Vianna was completely out of it when she was suddenly snapped back to reality by the incessant beeping noise filling the room. The young girl's brows furrowed before her eyes fluttered open, squinting in the darkness as it was still too early for the sun to be up. She was about to roll over and pull a pillow over her head when she felt her path blocked. She then remembered she wasn't the only one in the bed. "Professor?" she mumbled, still half-asleep as her hand blindly came up to meet the head of curly hair resting by her neck. |
Ferris vaguely felt a small body try to roll over him, but was still half asleep so he didn't particularly care until Vianna called his name. "Mmm?" he murmured, lifting his head just slightly from her neck. "Yes, that's...that's me. I'm...yes," he murmured incoherently before he remembered his beeping watch. He cursed softly, turning it off with a groan. "I have to go," he said with a small sigh, not wanting to leave the warm bed. OOC: I'm off Dee! Hopefully I'll be on later! Might not be though...We'll see! :) :bye: |
Vianna looked at the boy beside her as he murmured incoherently, a small smile coming to her face as her eyes began to adjust to the darkness and she was able to make out his sleepy features. But her smile faded as he announced that he had to leave. Vianna sighed and nodded her head. "Be careful," she told him softly. Somehow, it was easier to say good-bye when she was still half-asleep and not entirely aware of what was going on yet, her eyes begging to close and continue sleeping once again. ooc: Awwww, alright, Ruthersss! Byeeee! :bye: |
Ferris couldn't help but smile slightly at the sight of her sleepy face, giving a small nod as she told him to be careful. "I will," he replied quietly, watching as she quickly fell back asleep. "I'll see you in a few hours," he said softly before pressing his lips to her forehead in a warm kiss before and reluctantly climbing from the bed. He quietly made his way to the door, his eyes adjusting to the darkness on the way, and he left the room, closing the door softly behind him. |
Vianna gave Ferris one last smile as the boy told her he would see her in a few hours before giving her one last kiss on her forehead and then heading out of the room. The girl's eyes closed as she watched him go and it was only a matter of seconds before she was deep asleep once again, though in those few seconds that she was still half conscious, she came to miss the warmth from the boy that had once been beside her. |
Ferris crept quietly back into his room, closing the door softly behind him before climbing into his own bed. He fell asleep for the remaining couple of hours, sleeping just out of exhaustion, but he started to miss having something in his arms. So he could be seen holding a pillow to his chest and he slept dreamlessly. |
The next couple of hours felt more like they had been brief minutes as Vianna was awoken by the sound of her name. Victor was standing beside her by the bed, shaking her shoulder gently. "Vi, wake up," he called to her. Vianna groaned and squinted her crystal blue eyes open only to find her oldest brother calling her. She yawned and sat up on the bed, rubbing the sleepiness off her eyes. "Shower, get changed, and eat something. We're leaving soon," instructed Victor before heading back out of the room; he, of course, was already showered and changed and ready to go. Vince wasn't. With a rather groggy look on his face, the boy made his way over to Ferris's room as Victor had instructed him, and knocked loudly on the wooden door. "Ferris Wheel, wake up!" he yelled to it before letting out a yawn and heading to the bathroom where he proceeded to shower. |
Ferris was awoken rather abruptly at the sound of his least favorite nickname and a banging at the door. Letting out a groan, he sat up slightly, suddenly missing how he was awoken the day before: nicely with Vianna's fingers in his hair. He let out a small sigh before getting out of the bed and heading into his bathroom. He brushed his teeth before climbing into the shower. Once done with that, he dressed and grabbed his luggage which he had hardly unpacked during their two-day stay. He then walked out of the boys' room and into the hallway, waiting for the others; or rather, Vianna. Ferris sat down sleepily in the hallway, wearing jeans and a long sleeved gray, green, and blue argyle sweater, legs outstretched in front of him. |
Vianna had just finished dressing when she began gathering her belongings while Victor was in the kitchen performing the annoying task of feeding his sister's spoiled squirrel its breakfast. Fluffy stood patiently on the counter waiting as the boy served him a small plate of fruit. But Fluffy didn't like fruit, and he wanted marshmallows. So the squirrel stretched out its paws against a neatly cut piece of an apple and pushed it until it fell over the counter and to the floor; he then moved on to push the rest of the fruit to the floor. Victor merely stared at the creature with his jaw on the floor. "Vianna!" Vianna hurried out of her room at the sound of her brother's voice. "Oh no, Victor, Fluffy eats marshmallows, not fruit!" she said, grabbing a handful of marshmallows from the night before and handing them to Fluffy who greedily took the snacks into his paws. Victor merely rolled his eyes and headed over to the door. "What're you doing out here?" he greeted Ferris. But he didn't wait for a response and moved on to the boys' room, now calling out his brother's name and hurrying the boy. |
OOC: :lmao: Fluffy.... Ferris could hear Victor call out to Vianna, and soon Vianna's voice joined him, telling the him that Fluffy ate marshmallows. Ferris let out a soft chuckle at this before jumping as Victor suddenly appeared in the door. He gaped for a moment, trying to spill out why he was in the hallway, but before he could Victor had moved on. Shrugging, Ferris stood up and walked into the girls' room to see Fluffy and Vianna, "Morning Vi," he said with a warm smile at the sight of her, walking over to her and placing a kiss on her cheek before taking a seat on the couch. |
ooc: :xd: That squirrel's so spoiled. Vianna began cleaning up the mess of fresh fruit Fluffy had left on the floor as her brother walked out. She took all the tiny pieces of fruit into her hands and dumped them into the trash right as Ferris walked in. The girl turned to him and beamed. "Good morning, Professor," she said, now beginning to clean the counter. Apparently, she had forgotten they were in a hotel and room service could do the cleaning for them. "Have you eaten yet?" she asked the boy. |
Ferris watched her clean for a moment, his mind too tired to register the fact that there was such a thing as maids for the hotel either. "No, I haven't," he admitted as she asked if he had eaten anything yet. "I might call room service if we have enough time. What about you? Did you eat anything yet?" he asked her, leaning back into the couch cushions and letting out a small yawn, resting his folded hands on his lap. |
Vianna nodded her head in response to Ferris's first question. "I think we should have enough time," she said, before then doing the opposite and shaking her head this time. "No, I haven't eaten yet," she replied. Once she was done cleaning around the small kitchen, she took the phone into her hands and joined Ferris by the sitting area. "Would you do the honours, monsieur?" she asked him with a soft chuckle. |
A smile grew on Ferris's face as he watched the girl walk over to him with the phone, asking if he would do the honours, adding a 'monsieur' to the end. "Of course, mon bijou," he said with a light chuckle before taking the phone and putting it up to his ear. "Oui. Bonjour, c'est la chambre 217. Pourrions-nous obtenir éventuellement une sélection de vos aliments du petit déjeuner s'il vous plaît?" he said into the receiver in his French tongue. "Oui, la charge vient à la salle s'il vous plaît. Très bien, merci monsieur," he finished with the polite smile that came to his face whenever he spoke with an adult, even though they were on the phone. He hung up before turning to Vianna, "It should be here in about ten minutes." |
Vianna smiled as she listened to Ferris place the order with that rather dazed look that usually came to her eyes when she listened to the boy speak in this foreign language. Once he was done and announced the food should be up in the next ten minutes, then young girl grinned. "Great!" she said. "Y'know, I'm really going to miss hearing you speak French when we leave France," she added thoughtfully. |
Ferris smiled warmly at her expression, his arm sneaking around her waist as he listened to her mention that she was really going to miss hearing him speak French. He let out a light chuckle, "I'll speak French whenever you want me to Vi," he assured her with another smile as his brown eyes turned to her. "I'll be your personal French speaking boyfriend," he said with a small nod. OOC: I'm off Deeee! Byyyeeee! :bye: |
Vianna grinned once more as Ferris assured her that he would speak French whenever she wanted him to. She then laughed lightly at the words that followed, when the boy told her he would be her own personal French-speaking boyfriend. "I like the sound of that," she said with a nod. She then leaned over slightly and placed a kiss on his cheek. ooc: Byeeee, Rutherssss! :bye: |
Ferris let out a small smile as Vianna placed a kiss on his cheek, telling him that she liked the sound of a 'personal French-speaking boyfriend'. "Good, because you've got one," he said with a light chuckle before there was a knock at the door. He gently removed his arms from around Vianna, standing from the couch and walking over to the door of the hotel room to see room service already here. Apparently, it was a slow morning for the hotel, and barely anyone else had ordered breakfast. So, they got their breakfast in half the time. Smiling politely, Ferris thanked them before taking the large rolling tray into the room. The room service left and Ferris kept the door open, yelling out into the hall, "VINCE! Food!" He then brought the tray over to where Vianna sat, a smile returning to his face, "Food, my dear?" |
Vianna beamed as Ferris returned to the room with the tray full of food. She was just about to say something when her brother suddenly burst into the room with such energy, one would think he was escaping a fire. "Food?!" was his greeting to them before taking a plate and joining the other two by the couch. All the commotion attracted Fluffy's attention and he joined them next, forgetting all about his marshmallows. |
Ferris was about to speak to Vianna when Vince suddenly busted through the door, asking about the food which he quickly spotted. Letting out a light chuckle, Ferris watched as Vince took a plate and joined them by the couch. He shook his head, grabbing a croissant and sitting down next to Vianna. He began to tear at the flaky, warm bread, popping a couple pieces and leaning back into the couch for a moment. That was until he remembered what went well with breakfasts of any kind. "Hey Vi, do you want some coffee?" he asked her, turning his brown eyes back to the girl next to him, smile on his face. |
Vianna's eyes widened slightly as her brother began piling everything he could find on to a plate. She hesitantly took a blueberry crepe like last time they'd had breakfast in the hotel; had they stayed in France any longer, it would have slowly become a habit for her. But Vianna was distracted from her brother's wild behvaiour as Ferris spoke, asking her if she wanted some coffee. She smiled at the boy and opened her mouth to reply, but Vince beat her to it. "Gee, Ferris Wheel, that'd be great. Thanks, mate. Not too much sugar on mine, though," he said with a grin before settling down on the nearest armchair. Vianna gave her brother a look, half amused and half scolding. She then got up to her feet and headed over to the kitchen. "I'll make mine and Vince's," she said, not really comfortable with the idea of Ferris having to make coffee for everyone like some type of maid. |
Ferris turned his head as Vince spoke, quickly thanking him for the offer and asking for minimal amount of sugar on his. Rolling his eyes slightly, though there was an amused smile on his face, he stood up just as Vianna did. "You don't have to do that Vi," he said quickly, but walked with her to the kitchen; having no intention of letting her make anything. He started the coffee the second he got in there, doing it the muggle way of course, before starting up the machine. He then took out his wand and did a spell to speed up the time it took to make it; he didn't have much patience when it came to coffee. He would make it the muggle way, but found no need to wait for it like muggles. But as long as Vianna was in the kitchen with him, his hand slipped into hers silently, Ferris continuing on as though he hadn't just stolen one of her most important limbs. |
Vianna's eyes widened slightly as Ferris beat her to the coffee maker and began preparing the coffee the muggle way though cheating with magic every now and then. Her brows then furrowed, "Professor, you stole my chore!" she told him indignantly, as if this was some great offense. But she then smiled and chuckled softly, obviously just joking around. "This is the last time I'm letting you make coffee for my brother, though," she told him a bit more seriously. |
Ferris's jaw dropped in mock shock as she told him that he had stolen her chore, looking at her with fake surprise as though he just realized what he had done. "Oh, I'm so very sorry, Vianna," he told her teasingly, a small smile returning to his face. He gave a nod though as she told him a little more seriously that this was the last time she would let him make coffee for her brother, "Deal." He smiled at her once more before the coffee beeped, indicating that it was ready, and he released her hand to walk over to it. He quickly summoned three mugs and poured out the steaming coffee easily. "Here, if it makes you feel better, you can put his minimal amount of sugar in," Ferris said with a light chuckle, handing her one of the mugs which was to be Vince's. |
Vianna smiled faintly in amusement as Ferris teased her before he left her side to get the coffee and then pouring it into three mugs. The girl then laughed lightly as he handed her Vince's mug and told her to put his minimal amount of sugar in if it made her feel better. "That makes me feel loads better," said Vianna with a nod, smiling as she took the mug into her hands and poured a small amount of sugar on a spoon before mixing it with the coffee. Vianna then walked over to her brother and handed him the mug, which he received with a grateful grin. |
