Once again this is a continued role-play created by hazydazy012, kept ever so strong and alive by it's loyal RPers. As the title says, this is version (4) four, the first three threads have reached their post limits. From the original thread: Quote:

One year at Hogwarts a mysterious spell was cast that not even the professors can undo. You wouldn't be able to see a difference at Hogwarts, just looking at the school, but it actually made magic impossible! Not a single person or creature could cast a spell while in the school. How are the students supposed to learn when they can't try out the new spells? Sure, most were devestated, (Especially the 7th years! How are they supposed to finish their last year?!) but of course, some were estatic too! Who doesn't want to have a longer summer vacation? So, most students go home in high spirits TWO months before Hogwarts was officially supposed to be let out for summer break. Only one week into their luxuriously long holiday, every student recieves this letter:
"It is mandatory for any students who want to complete their year to attend "La Bacchetta Magica", a summer learning camp for wizards located in a small getaway near Tuscany. You will be finishing up the studies that were unfinished at Hogwarts. Please bring your wand and other necessary items for regular classes."
Fantastic. Some are angry, but most are excited! I mean, it's called "The Magic Wand" in Italian, for goodness sakes. It's gotta be fun. And guess what?! It is! Everyone is having a great time with the mix of school and just plain summer camp fun! How will the Divinations in the morning and campfires at night affect the students? You decide!
Please join! There will need to be a few professors/camp counselors! Even number of boys and girls, please. Post a bio with a picture, thanks!
(P.S. I looked up "La Bacchetta Magica" and it told me "The Magic Wand" but it was only an online translator. If I'm wrong, then whoops! Heehee)

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor OOC: Ferris looked up from the note he was scrawling on as Vianna asked if that was.... "A love note sent by some poor chap?" he finished for her with a grin, "Why yes, yes it is." He put the quill down on the table beside his plate, still very casual as though it was normal to be writing back to his girlfriend's admirers. "Your not-so-secret admirer wants you to know that he thinks you're very pretty, and asks very politely if you'd like to maybe go out on a date," the boy explained, his voice a bit mocking as he was obviously slightly amused. "And despite his neanderthal handwriting and his poor use of diction, he appears to be a very polite boy." He flashed her an amused smile, "I'm afraid, however, that your boyfriend isn't too fond of these secret admirers, and I've written a reply," he explained. "Would you like to add anything?" he asked, handing her the note with a small smile.

Vianna gave a very brief, weak chuckle as Ferris finished her question for her. She couldn't help feel a little odd at the moment; how often was it that she had a boyfriend who seemed to find amusement in writing back to her 'admirers'? Never before. And though it was a rather amusing act, she wasn't sure if the boy beside her was bothered or not, and so she wasn't sure how to react. However, as he continued, it became clear to her that he was taking it a lot more casually than she had expected, and a rather amused smile began to curve the corners of her lips. She rose her eyebrows slightly as he shared with her the contents of the note before explaining that he'd written back to the boy, then asking if she'd like to add anything. "What - me?" she asked, blinking as she took the note. The girl read over its contents and her eyebrows rose further for a moment there before an amused chuckle escaped her lips. "Professor!" She returned her gaze back to him with a bit of disbelief. "And you call me the troublemaker!" she said, completely amused as she folded back the note. She couldn't help feel a little bad for the boy who was going to receive this note, even if it didn't necessarily say anything bad, but she hoped it would at least open his eyes and make him realize that the girl wasn't interested; and maybe help spread the word too, so these notes would stop arriving. "I think this note's ready to be sent," she approved.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris let out a chuckle as Vianna gave an amazed 'Professor!', pointing out that she wasn't the one who needed to be called a troublemaker. He grinned as she read it over before telling him that it was ready to be sent and he folded it back up before putting a charm on it so it would return to the sender. Once that was done, his amused brown eyes turned back to the girl at his side who still seemed to be a little shocked by his casual dimeanor. But Ferris wanted to make it very clear that he was not okay with these notes, and he most definitely wasn't just going to let them come to his girlfriend without doing something about it. He slipped a lanky arm around her waist, pulling Vianna into his chest and just barely onto his lap, "They're hitting on my gem, what d'you want me to do?" he asked, a playful smile on his face as he kissed her cheek lovingly.

Vianna smiled faintly as the boy at her side brought her closer to him, before commenting that the boys were hitting on her, that what was he supposed to do. Her smile widened slightly as his lips then met her cheek and she chuckled softly. "Well, one thing I do know... is that I prefer the way you handle these boys compared to how my brothers did," she said with another chuckle. She was quiet for a moment before lifting her gaze from the plate she had been absentmindedly staring at, to look at the boy at her side instead. "What about your admirers, though? There's nothing I can do about them!" she said, though she still smiled as she wasn't too horribly bothered by this, at least not as much as she had been at the beginning of it all.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris gave a warm smile as Vianna told him that she preferred his way of dealing with the admirers than how her brothers did, obviously amused. But as she asked what she was supposed to do about his admirers, convinced that she couldn't do anything about them, he thought for a moment. "The crazy girls with weird taste that smile at me are way different than the normal boys who have very good reason to be attracted to you," he explained playfully, obviously aware that he was calling his own girlfriend crazy since she was attracted to him. "But really, they aren't actually bugging me. They don't send me notes like these guys send to you."

Vianna's jaw dropped and she gasped with mock offense as the boy at her side explained to her that the girls who liked him were crazy and had weird taste, whereas the boys who liked her were completely normal and had good reason to be attracted to her. "Hey!" she said, furrowing her brows slightly at him, though there was still amusement in the blue of her eyes. She turned a little more serious, though, as he continued, sharing that the girls weren't really bugging him as they weren't sending him notes like the boys did to her. "I know, which is why I can't copy your trick," she said, making a bit of a face and turning quiet as her gaze fell to the table absentmindedly. She looked up again a moment later, this time addressing the group at the Gryffindor table. "Should we get going now?"
"I think they're starting to check permission slips and form the group now," said the boy beside Margaret with a nod.
"You ready then, Professor?" Vianna asked, turning to Ferris.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris let out an amused smile as Vianna gave him a 'Hey!' before explaining that due to the fact that he wasn't getting any notes, she couldn't copy his trick. "Don't worry, Vi, we'll find you a way to tell the crazies off," he assured her with a warm smile, kissing her cheek softly before turning to the table as Vianna addressed them, asking if they should get going. He listened to a boy explain that they were starting to check permission slips for Hogsmeade, and turned to look at Vianna as she asked if he was ready. "Of course," he replied, giving her the warmest of smiles before getting up from the table and turning his back to her. "C'mon, hop on," the boy said with a grin, indicating that she should get on his back for a piggy back ride.

ooc: Do you wanna actually RP out their trip to Hogsmeade?
Vianna smiled as Ferris gave her an 'of course', and she got up from the table as did most of the other seventh year Gryffindors that were sitting with them. It was then that the boy who'd been sitting beside her turned his back to her and asked her to hop on. Vianna's eyebrows rose slightly, not expecting this invitation, especially here in the middle of the Hall. But the girl was one to be all for spontaneity, and the brightest of smiles adorned her face as she did just as he asked, placing both hands on his shoulders for impulse before hopping on, her arms now wrapping around the boy's neck as she held on tightly. "Let's go!" she said with a grin, leaning over the boy's shoulder to place a kiss on his cheek.
ooc: I'm off now Rutherssss!! Byeeeee!

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor OOC: Not sure as of yet... We'll just talk about it tomorrow cuz I'm getting off too! Byyyeeee Deeeee! Ferris grinned as he felt Vianna hop onto his back, feeling her arms slip around his neck as she ordered that they get going. He let out a soft chuckle at this, his smile widening at the feel of a kiss on his cheek, "Alright, let's get going," he agreed, walking alongside Margaret and the couple other people they'd shared the Gryffindor table with towards the group that was gathering to go to Hogsmeade. "Professor Montgomery, are you going today?" a nearby fourth year asked as Fervi joined the group, Vianna a good couple feet taller than the rest because of her seat on Ferris's back. Ferris turned to see a kid that he knew rather well from his fifth hour Charms, and gave a polite smile. "Actually, I am."

Vianna admired her surroundings from this new height and looked down as a little fourth year student addressed Ferris, asking if the boy was going to the Hogsmeade trip as well, to which Ferris replied letting him know he was. Vianna couldn't help but chuckle softly to herself at the way the boy had said 'Professor Montgomery', it just seemed to fit right. "Looks like your students are quite thrilled to have you around during this trip, Professor Montgomery!" she said teasingly, amusement in her smile.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris gave an amused smile as Vianna spoke to his ear, mentioning that his students seemed quite pleased that he was going to Hogsmeade, calling him Professor Montgomery. "They're not mine," he denied with a sheepish smile, reminding himself that he was only an assistant Professor. He pulled her up a little more on his back, his hands holding her legs securely as the group started out towards Hogsmeade.

"Whatever you say, Mr. Montgomery," Vianna replied playfully before chuckling softly to herself, turning quiet just as they reached the group gathering outside, with most of the professors checking permission slips. Realizing she couldn't just waltz in there on Ferris's back since he was, after all, part of the staff, Vianna loosened her grip around him. "I think you can put me down now, Professor," she told the boy.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor ------------------------------------------------------------------ One Day Before Ferris's Birthday Ferris walked into the Great Hall for dinner on Saturday, the 16th of September, fresh out of the library where he'd spent the last couple hours searching for a certain book. In one day exactly he'd turn 18. It was slightly hard for the boy to believe that an entire year had gone by since he'd last had a birthday; that he was already past the age of 17. And the boy was never one to make a big deal out of his own birthday, and so he literally hadn't mentioned it all week long to Vianna, or anyone really. All he really wanted was to spend some time with his girlfriend, which was what he'd been doing for the past couple weekends, so he was sure he'd get his only wish.

ooc: Loool at the big font!
Vianna, Margaret, the boy they're always with that I'll call Elliot, and a couple other Gryffindors were sitting by their usual spots at the Gryffindor table talking in hushed voices, their plates untouched as they had become rather distracted with the conversation. But they all grew immediately quiet as someone walked into the Hall - none other than Ferris Montgomery. The group turned quiet and began to pick on their food absentmindedly, while Vianna called out to the boy. "Professor!" She grinned at him, honestly excited to see the boy, as always.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor OOC: I thought it brought a sense of finality to the change of time? Right? Ferris's brows furrowed just slightly as a good portion of the Gryffindor table's chatter suddenly hushed as he walked towards it (since it was Saturday and he was allowed to sit at the House tables). Before he could question this, he heard his favourite nickname called out and his dark brown gaze turned to the one girl he loved to see no matter what; Vianna, sitting in the middle of all of her friends. He grinned at the sight, his gaze sparkling just slightly as she grinned over at him. "Hey Vi," he said, taking the seat at her side before placing a warm kiss on her cheek, realizing just how much he'd missed her in the last few hours, since he'd last seen her at lunch. (It had been a busy day, as Ferris was doing a bit of research for Flitwick in the library for most of the afternoon). He admired her for a moment before gently pecking her lips, a warm smile on his pale face, "What'd I miss all day?" he asked.

ooc: Yes, yes it does.
Vianna smiled as Ferris sat down beside her, greeting the girl with a kiss on the cheek that got her smile to widen. It was then that he placed another kiss on her lips, which she quickly returned, before asking what he'd missed all day. "Oh, nothing much," the young girl replied with a shrug of her shoulders. "We were just out flying a bit and just got here not too long ago," she replied casually. "What about you? Had fun at the library?" she asked the boy. But before he could answer, her brows suddenly furrowed a bit as she quickly added with a bit of concern, "Flitwick's not going to give you more work for tomorrow, is he?"
ooc: I'm off for an hour or so, Ruthers!

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor OOC: Ok! Ferris listened as Vianna explained that they'd just been flying around outside and had just gotten into the Hall a few minutes ago. He gave a brief nod, beginning to pile some food onto his plate, giving Vianna's friends (who he was beginning to get to know better) a small smile as he did so. It was then that Vianna asked how his afternoon at the library had been, and Ferris opened his mouth to reply when she continued, asking if Flitwick was going to give him more homework for the following day. "Well, I dunno, Vi," he said with a small shrug. "I got most of it done today, and he hasn't said anything about it, so probably not....Why?"

Vianna listened as Ferris told her he didn't really know if Flitwick would give him more work, as he'd already gotten most of it done that day, though chances were he wouldn't get more work. She nodded her head slightly at this before he then asked why. "Oh, just wondering," she replied with a shrug. The boy might have been keeping quiet about his birthday, but Vianna had definitely not forgotten; she was actually counting down the days for it, though she played along and said nothing as well, allowing the boy to think it might've slipped her mind or something.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor And Ferris was all the happier thinking that his girlfriend had let his coming birthday slip her mind. Not that he particularly wanted to be forgotten about, but he didn't want her to worry about getting him anything or making tomorrow special. The boy began to eat, unable to keep much flowing conversation as his hunger got the best of him. Though one hand, as always, was intwined with Vianna's beneath the table as he did so.

Margaret and Elliot were absentmindedly picking on their food for a couple more moments before Margaret looked up and cleared her throat a bit. "I think I'm gonna head back to the common room, Vi; gotta finish that essay for Potions," she said, giving the couple a small smile before getting up to her feet.
"Oh! Me too!" said Elliot, apparently just remembering he had to finish this essay too before he also got up and, along with Margaret, headed out of the Great Hall. Vianna gave the two a nod and a small smile before turning back to the boy beside her. "Hey, Professor..."

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris gave a brief nod as Margaret and Elliot decided to go back to the Common Room, not thinking much of their rather strange timing or their shifty glances to his girlfriend. He only really paid attention when Vianna spoke, giving a small 'Hey, Professor', and he turned to look at her with a mouth full of mashed potatoes. He quickly swallowed the mouthful before speaking with a soft chuckle, aware that he'd been caught unprepared. "Yeah? What's up Vi?" he asked.

Vianna smiled with amusement as Ferris seemed to be caught off-guard before replying to her. "Well... I was wondering if... it's just, I haven't really been spending much time with Margaret lately, and she hasn't really said anything but I know she'd appreciate it if maybe I started sleeping in the dormitories again. It's always been kind of a habit for us to sneak out to the kitchens together and stay up late, and... y'know, all of that. So I was wondering if you'd be okay with us canceling tonight's sleepover? And... maybe tomorrow's too?" she asked, with just the slightest hint of a cringe on her features; but she clearly didn't enjoy having to ask this.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris listened as the girl at his side explained that she hadn't gotten to spend a lot of time with Margaret lately, and they used to have a lot of fun sneaking down to the kitchens in the middle of the night and all of that. Slightly confused as to where this was going, his brows furrowed just slightly as he listened to her continue, until she finally asked if he'd be okay with cancelling their sleepovers for tonight and tomorrow night. His brows unfurrowed and realization dawned on him, his eyebrows raising just slightly as he gave a small smile, "Yes, of course," he agreed with a small nod, knowing that he'd been hogging Vianna for the past couple weeks, unable to help it. And though he didn't want a big fuss for his birthday, he'd rather been looking forward to the small time he'd have with Vianna at night, especially tonight and tomorrow. But a small, dull smile remained on his pale face, the tiniest sadness in the back of his brown eyes as he turned back to his plate. So...she'd really forgotten.

Vianna smiled as Ferris agreed to canceling their sleepovers, though it faded slightly at the sight of his own small and rather dull smile, able to tell clearly that the boy was obviously not necessarily thrilled about this, and his brown eyes even seemed a little... sad. The young girl could not have possibly felt any worse at the moment, but she knew she had to play along and keep the boy convinced she'd honestly forgotten his birthday, as unpleasant as that was. "Thanks, Professor," she said with a small smile, leaning over to place a peck kiss on his cheek. "You're the best."

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris gave a weak chuckle as Vianna thanked him before telling him he was the best, "It's not a big deal, you deserve some time with your friends," he replied with a small nod, not bothering to point out that his birthday was the next day. "I guess I can just spend some time in the library," he said with a small nod, feeling his stomach sink just slightly. How did he get his hopes up without even realizing it? It was now that he realized that he'd been hoping that his girlfriend might've been planning the smallest thing, or at least have remembered his birthday, and immediately felt silly. All of his past birthdays for the past seven years had been at Hogwarts, and with little to no friends, it was never much of a celebration. A card from his mum, and a few cards from the others in his town, and that was pretty much it...And now he felt a little silly for getting his hopes up that this year would be any different, just because he had Vianna.
