"And for maintenance, I'll tell give the informations after finishing this Security issues first." he explained and moved to Olivia's questions.
He turned to them, grinned. "So now, we're moving onto the Maintenance topic properly" he didnt move away from where he was, but accepting everyone's suggesstions about maintaining the place clean and litter free.
"I'd appreciate your eagerness over cleanliness. Really.." he gave them a satisfied smile, "And..everyone will be assigned to some area. You all will recieve the information about your alloted place around the ground and campground."
Brainstroming is fun!!
Clapping her hands, lightly and more femininly that the males, Cal gave Olivia a smile. " 'Gratulations." She spoke as she swallowed her mouth full of drink water, before placing her cup down, and placing her fingers and hands out flat on the table, listening.
Callie smiled at Mr. Lee and gave a nod. "Sure, I'll have it done by later, or early tomorrow. I'm attending a reuinion with a couple of friends." She gave a nod, obviously not everyone wanted to know what she was doing but if she didnt have it done by the end of the day, and it would be finished by the morning after. But leaving work early, wasn't gonna help to get that done on a rush , making sure she had all of the spells needed. And made sure that it was okay.
Sitting quietly while Mr.Lee spoke to them about what they were moving onto, she gave a little nod.
Sawyer dropped his quill to the table and brought his hands together to clap as Mr. Lee introduced Olivia Hawthorne as the new Division Head of Maintenance. He smiled, enjoying the positive atmosphere. So far, at least, everyone seemed very agreeable. It was apparent that everyone liked and respected Brian, and judging by the volume of the applause, Miss Hawthorne didn't appear to be some power-hungry troll either.
He was somewhat taken aback when he heard his name said from behind him. He turned to look at his boss. "Yes, sir." The corners of his mouth tugged slightly into a small smile. "Anything that involves flying." He slid his hands into his pockets. "So, if we need more brooms, I can look into our best options for purchasing or renting them," he offered.
Brian smiled at him, liked that fact that he was also a quidditch player like him. Brian thought about his Quidditch days for few seconds before came back to reality. "Awesome. So which is your fav. team?" he asked, his face brightened up more. Playing, trecking and being fit was his fav. thing. No matter what the sport was. He grinned, "Well..purchasing will cost more," it was not possible since the Ministry had already decided to reduce the expenses in order to allot more money to St. Mungos. "But..hiring sounds good and would work" he told him frankly.

Sitting quietly while Mr.Lee spoke to them about what they were moving onto, she gave a little nod.
Brian turned his attention to Callie now. "That would be good, Callie. Make it as soon as possible." his voice was gentle, still standing and walking around for morethan one and half hours.
Time for an Important announcement. Brian pulled himself away from the board and took a step forward. "Well..before moving onto further discussions, I'd like to announce and introduce our new Division Head of Maintenance." he paused with a grin in his face, "Ms. Olivia Hawthorne!" taking a quick glance at her, he continued, "Let's give her a round of applause" he clapped his hands after shoved the wand into his trouser pocket.
numble perks his head up to her the announcement olivia was the new division head well i guess she deserved it she was in maintenance and he was in security congratulations olivianumble said you will do very well.
"To different areas, Numble. Mainly they're desinged to reach our security check points around the area. No doubt in it..so..no extra work" he re-assured him. It was already a heavy and mind-wrecking job so no more extra-burden due to lack of planning. He was not going to allow it.
yes sir numble said sorry to go back to the security issue but will each security personal have a designated area as well just like maintenance do or will they be moved around from area to area and i was thinking maybe we could have like section leaders for the differant areas.numble said numbles favoritething was securtiy and law enforcement and he fancied him self in knowing alot about the matter

"And for maintenance, I'll tell give the informations after finishing this Security issues first." he explained and moved to Olivia's questions.
His new division head. Sincere and efficient staff. He smiled at her warmly as he spoke, "Well..the spray, can be use for anything if you want to make invisible, from tent to yourself" he said in a jovial tone, "And as we all know cloaks are expensive and demand in market.."he added an extra informations, hands went back to trouser pockets as usual.
"I'm coming to your questions, Olivia, a bit later.." he said and started walking around the table again, listening everyone's reactions.
"To different areas, Numble. Mainly they're desinged to reach our security check points around the area. No doubt in it..so..no extra work" he re-assured him. It was already a heavy and mind-wrecking job so no more extra-burden due to lack of planning. He was not going to allow it.
Finally he heard something from Max who seemed deeply thinking and working on something in his mind. Brian nodded, "You're absolutely right Max. Our oblivators are getting ready to do the work and the Muggle worthy Committee is in charge of setting Muggle repelent charm over the area. So our hands are free for that matter." He was happy that every department had been piped up and working like bees to host this event successfully.
He cleared his throat mildly before started the next topic. His wand scribbled down...on the board in his neat and ligible handwriting.
He turned to them, grinned. "So now, we're moving onto the Maintenance topic properly" he didnt move away from where he was, but accepting everyone's suggesstions about maintaining the place clean and litter free.

She was carefully scribbling down all the notes she would need when Brian spoke again, and it made her jump.He was telling everyone now? Oh....and they were clapping!
Smiling brightly, she stood and gave a small wave and nod to everyone in the room. "Thank you so much," she blushed slightly as it sunk in. "I look forward to working with all of you" Giving Brian another nod,Olivia sat back down and folded her hands in her lap, listening as he explained about the spray.Oh that made sense, yes cloaks themselves are extremely expensive.
No doubt Olivia and her Maintenance team would have to help out the security force with their preperations as well, so even though the information Brian was giving to Numble and Max was security based she still noted it all down. They were all one big department, and after all the security check points and portkey areas would also need to be kept clean.
Olivia gave Callie another of her beaming smiles as the task of compling the list was given to her. "As long as it's done and up by the end of the week, that'll be fine." She didn't want the poor girl to be overun and feel under pressure on her first day.And from what she'd seen of her so far...she was going to be a valuable member of their team.
Glancing up at the screen as the notes changed to the Maintenance stuff, Olivia pulled another sheet of paper out and quickly headed it with the title, and the information already given to them.Chewing the end of her quill (a horrible habit she really needed to break) Olivia was lost in thought as to how many staff she would need for the area they had to cover, especially as they would have to constantly clean up, it wasn't a one time only operation.Even though she was the second in command of maintenance she didn't yet know the exact figures of the staff they currently had.Looking over to Brian, she smiled at him and spoke again. "Do you know if we will be aquiring any more new staff before the event, Mr Lee? Because I'd think we'd need quite a few people to keep somewhere as large as the stadium and surrounding areas tidy for the whole event."

Brian waved his hands in air, "No problem Numble. I'd appreciate your questions." he said, encouraging him to go on with his doubts. He never bothered about explaining things again and again. It was part of his job too. He smiled and spoke after Numble finished, "Mmm..timely question." he nodded, "We're going to work as groups. So every group leader will get the information about their alloted areas to take care of. It's applicable to both the departments."

Smiling warmly at Olivia as she acknowleged everyone's greetings, Brian waited untill the cheerings settle down. "Well..We'll get more. It's on the process. We're just waiting for the right persons who are eligible to this speciality job." It looked like they were running short of time to train the newly recruited staffs here after. But then again, he hoped for the best as usual.

Max thought about what numble just said "Yes, we need to get a little more Aquainted in order to work efficiently together." It was true that the world cup wasn't for a while but he wanted to get to know co-workers a bit better. "I mean the hard work will go more quickly in groups. Which will leave room for the more fun aspects of the Quidditch World Cup."
A black cat had entered the room and went and sat in the corner and observed everything that went on in the conference room. The cat looked at everyone that spoke. The cat not make a sound and did not move once it was in the corner. Only once it flick a small piece of crumpled paper with its tail across the floor at Brian's leg so hopefully it would get noticed by him.

Sawyer smiled and eased into his chair a bit more. Quidditch was always the perfect subject to talk about. "Well, I like the Appleby Arrows and the Holyhead Harpies. And Puddlemere, of course. But, I'd have to say that the Arrows are my favorite." He wasn't even exactly sure how he came to start liking the Arrows, but he knew he had always rooted for them. "As a kid, I pretty much dreamed of being on one of those teams." He paused. "Well... except for the Harpies, since they only take witches." Sawyer shifted his gaze back to Mr. Lee. "So, I take it you played too. Which were your favorites?"
When the topic of conversation strayed back to be a little bit more on topic, Sawyer nodded an affirmation. "Sure. I'll look into renting out the brooms, then."
As Numble spoke about forming groups ahead of time, Saywer thought on the idea, and quickly came to the conclusion that he agreed. Getting to know who you would be working with most of the time would certainly be an asset at the QWC. "That's a good point, Numble." He gave a subtle smile. It may have been a bit odd, but Sawyer would never get tired of that name, 'Numble.' It was so.. perfect! Numble. It rolled off one's tongue all too well, and he knew that he'd be saying some sort of greeting to the man whenever he got the chance, if only for the fact that he'd get to address him. It was at this point that Sawyer stopped, thought about how strangely off-topic he was, and finally believed how truly insane he must be at times. He quickly redirected his thoughts to the QWC, but - of course - he was distracted yet again. This time, however, by an ink black cat that seemed to have only just appeared.
Chris was listening closely to all that was being said. He listened as Numble talked about groups and how good their usefulness would be. Chris nodded at his other co workers on their ideas as he agreed with most of them. He was writing down his own notes about all of these subjects.

Luckily he had a pretty new bunch of enthusiastic staffs now. Finally. "Your division head sorted out this groupings.." he took a glance at Olivia and turned his gaze to them back, smiled warmly.

Brian's eyes didnt miss it at all. When the black cat slipped into the room and sitting in the corner. Smiling at Adam's obsession over his animagus form, Brian spoke to him "No need for sending message, mate.." he ignored the paper he had sent before and pointed his want at him to make him visible to everyone in his human form.

"Mmm..interesting line up" Brian smiled at him, "I know we all did. It's like every kid's dream to get into a big team. Isnt it?" he went back to his chiildhood memories, how he had been famous as a chaser of his house in the whole school. Speed was his first language in his school days. Bringing back his mind to the reality, Brian said, "Yeah, I did. I was a chaser from my very first year.." he paused, looked like lil lost in those thoughts again, "Well..Puddlemere is my fav. over others.." he let out a mild laugh, as fiddling with his wand in his hand.

Watching Chris as he was listening and taking notes without talking much, Brian's gaze focussed on him. "What Chris? Running out of questions?" he added jovially, as adjusted his shirt a bit.
"So everyone, Are we clear about our tasks?" he asked and came around to sit on his seat, at last, looking at everyone's face for their reaction "Any questions... doubts?"

Callie nodded, "Yup. I'll get the list sorted. Anything else, you want me to get done Mr. Lee?" She asked quickly, her hand regaining its position under her chin, holidng her head upright.
"I've got no questions Mr. Lee" Chris said "Everything you and the others have said is right on for what we need to do and i agree with very much. I really hope that it will all work out as long as we work together as a team." Chris now had a stack of notes in front of him.
Olivia was drawing a mental plan of the stadium and surrounding areas in her head, trying to work out just how many teams the maintenance crew would need to be split into. She vaguely heard Numble and Max discuss getting the teams together beforehand so they could get to know each other, as she was writing down the names of the people she wanted to head each of the seperate teams.
Glancing up as Brian responded to them about the division heads, she smiled over at them and nodded. "Yes, I was just working that out actually.I came to the conclusion," she said, tapping the parchment with her quill, "that we will need one team for each area: campsite, stadium, and outside the stadium. Now depending on how many staff we eventually get, I would like at least 6 on each team, with one of them taking the role of leader to co-ordinate their efforts." Looking up and around the room she made sure the staff from her own division were listening before continuing.
"Now as far as those leaders go, I've been impressed by the way you, Callie and Max," she smiled over at them, "have participated in this discussion, coming up with good suggestions and comments. So I had it in mind to ask both of you to head one of the three teams with me doing the other. We'll sort out who does which areas soon.Do you think you'd be able to do that? Of course I'd check in with each team regularly. And would that plan be ok, Mr Lee?" She shot a quick look over at her boss. All decisions still had to meet with his approval.

Max listened to Olivia, 'How did she plan things out like this so simply without a layout of the area' and he wrote down what she said this was a very important aspect "6 on each team, but how many teams do you think we will need to controll this crowd. It's going to be a very big gathering of the magical Community from all over." She then said his name. "You want me as a leader?" He was rather shocked by this, maxwell wasn't much of a leader...Very Talkative yes, but he never really led anything. Except when he was Quidditch captain, but hufflepuff had their worst year of Quidditch then, but that could have been to the fact that his team was lazy and they never came to practice... oh well thats over with. "Umm...Im not much of a leader, I'd try my best, But you and Mr. Lee have to decide on that."

Olivia looked across at Max as he spoke, smiling at him too. "Well I was more thinking of the maintenance side of things, clearing, fixing and tidying, rather than crowd control.I was going to leave the group forming for that to Edward the Security Division Head.Or Mr Lee," she said, gesturing over towards her boss."Unless they request help in that planning." Quizzically she continued to glance at Brian, hoping for an answer.
She nodded at him, fingers entwining together in her lap as she watched him become slightly uncomfortable.Maybe he doesn't want to do it? "If you don't feel you're ready so soon after joining us, then that is perfectly OK.It's still a while yet to the World Cup, however, so maybe we can help you become a leader in that time....if you want to of course." The last thing she wanted was to scare the new recruits. If he didn't feel he could do it, it didn't matter.
Leaning back in her chair, Olivia placed her quill down on the table and rubbed her eyes.Planning for a world cup was hard!
Brian's eyes didnt miss it at all. When the black cat slipped into the room and sitting in the corner. Smiling at Wyatt's obsession over his animagus form, Brian spoke to him "No need for sending message, mate.." he ignored the paper he had sent before and pointed his want at him to make him visible to everyone in his human form.
Wyatt walked out of the corner and found a seat his eyes darting to all the different people that he have never met before. As he found his seat near the Magical Security Force of the Ministry he pulled out his wand and waved it over his sleeve and all of the paperwork that he needed came out and proportioned itself to the correct size it was meant to be. Also a self-inking Quill came out and he grabbed it and found Empty parchment and started to take down notes as everyone spoke. After taking notes Wyatt quickly wrote something on a peice of parchment and then handed it to Brian.
Quote:
Where is Ed? How can we have a true conference without the Division Head for Magical Security? If after the meeting you have time can we talk later on this matter? If you do not mind.
While Wyatt was taking down notes he did not say a word. He determined that he did not need to put his opinion into business that did not pertain to any other floor or division that he did not work for. Wyatt kept to himself mostly during the meeting taking notes and trying to reconize the new faces that he is seeing.

He thought about what Olivia just said..."Well I'll to do as much as I can to help... What ever you need me to do, I'll do it." He said trying to sound a little more confidently to prove he can hadle whatever they ask of him. "I'll work hard and try to work with whatever you ask me to, even if it's alittle out of my comfort zone"
yes sir numble said again said i don't mean to sound persistent but I was wondering how was the security division head again? im not sure Ive met him yet. i was wondering maybe i could help him at all if needed of course numble said

He will be back in time, if not, I'll be incharge of all Security matters." He explained it and turned to Wyatt who was still enjoying his own way of communications. Not fair.
"And Wyatt, Stop writing messages and do talk and share your questions and ideas with others. Could you?." he added, "There're some new faces in our department. So you need to talk." he said, playing with his wand.

"Good. Nothing, right now, Callie. But Olivia will assign you very soon. Just keep practicing the spells including the one for facial expressions.." he said, a jovial smile ran across his lips immediately. Girls!

Brian leaned back, his wand hand rested on his lap under the table as he was listening them discussing and sorted out the groupings. Interesting and feeling good to know that everyone was piped into that important job and started working out according to their plans.
"Great, Olivia. Just keep going on. I'm absolutely satisfied with the groupings eventhough it's in preliminary stage. But you forgot this thing that we need another six to escort the foreign Ministers and Teams." he reminded again, thoughtfully. "And yes, I guess i need your help with the security department too if Edward didnt get back to work in time" he stated the obvious, just in case.
Brian's ocean blue eyes swept around the room, looking at each and everyone's face and their reactions, interestedly. This conference was going on well, as he expected, tobe honest. He cleared his throat and said, "And guys, Dong forget to dress like a Muggle when you enter the site and be polite and strict as well as much as you could if need." he gave the authority to his staffs to handle the situation better.
When he was talking to them intently, there was a black smoke leaked into the conference room through the gap of the window from behind him and hovering over his head in just few seconds, that he couldnt notice immediately.
Brian came forward and propped his elbows on the clean glass table, "Well..he's on leave with my permission. He has some personal stuffs to deal with. Wyatt looked at Brian and said "Sure no problem. The reason why i wrote that question on parchment is because I thought a bit important and no one else should really know why Ed is not here."

Wyatt overheard the question that Numble had asked Brian. He said to numble "I think Brian has Security Management covered if there is a problem I would think he would know how to fix or ask some of the people that have been working for a while under two different bosses. Sorry if I am being rude or if I seem like a jerk I was just saying that being the Hepartment Head I pretty sure he has it covered."

i agree with u wyatt Mr.Lee is a very compident department had the onlty thing i said was to see if he need my help with any thing intill Edward got back no disrespect wyatt but i come very qualified and have background in security numble said
When he was about to reply to Numble, he heard Wyatt's voice. It seemed they both started a fresh argument inspite of security issues and his own ability. Brian shook his head, grinned, "Guys, Everything will be sorted out soon. Dont worry" he assured them again.
"So..I think it's time to wrap up this meeting." he pointed out the clock. Five 0' clock. "There will be another meeting very soon, within this week. So keep checking and come to my office if you have any doubts and need clarifications." he straightened himself, "Keep discussing and planning according to our plans here. Feel free to use this room, but chat minimum" he smiled warmly and stood up before waved his wand at the black smoke which had been hovered above his head for a while. "Umm..one more thing. I made this lil stunt to see your shrewdness. But it seems no one noticed the smoke above my head." he shook his head again, bit disappointed about this.
"Now, off you go.." he said and gathering up his stuffs from the table. He had to go and take his wife to go home.
Olivia was still busy scribbling down notes, trying to imagine the layout of the stadium in her head when a conversation caught her attention. It seemed that a couple of the security workers were having a bit of a disagreement over whether Brian would need help with Edward not there. She took a sharp intake of breath as she listened to them both.It was nice that Numble wanted to help, eager employees were always appreciated, which is why she didn't really approve of the new man in the room speaking to him that way.Of course with it being none of her business she kept quiet and just studied them with narrow eyes.
It was while she was doing that that she noticed something else out the corner of her eye.Was that black smoke above Brian's head?! Olivia's hand shot to her wand and she pulled it out of her pocket quickly, "Mr Lee! Look out above ---" she was in the middle of saying something when he waved it away.Had he known it was there? His next sentence proved he did.Oh so it was to test their observational skills? Well she had noticed it, just a little too late it seemed. Her head dropped slightly as she addressed her boss, "I had only just seen it, Mr Lee.I apologise, I was distracted by my notes and the current arguement going on...." She shot a side glance at the two men near her.
Will have to work on mental reflexes. Check!
Gathering her things, Olivia slid her chair back and smiled at her boss. "Uhh Mr Lee? When you have time, could we meet in your office and discuss the areas in and around the stadium the Maintenance team will cover, please?"
