Ravenswood Manor

Adrianna Charday’s life has been a rollercoaster, to say the least. When it all becomes too much, she slips away from her home in the middle of the night, as she has done many times before. Only this time, it’s for good. She goes to the beautiful wildlife preserve that a close family friend owns. Ravenswood. The ideal place to go if you need some alone time. But no one knows what’s really going through the raven-haired teenager’s depressed mind. She was slowly losing herself in self-pity, depression.
Her best friend since she was an infant, Cassandriana Brant, visits daily, but can never find the girl she once knew as her friend inside the shell of a person she finds everyday.
But if you do find old Adrianna, she will gladly welcome you into the humongous manor house that she now calls home. There are eight bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a large den with a fireplace and mantle, two kitchens, and a sunroom throughout the house. Two wolves, Dreamer and Stormbringer stay in the den by the fireplace during the winter, but during the warmer months, they are either running around the preserve, or lying by Adrianna. There is a very large library on the top floor, where Ad spends most of her time. A sign on the gates leading to the preserve says:
Ravenswood Wildlife Preserve
Take only photos and leave only footprints.
Please don’t feed the animals, and stay on the paths.
Garbage in, garbage out policy.
$200 fine for littering.
Open from dawn till dusk.

Tours there were very popular. But now, in the winter months, not even her fellow guides could break the icy barrier that wrapped itself around Adrianna’s heart. She didn’t punch anyone who called her “Addy” anymore.
Adrianna’s life was crumbling down. But that would never stop her friend and her cousins from trying to help.

Ad smiled. "We can leave whenever you want - if you want to, I mean" she said. "I had Maria set up kind of a nursery at the preserve for when we bring the twins home" she told him with an awkward smile.

Justin looked up at Ad and shrugged. "I'm ready when you are" he smiled looking up as Callum walked in the living room. "Sounds like you managed to get everything under control then" he smiled.

Callum crouched down in front of the fire place looking at Ad and Justin. "I'm gonna bring Kai to see you both tomorrow" he told them.

Justin's eyes widened hearing Callum mention Kai. "How do I know he remembers me?" he asked.

Justin smiled and nodded. He was excited to see his nephew again even if he was a little nervous. It had been a while since he'd seen him and let's be honest, he wasn't exactly the most stable person in England at the moment. "Okay..." he smiled.

Justin looked from person to person with an eyebrow raised. He hadn't realised it would trigger this much attention. "What annoys me is the fact that I let you walk out of my life" he replied.

Ad frowned slightly. "Justin....." she started sadly. "But he's back now. That's the main thing, right?" she asked. She turned around when she heard a noise on the stairs and saw Cassie in the doorway rubbing her eyes. "What's wrong Cassie?"

Cassie sniffled and walked up to Addy, who picked her up. "I want Mummy" she mumbled tiredly, making it all sound like one word. "I can't sleep"

Cass sighed. "Your mum had to work late tonight sweetie, she'll be home soon" she said. 'Yeah, because I paid her to work my shift' she sighed in her mind, hoping Justin hadn't heard it. Did she want to be a Healer, exactly? No. But she was training. Had to keep some sort of tradition going, right?

Cass sighed. 'Sorry! She offered to work my shift for me, so I let her' she snapped back.
