Ferris rolled his eyes with amusement as the girl giggled and laid her head down on his shoulder as though nothing had happened. And nothing seemed to be wrong, but he knew he gave into the girl terribly easily. He let out a soft scowl, with full amusement behind it as his eyes returned to her, "You're just so.....adorable," he said the word as though it was something dark and to be ashamed of, his eyes slightly narrowed as he tried to figure out why he could just go back to her so easily. |
"I know," Vianna replied playfully with another giggle, amused by how easily the boy let her get away with her many pranks. She then pulled her head up from his shoulder and flashed him a smile. "But you're more adorable," she added, giving him another kiss on the cheek. Her eyes scanned his features for a moment before returning her head to his shoulder with the smile still resting on her face. |
Ferris shook his head gently as the girl wholeheartedly agreed with him, amusement in his pale features as he admired her. But before he knew it, there was a kiss placed on his cheek and she had told him that he was more adorable. Completely charmed and flattered as he often was when told something like this by the girl, he grinned. He quickly snapped out of it though, a straight face coming back moments later, "But there has to be revenge, Vi," he told her seriously, "No matter how flattering or....cute...or attractive you are to me; there will be revenge." |
Vianna's eyebrows rose and her jaw dropped as Ferris gave her a straight face, telling her that there had to be revenge for her prank on him. "I didn't know my Professor to be so vengeful!" she gasped with mock surprise before allowing her features to light up with one of her amused smiles. "And what would that be, hmm?" she asked, curious as to how the boy might get back at her. |
"Yes, that's correct, I'm very vengeful," he replied with a nod, as the girl expressed her disbelief that he could even be vengeful. He smiled slightly at her though, amusement clear in his eyes as she asked what that would be, "I'm not going to tell you!" he said with a light chuckle. "What kind of revenge would that be?" he asked her rhetorically, amused. He leaned forward and kissed her sweetly, "But it's going to be good, my dear, you can count on that," he told her vaguely as they broke apart. OOC: I'm off Deeeee!!!!!!!! Byyyeeeee! :bye: |
Vianna couldn't help but laugh aloud as Ferris denied telling her what his revenge would be, as that would kind of defeat the purpose of it all. She smiled as he pulled away after rewarding her with a kiss, now telling her that she could count on it being good. Vianna cringed slightly. She couldn't imagine Ferris as a prankster, but the thought of it did make her rather uneasy. "You're worrying me, Professor," she told him, returning her head to his shoulder. ooc: Byeeeee, Ruthersss! :bye: |
"Well, you shouldn't have drawn on my face," Ferris responded as she told him he was worrying her. Though honestly, she had nothing to worry about. Ferris had always been bad at pranks, he could never pull one off, because it just wasn't his nature. It never worked for him. And right now, he had absolutely no ways to get back at the girl, though he wouldn't tell her that. He kept his arms snugly around her small waist, now not able to fall back asleep. "Should we leave?" he asked her, not making any movement. OOC: MGMT avvie! *swoon* |
Vianna laughed lightly as Ferris retorted that she shouldn't have drawn on his face in the first place, the mischief sparkling in her eyes; she was still rather proud of herself for getting away with it. As Ferris then asked if they should get going, the girl left his shoulder and sat up on the bed. "I think we should," she agreed with a nod, a smile on her face. "That is, of course, if one lazy Professor feels up to taking that ride," she added teasingly. ooc:  Yahh. <3 |
It took a moment for Ferris to decide whether or not he wanted to get up yet, listening as the girl told him she thought it would be best if they left, adding that this could only happen if he felt like taking the ride over there. He stuck his tongue out at her playfully before sitting up, climbing out of the bed with a small yawn as he stretched up to the ceiling. He smiled at the girl who was still on the bed for half a moment, admiring her for a quick moment before diverting his gaze to his shoes. |
Vianna, too, stretched, letting out a yawn before pulling her shoes back on and getting up to her feet. She headed out of the room and to the kitchen where she conveniently found a pencil and sticky notes. She scribbled on one of the small yellow papers, then left to her brother's room and returned a moment later. "All ready, Professor?" she asked as she returned to her room. |
Ferris gave a nod as she asked if he was ready, "Yes, of course." He grabbed his broomstick which he had left by the door, taking her hand in his and walking over to the balcony. He opened the door, holding it open for her before following her out and closing it behind them. He then mounted his broom in the free area away from the tables and chairs, waiting for Vianna to follow suit. |
Vianna came to a halt as Ferris mounted his broom before following to do the same, sitting behind him and holding on tightly to the boy as usual. "And do you think we might be able to see any more constellations today?" she asked, looking forward to finding the patters in the freckled sky. |
"I don't know Vi," Ferris said, looking up towards the sky which was getting darker, already able to see a few stars. "I hope so." He smiled at her for a moment before taking off into the sky, flying high above the city and heading into the direction they had gone earlier in the day. He enjoyed the wind whipping through his curls, as it wasn't too cool yet and it was just chilly enough to be refreshing. He gazed down at the city for a moments, all of the lights beginning to come on, making it a rather sparkling sight. It took approximately six or seven minutes to reach the countryside outside of the city, and the boy landed gracefully near a tree in the middle of the grassy area. |
Vianna pouted at first when Ferris told her he wasn't sure they were going to be able to see any constellations, but she returned his smile and lowered her gaze as they rose into the air. The young girl watched the view below her feet as she often did, her eyes sparkling admiringly at the sight all through the short ride. Once they landed in the familiar countryside, she hopped off the broom and headed over to the nearby tree, taking a seat not right beside it but far enough from it where its branches wouldn't block the view up above. Distractedly, she leaned back on her hands and looked up at the darkening sky, as if waiting for a movie to begin playing on the clouds. |
Ferris watched as she nearly hopped on over to a tree, laying down beneath it, just far enough to be able to look up at the sky. He walked the broom over to the tree, leaning it up against the trunk with his eyes still settled on Vianna, amusement in his brown eyes. He finally stopped observing her, and rather walked over to her, taking a seat at her side and leaning back onto his own palms. "Alright, let's see what's clear tonight...." he murmured, suddenly concentrated as he searched the skies. |
Vianna turned her gaze away from the clearing skies to Ferris as he joined her side and welcomed the boy with a smile. Her eyes left his as he then looked up, searching the sky. She looked up as well, but of course, found nothing she could recognize. Just a lot of really pretty stars scattered randomly all over the dark skies. ooc: ERIC!!! I LOVE HIM! (And according to the quizzes on FB, I'm most like him so I guess I'm a big dork). T70S is the most hilarious show ever created. <3 |
OOC: YOU LIKE THAT 70's SHOW TOO!?!?!!?!? I love that show....it's the best. :) Ferris searched the skies for about a minute before finally finding a constellation, "Ah, there's one," he said softly. Now that it was mostly dark, the constellations were much easier to see. He pointed it out to the girl with his finger, leaning over a bit closer to her to show her a little more accurately, "That one's called Draco the Dragon." He pointed out a number of stars, starting with a trapezoid and then a tail that reached a long way across the sky, "See how it has a tail, and a little trapezoid for a head?" |
ooc: Who doesn't! Awesomeness. <3 Vianna grinned as Ferris found a constellation, her eyes sparkling with excitement. She loved finding these interesting patterns in the stars and hearing about them. Her eyes followed Ferris's finger, then falling upon the set of stars on the sky. It took her a few moments, but she was able to connect the dots and make out the shape he described. The young girl beamed at this. "It's so pretty!" she said. "What's his story?" she asked, returning her gaze to Ferris for a brief moment before turning back to the sky up ahead. |
Ferris let out a soft chuckle as the girl beside him spoke, mentioning that the constellation was 'pretty' and quickly asking what his story was. He couldn't help but smile at this, completely enthrawled that Vianna even cared about this stuff. He laid back down, as his hands were getting a little numb, and let out a small sigh of content, "Well...He has a lot of stories, Vi," he started, thinking for a moment to when he last read about Draco. "Well, first off, there's a star called 'Thuban' that's in the constellation, and it's very very close to the north pole. And since it's that close, it never sets. In ancient Egypt, one of the pharoahs was buried in a tomb, with two airshaft-looking tunnels in the pyramid that pointed up and out." He thought for another moment, trying to remember clearly, "Anyway, all of the people who discovered the tomb thought they were just airshafts, but really, one of them pointed to Draco, because the pharoahs believed the 'Thuban' to be undying, and that's what they themselves wanted. Well, they wanted to remain in Earth's celestial relm." OOC: ^_^ Btw, I'll probably be off for a half hour to an hour! I should be back though.... |
Vianna's eyebrows rose slightly as Ferris shared that this new constellation actually had more than one story. Intrigued, she returned her gaze to the boy beside her, watching as he laid down on the green grass and began narrating the constellation's story. Vianna listened quietly, intently, like a little kid enjoying a fairy tale read from their teacher. Her eyebrows rose even further and her eyes widened slightly as he neared the end, sharing how one of the tunnels pointed to the Draco constellation as the pharaohs wanted to be immortal. Vianna watched the boy beside her with wide eyes for a moment before finally reacting, "That's amazing!" she said, her blue eyes sparkling with fascination and a large smile spreading across her face. |
Ferris scanned over her fascinated expression, amazed himself, even after all they had been through, that she could find all of his hobbies and interests compelling. "I've always thought so," he agreed as she told him that was amazing, gazing over her features with amusement. "There's also a story that he represents Ladon, the guard of the tree that provided golden apples. Apparently, Hercules killed him to get to the apples." |
Vianna's eyebrows rose once again as Ferris shared with her a second story. Her brows then furrowed and her jaw hung slightly open. "Poor Draco! Nothing happened to Hercules for that?" she asked, seeing these characters more as real people than mythology. She began picking on the grass by her feet absentmindedly, gazing up at the constellation once more. |
Ferris could only laugh as the girl felt sorry for the dragon in the story, asking if Hercules had been punished for that. "I don't think so," he said, not being able to recall any consequences to the hero of that myth. "It was one of Hercules's labors or something for the gods, and he had to kill the dragon to get the apples. Besides...Draco wasn't exactly the nicest mythical creature in the bunch," he explained to her with a soft chuckle. He watched her for a moment, distracted from the night sky. |
"Oh," muttered Vianna as a new understanding took over her features as Ferris explained that Hercules had only been performing a task for the gods. But she then frowned slightly as the boy went on to add that Draco wasn't necessarily the nicest mythical creature. "Why's that?" she asked him, turning her gaze away from the grass she was picking on to the boy laying down next to her. |
Ferris thought for a moment as she asked why Draco wasn't necessarily the nicest, letting out another soft laugh, "Well, it's not that he had a bad personality or anything....That I know of," he explained, "It's just...Dragons aren't exactly snuggling little pets. They're monsters," he pointed out to her with a warm smile, amused by the girl's interest. He turned his brown eyes back to the sky above, gazing out at all of the stars which were visible now that they were miles away from the city lights. |
