Setting:

2007 – It is the summer everyone is on vacation.
We're in a small village, Julie, situated between a two huge, high, Rocky Mountains range, there's only one dirt road out of town.
A small group of exploring wizards is visiting this wizard village; the villagers don't mind their company, as long as they don’t interfere in their lives.

A Short History:

The team of exploring wizards go into the mountains everyday, to search for an ancient relic that used to belong to the four founders of magic. The group consists of ten witches and wizards, all between the ages of 20-50.

Characters:

- Every single character will need a bio.
- There will be four main characters.
- If you are one of the four main characters; you cannot double.
- If you are one of the made-up's you may double-up!
-No super powers... I will allow some powers if you will share the idea with me first.

Plot:

Isolated, the group have become very close. Ray James Hufflepuff and Kelly are 'best friends', as are Charlie Storms and Bianca Riches.
The four live in one of the houses, newly built, at the edge of Julie, a French village.

One night, a village meeting is held, and as the wizards and witches have been living in the village for a couple of years, the villagers ask them to come. A man had been found, dead in his house, with no mark on him, he had not been shot, poisoned, suffocated, stabbed or hung, in fact he was perfectly healthy, apart from the fact he was dead. The muggles police force have no idea how this could have happened, they are all baffled. The witches and wizards know otherwise, they can't help the muggles, because otherwise they'd have broken the International Statute of Secrecy. They do not know who killed the wizard and his family, until one day, when high up in the mountains, fifteen Dark Wizards are found searching for the same artifact the group of wizards are looking for. Who will arrive first to discover the artifact? What can this artifact do? Who will die in this quest? And what will our heroes figure out in this journey that will change their lives for ever?

Personality: Known to always listen to others before he makes any step, he has gained the position of Captain on the team. He is known to be very loyal and protective. He depends on his sister Kelly too much because he trusts her a lot.
Extra: Ray is the last descendant of Helga Hufflepuff. When he was young, he was taught how to tap into the Hufflepuff magic which allows him to use very experienced magic before wiping him entirely.
Ray’s family was killed when he was ten year old by Dark wizards that dreamed of gaining the Hufflepuff magic.
Last, Ray agreed to go on this journey after his chief ordered him to do so.

Appearance: Beautiful girl which sends fibs of power and strength, people always notice her long silky platine blond hair. She usually wears a pair of Jeans and a nice blouse. When it’s cold, she puts her silky black robe on top of her casual close.
Personality: Known to have a very kind persona however she forgets her kindness when she is angry. She is one of the smartest on the team and always has answers when it comes to magical items.
Extra: Kelly’s past is kind of flu, she can’t remember anything of her past, all she can remember is that she was raised by a muggle family when she was nine; before that it is all blank.
Kelly’s a graduate with full GPA and she is very well known to have answers to any question.
Last Kelly accepted the mission after she knew what she was after. She is the only person on the team that knows what they are searching for.

Appearance: Conan is the typical japanese wizard... He is always dressed as his ancestor... His old face shows a lot of wrikles which give him a very old look... Usually everyone fears him and never argue with him... But at the same time everyone feels confort around him... He is known to be Ray's right hand
Personality: Conan has a very strong personality and is one of the best theorician in the world... He was one of the few people who discovered the reality about Ravenclaw secrets... He made a couple of theories about the birth of magic and he takes good pride in his work.

Returning back to her room, Kelly noticed that someone seemed to be waiting near her door, she accelerated and was surprised by Ray's figure.
"Yes Ray can I help you in anything?" She asked hoping that Ray would just negate and go back to his room.

I have done that in the couple hours because if you were in constant conversation with Jean I think you would be in big danger and being Head-auror in this team... It is my job to keep you safe... Kelly looked Ray surprised by his answer. Did he really have informations that she did know off? Or was he just pretending all of this so he could have a chat with Kelly? Question started raising in Kelly's mind like an ravaging fire.
"Okey come in!" She said as she opened her door and waved her wand to illuminate the whole room, after Ray entered she flicked her wand and then muttered "Muffliato!"
"So what is it that you know about all of this that I don't know of?" Kelly asked curious to know Ray's answer.

She told me that it came in the form of an evil and forbidden magic, something that might surpass the unforgivable curses... And because of it an object was created to contain it... and only the four founders could use that object.. Kelly listened as Ray explained what his grandmother told him about the other version of the begining of magic, could what he told her be true? Could it be that this object was the keeper of the dark side of magic.
"Okey Ray I will search on the subject and I will get back to you... Now I need to sleep we will talk to later... And Ray I'm sorry about the thing this morning I was just tired..." Kelly apologised while looking at Ray that stopped at the door.

"Don't worry about it... We all have been tired... And because you have been close to him I understand you being the most in pain." Ray said as he smiled.
"I apologise as well for being so bossy but I guess all those events just waked me up to take my position as head-auror..." Ray finished as he opened the door and exit the room heading straight to his room.

Once there, he made all the preparation he needed for the expidition, he packed cloth and boots, he charmed his bag with an undetectable expanding charm and stucked some book, some anti-dark magic tools and place his grandmother picture in his outside pocket. He moved towards his bed and feel asleep as soon as his head touched the smooth pillows.

Conan woke up peacefully at 5:00 in the morning like he usually did. He never was a late sleeper. He yawned and stretched, and then got out of bed. Conjuring up a cup of coffee, he walked to his window and looked at the beautiful scenery. The mountains were so magnificent here, he just couldn't help but stare in awe. Once he had finished his coffee, he shook his head and turned to get dressed. Today he wore clothes more fit for climbing. He didn't want to ruin any of his other clothes, after all. He took his pack, placed a spell on the bag to make it light, and walked down to the kitchen. There, he took out another of his favorite history books, and began to read.

Bianca tossed and turned, she had a rough night. Her dreams frightened her. Finally about 5 am she gave up on sleep, dressed in her favorite old pair of jeans, hiking boots and a comfy sweatshirt, she picked up her leather jacket and the bsckpack that she had made larger on the inside, she had packed clothes, her books, Ray's pocture and several other things including a put-outer. She made the backpack light and carried it and her jacket down to the kitchen. She laid her things next to the counter, when she looked up she saw Conan sitting there. "Good morning, I thought I was the only one up." She said while quickly pulling her hair back into a ponytail. "I'm going to make myself a little breakfast, want anything?"

Kelly slept well that evening, the dreams she kept on seeing for the past couple of nights had all faded away. When she got up it was around 5:00 in the morning. Having already packed her stuff, she added some sweatshirts and and took out her leather jacket before casting a spell to make the bag lighter.
When she arrived to the kitchen, she was surprised that two members were already up and having breakfast. Conjuring a cup of coffee, she sat down.
"Good morning guys, sorry for the early time, but I decided that at this time, the villagers wouldn't be awake and follow us... Not forgetting that we need all the time we need... The trip to "Le Petit" will take a minimum two days and we can't apparate and disapparate because the mountain is well known to attract muggles and we don't want the ministry on our tails..." Kelly explained while drinking her coffee. She needed to wait for the rest of the team before she gives the big speech.

Katy walked into the kitchen, looking like death warmed over. After her reading last night, she had drifted in and out of sleep, waking with a jerk each time. She kept dreaming of a battle; blurred shapes and flashes of green, red, and purple light. It was still too vague to make any sense of yet, but she had jotted down what she remembered in her dream journal anyway.

"Morning, everyone," Katy said, greeting the kitchen at large. "How did everyone sleep?" Better than me, I hope.

Ray woke up a bit tired but he was kind of late, the clock was now 5:40 and he needed to dress quickly.
Putting on his jeans and a black thick shirt, but he decided finally that a cotton sweatshirt will be fine as well. He casted a spell on his back to make it lighter and added the Hufflepuff book of magic.
All set he thought to himself and left his home locking his door with magical protection.
Down in the kitchen, Conan, Kelly, Katy, and Bianca were already up, he placed a kiss on Bianca's chick as he took from her hands a plate of eggs.
"Hi honey! Hey everyone I hope you all slept fine." He said as he sat next to Kelly. He looked at Katy and noticed that something had changed in her once cheerful face.
Maybe it's just my imagination he thought as he begun eating his breakfast. Yeah it must be
"Kelly I decided yesterday that everyone should pair up with someone for more safety maybe we can add around the camp place some enchantements... You know take the maximum precaution?" He said in an asking tone.

Steve woke up, and sat up in his bed, reaching for his cigarretes. He drew his hand back though, thinking that he may as well try and give up. Again.

He threw on some clothes and staggered tiredly downstairs.

Nicole groaned as she rolled out of bed, she hadn't slept well at all. She hastily dressed in the clothes she had left at the end of her bed the night before; it paid to be organized sometimes. She pulled on a pair of dark jeans and a long black sleeved shirt. She quickly tucked her wand in her back pocket before sweeping her long violet hair up into a ponytail. Her unruley side bangs flopped down on her face, not wanting to stay tucked behind her ear. She quickly threw on a bit of makeup and then scoldded herself, what was the point or need anyway. Within fifteen minutes she was heading down the stairs into the kitchen. She headed over to the table and sat down, noticing that several others were already there.

Bianca sighed, "Not so well. I really could have used one of your sleeping potions, but you were so busy, I didn't want to bother you." She told him as she ate a bite of her eggs and cheese.

"Well you know that I usually hide them in my potion set, you could have taken one.." Ray replied as he finished his plate and magicaly cleaning it.
He looked around and noticed that there were only three persons left, Charlie, Eve and Edward.
I think we are going to be late he said as he flicked his wand and three wooden hand appeared and flew to the upper part of the house knocking on each of the missing team mates

Kelly stood up when she noticed that everyone was now present.
"Ok, here is what will happen, I decided to follow Ray's method and pair the team up each one of you have received a note with names of the teams... Next we will take every precaution to not get in contact with any dark wizards, if we do please those who are not auror or don't have a good experience with duelling just try to find the best way to protect yourself...
For the other part, as we know "Le Petit" is a mountain that attract a lot of muggles, not to forget the couple of muggle villages there... Be careful when it comes to use our magic, we can't afford the ministry on our tails... We will not apparate to the mountain as well so the trip will take almost a day if we move now we can arrive to our first destination by tomorrow noon... I hope you have packed all the essentials you need...
Finally, I have been informed yesterday night on a new information... Before I reveal it to you I need to investigate it's validity... If valid I will inform you and start taking your opinions on the subject...
Now that this is said I guess we can pursue our adventure" Kelly finished while walking to the door and opening it.
She was the first to step outside, the sun began it ascending, the village didn't show any significant movement and the road leading to the mountain was calming, I hope everything works out after all, Kelly thought to herself as her team followed her.

Bianca Shrugged into her leather Jacket, It was too big for her but comfy. She picked up er backpack before Ray could do it for her. She looked up at him and smiled. "Are you ready?" She asked him as she shouldered her backpack and slid her wand in the Holder he had made for her.

Ray walked out behind Kelly, he stopped behind her and looked at Charlie as he passed near him and stand next to Kelly. Bianca was now standing on his left side and holding his hand, behind them the team paired up and waited for Kelly to move.
For the first half hour, Ray noticed that the trip was going great, they hadn't stopped moving since they left the housem the team spirit seemed to be high and everyone was doing just fine.
They arrived at the base of the moutain about six hour later, the sun had disappeared. Ray had called Kelly and decided to place a camp site at the base of the mountain. After erecting five tents, Ray placed each pair in one and started circling around the camp site raising defense spells after defensive spells and putting repeling muggles spells around the camp. He asked Steven to cast some of his parseltongue defensive spells and asked Nicole and Charlie and Eve to be the first night patrols.
At seven O'clock and after a small dinner, Ray entered Kelly's tent, she was writing a note to Kami and another one for Katy, and sent them by magical ways.
"SO?" he asked after Kelly stretched and yawned. "Anything new about the object?"

Bianca sat next to the campfire outside their tent, It had been a really long day and she was tired, but she wanted to spend some time with Ray before she went to sleep. She sat at the fire, warming her hands and sipping a hot mug of tea. Looking up in the sky she felt very small.
