Hey, my name's Jess. This is my first fan fiction ever and the characters, as well as the Harry Potter universe, belong to J.K. Rowling. This story has violence, drama, and jealousy packed into tons of chapters. Please read, review, and tell me what you think of it!

*Beep* *Beep* *Beep* I looked over to my alarm clock. "Oh no! It’s 7:00 P.M! I need to hurry!" I said panicked. I slipped on my fuzzy blue slippers and went to get my suitcase. I looked over my dresses to see if I should bring one for the ball this upcoming winter. If only Ron could take me this year.

I picked up the picture frame that Harry gave me for my birthday this year - it showed Harry, Ron and I standing in front of the Hogwarts train ready to leave. I have tears in my eyes and Ron keeps wiping them off. Oh, and of course Harry is just laughing at us. I skimmed over my dresser and saw the diamond necklace Ron gave me for my birthday. Oh, how I wish he would kiss me.

*Meow* *Meow* *Meow* "Oh! Crookshanks, I’m so sorry!" I said sounding suprised. I put Crookshanks into his bag, gave him a kitty treat and headed out my bedroom door. I said goodbye to my family and headed off to the train station.

Wow! It was so crowded this year. How am I ever going to find Ron and Harry? "Hermione!" said Ron. Oh, look there’s Ron. "Hello Ronald!" I said. "How was your Christmas with your family and Harry?" I asked.

"Oh good, how was yours Hermione?" Ron asked sighing. "Swell! I got a photo of you, me and Harry in front of the Hogwarts train. Of course a diamond necklace from someone special." I said curiously. He turned the darkest shade of scarlet I’ve ever seen in my life.

"I knew you would like it." Ron said blushing furiously. "Yes I absolutely do!" I sounded excited. I gave him a big hug and kissed him on the cheek. "Am I interrupting something?" said Harry interrupting. I blushed.

"Hello Harry, Ron here was just saying that he had a bruise on his cheek so I kissed it to make it better." I said pointing to his cheek. "Oh well that makes perfect sense Hermione, now that’s weird I don’t see the bruise anymore." Harry said but not suprised. Ron and I blushed pink. We all then went to sit in our compartment.

As we walked into the compartment we saw Cho and Ginny walking past our compartment. They were arguing about something I'll probably get to hear the whole story when I get into the common room. Then I started giggling. "What are you laughing about?" Asked a confused Harry. "Oh, nothing just thinking about something," I said with some difficulty.

"I've always wondered what's going on in that head of your's, Hermione," said Ron who was kind of blushing. "Why would you like to know Ron?" I asked kind of confused. He blushed but shook his head. I hope that meant that he liked me.

But I doubt it he seemed to have his eye on Lavender Brown. The girl from last year. Ugh, how much I hate her. My hands tightened into fists. The train started to slowed down to a stop. We must be at Hogwarts.

I was just about to get up and take the cage Crookshanks was in, but as I went down to get it, my hand brushed against Ron's. For a second, which felt like hours, we stared into each others eyes. Until he finally said, "Is it okay if I carry Crookshanks, Hermione?" "Oh sure Ron, thank you." I probably looked really red in the face but I didn't care. It seemed so romantic even though Ron probably didn't mean to touch my hand it still seemed like it.

We arrived at Hogwarts, set down our luggage, and went into the common room. The first person I saw was Ginny. She had tons of tears in her eyes. She came and hugged me really hard. Ron and Harry followed behind me.

Ginny stared into my eyes and I could tell she just wanted to have some privacy with me. I bet it was about Harry. "Harry, Ron could you please give me and Ginny a little privacy?" I asked pleadingly. Harry left but Ron didn't. He just kept staring at me.

"Ron please." I said. "Why can't I know Hermione?" Ron said. "I'll make it up to you later Ron okay?" I said. He blushed but nodded and left. That's when this whole story about Ginny and Cho started. Ginny started out saying,"I was walking down to my compartment when Cho came up to me and said,"Ginny just forget about it you'll never get Harry, yeah I've seen you've got your eye on him but you'll never have him, he's mine!"

Ginny started to cry, I held her tightly. Then I started," Ginny don't worry the Yule Ball is in a month, I bet Harry will ask you, you just have to let him know you like him, try flirting I think that works, well it doesn't when I want Ron to like me but he's always around Lavender. Ughhh." "Oh Hermione thank you! I have so much confidence now, and you should know Ron loves you." "Well then why is he Lavender's boyfriend?" I said with agony.

"It's probably cause he wants to make you jealous, Hermione." said Ginny confidently. "Then I will make him just as jealous." "At least he hasn't kissed Lavender yet," I said hopefully. "Yeah don't worry Hermione, you'll have him now or then." said Ginny. "Thanks" I said weary. I then hugged her and headed off to the Great Hall for dinner. Well two can play at that game.

I was walking down the halls when I saw Draco alone. I bet he just finished eating. I walked by and had a plan. I ran back to him. Then it started. "Hey Draco, would you be my boyfriend?" I asked faintly.

The 20th Anniversary!

Chapter 20

All I could see was the candle in the distance and Ron. I heard the murmuring of voices come down into the basement of Malfoy Manor.

I was scared and all I could think about was how I could be killed this very instant. I took Ron's hand in my own and he smiled at me the best he could. I could tell he was nervous too.

"Ron do you think we are going to be okay?" I asked.

Ron scooted closer and hugged me, "I don't know 'Mione, but we will get through this together."

"Do you have any idea where my parents would be?" I asked.

He looked into my eyes and said, "Well I would've thought they would be down here with us, but apparently not. I don't know 'Mione. I'm sure they are okay."

I kissed him on the cheek and looked ahead into the darkness before us.

The lights finally turned on but it was too bright that I couldn't see the person in front of me, just the shadow.

"Get up mudblood!" He roared.

I knew that voice from somewhere but who was it? I looked at Ron when I stood up but his gaze was directed to the person before both of us. I could see in Ron's eyes pure hate, jealousy, anger, and fear. Who was it though?

"Will you obey to every one of the dark lord's orders?" The person asked.

"No." I said.

The person laughed and yelled, "Crucio!"

I fell to the ground in agony with the pain writhing all through my body. It hurt so much. I could see Ron's eyes looking at me, he was crying, but he couldn't do anything to stop it and both of us knew it.

The curse finally lifted from my body and the voice yelled, "Get up now both of you!"

I then heard some footsteps and a laugh that made me shiver. I saw that there was another person stationed next to the other one who just tortured me.

"You shouldn't have started that without me Viktor, I wanted to see. Then again it won't hurt again." The voice said.

I felt like my eyes would bulge right out of there sockets as I heard the voices. There they were by each other Viktor Krum and Bellatrix Lestrange. That's why Ron's eyes were like that. It was all because of Viktor.

I know that Viktor is under the imperius curse but it just scares me to see him like this. Torturing me.

Right before I was to be tortured again I whispered to Ron, "I don't love him. I never did, I..erm..I just wanted to make you jealous. I'm truly sorry Ron."

He grabbed my hand and squeezed it reassuring me that it was okay. I took a deep breath and prepared myself for the next curse.

Chapter 21

I could finally see through the blinding lights and saw Bellatrix pointing her wand at me.

"Crucio!" She said.

As I was writhing in pain once again I saw Viktor point his wand at Ron and shout, "Crucio!"

Ron then fell to the ground in the same pain as me but I took his hand to reassure him that we will be okay. I was glad when I felt him squeeze my hand back when we were both in the same pain. The curses finally lifted and we gasped for air.

"In an hour you will be in the dark lord's presence. We will come fetch you filth in 30 minutes. Be prepared." Viktor said glaring at us.

I looked at Ron and saw him wanting to punch Viktor's face in. I put my hand on his shoulder and he sighed.

Viktor and Bellatrix finally left us in the silent darkness.

"'Mione, What did you mean?" Ron whispered.

"By what Ron?" I asked.

"When you meant that you wanted to make me jealous. Who did you use to make me jealous? Was it Viktor, Cormac, Draco, or all of them?" Ron asked looking pleadingly in my eyes.

"Erm...uhh..." I said looking down at my feet.

I wasn't sure of my feelings anymore. It was all too hard to explain, but I couldn't tell that to Ron. Could I? Probably not.

"Hermione?" Ron asked.

"I'm not really sure Ron. Especially with all of this going on. When I know I will tell you as soon as possible." I said sighing.

He nodded his head and turned over on his arm laying down. I saw him wince and turn to the other arm. His arm had a huge bruise on it. The colors were mesmerizing to me.

Black, purple, and blue. Pretty colors but not pretty when you see them from a bruise. Ron was closing his eyes and I muttered a spell wandlessly, that I learned from Harry in the D.A., which made the bruise fade away.

Ron opened his eyes and took my hand, "Thank you 'Mione. Wake me up before they come back down please."

"Okay I will." I said.

He closed his eyes and probably fell into a blissful sleep. Oh but I don't know how he does it. We are in the basement of Malfoy Manor and Voldemort is about to come and kill us.

When is help going to come? I thought looking into the silence of the darkness and listening to the noises from above.

Chapter 22

Harry's POV

Today was amazing. I love Valentine's Day so much! I got to spend my whole day with Ginny.

Flashback

I watched Hermione with curiousity filling my head. Where was she going? I saw she got a box but what was it filled with?

My thoughts were quickly vanished though by a stunning beauty heading towards me smiling.

Ginny.

"Harry, can you meet me in the Room of Requirement in 10 minutes?" She asked.

I nodded my head and finished eating. I went into the boys dormitory to check if I needed to look any better then I already was.

I smirked to myself which probably couldn't even compare to Malfoy's smirk and I went to the Room of Requirement.

I was almost there but I could see Filch studying the wall which hid the Room of Requirement. After 2 years you would think that he would've figured how to use it but he didn't. Us 6th years can be smarter then a silly old caretaker, how absurd, but it's so true.

I hid behind the corridor watching Filch's every move. He started knocking on it. Then he was saying those muggle sayings like, abra cadabra or open sesame!

It definetly wasn't working of course. I had to hold my laughter in as he started to talk to the wall. I learned some strange secrets too and some scary ones.

For example he said that he loved Umbridge! Now that is even more absurd! Also that he hated kids. No wonder he loves Umbridge, they would be perfect together! Well I guess not anymore since she died because she didn't follow Voldemort's orders. Oh well!

Filch finally left and I walked three times by the door muttering, "I need a place that I can stay with Ginny, I need a place that I can stay with Ginny, I need a place I can stay with Ginny."

The door finally appeared and I walked in. It looked almost like the Gryffindor Common Room but there were no stairs leading up to the girls and boys dormitories.

There were more couches and a table with butterbeer on it. There were also some food on the table. I didn't think I asked for all of this.

I then saw darkness, someones hands were over my eyes. Before I could react the person kissed me full on the mouth.

We parted and I opened my eyes to find that stunning beauty once again.

Ginny.

She smiled at me and said, "Would you like to join me?"

I nodded my head probably still with my mouth open.

"Catching flies Harry?" Ginny asked.

I chuckled and closed my mouth. I walked over to the couch and sat next to her.

"Happy Valentine's Day Gin." I said kissing her on the cheek.

She smiled at me and we started to eat.

We finished eating and we took a walk outside of the castle. It was dark but not too dark and It was good that the curfew was in 2 hours. We walked hand in hand and a thought came across my mind.

"Ginny? What did Dean need you for at breakfast?" I asked her.

"Oh..erm..well he asked me out..and ...and I said no. Well we were together all of 5th year but now that we are 6th years we just drifted apart." Ginny said looking down at her feet as we walked.

"Ginny, don't be sad. I'm not mad, I love you so much." I said.

I just realized what I said and I gasped, "Ginny, oh I'm sorry. It just sort of slipped out."

She bit her lip and ran towards me enveloping me in a kiss.

Though I enjoyed chapter 20 the most.
