Ferris jumped in turn as Vianna jumped, not expecting the sudden movement next to him, and it freaked him out. Letting out a small sigh as his heart rate returned to normal, he gave the girl a semi-amused look before watching the final scene of the movie. He stared at the screen for a few moments before hearing Vianna murmur her reaction and he couldn't help but to let out a small chuckle as he turned his eyes to her. "What'd you think of that one?" he asked her, now staring at her faint outline in the darkness they were still enveloped in. |
Vianna turned away from the screen and to the boy beside her as he spoke again, asking her what she thought of the movie. "I'll never look at a ghost the same way again," she replied before chuckling softly, her eyes still slightly wide as she was clearly still in shock from the movie. "I didn't expect the ending... but those ghosts really gave me a fright," she confessed, her brows furrowing slightly as she glanced at the television screen again, as if expecting something to just randomly jump out at them. |
Ferris smiled slightly as she told him she wouldn't ever look at a ghost the same way again, adding that she hadn't expected the ending. "I know..." he agreed, shaking his head slightly in disbelief. "I mean, I've seen it before but...Not since...Oh I don't know, it's probably been five or six years now," he told her with a soft chuckle. His smile widened slightly as she mentioned that the ghosts had really given her a fright, watching as she stared at the television once more. His other arm now wrapping around her, Ferris pulled the girl into his side, "So is it going to be you coming into my room tonight with nightmares about ghosts?" he asked her with a teasing edge to his voice. |
Vianna's gaze left the television to turn to Ferris again as the boy spoke, teasingly asking her if she would be the one to come to his room that night. Vianna scoffed, as if this idea was completely ridiculous, though in reality she was well-aware that the chances of that happening were very high. "I don't think so," she replied stubbornly, too proud to admit just how badly the muggle ghosts had affected her. |
"Oh, okay then Vi," Ferris said sarcastically, still teasing her lightly with a smile on his face as the girl immediately denied that she would be coming to his room with nightmares on her mind later that night; always the stubborn one. He leaned over through the few inches between them to place a warm kiss on the girl's cheek before leaning back against the couch cushions and watching her for a moment. "Y'know Vi, you always ask me to speak to you in French," he muttered with a thoughtful expression. "And of course, I don't mind. I like that you like to hear my French. But...I want to hear you talk in Italian," he requested with a small grin. |
Vianna giggled lightly as Ferris continued teasing her before placing a kiss on her cheek. She beamed up at him the way she so often did, but hadn't done much during this rather depressing day. She listened and nodded her head slightly as Ferris mentioned that she always asked him to speak in French, but her eyebrows rose slightly as he then requested that she speak in Italian for him. "Wha-- Italian?" said the girl with surprise in her eyes, as if Ferris was asking her to speak in Chinese. "Well... what would you like me to say?" she asked, somewhat caught off-guard by his unexpected request. |
Ferris's smile widened slightly at her surprised, thinking for a moment as she asked what he wanted her to say in Italian. "I don't know," he finally decided lamely with a small chuckle, "Tell me anything. I don't care, I just want to hear you talk," he told her, watching the girl with slightly admiring and tired eyes, the arm which was still around her waist beginning to stroke her side gently. |
Vianna's brows furrowed slightly as she thought of what she could possibly tell the boy in Italian right that moment. "Hmm... oh!" She grinned as something came to mind. Returning her gaze to Ferris, she spoke, "Eravate di destra… il film lo ha spaventato di più di ho previsto ed è possibile io li visiterà stasera." She finished with a smile, beaming up at the boy beside her. |
Ferris leaned back comfortably into the pillows as he waited for Vianna to start, letting out a small yawn which he quickly silenced when she started to speak in Italian. She said a long string of gorgeously pronounced Italian words and he could only watch her with loving brown eyes as she told him something he couldn't understand if his life depended on it. But there was a large smile on his face as he listened; there was just something about the way the words rolled off the girl's tongue, it was nice to hear and watch. "That was nice," he told her, large smile still on his face, "What did it mean?" |
Vianna chuckled softly as Ferris told her that had been nice; she then looked away and rested her head on the boy's shoulder once again as he asked what her words had meant. "I'm not telling you," she replied simply, an almost childlike quality to the way she denied his request. |
Jaw dropping, Ferris's eyes widened just slightly as he stared at her with mock shock. "What do you mean you're not telling me?" he asked her, looking down at the girl who had so casually rested her head on his shoulder. "You can't just say something pretty like that and not tell me what it means!" he complained to her, gently poking her side as he said this. "C'mon, tell me," he said, a small smile creeping back onto his face as he began to tickle her sides. |
Vianna giggled almost mischievously as Ferris began complaining about her not telling him what the Italian words meant. She lifted her head from the boy's shoulder and looked up at him, beginning to laugh lightly as he now began tickling her. Ever the ticklish one, it didn't take long for Vianna to give in. "Alright, alright, I'll tell you!" she said between giggles, her cheeks turning bright red from the laughter. She took a moment to catch her breath before starting, "I just... I just said that you were right. That the movie scared me more than I had expected, and... chances are I'll visit you tonight," she confessed sheepishly, her eyes avoiding the boy in front of her as she began fidgeting with her hands absentmindedly. |
Ferris was letting out a string of chuckles as she giggled, as her laughter was often contagious to him, but his laughter died down as she finally gave in. Grinning triumphantly, he studied her sheepish expression in confusion for a moment until she explained that he was right; that the movie had scared her more than she thought, and there was a good chance she would visit him tonight. His grin widening even more, he seemed to beam down at the girl as she said this, taking note of her fidgeting hands and how her eyes avoided him. "I'd like that," he told her with a warm smile before he leaned forward to press a smaller kiss to the girl's lips. |
Vianna looked up from her hands with slightly raised eyebrows, surprised by Ferris's response, but relieved by it nonetheless. She was just about to speak when his lips suddenly met hers, making the girl forget the idea of even talking as she kissed him back. She pulled back a moment later, allowing a smile to light up her face as she looked up at Ferris. "I'm relieved to hear that," she told him with a slight nod in response to his earlier words. |
Ferris smiled warmly down at her as they broke apart, listening as she told him she was relieved to hear that. His eyebrows rose just slightly, an amused smile prominent on his face, "What? Did you think I would be upset that you wanted to come crash in my room with me?" he asked her with a light chuckle. He paused for a moment, watching the girl before continuing, "Besides, you know that if you don't come to my room I'll find a way to sneak into yours," he told her softly, letting out a light chuckle, "I'm finding it a little hard to sleep without you there." |
Vianna chuckled softly as Ferris asked her if she thought he would be upset about her going to his room in the middle of the night. "Well, no..." she muttered, not able to find the words to express herself. She knew the boy would never just kick her out of the room or tell her she was unwelcome, but she still feared her presence during his time of rest could be a burden to him, even if he didn't necessarily say that. But before the girl could really explain all of this, Ferris began speaking once more, telling her that if she didn't go to his room he would most likely find a way to sneak to hers. She laughed lightly at this and listened as he then confessed that he was finding it hard to sleep without her there. Vianna gave the boy a smile, "That's quite a habit we're beginning to form here," she said with slight amusement. "I don't think my brothers would be pleased... which makes it all the more fun!" she added with a grin, clearly delighted with the idea of breaking her brothers' rules and driving the boys absolutely insane. But as the spoiled little sister, that was her job. |
Ferris laughed aloud as the girl mentioned that they seemed to be forming a habit, adding that her brothers wouldn't be pleased which of course made it all the more fun. Eyebrows raising just slightly, he shook his head in amusement at the girl, "It's all fun now until you find your boyfriend snapped in two like a twig by your big brothers," he joked with her. He let out a soft chuckle before continuing, "It's worth it though, I just have to wake up at four in the morning to go back to my room. Oh, and make sure I'm really quiet on my way to and from your room," he said, speaking about it as though talking about a strategy plan. OOC: I'm off Deeee! Byyyeeee! :bye: |
Vianna gasped and her jaw dropped with mock surprise as Ferris told her it was all fun until she found him snapped in two by her brothers. "Don't say that!" she said. "Besides... you said it yourself, my brothers would never do anything to you because they know how I feel about you," she said with a smile before adding, "Unless, of course, you punch one of them, in which case... we all know how that would turn out," she said, referring to Ferris's and Vince's last fight. Her brows furrowed slightly at this rather unpleasant memory, but the smile returned to her face as Ferris continued, now mentioning how it was all worth it and he just had to make sure to wake up at four in the morning and be quiet when he snuck from one room to the other. Vianna giggled at his seriousness as he narrated the plan. "I think that's a fair price for a good night's sleep," she said with another light chuckle. ooc: Byyeeee, Ruthersss! :bye: |
Ferris let out a light laugh at her reaction to his previous statement, watching the girl as she told him not to say that and pointing out what he said earlier; that her brothers wouldn't do anything to him because they knew how she felt about him. He couldn't help but smile warmly at this, about to speak when she added that things would be a little different if Ferris decided to punch one of them again. Letting out a hearty laugh at the unexpected amusement, he was smiling as he spoke, "Trust me, I won't be punching them anytime soon." Thinking back to it though, that was possibly the worst night ever for him. He recalled the events, replaying in his mind his stupid fight with Vince, and then to the worst memory, when Vianna told him they should separate. He looked over at the girl, suddenly extremely glad she was here next to him, joking and talking with him. He listened as she told him she thought it was a fair price for a good night's sleep and he gave a brief nod and warm smile, "I think so too." Ferris watched her for a moment before pressing his lips to hers in a soft kiss. He kissed her softly for a few moments, relishing in that warm happy feeling he got whenever he kissed the girl. He broke apart a number of moments later, a warm smile still prominent on his face. |
Vianna smiled in amusement as Ferris laughed, apparently finding her words to be comical. She chuckled softly as the boy then assured her that he wouldn't be punching her brothers any time soon before then agreeing to her last words. The young girl yawned for a second and looked up at the boy beside her only to find their lips meeting once again. Vianna was somewhat surprised at first, but she quickly got over the unexpectedness of it and kissed the boy back, a hint of a smile on her lips as they kissed for a few moments. She returned his smile as they broke apart, now beginning to giggle sheepishly to herself before looking away at nothing in specific. She yawned once again and rested her head on Ferris's shoulder, wondering vaguely what time it was. |
Ferris couldn't help but grin as they broke apart, watching as the girl began to giggle sheepishly and look away from him. He immediately thought these natural actions for Vianna were adorable, as he found a lot of her gestures to be, and watched as she yawned and leaned her head against his shoulder. He then rested his own head of curls on top of hers, completely comfortable in their spot on the floor, still immersed in a good deal of darkness. He checked his watch, noticing it to be nearing eleven already, and he couldn't help but feel the tiredness of the day weigh down on him. It took a few minutes of comfortable silence, but slowly Ferris's arms around her relaxed, his breathing evened, and his eyes closed as he fell asleep resting against the girl. |
Vianna had absentmindedly pulled the blanket Ferris had set beside the pillows and curled up beneath it as the night slowly grew chillier, though it was still a lot warmer than the nights in England. She yawned once again and smiled faintly to herself as she felt Ferris's head now resting on hers. Beginning to feel rather drowsy, the girl called out to him so they could head to bed, but at receiving no reply, she realized the boy must have fallen asleep. Slightly amused at this, Vianna let her eyes close and slowly drifted away to a deep sleep. |
Ferris could see it very clearly, the nightmare that had haunted him constantly every time he went to sleep. It came to him again, nearly the same dream exactly, but no matter how many times he saw it it still terrified him. Still curled up next to Vianna in the living room, at about one in the morning Ferris started shaking, sweating slightly as his nightmare played like a movie in his head. Pulling Vianna closer, his shaking began to affect her, shaking her gently as his loose grip remained limply around her waist. His eyes were shut tightly, his dark eyebrows furrowed and an obviously worried facial expression on his pale features. |
Rather unusually, Vianna was actually having dreams this night. But they were like most dreams usually are - foggy, lacking logic, and narrating random bits of one's day. But her dreams faded into darkness and her eyes slowly opened as she felt herself shaking. Vianna frowned slightly to herself, why was she trembling? She lifted her head from Ferris's shoulder and turned to the boy beside her, barely able to make out his features in the darkness. Her eyes widened slightly at the worried look on his still-sleeping face, realizing he had been the source of the shaking. "Professor!" she called out to the boy. "Fer-- wake up!" |
Ferris's shaking was getting worse, his expression remaining the same as his cold sweat continued, but it all suddenly stopped at the sound of Vianna's voice. The shaking slowed down until it completely stopped, his eyes still closed and his brow furrowing even more until his eyelids finally lifted to reveal a very fearful pair of chocolate brown eyes. At the sight of Vianna, he seemed to let out a trembling breath before he pulled her into a slightly frightened embrace, almost disbelieving that she was here, alive as it contradicted what he saw in his dream. |
