Default That Summer - V.4

Once again this is a continued role-play created by hazydazy012, kept ever so strong and alive by it's loyal RPers. As the title says, this is version (4) four, the first three threads have reached their post limits. From the original thread:

How are the students supposed to learn when they can't try out the new spells? Sure, most were devestated, (Especially the 7th years! How are they supposed to finish their last year?!) but of course, some were estatic too! Who doesn't want to have a longer summer vacation? So, most students go home in high spirits TWO months before Hogwarts was officially supposed to be let out for summer break. Only one week into their luxuriously long holiday, every student recieves this letter:

"It is mandatory for any students who want to complete their year to attend "La Bacchetta Magica", a summer learning camp for wizards located in a small getaway near Tuscany. You will be finishing up the studies that were unfinished at Hogwarts. Please bring your wand and other necessary items for regular classes."

Fantastic. Some are angry, but most are excited! I mean, it's called "The Magic Wand" in Italian, for goodness sakes. It's gotta be fun. And guess what?! It is! Everyone is having a great time with the mix of school and just plain summer camp fun! How will the Divinations in the morning and campfires at night affect the students? You decide!

Please join! There will need to be a few professors/camp counselors! Even number of boys and girls, please. Post a bio with a picture, thanks!

(P.S. I looked up "La Bacchetta Magica" and it told me "The Magic Wand" but it was only an online translator. If I'm wrong, then whoops! Heehee)

ooh: -Pets- There, there. One day you will win that spelling bee, child. I promise!

Vianna seemed relieved as the dance with her father came to an end. Luckily for her, there weren't any complicated steps she was supposed to follow or anything of the sort, it was just a normal, formal dance, like the many she'd had to dance as a child. And luckily for her, though her mind seemed not to remember how to move, her feet did, and they moved on their own on the dance floor, moving the girl across the floor gracefully, almost as if she was floating on air as her feet were hidden away under her long white dress.

But now that the dance was over, Vianna was looking forward to joining the others again, but most importantly, she was looking forward to being with her husband again. It was then that her brother - quite loudly - announced that it was time for the bride and the groom to dance, then proceeding to shove Ferris over to the dance floor. The most amused and endeared of smiles took over the girl's lightly tanned face then, watching as the boy flashed her one of those adorable goofy grins as he was being shoved toward her.

"Well, hello there," greeted the girl with a warm smile once he was right before her. "Have you come to ask me to dance, Professor?" she teased lightly, her eyebrows raising slightly.

OOC: We should have an inspirational film, all about little Ruthies, living up to their dreams of winning the spelling bee with the help of their wise counselors (that's you Dee)!

Ferris had a rather bewildered expression on his pale face as Vianna greeted him with a sweet smile on her face, asking if he'd come by to ask her to dance. He gave a sheepish chuckle at this, his brown eyes turning to her with a rather quirky smile, "Well, apparently I have," he said playfully, though there was uneasiness behind his chocolate eyes. His gaze turned to the crowd, to everyone sitting at their tables around the small dancefloor (as apparently, they'd chosen that particular moment to disperse and let the focus be on the newlyweds) rather nervously. "Vi...I-I don't really dance that well," he admitted to her in a sheepish murmur, finally returning his focus to the girl in front of him.

And though he was uneasy, once his brown eyes turned back to Vianna, he couldn't help but smile once more. But how could he not? There she was, looking...stunning to say the least. He got his breath taken away every time he looked at her, his brown eyes sparkled on instinct, and he kind of lost his train of thought as a goofy sort of smile fell onto his pale expression.

Sure, he had danced that one time with Vianna, on their very very first date, back in May of their first year together. But they were alone then, in Nordoff's, and it was kind of dark so she couldn't see how clumsy and awkward he could actually be! He didn't know any specific dances, he didn't know what to do with his feet, he didn't know where to put his hands! All he knew for sure was to kind of sway to the music, and sure that had gotten him by on their first date, but what about now?! When everyone expected to see a happy, cute, poised married couple! He was going to embarrass her, he just knew it, and he didn't want to do that, not now! "I-I don't know where to...put my hands, o-or what to do with...my feet..." he trailed off, looking rather bewildered once more.

Vianna couldn't help but be completely endeared as Ferris warned her that he didn't dance that well, her crystal blue eyes sparkling up at him with a sort of adoration she usually reserved for her precious pets. But the boy was so adorable, looking so terribly uneasy and nervous about having to dance with her in front of all these people, she simply couldn't help but be completely endeared by him. And just like him, her mind seemed to travel back in time to that first date they'd shared what felt like ages ago, when she and the boy had danced for the very first time. "You've done it before, Professor, you can do it again," the girl assured him kindly, her smile warm and loving as she listened to the boy explain that he didn't know what to do with his hands or his feet.

"Here…" muttered the girl quietly, taking the boy's hands into her own smaller ones and placing then around her waist, causing a few people in the crowd to chuckle softly, apparently amused that the bride had to guide the groom on this. But Vianna didn't seem to notice, her mind wasn't really on them at the moment. Her mind and all of her attention was on the boy before her, her crystal blue eyes never leaving his brown ones as her hands left his own, leaving them on her waist as her own traveled up, her arms coming to wrap around the boy's neck. She smiled warmly at him, never for a second ripping her gaze away; but she wanted the boy to be comfortable, it was the only way he could let his guard down and allow his feet to move in rhythm with the music. And the only way he could be comfortable was if he forgot about their audience, if she brought him back to their first date, to that one night at Nordoff's bookstore, when it was just the two of them dancing in a candle-lit dinner (or I think it was, I cant remember lol), submerged in a darkness that allowed them just enough light to admire each other's features.

The music has been playing for a couple moments now, but it was just until now that Vianna began to move, slowly, going along with the rhythm and speed of the music. "C'mon, Professor. Surprise me for a second time," she asked of him with a bright smile, referring to how he had surprised her that one time during their date. The girl really hadn't expected him to know much about dancing back then, but he'd actually been surprisingly good. She hoped she could bring him back to that state now.

Ferris seemed only slightly comforted by Vianna's blue eyes starting to sparkle at him the way he loved so much, only able to lift his spirits slightly as he was now completely worried that he'd embarrass the girl during their first dance together. He let his hands be led to her waist by her smaller ones, only vaguely aware of the chuckles emerging from the crowd, his brown eyes unable to leave her blue ones. He wasn't going to break the gaze if she wasn't. He couldn't even fathom it, his mind now only concentrated on the way her hands felt sliding up to his neck, slowly but surely falling back into that comfortable way of holding Vianna as he usually did. Growing a little more calm, he pulled Vianna closer to himself, a bit hesitantly, listening as she asked him to surprise her for a second time.

She remembered.

A quirky, very Ferris-like smile fell onto the boy's features then, his heart skipping a beat as he realized that she too was thinking of their first date together, their first dance. And he seemed to forget that they had an audience, his dark brown eyes never leaving her bright blue ones, admiring the sight of her beaming face smiling up at him. After a few moments of this, he finally began to move his feet to the music along with her. It wasn't anything special, fancy, or particularly talented, but it wasn't that bad. He didn't trip either of them, and he didn't appear to be accidently hurting himself in anyway, which was always something to worry about with Ferris. It was small, understated, very simple, but extraordinarily sweet as they clearly couldn't tear their eyes away from one another and the dance had suddenly been put on the back burner. That wasn't priority right now. No, right now, Ferris was only concentrated on the girl right before him, the girl who was staring at him with those eyes that he loved so much, with that expression he couldn't get enough of.

ooc: Gahhhh iFailll!! I forgot to comment to your last OOC!!
But yeah that film..... forget Fervi's wedding, that is what you call emotional and inspiring right there! -Dramatically bursts into tears and blows nose obnoxiously- We'll get a Golden Globe!

Vianna was, once again, completely endeared by that quirky smile her husband flashed in her direction, able to see through his dark brown eyes how the audience slowly seemed to disappear, how he seemed to fall into that state they usually fell into when they were alone. It was just them, just them in a world of pure bliss where there was no one else and nothing else to ruin their time together, everything was perfect, everything was flawless. And the girl's smile widened as Ferris began to move along with the music, working in sync with the girl's own movements. And it was true that they weren't necessarily like a prince and a princess from a fairy tale dancing in some fancy ball, but they were still one of the most endearing sights their audience had ever seen. It wasn't about their dancing anymore, or about how gracefully they moved; it was about that strong connection there seemed to be between the two of them, about how they couldn't seem to rip their gaze off one another, how perfectly well they worked together when they were in a world of their own, how much love and adoration for the other person radiated between them. It was something only very few couples could do, to radiate their love for each other like that, but Fervi did it without even trying.

And it was during that dance, as the couple moved on the dance floor one in sync with the other, that many people in the audience seemed to realize just how perfect this match was. There was no one better for them than each other, no two people could fit so perfectly well with each other as Ferris and Vianna did, no two people could so easily read each other's thoughts, expressions, fears, and hopes the way they could. They were one being, one love divided into two physical forms, and they belonged to each other like the two perfectly-matching puzzle pieces they were, both emotionally and physically.

OOC: I was like...alright, 'tis cool Dee..pshh yeah, totes, I don't..need to...get a re-response *sniff*
But we'd totally get a Golden Globe! I mean, we could be like Jackie Chan and Jayden Smith!!!!!

*reads post*
Awwww Deeeeeeeeee it's soooo cutttteeeee! *girl moment* Psh that last paragraph is like....Awwwww.....!

Ferris didn't remember their audience, didn't seem to notice the fact that everyone had gone silent in the afternoon air, that a soft of hush had fallen over all of their guests. He'd never felt so...whole before. And that was the perfect word for it. He'd never felt as though he was completely whole, that he had everything he could ever need, as much as he felt at that moment. She was his missing puzzle piece, she was everything he wanted and would ever need, he just knew it, and now...she was his wife. The boy couldn't take his eyes off her, he couldn't tear his focus away from the beauty before him who was watching him with those blue eyes. It was her dress, just the way it fit her, and the way her long brown hair moved in the soft afternoon breeze....It was everything about her that attracted him more immensely than he'd anticipated for that moment.

His heart was going at twice its normal pace, his stomach had fallen away from him long ago, and the only thing that was real to him at the moment was Vianna, right there, in his arms. "You're so beautiful Vi," Ferris admitted to her in a murmur, his brown eyes sparkling at her as a couple of his soft curls fell into his features. One of his hands came up from her waist to gently cup her jaw, completely unaware of anyone else watching them as he softly began to stroke her soft skin. "I have never seen you so...stunning," he told her breathlessly, his forehead coming to rest on her own with a sweet smile on his face.

ooc: !!! AWWWWW!! -Pets Ruthless- I'm sorry! I'd gotten started on my response but I accidentally deleted it with the rest of the post and eh… let's just say my iFail hasn't let me down once. Jackie Chan and Jayden…. That's perfect!
Awwwwwwwww! -Purrs- Thanks! I was feeling all mushy and inspired!

Vianna was in a cloud. She wasn't at her wedding, she wasn't in France (that's where the wedding's taking place, right?), she was in a cloud where it was only the two of them and no one else, no one to intrude on their time together, to break that strong connection between the two of them. And the young girl remained like this for a number of long moments, it could've been hours or minutes for all she knew, she wasn't paying attention to that. Her attention was entirely on this handsome young man she'd just married, on how amazing it was that she got to call him her husband now.

The young girl listened quietly as he softly murmured to her that she was beautiful, causing the girl's bright smile to widen, her blue eyes to sparkle further, in the way only Ferris could get them to sparkle. Her smile turned warmer as his hand gently met her jaw, stroking her smooth skin as he mentioned that he'd never seen the girl look so stunning. Vianna gave a bit of a grin at this, obviously quite charmed by the boy and flattered by his words. "You're not looking too bad yourself, Professor," the girl replied, almost teasingly. She was quiet for a couple more moments before speaking again, "And I can't wait to start showing you off! I want the world to see what a handsome man I've married," she added a little more playfully, giving a soft chuckle. Her feet continued moving in rhythm with the music, smoothly, gracefully, without any thought process going into it, it was all just natural movement.

Except, there was no music.
Turns out, the band had stopped playing a short while ago, but Fervi had been so distracted in their own little world that they seemed not to have noticed it, still dancing to music that wasn't even playing. And the audience seemed amused by this, though none of the Vincenzis or the Vescovis seemed to have the heart to break the couple apart. But how could they, when they looked so peaceful, so madly and hopelessly in love in a moment that seemed so private they almost felt like they were intruding just by even glancing at the couple.

ooc: I'm off for now, Rutherssssssssss!! I'll be back tomorrowww!!

OOC: The iFail! I'd nearly forgotten about that! Bahahaha, you're totally Jackie Chan now, you can just call me JaySmit from now on.
Don't worry about the post erasing problem!
I'll see you then, byyyeee Deeee/Jackie!

Ferris couldn't help but grin as Vianna's own smile seemed to widen with his words, as a sparkle came to her eyes that got his heart to jump inside his chest once more. How did she get to be that gorgeous? It was unfair that with just a flash of her smile or a sparkle of her eyes, she could get him to practically melt on the spot, to fall into a daze. He was taken out of it however, as she spoke, mentioning that he wasn't looking all that bad himself, a statement that got his eyebrows to raise playfully, an amused smile sweeping onto his pale expression. It was then that she added that she couldn't wait to show the world what a handsome man she'd married, to show him off to everyone.

"Oh, Vi, I'm sorry," he said with a mock grimace and a shake of his head. "Didn't you hear?" Ferris added with mock sympathy in his playful tones. "I lost all the weight just to fit in my tux, I'm planning on letting myself go after today," the boy explained to her playfully, as though he was a very uptight bride who'd been dieting for this day in particular and had every intention of letting herself go for the rest of their married life. "I had a plan to sit on the couch all day, eating bon-bons and slacking off on my duties as as housewife," Ferris explained, flashing her a grin.

Just as he was about to elaborate on this plan further, Nathan's voice cut in from the crowd, "Why are they still dancing?" he asked bluntly, in a very little-boyish manner, obviously not getting that this was a rather romantic, beautifully private moment. About half of the women at the wedding (who all knew Nathan like he was their own child) shushed the boy immediately, a little entranced by this gorgeous moment between the couple of the hour.

It was with this interruption that Ferris really snapped out of his little world that only contained Vianna, his brown eyes turning up to see that the crowd was still staring at them, all seventy-five pairs of eyes (give or take a few). And where had the music gone? Oh...the song had ended...His eyes widened slightly at this and he gave the crowd a very sheepish chuckle, realizing that they must've still been swaying to a beat that had stopped long ago. "Oh..." he murmured with a soft, amused smile on his face as he turned back to Vianna. But he couldn't bring himself to be embarrassed, not when he was this extraordinarily happy.

ooc: Aight, JaySmit!

Vianna, who was still dancing merrily to music only playing in her head, listened with amusement sparkling in her blue eyes as Ferris playfully explained to her that he lost all the weight just to fix in his tux, that he was planning on letting himself go after today. At this unexpected and beyond amusing confession, Vianna rose her light eyebrows at the boy. "Is that so?" she muttered quietly before he went on, explaining to her that he had a plan to sit on the couch all day and slacking off on his duties as a housewife. Vianna's jaw dropped with mock disbelief now. "I can't believe you'd do that, Professor! You… you tricked me!" she said, indignantly, as if the boy had just committed a great offense, though it was obvious by her tone that she was just playing along. "Now how will I explain to my friends that I ended up marrying someone who's not nearly half as handsome as I originally thought he was?!"

But it was then that a familiar voice cut through that bubble the couple seemed to be stuck in at the moment; it was Nathan, asking why the couple was still dancing. It was like hearing a record scratch; Vianna blinked, snapping out of her daze, her smile fading slightly as she turned her gaze to the band. They were quiet. Then to the audience watching them. They were quiet as well. Oh… Vianna turned back to Ferris then, giving a soft and slightly flustered chuckle. "I think we should probably let the others dance now," she muttered sheepishly, unable to wipe the amused smile on her face. But with Fervi still dancing along to music that wasn't even playing, the other guests didn't want to interrupt and so no one had dared to dance yet, all waiting for the couple to finish. Smiling, Vianna took Ferris's hand into her own and began to lead the way off the dance floor just as the band began to play again, this time more cheery tunes rather than the slow music they'd been playing for the bride's and groom's first dance.

OOC:

Ferris gave a brief nod and a weak chuckle as Vianna suggested that they let the other guests dance at that time, "Yeah..." he agreed with an amused smile, willingly letting himself be pulled from center stage by Vianna. But he wanted nothing more to just be around her at this point, to never have to leave her side, and followed her over to the bride and groom's table towards the front of the dance floor. The boy intwined their fingers gently, leaning forward to sneak a kiss onto the girl's cheek lovingly, unable to help himself. But there she was, again, being undeniably beautiful, and he couldn't help but admire her as they took their seats at the head table.

His heart was marching at twice its normal place, a warm smile firmly planted on his pale expression as he let his chocolate brown eyes scan their guests beginning to dance to the loud music coming from the band. But there wasn't much that could keep Ferris's gaze away from the girl at his side, and just moments later he'd turned his eyes back to Vianna, bringing up their intwined hands to gently kiss the back of her own.

ooc: !

Vianna smiled brightly as she led the way over to her and Ferris's table, her smile widening as the boy awarded her a kiss on the cheek. That surreal feeling about being married was beginning to wear off now, she was finally starting to believe that this had really happened, that it wasn't a dream. And now, instead of feeling dazed and as if she was in an alternate universe, the girl was having those feelings replaced with pure happiness and joy, with the need to celebrate that finally, after these past couple years, her biggest dream had just come true.

The girl was watching the people dancing on the dance floor absentmindedly, watching with amusement and Giuliana tried to teach Luca the steps but the boy just kept stepping on her dress instead; her parents were somewhere off to the corner, looking rather amusing - a short, round little man with a smile that could make anyone forget about their troubles, dancing with a woman a whole head taller than him, slender and almost doll-like. But just in the looks they exchanged, in the smiles they traded, Vianna could see the love radiating from one person to the other. Vince was dancing with his new girlfriend, some blonde girl from Portugal two years his senior, Victor and Airi seemed to be the only normal pair in that small group, and Leonardo was pestering Elliot, who looked positively horrified and immediately took Margaret to the dance floor with him in order to avoid Vianna's loony cousin. The rest of the Vincenzis and the Vescovis were either wandering around, chatting, admiring their surroundings, listening to the music, or sitting at their tables engaging in conversation and eating.

Vianna was distracted from all of this, though, as the boy at her side lifted their intwined hands and placed a kiss on the back of hers, causing the girl's bright smile to return to her face, radiating all the joy in the world. "You have no idea how happy I am right now, Professor," said the girl quietly, honestly. "I don't want this day to end."

Ferris's town apparently knew how to party. Naturally genial people, they took no hesitation in getting into conversation with Vianna's family and friends. All of Ferris's closest friends were there, out on the dance floor or sitting at the tables beginning to eat and drink merrily. He couldn't help but be completely amused by them, watching a few select people as they interacted with the Vincenzis and Vescovis. Mr. Nordoff was sitting at a table in deep conversation with one of Vianna's grandfathers, attempting to discuss a rather old book, obviously very into the debate. Nathan's mother was over with a few other ladies at the refreshment table, but little Nathan was on the dancefloor, attempting to sneak his way next to Giuliana.

And a lot of Ferris's extended family had actually been able to make it. Not many, as the side of the Montgomery family they were in contact with wasn't all that large, but his Aunt Rachel was there; a beautiful, honey-blonde woman who was out on the dancefloor, dancing with Mrs. Montgomery with a rather carefree air about her, obviously having the time of her life. And the young man's grandparents on his mother's side had come to join the party, speaking at one of the tables with the ice cream parlor owner in the town.

The boy had yet to really introduce Vianna to all of them just yet, as right at that moment he was a little distracted, admiring the girl as she informed him that he had no idea how happy she was, that she didn't want the day to end. He grinned at her, his dimples coming into view immediately as his brown eyes seemed to sparkle at her, "The feeling is mutual," he promised, still holding her hand up to his face, planting a couple more sweet kisses to it lovingly. How could he not be completely happy though? He was married. Married! Finally, after two years of waiting anxiously, the day had finally come. It was official and the beautiful girl at his side was his wife.

Vianna grinned as Ferris shared with her that the feeling, this of being happy and not wanting the day to end, was mutual. Could life possibly get any more perfect right now? The girl doubted it. Everything was simply too wonderful right now to compare to anything else, nothing she had ever experienced before could compare to how she felt getting married to the boy, placing the ring on his finger and hearing him say 'I do'. It was magical.

"It looks like everyone's getting along, too," said the girl, her blue eyes wandering over their surroundings yet again, watching how all of their guests and family members were interacting with one another, smiling as she watched them share laughs and dances. "Oh and by the way, you did great up there," she added, turning back to Ferris and referring to their dance. "I told you you could do it, Professor!" she added with a grin. "I think I might even dare say you were better than at Nordoff's!"

He let out a soft chuckle as Vianna mentioned that he'd done a great job dancing, that she could say that he was even better than at Nordoff's. He shook his head, amusement evident in his pale expression at her words, "It was just swaying," he shrugged off with a sheepish smile, though his brown eyes were sparkling still as they reviewed the girl at his side. Ferris couldn't keep his eyes off her. Once he'd glanced at her, it took much more than he'd expected to look away from the sight of her pretty face. And it was pretty obvious to everyone around them, the love that was so clearly written on the young man's face.

"But you're right...everyone looks pretty happy," he admitted softly, though his eyes never left her. After a moment of thinking, the young man seemed to decide that Vianna was a little too far away for his liking. He kept her hand within his own, but he also found himself pulling her chair a little closer and closer until she was right at his side. Realizing that she had probably noticed this, Ferris gave a bit of a playful grin, raising his eyebrows just slightly as though saying 'Yeah, I'm pulling you over to me, what're you gonna do about it?'.

Before he could speak, a middle-aged blonde woman ran over to them from the dance floor, emerging from the crowd with a large grin on her face. "Hey Mr. Married Man!" Aunt Rachel called out playfully as she neared the couple with a soft chuckle. Ferris turned his head, giving a small grin at the sight of his Aunt approaching them, his mother trailing behind and soon catching up. They looked alike, but not in an obvious way. Their features were similar, but very different all at the same time. Rachel had blonde hair, Jenny had red, where Jenny was covered in freckles, Rachel had smooth, tan skin and their eyes were complete opposites; Ferris's mother's were dark brown and Rachel's were electric blue. But their expressions were very similar, especially when they both smiled at the newly-weds, standing in front of their table. "Who do you think you are, not introducing me to the bride?!" Aunt Rachel asked, raising her eyebrows playfully at the young man in front of her. "If you weren't my nephew, I'd be completely and totally offended, I hope you know," she teased.

Ferris gave a soft chuckle at this, amusement sparkling behind his brown eyes, "I'm sorry," he apologized, playfullness in his tones. "I was a little busy getting married," he joked before turning to exchange a lookw with Vianna. "This is Vianna, if you hadn't gathered that already," he announced, admiration in his gaze as he watched the girl at his side.

"Well, it's a pleasure to meet you, Vianna!" Aunt Rachel announced with a friendly grin, extending a hand across the small table and towards the young bride.

Vianna chuckled softly as Ferris decided that his dancing wasn't a big deal, that he'd just been swaying. The young girl shook her head slightly at him, still clearly amused before she returned her gaze to the dance floor, watching all of the familiar and unfamiliar faces dancing and having a good time. She seemed not to notice Ferris's fixed gaze upon her, growing a little distracted by the sight of all the people on the dance floor, only snapping out of it as she felt herself move. Brows furrowing slightly in mild confusion, the girl turned to the boy at her side, only to find him much closer than last time she'd seen him. She laughed lightly at that playful expression taking over his features. "You think you can just drag me around wherever you want, don't you?!" she asked accusingly, playfully.

The girl was soon distracted from this, though, as a blonde woman approached the pair, soon to be joined by Mrs. Montgomery. Vianna was just very slightly able to see the resemblance between the two women, though she couldn't really seem to figure out that the blonde woman was actually Ferris's Aunt Rachel until she spoke, mentioning that the boy was her nephew. Vianna's eyebrows rose slightly then, realization dawning on her features. So this was the boy's aunt! Suddenly the girl felt herself grow just the slightest bit nervous, but that was normal and had become a habit whenever she was meeting someone new from Ferris's life, she didn't want to make a bad impression with his family or friends, after all.

As the boy then proceeded to introduce her to his aunt, and the woman extended out a hand to Vianna, the young girl got up to her feet, not wanting to be rude and just sit there when someone was greeting her; her parents wouldn't agree of such behaviour. "It's very nice to meet you too," the girl replied politely, taking the older woman's hand into her own and shaking it for a short second, a bright and friendly smile on her lightly-tanned face, but a second later she turned to the boy at her side and a little more quietly added, "I can't believe your aunt was here and you didn't introduce us!" she said, as if Ferris had just committed a horrible crime.

Aunt Rachel's blonde eyebrows rose just slightly as Vianna got to her feet to greet her, being extraordinarily polite in a way she hadn't expected. But she seemed rather pleased with it, amusement in her expression as she watched the young girl turn to her husband and mention her disbelief that he hadn't introduced her to his aunt before that moment. Ferris, who had been sitting there, admiring his wife with a bit of a daze to his brown eyes (obviously completely endeared with her manners), gave a bit of a jump as he was suddenly addressed. "I was a little busy!" he defended playfully, referring to the fact that he'd been getting married. He gave a soft chuckle as his Aunt Rachel shook her blonde hair.

"No, no, I was just teasing you," she assured the pair, not wanting to give the impression that she was honestly offended. "But it really is nice to meet you, Vianna," the woman said truthfully, giving a brief nod and a warm smile. "Fer's been a little busy, but Jen's informed me through letters for the past couple years about you two," Aunt Rachel explained with a bit of a grin.

"Yes, I've told her all of those little embarrassing things about you two," Mrs. Montgomery piped in playfully, stealing a raspberry off a platter in front of her son and popping it into his mouth.

"We don't have embarrassing things," the young man denied, gently tugging on Vianna's hand as a silent request for her to join him once more.

Vianna listened with a bit of relief as Ferris's Aunt Rachel assured them that she was only teasing them, adding on that she really was glad to meet her. The young girl smiled warmly at this, and she listened as she went on to explain that even though Ferris had been a little busy, his mother had informed her through letters about the two of them for the past couple years. Vianna's eyebrows rose slightly at this, though she smiled brightly, glad that she wasn't completely a stranger to the woman, that her nephew wasn't marrying someone she was completely in the dark about.

But it was then that Mrs. Montgomery spoke, adding teasingly how she had told her sister all of the little embarrassing things about them, and Vianna's eyes widened slightly. In these past couple years that Vianna had gotten to know Mrs. Montgomery, she knew the woman liked to tease her and Ferris a lot, but she couldn't help feeling a little paranoid about exactly what 'embarrassing' things she might've told her sister about. Suddenly a slightly bit flustered, Vianna gave a weak, sheepish chuckle and sat down as Ferris tugged at her hand gently. "I think Ferris and I have cut down the number of embarrassing things we do over the years," Vianna assured them, not wanting the blonde woman to think that Fervi were still that ungraceful dorky pair they were only two years ago. But… they weren't, right? They were less clumsy and more poised now, right? Vianna didn't seem too sure of it, and at this point she was just trying to convince herself of it. "I don't think we've tripped or fallen in a while, have we?" she asked, turning to Ferris for reassurance that they weren't a totally hopeless pair.

Mrs. Montgomery gave a bit of a grin at the pair's reaction; Vianna's blue eyes widening with slight worry and Ferris's immediate denial of anything embarrassing. They were far too amusing. Everyone turned to the new bride as she mentioned aloud that they had cut down on the number of embarrassing things they did over the years. "Depends on what your definition of embarrassing is," Mrs. Montgomery teased playfully, a grin on her freckled face. "I mean, Fer's pretty darn embarrassing no matter what you do with him," she continued, at which point her son scowled playfully. "I hope that it doesn't rub off on you, dear," she added with a flash of her smile.

"Shut up," he grumbled, rolling his eyes with an amused smile before turning to Vianna as she mentioned that they hadn't tripped or fallen in a while, asking for confirmation. At this, Ferris gave a sheepish smile. "I tripped on the way up to the reception," he admitted with a boyish grin.

"See? He's so embarrassing," Mrs. Montgomery piped in playfully. Ferris shot her a look filled with mock aggravation.

"Oh, would you two quit it?" Aunt Rachel interrupted, an amused grin on her tan face at the sight of mother and son bickering playfully the way they so often did. "No..Jen didn't tell me anything bad, I promise," the woman assured the pair before her, officially getting a mock disappointed sigh from her sister who was attempting to scare the newlyweds with the idea of sharing embarrassing tales. "Just the cute stuff," she added, a statement that got Ferris's eyebrows to raise. "You know, all that stuff about my little nephew Fer turning into a mush."

Vianna's jaw dropped slightly as Ferris confessed that he'd tripped on his way up to the reception, completely proving to the girl that they weren't really getting any better at being graceful at all. But she was soon distracted from this as Mrs. Montgomery spoke again, teasing her son, and the two of them fell into a short exchange of words before Aunt Rachel spoke again, asking them to quit it. Vianna giggled lightly, amused by the Montgomerys and listening as the blonde woman went on to assure them that her sister hadn't told her anything bad, just 'cute stuff' and about how her nephew was turning into a mush. Vianna chuckled softly once again, far too amused by the way the boy's mother and aunt teased him so mercilessly, and she was brought back in time to their first couple months together, when they were always accused of being the mushiest couple anyone had ever seen, when Mrs. Montgomery, especially, teased her son about being a mush. And to this day, it all still amused the girl to no end. Though their mushiness was one thing she never hoped to change. She liked that about her relationship with Ferris. However, that didn't stop the girl from teasing him, "She's right, Fer. You're a mush, it's kind of a turn off, to be honest," she said, making a face, as if talking about something completely disgusting, before dropping the act with a soft chuckle and placing a kiss on the boy's cheek.

Ferris was just admiring Vianna's pretty expression as she giggled, growing slightly distracted with this sight before she very bluntly agreed with his mother and Aunt, explaining that he really was a mush and it was kind of a turn off to her. His jaw fell at the statement, his brown eyes dropping any admiration as both his mother and Aunt began to fall into a fit of loud laughter, giving an "Ohhhhh!" in unison at what they found to be an endlessly amusing comment from Vianna.

"You're on their side?!" the young man said with widened brown eyes, his jaw still dropped though there was reluctant amusement falling behind his gaze. A turn off!? She was supposed to like his mushiness, she's the one who married him!

"Oh, I believe she is Fer," Mrs. Montgomery responded with a grin, obviously just teasing him, still chuckling softly. "Anyway, we're going to go try and find your father so he doesn't miss out on meeting everyone," the woman explained, still obviously completely amused by Vianna's statement.

"It was nice to meet you, Vianna, I'm sure I'll have a wonderful time in the future, teasing Ferris with you," Aunt Rachel spoke, flashing the girl a grin and patting her nephew on the back with a soft chuckle before she and Mrs. Montgomery took their leave and disappeared back into the crowd.

"You're supposed to like my mushiness!" Ferris spoke, his playfully surprised dark brown eyes still widened slightly even after she kissed his cheek. Mock offense on his pale expression, he shook his head at her as though he was betrayed.

Vianna couldn't stop herself from falling into a fit of amused giggles as the other two women joining them fell into a fit of loud laughter, further teasing their son and nephew as he disbelievingly asked the girl if she was on their side. But Vianna couldn't even speak at this point, she was far too amused, and she couldn't stop herself from giggling, rather even endeared by that playfully offended look that took over her husband's expression. But the girl's giggles eventually died out, leaving her cheeks even rosier than usual, and she listened as Mrs. Montgomery mentioned that she and her sister were going to go look for her husband, before Aunt Rachel spoke once again, giving the girl a good-bye and mentioning how she was looking forward to teasing her nephew further with her. Smiling politely and with a few soft chuckles escaping her lips, Vianna nodded her head before turning back to Ferris who was now accusingly reminding the girl that she was supposed to like his mushiness.

"I love your mushiness, Professor!" said Vianna, putting on a face of mock surprise. "I don't understand what could possibly make you think I don't," she added innocently, as if she hadn't just said that his mushiness was a turn off just a moment ago. A few giggles escaped her lips again then, highly amused by all of this before she turned quiet once again, letting out a soft sigh through smiling lips. "I guess we have a lot of introductions to do, don't we?" she said, referring to the many friends and family members attending the party who the couple weren't even familiar with yet.

Ferris gave a soft, disbelieving chuckle as Vianna assured him that she loved his mushiness, adding innocently that she didn't understand what could've made him think she didn't like his mushiness. "You're lucky I like you so much," the young man grumbled with an amused smile on his pale face, his dimples coming out of hiding on his pale face. He listened as she seemed to move onto another topic, mentioning with a bit of a sigh that they had a lot of introductions to go through. "Yeah, probably," the boy said with a shrug, amusement still in his gaze. "But I'm still a little concerned with the fact that I just married a girl who finds my naturally mushiness to be a complete turn off!" Ferris complained with a bit of a grin, obviously just being playful, amusement in his expression.

"What am I gonna do with you?" he asked with a shake of his head, giving a soft chuckle as he admired the sight of Vianna without realizing he was.

Vianna laughed as Ferris went on to add that he was still concerned about the fact that he'd just married a girl who found his mushiness to be a turn off, before then going on to ask what he was going to do with her. The young girl giggled now, completely amused by the boy's mock concerns and complaints. "I'm sorry, Professor, I don't think I can help you there," said the girl in response to his last question, leaning over the short distance between them and placing her lips upon his own. She let them rest there a moment longer than necessary before pulling back, a bright smile adorning her lightly tanned face. She was simply too happy right now, too joyful to wipe the smile off her face even for a second. But how could she, when she was finally living out her dream?

But if Fervi were hoping to have any peaceful alone time now, they were completely wrong. The wedding was still going on, and they had too many people who wanted to pass by and congratulate them, which was exactly what began happening then. Friends and family members would come up to them every now and then, congratulating the couple on their marriage, wishing them the best and sharing how happy they were for them. Amongst those people was Giuliana, who had long given up on trying to have a proper dance with Luca and had decided instead to come and squeeze her cousin into a tight hug, congratulating the young girl in Italian before turning to Ferris and flashing him a friendly smile. "I hope you're happy, English Boy, you're very very lucky to have this girl, you hear?" she said quite proudly, as if her cousin was her most prized possession.

"Gi…" muttered Vianna with a soft chuckle, a bit sheepishly.

"No, no, it's true, Vi," said Giuliana. "You can't imagine how disappointed half of Sicily was when the news came around that you were getting married," she added with a grin before chuckling softly. "But you know what? I'm not surprised," she added. "First time I saw you two together, back at home, I had a feeling it wouldn't be a months-long relationship. You were an unusual pair, but you fit together somehow," she explained, giving the pair a smile before there it faded slightly as there was a 'Giuliana!' in the background, apparently someone was calling the girl over. "Sė, mamma?" the girl called back before leaving the pair, off to meet with her mother.

Vianna watched her cousin go and turned to Ferris with a small smile. "I'm gonna go get something to drink, Professor," she said, getting up from her seat then.

Ferris felt his heart jump in his own chest as Vianna playfully informed him that she couldn't help him with his problems of trying to figure out what to do with her, watching as she leaned in towards him to place her lips on his own. He returned the kiss lovingly on contact, feeling his heart beat speed up just at the feel of her lips on his own. But before much longer, the beautiful girl had broken apart from him only to flash him one of those smiles of hers. He returned it in his own quirky way, his dimples coming into view as he admired the girl next to him, about to speak when the crowd of people began to come by. Letting out a soft sigh, he tried to remind himself that he'd have all of their honeymoon to spend admiring Vianna.

It was then that Giuliana jumped up over to them, immediately taking Vianna in a large squeeze of a hug and announcing to Ferris that he should be happy as he was a very very lucky guy to have Vianna. He grinned at this comment, admiring the rather sheepish smile that came to his wife's face, "Trust me, I know," he admitted, brown eyes sparkling at the pair and listening as Giuliana explained that half of Sicily was disappointed to hear that Vianna Vincenzi was getting married. "I can believe that," he replied with a soft chuckle; but it wasn't much of a secret that Vianna was amazing and Ferris knew that better than anyone. He knew he'd gotten the best person in the world for a wife, but it hadn't exactly sunk in fully yet. He found himself growing rather flattered as Giuliana then pointed out how good they were together, that even the moment she saw them both as a couple she knew that they'd last. "Thank you."

Warm smile on his face, Ferris watched as Giuliana made her leave, and turned his brown eyes to Vianna as she stood up and announced that she was going to get something to drink. Admiring the sight of her, he gently kissed her hand sweetly before releasing it with a soft sigh, "Alright, hurry back," he requested softly, seeming rather reluctant to let her go.

Vianna couldn't help but chuckle as Ferris asked her to hurry back, as if she was going somewhere far or something of the sort. The young girl left his side then and made her way over to one of the long, white-clothed tables covered in food, where it was no surprise to her that Vince and Luca were already there serving themselves food. Vianna took an empty glass into her hand then and was just about to fill it with water when the two boys seemed to apparate out of nowhere at her side, taking the girl's glass from her hand. "Allow me," said Vince, filling the girl's glass with a clear liquid.

Vianna furrowed her brows at him. "Vince, I'm not stupid! I know that's not water!" she said, an accusation to which Vince's jaw dropped with mock offense.

"But Vi, it's your wedding!"

"I'm not going to get drunk on my own wedding!"

It was then that Costa apparated right on cue, handing Vianna a new glass filled with water. "Signora," she said, bowing her little head. Vianna smiled warmly and took the glass into her hand, giving Costa a polite thank you before turning back to her brother and Luca, only to find the two boy's sneaking firewhisky into people's glasses when they weren't watching, some of their victims including the Vescovi grandparents. Vianna rolled her eyes at the two of them, not at all surprised by their childish behaviour before returning to her seat beside Ferris, taking a sip from her water.
