Olivia marched purposefully into the conference room.Under her arm was a rolled up diagram of the Quidditch stadium layout that she was due to show her staff.In her hand were several pieces of parchment and a quill for taking notes.This was to be the first meeting she was in charge of in her role as Division Head, and she hoped that everything would go well.

Setting all her things down on the table, Olivia stood staring at the door, smoothing out her robes and waiting for the Maintenance workers to arrive.There was much to discuss.

Callie quickly adjusted her robes, so she didn't look scruffy, and opened the door, smiling at Olivia. "Hey. Need any help before everyone gets here?" She asked quickly, not wanting to intrude, but not wanting to seem rude by not offering help.

A broad smile crept over her face as the first of the staff arrived, and 5 minutes early as well.Excellent time keeping, she nodded to herself. "Afternoon Callie," she greeted the woman warmly. "I think I have all my things under control, thank you, but it would be helpful if you could just distribute some parchment so you can all take notes." Olivia flicked her wand and levitated the parchment she had been carrying over to Callie, and smiled, before looking down at her own and clicking her tongue.

Max strode into the room. He dropped his parchment, and quill down at an empty seat. Then took off his jacket and and threw it over the back of the chair neatly then walked over to Callie and Olivia. "Hello ladies, need anything before we get started?"He asked with a smile. Ladies? when had he ever said ladies? That was something his father would say 'OH NO Im turning into my father.' Then slapped himself twice to get it out of him. Shrugged it off and went on smiling.

Callie nodded quickly, and with an extended hand took the levitating parchment into it. Taking a little walk around the table, Callie left each seat a bit of parchment, dead straight, in line with the edge of the table. And once that had been done, she distributed a quill from a pot in the middle of the table, one next to each of the bits of parchment.

"There you go."

Olivia chuckled at the sight of Max entering and addressing them as 'ladies'.She wasn't sure anyone had called her that before, but she certainly didn't mind.Smiling at him as he approached, she shook her head. "Thank you Max, but we have everything.If you'd like to take a seat I was going to start in a minute....although I had hoped more people would turn up." Olivia glanced at her watch and then back at the door.She knew there were at least 2 more staff she had met before that weren't here yet.Oh well they can catch up or ask later on.

Olivia looked up from her parchment and smiled as Callie set about laying everything out.It was nice that she was so precise about it too, probably will be the same for the main job as well. "Thank you, Callie," she grinned at her.

Picking up the rolled stadium plan off the table, Olivia walked round to the side and unravelled it across the table, taking out the smaller version from inside.Making her way over to the wall she stuck the large one up and turned to face the room again.

Folding her hands in front of her she smiled at Max and Callie. "Now I was going to wait until more people turned up, but we are on a tight schedule and I will be leaving a list of all that was discussed up on the wall anyway......so we'll begin I think."

Reaching into her pocket, Olivia pulled out a pointer and tapped it on the freshly stuck plan. "This is the plan of the newly built stadium for the Quidditch World Cup, as you can see," she began, getting into the swing of conducting a meeting. "My thought was to have 4 teams of Maintenance crew inside, and 4 outside.With the campsite as an extra." Pointing out the red dots on the plan as she spoke, Olivia took a deep breath and continued. "I did want to have a minimum of 6 staff in each team but it's unclear how many new recruits we'll have by then, so unfortunately it may have to be less.Any questions so far? Or thoughts you want to share? I am open to suggestions..." she winked at them both.Best not to be a total bossy boots.

Max looked from the Red dots to the black, to the stairs, Takeing in the whole layout trying to memorize each significant detail. "Is that the whole area, with campsite or without. Since we do have to put into consideration how many are to arrive and figure the number of workers from there." Then he fell silent again. He started to draw the layout of a peice of parchment, looking back up every few seconds to see where to put each circle. Leaving the red dots alone and filling in the black dots to show the diffrence.

Isabella came to the conference room. The meeting started even before she got to the leaky cauldron, and didn't even have time to buy a broom. And she was 10 minutes late! She defiantly had bad luck with meetings.
"Sorry that I'm late!" she apologised, and sat beside Olivia. She saw the map on the table, and started studying it. "It's the Quidditch Stadium plan, right?" she asked.

"It's estimated that we will have 150,000 in attendance at any one match, which as you can imagine, is alot of mess.Plus the fact that Mr Lee wants us to assist the Security crews if needs be.We will need quite a few staff, 6 per group is certainly the minimum," she concluded with a nod, once more studying the plan.

"Do you have anything to you want to add? I've opened the discussion to suggestions," she smiled.

"That is something I wish we could do, Isabella, however, as Max says, we won't know for a while how many staff we'll have come the actual tournament.So for now I suggest we stick with the amount of teams I've listed and adjust accordingly closer to the time."

Smiling she walked over to the wall that housed the plan and stuck another piece of parchment next to it for notes.With a flick of her wand, a quill shot over and started scribbling what they had just been talking about.A work in progess....

He sqruibbled down what olivia put on the wall next to the map out of the stadium. "Ummm..." he felt rather stupid "Could you quickly recap the spell we might need, before we go on to our responsibilities." He asked politely then put his head down as if to write more but to hide his emmbarresment.

Isabella nodded. No matter how many times her potions teacher will say she's brilliant in his recommendation, the potions still need to be approved. "Actually, I talked about it with Mr Lee in his office today." she admitted. "He asked me if I can make some first aid potions and cleaning potions, but first he wanted me to discus it with you."

Callie listened along, quietly because she was scrawling notes on the parchemnt, every so often straightening it up along her elbow line. DID YOU KNOW, you could fit your foot there. FREEEAKKKY.

"I'd be one. I'd rather seem helpful than sit back and do nothing really." She piped quickly, hand still scrawling.

Olivia beamed as Isabella confessed to already asking Brian."Well in that case go right ahead and start brewing! If it's fine by him, it's fine by me," she grinned approvingly. "Just make sure to bring a sample of each potion you brew in for us to test when they're done."

As there will be about 10 teams altogether I hope we soon get more people,otherwise we shall all have to double up and take an inside and outside area, which is not exactly ideal but....." she trailed off, once more scanning the plan on the wall and twiddling her fingers in her lap. "Anyway sorting out my first two leaders is definately a good start!"

Clapping her hands together, Olivia stood up and made her way back to the plan, pointer in hand again. "Now," she began, flicking it at the red dots, "as you can see each team will be spaced out so we cover roughly the same amount of space.A team at each end behind the goals, one by the locker rooms and one by the top box.Each team will be responsible for about a quarter of the stadium, working their way around in a clockwise direction until they reach the start point of the next team.Did that make sense?" It did in her head when she planned it out, but now as she said it, and watched their faces, she wasn't so sure.Hopefully they would understand. "Anyway, I was going to take charge of the team by the top box, and I am open to whichever areas you want to cover with yours," she smiled, reaching forward and pouring herself a glass of water from the jug on the table.

He looked at olivia then back at the large version of the layout to his own. "I think it makes sense. So we work clockwise from Point A to point B which will be Point A for the next team, Right?" He sqruibbled how the areas work. Then sqruibbled down the word "Leaders" in large letters, then put down Olivia's, Callie's, and his own name. Putting next to Olivias name "Top box" then looked back at the layout of the stadium. "Awww, shes too fast for me" He said looking at Isabella with with a bit of annoyence, but it didn't last. Then straightened up and said "I guess I could do one of the goal posts" Then wrote next to his name "Goal post.". And between each name left room for members of their team. so he was ready for When ever they were going to be assigned.

The fact that Isabella answered so quickly actually made her jump, not helped by the fact she wasn't looking at her at the time.Turning to face her, she smiled and nodded. "Locker rooms it is for you then! Which would mean you work around to the start of team....which is it? Oh yes..4.My team will be number 1, the goalposts will be 2 and 4 and you," she smiled again at Bella, "will be group 3.I think numbering them will make it easier when we communicate from distance.Do you have a preference for ends, Max? Or shall I put you down for either?"

Flicking her wand up at the notes on the wall, Olivia proceeded to add more to them.

Unless you want us out side, before the game, and inside during. hopefully we'll have enough members by the time of the world cup. But say we don't what happens...I mean what would our back up plan be?" The abruptly fell silent. waiting for her answer, his quill in his hand ready to take more notes

Ah yes, the snag of not enough staff to cover all the teams has reared it's head.Olivia's face came over serious, and she took another sip of water from the glass in her left hand.Clearing her throat she then answered the question... "Well that is the problem," she agreed, nodding towards Max. "We currently don't have enough staff for all the teams, and we don't know when or if we'll get enough." Walking over to the table, she flicked the next page of her notes and once more pulled her chair out and sat in it. "You have come up with a very good suggestion, actually," she smiled warmly at Max. "The teams we already have working outside first to clear it, and once that's done to move inside.Yes...I would say that is our back-up plan.But hopefully we won't have to double up like that, it will be alot of work already...." It was asking alot of them to fix and clean in two seperate places at practically the same time, but it couldn't be helped.If the situation arose they would all just have to put up with it. "For now each inside team will be responsible for the area outside that corresponds to their part of the stadium.... i.e I will be behind the top box and around there.Understood?" She gave them all a warm, before tidying her notes and placing them next to the smaller version of the plan.
