Hey, my name's Jess. This is my first fan fiction ever and the characters, as well as the Harry Potter universe, belong to J.K. Rowling. This story has violence, drama, and jealousy packed into tons of chapters. Please read, review, and tell me what you think of it!

*Beep* *Beep* *Beep* I looked over to my alarm clock. "Oh no! It’s 7:00 P.M! I need to hurry!" I said panicked. I slipped on my fuzzy blue slippers and went to get my suitcase. I looked over my dresses to see if I should bring one for the ball this upcoming winter. If only Ron could take me this year.

I picked up the picture frame that Harry gave me for my birthday this year - it showed Harry, Ron and I standing in front of the Hogwarts train ready to leave. I have tears in my eyes and Ron keeps wiping them off. Oh, and of course Harry is just laughing at us. I skimmed over my dresser and saw the diamond necklace Ron gave me for my birthday. Oh, how I wish he would kiss me.

*Meow* *Meow* *Meow* "Oh! Crookshanks, I’m so sorry!" I said sounding suprised. I put Crookshanks into his bag, gave him a kitty treat and headed out my bedroom door. I said goodbye to my family and headed off to the train station.

Wow! It was so crowded this year. How am I ever going to find Ron and Harry? "Hermione!" said Ron. Oh, look there’s Ron. "Hello Ronald!" I said. "How was your Christmas with your family and Harry?" I asked.

"Oh good, how was yours Hermione?" Ron asked sighing. "Swell! I got a photo of you, me and Harry in front of the Hogwarts train. Of course a diamond necklace from someone special." I said curiously. He turned the darkest shade of scarlet I’ve ever seen in my life.

"I knew you would like it." Ron said blushing furiously. "Yes I absolutely do!" I sounded excited. I gave him a big hug and kissed him on the cheek. "Am I interrupting something?" said Harry interrupting. I blushed.

"Hello Harry, Ron here was just saying that he had a bruise on his cheek so I kissed it to make it better." I said pointing to his cheek. "Oh well that makes perfect sense Hermione, now that’s weird I don’t see the bruise anymore." Harry said but not suprised. Ron and I blushed pink. We all then went to sit in our compartment.

As we walked into the compartment we saw Cho and Ginny walking past our compartment. They were arguing about something I'll probably get to hear the whole story when I get into the common room. Then I started giggling. "What are you laughing about?" Asked a confused Harry. "Oh, nothing just thinking about something," I said with some difficulty.

"I've always wondered what's going on in that head of your's, Hermione," said Ron who was kind of blushing. "Why would you like to know Ron?" I asked kind of confused. He blushed but shook his head. I hope that meant that he liked me.

But I doubt it he seemed to have his eye on Lavender Brown. The girl from last year. Ugh, how much I hate her. My hands tightened into fists. The train started to slowed down to a stop. We must be at Hogwarts.

I was just about to get up and take the cage Crookshanks was in, but as I went down to get it, my hand brushed against Ron's. For a second, which felt like hours, we stared into each others eyes. Until he finally said, "Is it okay if I carry Crookshanks, Hermione?" "Oh sure Ron, thank you." I probably looked really red in the face but I didn't care. It seemed so romantic even though Ron probably didn't mean to touch my hand it still seemed like it.

We arrived at Hogwarts, set down our luggage, and went into the common room. The first person I saw was Ginny. She had tons of tears in her eyes. She came and hugged me really hard. Ron and Harry followed behind me.

Ginny stared into my eyes and I could tell she just wanted to have some privacy with me. I bet it was about Harry. "Harry, Ron could you please give me and Ginny a little privacy?" I asked pleadingly. Harry left but Ron didn't. He just kept staring at me.

"Ron please." I said. "Why can't I know Hermione?" Ron said. "I'll make it up to you later Ron okay?" I said. He blushed but nodded and left. That's when this whole story about Ginny and Cho started. Ginny started out saying,"I was walking down to my compartment when Cho came up to me and said,"Ginny just forget about it you'll never get Harry, yeah I've seen you've got your eye on him but you'll never have him, he's mine!"

Ginny started to cry, I held her tightly. Then I started," Ginny don't worry the Yule Ball is in a month, I bet Harry will ask you, you just have to let him know you like him, try flirting I think that works, well it doesn't when I want Ron to like me but he's always around Lavender. Ughhh." "Oh Hermione thank you! I have so much confidence now, and you should know Ron loves you." "Well then why is he Lavender's boyfriend?" I said with agony.

"It's probably cause he wants to make you jealous, Hermione." said Ginny confidently. "Then I will make him just as jealous." "At least he hasn't kissed Lavender yet," I said hopefully. "Yeah don't worry Hermione, you'll have him now or then." said Ginny. "Thanks" I said weary. I then hugged her and headed off to the Great Hall for dinner. Well two can play at that game.

I was walking down the halls when I saw Draco alone. I bet he just finished eating. I walked by and had a plan. I ran back to him. Then it started. "Hey Draco, would you be my boyfriend?" I asked faintly.

I think its Draco. I dont know how he got in, but i still think its him. Why else would Ginny look pale?

Good point, I did think of that ... but it could have even been Ron. Ginny looked pale because Ron came all of a sudden when Hermione was shouting she didn't love Draco. So he would know the truth won't he? But Draco is also a good guess.

yea but then again, it might not be Ron or Draco, because boys can't go up the stairs leading to the girls dorm.

Okay everybody here's a hint so it will make it a little easier, well im not sure if it would be a actual hint but yeah anyways...

lets just say that in my story guys can come into the girls dorm and boys can come into the boys dorm okay? i think that will make it easier

@ hermione9495: well coming to think of what you said. Boys aren't allowed at girls dormitory but how come Cho comes into Gryffindor house's dormitory when she is from Ravenclaw. and Draco has already entered Gryffie common room before I guess. Maybe that way, rules changed, boys are allowed in girls dormitory. But Jess has already answered our question

okay then lets say that boys are allowed in girls dorms and girls are allowed in boys dorms and people from other houses are allowed in other peoples common rooms but not dorms

so cho can't come into the dorm so cross her out
but remember that draco can come into any dorm he wants well because hes DRACO MALFOY of course!! haha
lavender is already in the girls dorm well not already but saying that she lives there
then harry and ron can come in so i guess the updated list could be like this

Draco Malfoy

Ron Weasley

Lavender Brown

Harry Potter

Come on, the person being Draco then makes much sense ... It could also be Ron as both of them are involved, either of them's coming in would be perfect match for the last scene. But Harry? Chapter 10

LAVENDER BROWN. "How much of the conversation did you hear Lavender?" I asked worried. She smirked and said,"Enough to have information to tell MY BOYFRIEND and Draco." I bit my lip to feel the salty taste in my mouth, blood. I was that worred. "Please Lavender don't say anything! Please don't!" I said. "Why shouldn't I? You've been trying to get MY BOYFRIEND for years! But now you have Draco, I've heard he's a great kisser so why would you dump him for Ron? Oh never mind, I already know! You were just trying to use him to make Ron jealous!" Lavender said. I blushed angrily. "GET OUT NOW LAVENDER NOW!!! THIS IS NONE OF YOUR BUISINESS, YOU KNOW IF YOU TRY/SAY ANYTHING I WILL HEX YOU INTO OBLIVION!!" screamed Hermione.

Putting a hand on my shoulder, Ginny said,"I would go Lavender,now, she's not lying she will seriously do that." Lavender looked scared but smirked. She turned on her heal, flicked her hair and walked out of the common room door. I collapsed. Right when I collapsed there was Ron. I rubbed my eyes, to see that Ginny had walked out. He was staring at me with a determined face."Hermione can I speak to you for a minute". Ron asked. I nodded and held my arms out to him.

He seemed to get what I wanted after a while and grabbed hold of me and brought me up to him. We were very close. Too close. He broke the silence, took my hand and led me to the sofa. I was wondering if he had heard what we were talking/screaming/yelling about. "Hermione is it true?" he asked. Shoot! He had heard, but I'm gonna play it safe. I hope this works. "What is true, Ron?" I asked trying to look confused. "About the argument you had with Lavender, yes I had heard." he said.

I felt puzzled of what to say next. But he started again,"Hermione, I know you probably don't want to answer this now but I would like you to meet me tonight at the Astronomy Tower @ 9:00 P.M. Please do come Hermione. I promise no one else will come." He said kissing my hand and smiling. I tried my very best to smile but I think it came out as a grimace. He looked sad as he waited for my answer but then I nodded. "Meet you there 'Mione" I actually smiled that time but tons of things were going through my head.

I went up to my bed to get dressed for the day, but I heard a knock at the window. There was a beautiful owl with big green eyes and white and brown wings. It was holding a letter. I opened it and it said...

Dearest Hermione,

I'm not sure I'm up to it to meet you in Hogsmede today. But I would sure like to meet you sometime today, since we don't have any classes. I hope I didn't scare you off from what I said last night. I truly meant it, I hope you feel the same way but I will give you time love.

New reader,
Please post more,
Am i have an idea for chapter 11,
Ginny could feel really guilty about what happend with Cho!
Ginnys stays in bed all day and Hermione feels really bad for her,
Hermione then tells Harry cause Harry wants to know why shes not coming!
Hermione then over hears Harry and Cho having a row over it,
and trys to convince Ginny,Ginny dosnt belivie and so on...

UPDATE I finally got Chapter 11 done! It is UBER long! My hands hurt already! haha So keep reviewing and I'll post it up ASAP! I think this one will be ONE of my best. I hope!
