Setting:

2007 – It is the summer everyone is on vacation.
We're in a small village, Julie, situated between a two huge, high, Rocky Mountains range, there's only one dirt road out of town.
A small group of exploring wizards is visiting this wizard village; the villagers don't mind their company, as long as they don’t interfere in their lives.

A Short History:

The team of exploring wizards go into the mountains everyday, to search for an ancient relic that used to belong to the four founders of magic. The group consists of ten witches and wizards, all between the ages of 20-50.

Characters:

- Every single character will need a bio.
- There will be four main characters.
- If you are one of the four main characters; you cannot double.
- If you are one of the made-up's you may double-up!
-No super powers... I will allow some powers if you will share the idea with me first.

Plot:

Isolated, the group have become very close. Ray James Hufflepuff and Kelly are 'best friends', as are Charlie Storms and Bianca Riches.
The four live in one of the houses, newly built, at the edge of Julie, a French village.

One night, a village meeting is held, and as the wizards and witches have been living in the village for a couple of years, the villagers ask them to come. A man had been found, dead in his house, with no mark on him, he had not been shot, poisoned, suffocated, stabbed or hung, in fact he was perfectly healthy, apart from the fact he was dead. The muggles police force have no idea how this could have happened, they are all baffled. The witches and wizards know otherwise, they can't help the muggles, because otherwise they'd have broken the International Statute of Secrecy. They do not know who killed the wizard and his family, until one day, when high up in the mountains, fifteen Dark Wizards are found searching for the same artifact the group of wizards are looking for. Who will arrive first to discover the artifact? What can this artifact do? Who will die in this quest? And what will our heroes figure out in this journey that will change their lives for ever?

Extra: Ray is the last descendant of Helga Hufflepuff. When he was young, he was taught how to tap into the Hufflepuff magic which allows him to use very experienced magic before wiping him entirely.
Ray’s family was killed when he was ten year old by Dark wizards that dreamed of gaining the Hufflepuff magic.
Last, Ray agreed to go on this journey after his chief ordered him to do so.

Appearance: Beautiful girl which sends fibs of power and strength, people always notice her long silky platine blond hair. She usually wears a pair of Jeans and a nice blouse. When it’s cold, she puts her silky black robe on top of her casual close.
Personality: Known to have a very kind persona however she forgets her kindness when she is angry. She is one of the smartest on the team and always has answers when it comes to magical items.
Extra: Kelly’s past is kind of flu, she can’t remember anything of her past, all she can remember is that she was raised by a muggle family when she was nine; before that it is all blank.
Kelly’s a graduate with full GPA and she is very well known to have answers to any question.
Last Kelly accepted the mission after she knew what she was after. She is the only person on the team that knows what they are searching for.

Usually everyone fears him and never argue with him... But at the same time everyone feels confort around him... He is known to be Ray's right hand
Personality: Conan has a very strong personality and is one of the best theorician in the world... He was one of the few people who discovered the reality about Ravenclaw secrets... He made a couple of theories about the birth of magic and he takes good pride in his work.

Ray appeared on the stairs, Kelly and Bianca's screaming had woke him up, his wand in his hand, he flicked it and a big explosion seperated between them, sending each one of to a corner.
"STOP!!" he yelled as he walked down the stairs. "I thought I could have kept this discussion till tomorrow but I guess we should at least start with the initials right now... Kelly would you care to begin explaining or shall I explain everything on your behave... Yes I guess I should begin... It would be better if at least I can explain who is Feron? And what you had to do with him?

"Okey, here what I've concluded... Kelly works for Gringott's...But we know that it has been a while now that the upper hand in Gringott's has shifted... Feron works for the new power and he is after Kelly now that he is sure Jean is dead... After he showed him what to look for and where to find it? But Kelly made a mistake, a couple of nights before our departure on the mission, she promised Feron to never reveal a thing to anyone... Something that Kelly totaly disobeyed... But how did Feron know that Kelly disobeyed him?... Well, here comes the part where Edward and Eve get involved, you see Edward and Eve were both under the imperius curse, and helped Feron all the way, I noticed it when I gave Edward false directions to the cave's entrance. When we got there I felt as if someone was watching our every move... The same happened with Eve, but when I gave her orders to guard Kelly's tent, somehow she did the opposite and guarded Edward's tent... I knew that my use of the old magic would weaken my defenses and I proved it by letting everyone apparate back to the camp... Why did I do that... You may ask? I did it because I needed Feron to see me... Now that he knows I'm on the team, he will try to find the object for us... I think he discovered that the object had something to do with four founders... But what he misunderstood was that it wasn't Hogwarts four founders that were related to the object but the four founders of magic themself... Anyway, you all saw Feron's reaction when I appeared... He was sure that I would run and try to find the object for my use, and he is right I will find the object and try to use it...
Now for the other part of the theorem... I guess I will forbid Katy, Kami and Steven from mentionning it to anyone... Not before Kelly finds out the meanings of the symbols... So here what will do... Nicole and Steven go back to the camp, but before that let Bianca hide you from magical detection spells and eye sight... Find Eve and Edward bodies... If you don't come back here immediatly... You will all need the sleep for our first cave adventure..." Ray said as he walked back up to his room. "If you want to talk about what I told you do it quietly!!" He ordered as he disappeared in the upper level of the house.

Bianca turned from Kelly angrily and listened to Ray, eyes open wide. "Ok, so that explains a lot of it. But no mention of what the object is." She thought, still angry about it. Bianca took her wand and did the charms and incantations to hide Nicole and Steven. She followed Ray upstairs. "Honey, can I talk to you for a minute there are a few things I need to tell you." She said, ash she helped him into bed, then put an Imperturbable Charm on the door. "This is important. When you used your family's magic, all of a sudden my power came to life on it's own, and I've been hearing Kelly's thoughts all night. She's thinking of taking a book from you and going off by herself. She kept thinking the book of legends." Bianca sighed and sat beside him on the bed, her eyes filling with tears. "I am so sorry for what I said earlier tonight. When I saw you fall, I thought you were dead. I Love you so much and I was so scared." She cried softly.

I love you too and sorry for shouting and using my powers on you but sometimes it's hard or to control them I'm really sorry... I love you so much Bianca so much..." Ray said as he hugged Bianca.

Bianca nodded. "I'm not sure I want them to go to normal while we're on this mission." She said. "Maybe now I'll not be so useless." She smiled as Ray hugged her. "You scared me." She whispered. "I thought I had lost you. I thought my nightmares were coming true." She cried.

Kami sat down slowly. It was all too much to take in. Edward and Eve were dead. Dead. As in, they'd never come back. And poor Steven and Katy had to go find their bodies. Now, everyone was mad at each other, too. He wished he knew a spell that would calm people down. He didn't understand why Ray kept everything a secret still. What did it matter? Charlie, Steven, and Bianca were the only ones left who didn't know. They might be able to help. They had a right to know, after all. He got up and followed after Ray.
"Ray?" he said, "I think you should tell them. They need to know. Besides, they might be able to help us. We need all the help we can get. We know we can trust them, they're good people. There's no point in leaving them in the dark if it's only going to cause confusion. Have you heard the old saying, 'Ignorance causes fear, fear creates hate, and hate spawns bigotry?' We need to think about that right now. If we don't tell them soon, there's a good chance that one of them will leave. And having one of our allies turn to the other side could be disastrous. Wait- not could, would. It would be disastrous."
He sighed, and walked away, leaving Ray to his thoughts. He hoped his small speech would do some good.

Charlie was disgusted by everyone's silence. Didn't they realize that he could be trusted, that they could trust him with their lives and that they needed to trust him if this mission was to succeed, especially since he spoke parseltongue and had the greatest grasp of how to defend against the dark arts? They were going to need his help more than ever, though Bianca did seem perfectly capable of being able to defend herself, anyone who ever mistook her as weak or not bright was going to be in for a rude awakening. Didn't his friends think that someone with Charlie's knowledge and experience would know about the artifact they were searching for, that he would understand the power and the danger involved? If they didn't think him capable of dealing with the knowledge of what they were searching for, then they had very little trust in him, indeed.

Charlie was very disappointed. He hoped one of them would come to him and start explaining things to him, start explaining what he already had figured out on his own and confirm his suspicions. He might even be able to help solve the mystery with the knowledge he had about the artifact and the theories and conclusions about it which he had reached on his own.

Let them come soon, he said silently to himself. If they don't trust me, they are making a huge mistake.

Charlie felt Bianca invading his brain suddenly, telling him that she needed to speak to him right away. He stood up and began walking towards Bianca's room, wondering what she could want. He hoped she would help him unravel this mystery, maybe together they could figure out what to do.

Charlie knocked on the door to Bianca's room, waiting for her to answer. Within a moment she answered. He noticed the welcoming smell of tea in the air, the tea smelled better than it ever had after the adventure they had just experienced. "I gather you would like to see me?", Charlie said pointedly.

"What do you think of wat we've just heard?" She asked, "I get the feeling there is way more to it than that. And to tell you the truth, the secrecy makes me angry."

"Well, you're not the only one that is getting angry," Charlie told Bianca, raising his eyebrows in a gesture of disapproval. "I feel I've been kept totally in the dark about what we are searching for out here, and I'm really frustrated. Even Kelly, the woman who is supposed to love me and stand by me, seems to have deserted me, we have had such little contact since I started on this mission and I feel very much the odd man out, so I can symphatize with you. You with your gifts and I with my knowledge of how to defend against the dark arts and the ability to speak parseltongue, and they continue to keep us in the dark. Don't they think they could do anything to help them in their mission?"

"Listen though," Charlie said. "We already know that we are in some mighty hot water here and that this artifact we are searching for is one which is extremely powerful, very desirable and alluring to the dark side, and it seems to be something they are going to keep coming back for again and again, growing more powerful in their will to find it each time they return. We can't hold them off for long unless we find this thing we came out to search for and use it against them, that's the only way." Charlie thought to himself. He already had a pretty good theory on what they were searching for, something he had heard about for years and believed was a myth, but apparently was wrong. He believed they were searching for a very powerful transfiguration circle, the most powerful ever created. This is something that holds the very power of life and death within it, the person who owns it pretty much holds the power to control the entire wizarding world. He wanted to tell Bianca his beliefs and thoughts as far as this was concerned, but was a bit hesitant to do so, he wasn't sure why. He had a feeling Ray wasn't ready to tell her everything yet, and he didn't want to overstep his bounds. Still, in the small amount of time that Charlie had spent working with Bianca he realized that she was someone he could trust, and he was grateful for that. It was good to have someone to discuss his suspicions with, he couldn't just come out and confront the others at this point. But he wanted to hear what she had to say, if what she was thinking might somehow be similar to what his own thoughts were. He just wasn't quite ready to let her know his true suspicions right now. Perhaps he would confront the group with his thoughts later and see if he was correct, that might be best. In any case, they were making a huge mistake by keeping the mission such a huge secret, when they had such a need for every single member of the group to know.

"To be quite honest I have no idea what it is that we're looking for, but Whatever it is, it makes my Transfiguration and charmwork much stronger. But whatever this thing is, these dark wizards want it really bad. So bad it cost Edward and Eve their lives and nearly cost Ray his. That's why I confronted Kelly downstairs. It really ticks me off that it's only a select few of us who don't know what is going on, and it seems to me like we are the ones who will suffer because if it." Bianca sighed. "Why is it that the ones with the practical skills to fight this thing are the ones who don't know a thing?" She asked Retorically.

"It doesn't make sense," Charlie snorted in derision. "You would think we would be the first people they would tell instead of the last. I'm certain we are headed down a very dangerous path, and the ones who know have no way of dealing with the consequences of their actions once everything goes wrong, which I have no doubt it will. It's already headed that way, look at this attack that happened, and now Edward and Eve are both gone, like you said. That was a senseless loss, I'm sure it could have been prevented if we were all aware of exactly what is going on here. I do have my suspicions, but I'm going to keep them to myself for the time being. But, this lack of faith in us is very foolish and extremely undeserved and it causes me to worry a great deal, for all our sakes."

"It's interesting you should mention that. I've been a lot more tense lately, a lot more paranoid feeling, and that's something I never experience. I don't think it has anything to do with the situation we're in, either, because I've been feeling this way long before the attack came. We are dealing with something that has the power to play with our emotions, and that's a really scary thing! It's like it has control over our personalities."

Charlie knew only the most powerful objects in the universe had the power to change a person's emotional range and personality like that. All of this only confirmed his original suspicions. He frowned.

Ray walked up the next day, he had regained all his energy and was ready to confront his team, today, they will need to back to the campsite... He knew form the way people were acting yesterday that Eve and Edward's bodies weren't found. Heading straight to the Kitchen, Ray picked up a chair and transfigure it to a small board that he suspended in mid-air. He flicked his wand and a strong banging on each door of the upper-level of the house could be heard, then a trumpet started to play a stong melody. That would make them wake up.

The bang woke Steven with a jolt. He rolled over, and winced as he fell onto the large cut on his left arm.

"Christ...sod off Ray!" he shouted, through the door as he sat up on his bed. He still couldn't really get to grips with the situation. Two of their number were dead, and he couldn't stop it, even though it was his duty. He sighed, and looked at the cut. It was pretty deep, but there was no more bleeding. Pulling on some clothese, he went downstairs.

Bianca woke up with a scream, as she heard a sudden knocking on the door and some awful trumpet music coming from downstairs. "Come on Honey if you wanted me up that bad, you could have just come in here and woken me!" She yelled as she slid on a pair of jeans and a t-shirt and went downstairs barefooted.

Katy's eyes opened suddenly. She lay sprawled on her back in bed, on top of the covers and still fully dressed save for her bare feet.

These people, she thought. Why can't they rouse anyone normally? I should be glad of being woken by Trixie with a cup of tea when I get back home. She pulled on her socks and shoes, stiff and sour. If I go back home.

She banged down the stairs, pulling her hair up as she entered the kitchen.

"Top o' the morning, Ray," she said ruefully. "How are you feeling?"

Nicole cursed out loud as the loud banging and trumpet sounded. She slowly got up from her bead, wincing as her back seized up. It had been bothering her lately; pains from an old injury. She changed quickly, tossing her long violet hair up in a ponytail before heading down to meet everyone. Her usual small smile that greeted everyone was absent and she avoided eye contact. She wasn't in the mood. Who was?
