gloves, which she thought would be obvious to bring. Feeling a little annoyed with herself for not knowing what to do, she scanned for Professor Virohsa. Spotting her, she went up to her and asked,

'Professor, I really dont know what to do. COuld you please assign me some work?'

Professor Virohsa looked at the new student. "Sorry dear, but the positions sheet in the bulletin board was placed after last class. If you did not sign up for it then and your name was not included in the announcements board, you cannot work here at this time. Perhaps you can try to sign up after next class", she said coldly.

Sangeetha flinched, but inwardly. Basically, if she ever had a teacher replying to her in such a manner, she would have been running in the opposite direction as fast as she could. But since this was the first time she ever spoke her, she thought she would back away slowly.

'I shall make sure I sign up next time.' she said hitching a very fake smille. She was nervous, 'I'm sorry, I must have not seen the bulletin board. But, thank you.' Nodding at her teacher, while taking a step back, she quickly turned, taking her gloves and walking out of the Green House. Honestly, one small cold comment had caused her so much...nervousness. Goodness know what would happen if any situation as bad as this ever passed by.

Rosa looked around for something to do. those flesh-eating plants were being fed, and so were the plants in sections 40-50... another slytherin girl was grinding red rocks in a mortle and pestle. she walked to the table and started looking for a mortle and pestle. she found a mortle standing at the edge and put it a bit more to the middle of the table, because she was afraid she'd otherwise knock it over. 'hi.' she said, to the the other girl, while looking for a pestle. 'would it be all right if I helped you with smashing those?' she pointed at a bag of red rocks and noticed something looking like a pestle behind one of the bags. she grabbed it and put it next to the mortle, then she filled it with red rocks and started smashing. 'you're nadia, right?' she asked, recognising the face from the trials in her first year and from clases.

Laurasia smiled as she entered the backroom & spotted the extra robes at seemingly the same time as lee had. "You're right, what luck." As Lee seemed to have no trouble finding an extra that fit, as he was already heading back out into the greenhouse. When he smiled, she returned the sentiment while looking for an extra that would fit herself as well. "I'll be out in a minute." Finding one she quickly changed into the extra robe.

She headed back out into the greenhouse & approached professor Virohsa. "Excuse me, Professor. It seems that Nadia & the others are handling the watering of the plants in the first few sections. Also, Lee has already watered the plants in sections 40 - 50 & I know that they don't need very much water." She glanced at the biting plants behind the professor that had settled down since their episode with Nadia, Kay & Peony.

"I was wondering if the biting plants needed to be watered as well. I know that they have been fed, but would you like for them to watered too? I'd be more than happy to do it, especially since the rest of the Plant Caretaker tasks seem to be getting tended to."

Nadia looked back at the girl with a smile. "Help yourself. Yeah, my name is Nadia. And I believe I have seen you around as well." She tried to recall, "You are... from Ravenclaw."

Smart, Nadia, really smart. She's wearing the uniform after all. "We haven't met properly. I'm in my seventh year. Yourself?" And she hopped taking from here what was her name to spare herself sounding further rude. In fact, she did remember the face but her memory was failing her...

At that time, she thought she spotted from the corner of her eyes a figure walking to the professor. Making a double-take, she recognized it as Sangeetha! But not giving her time to wave much less to smile, the girl was slowly walking back, very slowly, and finally out though the door she just came from.

How curious.

Kay continued to water the plants in section 50. As she moved from plant to plant, she made sure that she did not give them too much water per Professor Virohsa's instructions.

Professor Virohsa decided it was about time she started walking around and making sure everything was under control.

After a while, she smiled and using the charm Sonorus she said in a very loud and clear voice, "Please finish up your work. I think we have finished most of it. I am leaving a note by the entrance with the points awarded for your hard work."

ooc- If you want to keep hanging out, you can. Class doesnt start until later on Saturday.

He realised he wasnt going to receive a response to his question. He eventually broke of the gaze toward the black rose type plant. Lee took his pitchers full of red stone powder and water and placed them back to where the equipment was helf, they would do for later tasks.

He headed towards the door and was satisfied once he found out he had earned a simple 7 points for his house. He grabbed his wet robes and then headed back to the castle.

Hearing the professors' announcement, Laurasia decided to give the biting plants some water just in case they needed it. It couldn't hurt afterall.

She quickly went over to where the clean pitchers were, grabbing some of the red powder along the way. Mixing up about 10 pitchers full of water she levitated them over to the plants area. "Immobulus!" she stated at the group of biting plants & they immediately stopped their wiggling about. She quickly walked amongst them & watered their completely. Satisfied that they were all watered sufficiently enough, she levitated the now empty pitchers over to a washing sink on the other side of the room.

After a few minutes of washing & drying the 10 pitchers, she set them on their shelves in the storage room. She quickly ran into the back room where Lee & herself had found the extra robes & grabbed her dirty ones from where she had left them. She gathered up her supplies in her bag & walked over to professor Virohsa before leaving the greenhouse.

"Excuse me, professor. I was just wondering if it would be okay if I returned these robes to the greenhouse after I'm able to get them & my robes washed. I had to borrow them after that plant swung me around," she said with a laugh.

"Oh, that's out cue." Nadia finished the the powdering she had started just before, and only then took notice she had prepared more water and powder than was being used. A bit hastly, and while waiting for Rosa to respond, Nadia poured all powder over the water of the pitchers she had lie down here and there, then used each to water some dry looking plants at the back, gesturing the Ravenclaw to come along so they would be able to keep chatting.

'oh, yes I'm in ravenclaw,' said Rosa, following Nadia with a pitcher full of water and smashed rocks to the plants. 'my name's Rosa.' she stuck out her hand, but realised the pitcher was still in it, and just smiled. 'a seventh year? I've only just started my third!' she said, pouring some water over one of the plants

The corners of Nadia's mouth lifted inwardly as Rosa held the hand with the pitcher, returning the smile to greet her. Every so often she would summon a new pitcher with the powdered water and feed a new plant.

"Ah, are you? Yes, this is my last year, sad to say," she recounted as she watered another plant. "So, Rosa, what do you think of Hogwarts, I mean - of course, you are in third year that's actually a dumb-sounding question, no?" She looked appologetical as she realized that was a first-year kind of question, not fitting here.

"Well, though... what do you reckon, do you think Hogwarts will close this year?"

Professor Virohsa turned to look at Laurasia. She nodded as she examined the robes. "Yes, dear. Return them at your convenience", she replied.

Laurasia nodded at Professor Virohsa. "Thank you ma'am. I'll return them as soon as possible. Have a good day." Having recieved permission to take the spare robes with her, Laurasia quickly left to get both sets laundered.

Rosa giggled surprised. 'well, yeah, maybe it's an odd question, but I haven't had much time to find out how hogwarts really is, have I?'she said, to ease Nadia about her question 'somewhere in the beginning of my 1st year they replaced all the teachers and then the ministry was here nearly all the time last year. But I do like hogwarts' she sighed and accidentally spilled half a pitcher over one plant when Nadia reminded her of what might happen to hogwarts. Immediately, the leaves dropped a bit and the plant suddenly seemed smaller. 'oh no' she sighed, shaking her head. 'I think he's drowning...' she stared at the plant wondering what to do.
