"I know I don't have to," said Vianna with a nod. "But I want to," she added with a smile, now taking the bag they had received from the past supply store into her hand and the heavy book into the other. She watched as the old man handed them back the moonstone and turned to Ferris with a slightly creased forehead, only using her gaze to ask if the boy could carry that for her, since her hands were already full.

emmafan123 11-30-2009 05:24 AM

Ferris gave her another small smile as she told him that she just wanted to pay for it this time. He put his wallet away with a nod and took the bag from the man seeing as Vianna's hands were full. Still feeling like he could do something for the girl, he took the other bag which had been resting in her hand so she was only left with the spellbook. "Ready to head back?" he asked as they started out of the shop after a final polite, and slightly creeped out, smile to the shopkeeper.

OOC: I'm off Deee! Byyyyyeeeeee! :bye: :glomp:

Gryffindoll 11-30-2009 05:29 AM

Vianna watched as Ferris took the bag from her and smiled faintly, then giving him a nod as he asked if she was ready to head back. "Yeah, let's go," she replied, leading the way out of the shop with high spirits and an enthusiastic smile on her face. They had finally collected all the ingredients they needed! She had never felt so accomplished as she had this day and the day before. After days and days of running away, they were finally doing something; changing themselves to spy on the kidnappers and even scaring them out of Ferris's dreams now. "We should be arriving to the inn just in time to stir the potion," she announced as she checked the time while leading the pair to a more deserted and secluded area where they could mount her broom and take off.

ooc: Bye, Ruthers!! :bye::glomp:

emmafan123 11-30-2009 10:04 PM

Ferris gave a nod as she informed him that they would get back just in time to stir the potion, "Good, I'm glad we didn't miss it," the boy said as they started into a more deserted area. He couldn't help but feel the same as Vianna, pretty accomplished and happy that they were on the road to doing something. They were getting there. When they had reached a pretty secluded area, the boy came to a halt, patiently waiting for her to mount the broom so he could climb on behind her.

Gryffindoll 11-30-2009 10:08 PM

Vianna levitated her broom into the air and mounted it, trying her best to adjust herself to carrying the spells book in one hand and steer the broom at the same time. Once Ferris joined her, the girl set off into the morning air at a much slower speed than she had earlier that day, not feeling too confident about only using one hand and besides, she really didn't want to crash-land again. She normally didn't mind this, but after what had happened with Ferris's back the girl felt she needed to be a little more careful.

ooc: Be back in half an hour!

emmafan123 11-30-2009 10:11 PM

Ferris climbed on after the girl, carefully holding both of the bags in one hand so he could wrap his other arm around Vianna's waist gently. He held her rather snugly, half afraid that she was going to zoom off into the air once more, but was relieved to find that she took off a little more slowly than her usual light-speed. Luckily for the boy, the pain spell Vianna had used seemed to be holding up and he didn't experience any pain throughout the ride. He gently rested his chin on her shoulder as he often did as he looked out over the scenery.

OOC: Ok! ^_^

Gryffindoll 11-30-2009 10:33 PM

It took the couple a little longer to get back to the ghost town than it did to get downtown, since they were riding a little slower. Vianna began slowing, readying for their landing far sooner than she normally would have, and as they lowered and came to a halt, the landing had been smooth and pain-free. Vianna's feet met the ground gently and she quickly hopped off her broom with a proud grin on her face. "How's that for safe flying, huh?" she said quite proudly. Though she knew she wouldn't be doing any landings like this very often, only when riding with Ferris. She had grown far too accustomed to crashing to the ground.

emmafan123 11-30-2009 10:39 PM

Ferris watched with amused and impressed eyes as Vianna very carefully landed, hopping off a moment later and mentioning her safe flying skills. "Yes, that was great granny-driving, Vi," he teased her, as he was really quite pleased with the speed, mainly because he didn't enjoy crash landing. He gently wrapped an arm around her and pulled her into him with a smile, "I'm just kidding Vi. You did very well," he assured her before pressing a very warm kiss to the very corner of her lips. One might think he had missed if he hadn't gone in so slowly and left his lips there for a moment. He broke apart another moment later and smiled at her before releasing her waist in order to take one of the two bags into his free hand.

Gryffindoll 11-30-2009 10:44 PM

Vianna's triumphant grin disappeared and her jaw dropped as Ferris teased her, calling her safer flying styles 'granny-driving'. Though she couldn't help but smile in amusement a second later. She took her broom into her free hand and giggled lightly to herself as Ferris's lips met the corner of hers, telling her she had done well. The young girl gave him a smile and led the way over to the inn which was really only just a few steps away. She greeted the old man by the front desk as they made their way across the tiny lobby and then climbed up the old wooden stairs and over to her room. There, the girl opened the door and placed her broom in a corner against the wall before almost running over to the potion that sat waiting for them.

emmafan123 11-30-2009 10:46 PM

Ferris followed Vianna back to the inn, giving a smile to the old man at the front desk before heading up towards her room after the girl. He let out a small laugh as Vianna nearly darted straight to the potion as soon as they got in, rather amused by her, "You got it Vi?" he asked her, setting down their things gently next to the coffee table before closing the door to the room. He looked around and noticed an empty bed and assumed Kayla and Madison had gotten up already. But where was Fluffy?

Gryffindoll 11-30-2009 10:49 PM

Vianna checked Ferris's watch, which looked huge on her wrist, and turned back to the potion. "I'll start stirring in exactly eight minutes," she said, then turning to Ferris. But noticing how he looked around, her brows furrowed just slightly. "Is something wrong, Professor?" she asked. She had been so distracted thinking about the potion and the ingredients and the kidnappers that for a moment there, she had almost completely forgotten all about her precious squirrel. And then her eyes widened. "Where's Fluffy?" she wondered aloud, then very swiftly making her way over to the kitchen.

emmafan123 11-30-2009 10:55 PM

Ferris was about to mention Fluffy when Vianna figured it out for herself, immediately heading over to the kitchen to try and find the squirrel. He followed after her quickly, hoping desperately that the one time he convinced Vianna not to take the creature, he hadn't run off or something. But, luckily for both of them, when they entered the kitchen they found a bushy tail sticking out of a vanilla cupcake, the hind legs attached to it moving around as the squirrel attempted to dig deeper into the dessert. Ferris let out a light laugh at this, fairly amused by the sight. It would've appeared that the squirrel had stolen the marshmallow first, as there were a number of little tiny vanilla-frosting paw prints all over the counter. Plus, all over the curtains in the other room where the squirrel had attempted to hide out while eating his treat. It would appear that the squirrel had just come back to devour the cupcake itself.

Gryffindoll 11-30-2009 10:59 PM

Vianna's blue eyes immediately fell upon Fluffy as she entered the kitchen and a large smile took over her face at the sight of the little squirrel greedily devouring every tiny bit of cupcake there was left. She giggled lightly at this and considered taking Fluffy into her hands, feeling like she hadn't held him and petted him in a long time. But she didn't want to disturb him, either, as he really seemed to be enjoying himself with the-- and then Vianna's eyes opened and all amusement left her features. "Oh no! I forgot to get Fluffy his marshmallows!" she said, now feeling horribly guilty for forgetting about her squirrel twice in the same day.

emmafan123 11-30-2009 11:06 PM

Ferris was watching Fluffy make his way to the other side of the cupcake just when Vianna spoke as though something terrible had happened. He jumped up at the surprise of her worried voice, and he turned back to her with furrowed brows, confused. But as she mentioned how they had forgotten to get Fluffy marshmallows, he frowned, thinking back. How could they have forgotten? "Oh..." he murmured. "Well...Why don't we stir the potion in a couple minutes. Then all three of us can go back into town for some breakfast, and get some marshmallows. Does that sound okay?"

Gryffindoll 11-30-2009 11:10 PM

Vianna turned her gaze to Ferris as the boy turned to her and began suggesting that they head back to town after stirring the potion and get breakfast and marshmallows for Fluffy. The young girl watched him for a moment, not sure if Ferris really wanted to go through the trouble of going all the way back to the city, but then she nodded her head slightly. "Okay, but you have to fly," she told him. "I wanna hold Fluffy," she explained, as if this was something very important and she had no other choice but to do so.

emmafan123 11-30-2009 11:14 PM

Ferris gave her a nod and a slightly amused smile as she told him he would have to fly as she would need to hold Fluffy. He then headed out of the kitchen and started over towards the potion, "Hey, Vi. It's time right?" he asked before turning his eyes to the clock on the wall anyway. Eight on the dot. "I'll just do it," he said as he was closest and he took a seat on the couch. He took the spoon into his hand and started to stir the potion the proper amount of times in each direction as the book instructed.

Gryffindoll 11-30-2009 11:19 PM

Vianna soon joined Ferris, standing near the couch as she absentmindedly watched him stir the potion. About a minute later, she walked away and over to the curtains, cleaning the vanilla frosting paw prints with a wave of her wand and making the bed she had left undone earlier so that Fluffy could have continued sleeping in peace. Once done with the minor clean-up, she returned to Ferris's side. "When should we get started on your potion? After breakfast?" she asked.

ooc: Be back in half an hour!

emmafan123 11-30-2009 11:23 PM

OOC: Alright Dee! ^_^

Ferris quickly finished up the stirring potion, staring down into the large cauldron curiously and observing the colors of the frothy liquid. He was distracted from his observations as Vianna joined his side, asking when they should start their new potion, suggesting after breakfast. His stomach decided this one for the boy, as it was starting to growl angrily at him. "Food first," he decided with a light chuckle as he got to his feet, sliding the sunglasses back onto his head. He then summoned his broom from the other hotel room, and it flew into his hand a moment later.

Gryffindoll 11-30-2009 11:36 PM

Vianna chuckled softly as Ferris made his decision without any hesitation. She took the room keys into her hand and disappeared into the kitchen, taking her greedy little squirrel into her hands and gently wiping some of the frosting from his tiny paws. She giggled at the sight of the messy little furball, watching him adoringly for a moment before walking back out and opening the door. "All ready, let's go."

emmafan123 11-30-2009 11:41 PM

Ferris eyed the still slightly messy squirrel now settled in Vianna's hands and gave a small nod of his head as she told him she was ready now. "Alright," the boy said as he headed out of the room with her, closing the door behind them and starting down the hallway. He led the way down the rickety, poorly-carpeted staircase, through the lobby and out onto the near deserted streets of the tiny town. He quickly mounted his broom without any hesitation, glad to be in control this time of the flying.

Gryffindoll 11-30-2009 11:46 PM

Vianna mounted the broom soon after Ferris did and held tightly on to him with one arm while using the other to keep her little squirrel close to her. She smiled down at him; Fluffy merely looked around and made himself comfortable in Vianna's hand, feeding on the warmth that came from it and wrapped his small body.

emmafan123 11-30-2009 11:50 PM

Ferris zoomed the broom off into the air at a steady pace, nothing compared to Vianna's normal speed, but at a fairly quick pace that got them to the center of town in about five minutes. Smiling slightly to himself, the boy landed swiftly with little trouble in an alleyway very similar to the one they landed in before. He hopped of the broom swiftly, helping Vianna off after him before taking the broom into his left hand.

OOC: I'm off for now Dee! I should be on later tonight though! :bye:

Gryffindoll 11-30-2009 11:55 PM

Vianna got up to her feet with Ferris's help and she was soon making her way out to the sidewalks with her precious squirrel in hand. "What would you like to have for breakfast today, Professor?" asked the girl, turning to Ferris with a wide smile, her spirits cheery and optimistic as was usual of her. "Fluffy, you just had your breakfast, so I hope you'll be good and behave while we eat!" she then added to her squirrel who merely turned his back on her and looked around at the people passing by with curious dark eyes.

ooc: See you then, Ruthersss! :bye::glomp:

emmafan123 12-01-2009 01:00 AM

Ferris was absentmindedly gazing around at the streets which seemed to be a little more crowded then when they had last visited twenty minutes ago. He turned to look at Vianna as she spoke, asking what he wanted for breakfast that morning, and thought for a moment, "Waffles," he finally decided with a grin. His eyes scanned the girl's features, amused by how optimistic she seemed at the moment, letting out a very soft chuckle at the sight of her speaking to her squirrel.

Gryffindoll 12-01-2009 01:42 AM

"Ooooh," said Vianna with slightly raised eyebrows as she returned her gaze to Ferris when the boy answered her question. She had been expecting the idea of a larger meal from the boy, and felt somewhat amused by his decision. The girl then looked away from the boy beside her and instead looked around the crowded streets, really able to admire the architecture and the crowds of the place now that she was just walking on the sidewalk rather than running like she been last time.
