Once again this is a continued role-play created by hazydazy012, kept ever so strong and alive by it's loyal RPers. As the title says, this is version (4) four, the first three threads have reached their post limits. From the original thread:

Woo-hoo! An early summer all for yourself, right? Wrong.

One year at Hogwarts a mysterious spell was cast that not even the professors can undo. You wouldn't be able to see a difference at Hogwarts, just looking at the school, but it actually made magic impossible! Not a single person or creature could cast a spell while in the school. How are the students supposed to learn when they can't try out the new spells? Sure, most were devestated, (Especially the 7th years! How are they supposed to finish their last year?!) but of course, some were estatic too! Who doesn't want to have a longer summer vacation? So, most students go home in high spirits TWO months before Hogwarts was officially supposed to be let out for summer break. Only one week into their luxuriously long holiday, every student recieves this letter:

"It is mandatory for any students who want to complete their year to attend "La Bacchetta Magica", a summer learning camp for wizards located in a small getaway near Tuscany. You will be finishing up the studies that were unfinished at Hogwarts. Please bring your wand and other necessary items for regular classes."

Fantastic. Some are angry, but most are excited! I mean, it's called "The Magic Wand" in Italian, for goodness sakes. It's gotta be fun. And guess what?! It is! Everyone is having a great time with the mix of school and just plain summer camp fun! How will the Divinations in the morning and campfires at night affect the students? You decide!

Please join! There will need to be a few professors/camp counselors! Even number of boys and girls, please. Post a bio with a picture, thanks!

(P.S. I looked up "La Bacchetta Magica" and it told me "The Magic Wand" but it was only an online translator. If I'm wrong, then whoops! Heehee)

Ferris gazed around at the nearly empty village of Hogsmeade, his brown eyse scanning the many shops and places to visit on the slightly warm September day. It was rather nice out, the orange and gold leaves beginning to fall off the trees and onto the green grass, creating a lovely colour scheme for the couple as they made their way into the village. The boy felt completely comfortable in his favourite argyle sweater vest (green and blue with red outlines, in case you were wondering) and a soft white under t-shirt, his hand intwined with Vianna's. "Alright, where do you want to go?" he asked, knowing there were a couple different book shops in Hogsmeade and unsure of what book exactly his girlfriend had for Care of Magical Creatures that year.

Vianna took a moment to admire the sight before them, a smile permanently glued to her face before the boy at her side spoke, asking where she wanted to go. "Let's make a quick stop at The Three Broomsticks," she said, now beginning to lead the way over to the small pub, her hand still intwined with the boy's as she quickened her pace a bit. "I didn't really have breakfast this morning, and if I recall correctly, neither did you, Professor Montgomery," she said, raising her eyebrows slightly at the boy.

Ferris's eyebrows rose slightly as Vianna suggested that they stop at the Three Broomsticks as she hadn't had breakfast and neither had he. He let out a soft chuckle at this, recalling that he did only have a biscuit when he'd been in the Great Hall a couple hours before. And he couldn't deny that he was hungry. "Yeah, alright," he decided with a small smile, following her suddenly quickened steps with a soft chuckle. "What's your rush Vi?" he asked, shaking his head with slight amusement.

"I'm just really hungry!" Vianna replied as Ferris asked why she was rushing, amusement in her blue eyes as she let out a soft chuckle before coming to a halt right before the pub. She paused for a moment before opening the door, walking into the nearly-empty pub and dragging Ferris along, over to one of the tables by the windows; she'd always liked spots by windows for some reason. The girl sat down and waited for Ferris to do the same, clearing her throat slightly as her smile turned rather nervous, and her hands began to fidget on her lap.

Ferris's eyebrows rose as Vianna explained that she was just really hungry and let out a laugh, all too amused by her. He didn't have much of a choice (not that he minded going to eat, with his stomach and all) as Vianna practically dragged him through the door and over to a corner table, taking a seat all in what felt like just a second of time. He shook his head with amusement, taking the seat beside her in the booth and noting the way her hands fidgeted in her lap. "What's up with you?" he asked with a suspicious smile, easily able to detect the small differences within his girlfriend's behaviour. "Are your hands cold?" he aked, gently slipping one of his larger hands into her smaller one, intwining their fingers and bringing the back of her hand up to his lips in a kiss. He flashed her a small smile before returning their clasped hands to his lap, his free hand wrapping around the other side of her small one.

Vianna turned to Ferris and gave a small chuckle as he asked what was up with her, before then asking if her hands were cold. "I--I'm fine," she said, smiling with amusement that he'd come to this conclusion. "There's something I have to tell you, though," she started again after a short pause. "It was supposed to be a surprise, but... well, you know how I am with surprises! It's not just that, though... I wanted to explain myself first," said Vianna, completely ignoring the fact that she probably wasn't making any sense at all to the boy at her side. And after another short pause, the girl more bluntly added, "I didn't forget your birthday, Professor."

Ferris watched with slightly curious brown eyes as Vianna assured him that she was fine before speaking once more, explaining that she had something to tell him. His eyebrows rose, a little surprised, but listened as she continued to speak about how something was supposed to be a surprise but she was never good with surprises, not understanding what in the world she was going on about. As she finally said that she wanted to explain herself first, his brows furrowed, his brown eyes confused and innocent, unsure as to what she needed to tell him. It was then that she told him rather bluntly that she hadn't forgotten his birthday and his eyebrows rose, his face relaxing into an expression of slight surprise. "Y-You didn't?" he asked softly, blinking a couple times. Well if she didn't forget, then why didn't she mention it? Had she thought that when he said he didn't want a fuss that he didn't want any type of recognition that he was now 18? That made sense, he guessed, but it was still rather confusing...What was this about surprises and explanations?

Vianna shook her head in response as Ferris asked that she hadn't really forgotten his birthday. "No..." She reached into her pocket and pulled out a tiny little box, enlarging it with a wave of her wand. It was neatly wrapped in shiny green wrap, with a silver bow on top. "Now, I know you had been very specific about what you wanted for your birthday - or rather, about what you didn't want for your birthday," Vianna began with a weak, slightly flustered chuckle, "And I had every intention to go along with it, I swear, but when I mentioned your birthday in a letter I was writing to my parents earlier this week, they kind of decided they wanted to throw you a party, that I was being horrible for not having planned to do one myself" - she rolled her eyes at this, rather amused by it than offended - "and you know it's very hard to get my parents to let something go once they've become excited about it." She chuckled softly at this. "But… before we meet with everyone else, I wanted to have some time alone with you," she added a little more quietly, as she wasn't really sure she'd have much of a chance to really have the boy entirely to herself once they met up with her family and everyone else.

Ferris watched as Vianna pulled out a tiny package and enlarged it until it reached its proper, large size and sat it in front of him. "What...? Vi...You really didn't need to..." he murmured with a flustered chuckle and a soft smile, honestly not having expected this. But as he listened to her explain that her parents had heard that it was his birthday and thought she was horrible for not having planned a party already, his expression only became more and more surprised and innocent; listening as Vianna pretty much revealed that there was a party waiting somewhere for him, and that she just wanted a moment alone with him before they met up with everyone else. "Vi..." he said with a warm smile, admiring her for a moment with loving brown eyes before he turned his gaze back to the present. "And what exactly is this?" he asked, with a playful raise of his eyebrows, unsure if this was something from her parents or rather his girlfriend herself.

Vianna's gaze had fallen to the table before them as she spoke, but she was immediately snapped out of thoughts as Ferris asked what was in the box. "You can't open it yet!" said Vianna, taking the present and pulling it back over to her side of the table, something rather childlike in the way she did so. "This isn't my real present anyway. That one's waiting for you at the party and I'm not going to spoil it like I just did everything else!" she said, a rather playful smile coming to her lips now. "I can ruin everyone else's surprises but not my own," she added with a bit of a grin, mischief in her blue eyes as she neatly set the box near the edge of the table. She was quiet for a moment, the mischief leaving her eyes to be replaced with worry instead, and slowly, her forehead began to crease slightly. "You don't hate me, though, right?" she asked quietly. "I'm really sorry my parents decided to make a big deal out of it, Professor, I couldn't stop them... and... actually, I didn't want to stop them either," she confessed sheepishly. "I thought you deserved a party, too."

Ferris couldn't help but laugh aloud as Vianna took his present away from him, explaining that he had to wait to open it and her actual, real present, as apparently that wasn't it. A little overwhelmed, the boy nodded with a small smile, still obviously registering this news. She hadn't forgotten his birthday...She and her parents planned a party of all things for him....She'd gotten him a present...His brown eyes were a little dazed until he was snapped back to reality with her next words, when she asked if he hated her. His eyebrows raised, completely surprised by the question, and listened as she apologized for her parents making a big deal out of things, that she couldn't stop them and hadn't really wanted to as she thought he deserved a party too. He let out a soft chuckle, a warm smile on his pale face that made his dimples appear, "Hate you?" he repeated incredulously. "How could I possibly hate you, Vi?" he asked softly, leaning in towards her to place a warm, loving kiss to her rosy lips.

Vianna listened as the boy at her side asked how he could possibly hate her, and a smile began to curve the corners of her lips before he leaned over and awarded the girl a kiss she was quick to return. She couldn't help feeling like she hadn't kissed the boy in ages, with all the time she'd been spending apart from him plotting this not-so-surprise party with her family and Margaret helping her sneak out of the castle after lessons. But a couple moments later, the young girl pulled back with the warmest of smiles adorning her face, and her blue eyes sparkled at the boy at her side, clearly both happy and relieved that he wasn't upset with her for going completely against what he'd asked of her a few weeks ago. "Do you still want to have breakfast with your girlfriend or are you getting antsy about your 'surprise', Professor?" she asked with a soft chuckle, not sure if perhaps the boy wanted to get going now rather than spend a quiet breakfast with her when there were presents to open and cake to eat waiting for him.

Ferris, brown eyes sparkling, watched the girl next to him as they broke apart, listening as she asked if he still wanted to have a quiet breakfast with her rather than get going to that party. He thought for a moment, an amused smile crossing his pale features as he let his gaze travel to the table. "Honestly, Vi?" he said, glancing back at her. "All I've wanted for the past day...Or, even, ever since I mentioned my birthday..." he let out a soft chuckle. "Was to just have some time with you, maybe a kiss, and a happy birthday." He flashed her a small smile, brown eyes amused and slightly disbelieving. "So yes, I would love to have breakfast with you before we head out."

Vianna listened as the boy at her side shared that all he'd really wanted for his birthday was to have some time with her, perhaps a 'happy birthday' and a kiss. She chuckled softly at this, though her blue eyes were flattered that the boy would honestly just want her rather than an actual present for his birthday. As he then agreed to having breakfast with her before they head out, the girl's smile widened to a slight grin and she leaned over to place a kiss on the boy's cheek. "I'm glad," she said, smiling brightly up at him. "Because I wasn't lying when I said I was hungry..." she muttered as her gaze fell to the menu before them and she began to flip through it, though she already had a vague idea of what she'd be getting.

Ferris let out an amused smile as Vianna admitted that she hadn't been lying when she'd told him that she was hungry. "Neither was I," he said with a soft chuckle, opening up a menu before immediately putting it down as the waitress came over, already aware of what he wanted. "I'll have a large stack of blueberry pancakes and a cup of coffee please," the boy asked with a warm smile to the woman before leaning forward in his seat, very aware of the quick service that came with the Three Broomsticks. And, just as he anticipated, as the woman wrote down his order, it appeared right before him and just like that he was starting in on his pancakes rather hungrily.

Vianna couldn't help but chuckle softly as Ferris quickly began to dig into his food before closing her menu and turning to the waitress. "I'll have a small plate of Pumpkin Pasties and a butterbeer, please," she said; but the girl was barely done making her order before it was already sitting before her, ready to be consumed. Vianna chuckled softly at this and took a long sip from her butterbeer before getting started on her food.

And, as per usual, the boy finished his pile of food in record timing, approximately seven minutes later. And with a large sigh he leaned back into his seat with a pleased smile, his dimples coming into view on his pale face as he turned his brown eyes to the girl next to him. Within the next moment he was laying down in the booth, resting his head on her lap as he so often did after a good meal. "Hey there," he murmured with the warmest of smiles, her long brown hair's tips falling onto his pale face.

Vianna looked down with slightly raised eyebrows as she felt something resting on her lap, only to find Ferris using her lap as a pillow as he smiled up at her, greeting the girl with a 'hey there'. Vianna smiled with amusement at this and chuckled softly. "Hello, Professor," she greeted him. She then took another sip from her butterbeer, quiet for a moment before her brows furrowed slightly and her expression turned rather thoughtful. "Hey... you're eighteen now... you can order Firewhiskey!" said the girl, her eyebrows raising as she realized this. "You should order it, Professor!" she said, turning to the boy resting his head on her lap.

Ferris's eyebrows rose as Vianna seemed to remember that he had turned eighteen and this meant that he could now order Firewhiskey at an establishment. This too had slipped his mind, but he couldn't help but be amused as Vianna suggested that he order it right at that moment. "You want me to order Firewhiskey at ten thirty in the morning?" he asked for clarification, amusement in his gaze as he watched her blue eyes turned to him. The idea did sound rather spontaneous, he had to admit, but he'd never even tried any type of alchohol before, and wasn't exactly sure if he wanted to try it out now that he had the chance.

"Yes!" Vianna replied to the boy's question, an amused and rather mischievous giggle escaping her lips as she did so. She saw, of course, absolutely no point in doing this, but something about the fact that one of them was actually allowed to do this now, kind of fascinated her. She was used to the idea of her classmates trying to fool the waiters into thinking they were older to get their hands on this drink, but Ferris didn't have to fool anyone now that he really was the required age. "C'mon, I'm sure it won't hurt to have a sip or two," she said with a soft chuckle. "Do it just... to enjoy the power that comes with being an eighteen-year-old!" she said, as if the boy was celebrating his new place as president of the nation rather than an eighteenth birthday.

Ferris let out a hearty laugh as Vianna immediately answered affirmatively to his question, suggesting that he do it just to enjoy the power that came with being eighteen; that it wouldn't hurt to have just a sip or two. He studied her blue eyes for a moment, as though to make sure she was serious, before he grinned and sat up, "Alright, I'll do it," he murmured with a soft chuckle, a bit disbelieving that he was doing such a thing. As the waitress passed by, Ferris gave a soft, "Excuse me," so the lady would return to their table with a polite smile. "Could I please get a Firewhiskey?" he asked politely. And the horribly ironic thing was that there was childlike excitement in the boy's eyes as he said this, as though he was breaking some sort of rule. And this only made the waitress more suspicious.

"I'm going to need to see some sort of ID," she said with a raise of her eyebrows and he gave a brief nod before taking out his wallet and showing his Wizarding ID (ooc: oh yes, I did just make that up) which stated his birthdate clearly in bold. Her eyebrows rose, "Happy birthday," she said with a soft chuckle, taking out her notepad and scratching down the word 'Firewhiskey'. Moments later a rather large clear bottle of amber liquid appeared on the table with a shot glass next to it, ready for pouring. "This one's on the house, since it's your birthday."

Ferris's eyebrows rose and he gave a polite, hesitant smile, "Thank you." He let out a soft chuckle as she walked away and his brown eyes turned to Vianna before they traveled to the bottle. And he didn't even touch it, as though afraid that this had all been a joke and the second he touched it alarms would go off or something of the sort.

Vianna gave a triumphant grin as Ferris agreed to ordering a Firewhiskey, amusement and excitement sparkling in her crystal blue eyes as she watched the boy call the nearest waitress over. And her amusement only seemed to grow as the woman asked for identification, something she had been expecting would come, but it felt so… strange that they actually had the ID to get away with this - well, Ferris did. And it's not like they were committing a crime or anything of the sort, but Fervi were such an innocent pair that something like Firewhiskey had always seemed so out-of-boundaries that it rather fascinated them now, like two little kids who'd finally gained access to a forbidden room of surprises. As the large bottle of Firewhiskey suddenly appeared out of nowhere on the table, Vianna's blue eyes widened, and she examined it for a moment before turning to Ferris with a bit of mischief in the blue of her eyes. "Well, go on. Have a drink!" she said, grinning.

ooc: I'm off now, Rutherssssss! I won't be on 'til later tomorrow, but I'll definitely be on at like nighttime or maybe late afternoon my time!

Ferris couldn't help but let out an amused chuckle as Vianna only encouraged him to take a drink, admiring the mischief behind her blue eyes and the excitement in her tone for a moment before turning his gaze back to the bottle on the table. He gently unscrewed the lid, pouring just a little of its contents onto the shot glass before setting the bottle back down on the table and methodically placing the cap back on. He even picked up the glass! But that appeared to be as far as the boy would go, staring at the small amount of amber liquid in the rather small shot glass, his brown eyes examining it for a good few long moments. Finally, he brought it just a little closer, but just to smell it, immediately making a face and raising his eyebrows. Whew! That was quite the smell....And finally, after a few very very long moments, the boy glanced over at Vianna with a bit of mischief in his own gaze and downed the contents of the shot glass.

The liquid barely had time to make it down his throat before he began coughing, bringing up one arm to shield his soft fit of coughs from the girl right next to him. "Oh, gross!" the boy said as soon as he could find his voice, looking very much like a little boy as he made a face at the bottle still on the table.

Vianna was nearly bouncing with excitement in her seat, almost like a child awaiting to open a present, as she watched the birthday boy at her side unscrew the lid of the bottle and pour some of its liquid into the shot glass they'd been given earlier. Vianna watched all of this with fascination, as if they were breaking a great rule by even looking at this forbidden drink, and she couldn't help but chuckle softly as the boy seemed to disapprove of the Firewhiskey's smell. "Go on, Professor!" she insisted, elbowing the boy gently as he seemed to hesitate on drinking the amber liquid in the glass. But after keeping the girl in suspense for what felt like an eternity, he finally downed the whole thing at once, and a second later fell into a fit of coughs. Vianna giggled with amusement at this before patting the boy's back. "You alright there, Professor?" she asked, an amused smile on her lips as she watched the boy who clearly hadn't enjoyed that drink at all. The girl laughed lightly at all this, completely amused by it all, but feeling rather triumphant too, as if they had just accomplished something no one had ever dared do before.

Ferris let out a soft chuckle as Vianna asked if he was alright, obviously not genuinely concerned but rather completely amused by his coughing fit. "I think I'll live," he replied with an amused smile, his dimples coming out of hiding as his pale cheeks turned a very light shade of pink with all the coughing, his brown eyes a little watery. He glanced at the rest of the Firewhiskey and shuddered slightly, making another face at it as though scared it might attack him and force him to drink the rest. As he turned back to see Vianna's thoroughly amused expression, he gave a playful grin, "And just what're you laughing about?" he asked, slipping his arm around her and pulling her into his chest. "You're the one who has to kiss me, after I've drinken that!"
