ooc: Good at everything?! Nadia?! O_o The only reason I'm not making her any clumsier is turning to be little original

Nadia had been though her four hole, cleaning her forehead in her sleeve but leaving places with dirt on its wake, wondering when the professor would come out so she could ask how many holes they would need, and it was then when she heard another muffled cry.

It came from a couple of sections away, the 40 and so rows. The professor was coming out from the cold rooms as Nadia reached it there. And, everything seemed a mess. And there was this green substance that would make any body panic. The plants lie down there, cut and subsuded.

Alex was still scared, it looked like that. What did Alex have that made the plants to prone to want to attack her! Nadia went over there, even thinking of voicing her question, before she did a double-take and in the end responded, "It's probably just fear. Calm down."

Though Zekke's flirting might work better...

Professor Virohsa walked out of the cold sections and was taking her coat off when she heard Zekke cry out for her. Putting the jacket, gloves, hat, and scarf on the ground she hurried towards them. It seemed that Jaren had already immobilized the plants and that Alex had been hurt.. again.

Professor Virohsa kept a close eye on the plants as she examined Alex's leg. It seemed like it had been perforated by one of the plants' needles. Thankfully, the plant was not as bad as others.. yet.. "Zekke, I need you to run to the Poison Center and grab the blue bottle on the left cupboard that says Quick Healing", she told him quickly.

Immediately, she took out her wand and examined Alex's leg with greater detail. It seemed that the plant did not have a chance to do much.. So this was good news. "Do not worry dear, we will just make sure to leave your leg as new as it was before", she explained.

Thank Merlin. Nadia was there and now, so was Virohsa. He let out a sigh of relief and ruffled Alex's hair with a grin before he sprinted off to the Poison Center.

While there...

"Blue bottle on the left cupboard... blue bottle... blue bot- Ah ha!"

He read the label and it said "Quick Healing" on it and he grabbed the bottle and hurried back to Virohsa.

"Here it is. Blue bottle on the left cupboard."

After handing their professor the bottle, he stood back a bit and took a deep breath. He knew there was a reason he avoided opening himself and feeling people like that. Now that the danger was hopefully over, what was left of his anxiety was pure adrenaline.

He'd need a good duel after this. A really nice, long, kick-in-the-pants duel with both Nadia and Jaren at the same time.

Either that or a good fight. Maybe detention would even be worth it.

Schooling his expression into one of measured equal parts of nonchalance and peace, he shoved his hands into his pockets and clenched his fists.

Professor Virohsa was glancing at Alex when Zekke came back. With a small grin, she took it and offered it to Alex. "Here dear, make sure to take one gulp. One gulp should be more than enough", she told her.

Curiosity, however, could not be contained. "Professor, what exactly is in the medicine and what does the medicine do?" Zekke peered curiously at the bottle.

After resting for a while, Kay finally felt up to working again. This time, she opted for the least dangerous task - sweeping the floor. Taking a broom in hand, she began to sweep the floor in section 1. As she swept, she could hear a lot of shouting and saw Zekke sprint into the Poison Room and back out again.

OK, maybe she had come here for nothing, it didn't look like she was needed. Virohsa tended Alex's wound, while Zekke had gone to retrieve the healing potion and the plants were taken care of... They even seemed to medicine-handle the wound with a hankerchief and taken the needles out of Alex's leg.

So what was she doing here?

Sighing slightly, relieved but a bit weary for that much action in one day, Nadia started to turn around and back where she was coming from. Might as well finish those holes. Her muscles were sore by then.

Zekke brightened a bit at seeing Nadia and he hurried over to her. "I don't suppose you could use another pair of hands?"

The adrenaline was still zinging through him and he needed something to distract himself. He supposed he could just excuse himself from the Greenhouse, but that would earn him nothing but peculiar looks.

The best option seemed to be to try and get his mind off of everything and a bit of physical labour seemed to be the ticket. Not to mention, Nadia's presence would be rather comforting.

He flashed Alex a reassuring smile before he followed after Nadia.

"On the contrary," she assured Zekke, looking surprised to see him there, "this about digging ask one to lean over and, ugh, my back is killing me." She shook her head, "though if you are too tired yourself we can do something else?"

At this and while talking, the two have moved and reached the place in question. So Nadia thought she might as well-- "Here," she said handing in tools and outfit from the nearby closet the professor had to offer them. Must say, Zekke looked a bit peculiar in those... Anyways.

Then she moved to the place to dig, kneeling over and giving out instructions as she remembered from the last time she had done this. Wide, deep and distance between each whole, that type of thing.

Before she had managed to answer Zekke, he was already dashing to get her the potion. Once he returned, she listened to what Virohsa said and took a gulp of the potion. It was already starting to soothe her. She layed back on the couch and sighed. The plants just didn't like her today. As she was staring off in some random corner of the Greenhouse, she felt Zekke ruffling her hair. Alex blinked at him but said nothing.

"Thanks," she smiled and closed her eyes. After all, she had needed a rest for a long time now.

"I'll finish over whatever's left." As usual, she wasn't going to let things like this get to her, no matter what she had to endure. Especially not pain. And even though most of the pain was wearing off now, she felt rather dizzy.

When she got up, Alex felt like the world was literally spinning around her. "And then again, maybe I'll lay down for a while."

ooc - Sorry Francis. Nadia is right though. I jumped to conclusions. I just assumed that since I had left the girl in that section earlier that her character would still be there. I'll be sure not to do it again. I didn't mean to play another's character. In fact, I hate it when people do that.

Laurasia sighed deeply when the professor mentioned that the girl may have left the room when she wasn't looking & was know elsewhere. Why hadn't she thought of that? Perhaps all of the recent anxiety in the room was beginning to get to her.

She looked around at the floors & realized that over the course of everything that had happened they had become rather soiled. She quickly headed over to the broom closet & pulled out a few. She quickly enchanted them to start sweeping the dry areas of the greenhouse. Checking that they were indeed working as she intended them to, she retrieved a mop & bucket & headed for the wet weather sections to mop up any excess water that may be collecting on the floors.

As she was mopping her way down one of the aisles she accidently backed right into one of the potted plants knocking it to the ground. Immediately the pot shattered & dirt mixed with the water making the floor muddy. She let out a long sigh. She quickly enchanted the mop to start working on the now spreading mud & gathered up the plant, dirt & all, to re-pot it.

She gently sat the plant on a worktable, being sure not to damage the root delicate system. She gathered a medium-sized pot & some fresh soil. "Professor Virohsa, does this particular plant need any special additives to their soil? I accidently knocked this one down & need to re-pot it now."

Kay was immersed in sweeping the warm section of the Greenhouse, sections 1-10 to be exact, when she spotted an unattended broom whisking it's way through a section that she had already meticulously swept. "Hrmph," she grunted and with narrowed eyes tracked the path of the broom.

OOC- Oh, its totally fine. Its just that sometimes some characters will disappear, and it is a better policy to not play with the characters that disappeared And what's TMI?

Professor Virohsa was about to respond when she noticed that Zekke was not helping Nadia. Looking at the time and at the chores, she smiled. "Very well, you may start finishing up. You all did very good!", she said encouragingly. "Just finish what you are doing, and I will see you in class if not in my office", she stated plainly.

Then looking towards Alex she asked, "Will you need any help, dear?" The girl certainly looked weak and tired. "Perhaps you can come to my office for some energizing tea. If you use the right kind of plant, the plant will give you super strength or even a longer life", she said in her usual cold tone.

ooc: Too Much Information about our IC characters. I need to type mine up. [scribbles down notes] If Alex-IC doesn't try to murder me. Ahem.

"That would be nice," Alex answered Virohsa with a small nod. Slowly, she stood up and wandered over to where Virohsa was. The girl was actually starting to like Virohsa. Really and truly.

"Shall we go now or later?"

"Ermmm - Professor?" Jessica asked brightly. "Do you need any help, I mean can I be useful in any way?" She really hoped she could be useful in some wayand looked expectantly at Professor Virohsa.

Professor Virohsa nodded. "We can go now", she told Alex. "Remember, you may stay here until class begins. So do not feel you have to leave right away", she told the larger group of students who were working. "I will be in my office... If something happens, come and get me", she said aloud. ((ooc- Class doesn't start until next week, so you still have a couple of days of RP if you want))

As she was preparing to leave the Greenhouse she was stopped by a Griffyndor student. "Ah, well.. I would love the help. However, there are certain rules you need to follow in order to work for the Greenhouse in between classes", she added. "And those are to put your name on the Bulletin Board after class", she explained. "Hope to see you next time, dear", she added as she began escorting Alex out of the greenhouse.

"Sure professor, thanks a lot for telling," Jessica said gaily and waving to Professor Virohsa, she made her way back to the castle, making a mental note to put her name on the Bulletin board next time.

"Very well," she muttered quietly and followed Professor Virohsa out of the Greenhouse.

Seeing that all of the students were still busy with their chores, Professor Virohsa exited the Greenhouse.. heading towards her office.

Xavier walked over to the other side of the greenhouse, trying to find something to do. Looking down at the floor, he realized someone had tracked mud in. He sighed and summoned a mop from a nearby corner and started to mop up the mess.

Looking around, he tried to figure out who the cuprit was. The only problem was that the mud was in a lot of places, and by a lot of people.

After rolling up his sleeves, Zekke went to work helping Nadia dig holes for the plants. He followed her example with digging nice deep holes more or less evenly spaced apart.

With each hole he dug, a little of the adrenaline wore away, enough so that it was at a more manageable level and as he dug, he found himself thinking about how he and Nadia had first met.

They had worked together for HIT, then for Quidditch...

"How do you think Quidditch will do this term?" he quietly inquired as he dug.

Crisis over, Jaren decided to clean up the mess that Alex's scuffle with the plant had left, weilding a mop and bucket. He intended to use the mop in more ways than one, if the said plant got cocky.

First thing to do would be to place the plant back upright. Not foolish enough to do it with his hands, he used his wand instead to levitate it back into position. Only then did he start mopping the aisle.

Well, this was not Nadia's idea for acquiring experience with plants, she thought as she was given along with the rest the notice to finish up. Battling bitting and animated plants, carry sandbags and makes holes... only the watering was part of the plant care. With a slight grimace, Nadia considered she might after all do give that extra help to the boys in Herbology Zekke had asked for two years ago.

Her thoughts were suddenly interrupted by Zekke's question. "Ah, Quidditch!" she acknowledged. "I'll make a terrible seeker. But we can't have you, Reign quited and most of our star-players have disappear." She sighed. "Poor Ganymede."

She could only remember teh pressure of being captain. As they were finishing, Nadia picked herself up and brushed herself off the dirt. Then she noticed she was leaving a trace of dirt Xavier was now trying to clean up, and gave him a small appologetical smile. "You must be suffering as much, eh? Miss it?"

She considered it for a second and then added, "what about we ask permission from the people in charge so we can have our own games? Or at least, to fly by the lake?"

"You'd make a fine Seeker, Nadia," Zekke's eyes were warm as he spoke.

"Honestly, I miss flying and I miss the games and the thrill," he admitted. "Right now, I'd give a lot of things to be able to fly again, but I suppose I sort of understand their reasoning," he grumped. "Gives me more time for NEWTs, sure... but... Ah whatever."

He grinned and wiped a hand across his brow and set down his tools. "Do you think they'd let us? Play informal Quidditch I mean? Or at least fly around the Pitch and Grounds? We're not first years."

"Well, I know I won't be as good as you. I know my pulse... well, it's different a thing, to grab a quaffle or a snitch. I can't compare... anyways. Yes, that's my reasoning. I believe there was a... ban of sorts at some point. But it cannot be still working, can it?" She frowned. "I would hope not.

"Well, if you so wish, we can ask - maybe we can ask the professor right now," she gestured the door where Virohsa had just left though. "A way or another, we are going to fly this year."

She had grown serious, and by we she might mean more generally than it looked like. "How's NEWTs studing going, by the way," she asked, while trying to take off the dirt with dirty gloves. Not the smartest thing to do. In the end, she did grow wise to pull the gloves off to actually do the cleaning. The dirt was getting to her eyes.
