"You very well could be magically delicious. I would not throw out that theory." Gabe laughed and shook his head slightly. She was amazing. Her sense of humor was so...witty and clever. He loved it. As she put her hand on his cheek and he felt her caressing fingers, he closed his eyes, gently nuzzling against her hand. A smile spread across his face, and of course the blush returned after her compliment. "What do I look like when I'm not blushing then?" He smirked and looked at her hopefully awaiting her answer to what was probably the most important question he had ever asked in his life. As she spoke, hrwords repeated in his head and he felt like he could fly. He watched as she curtseyed and he kneeled down in front of her smiling brightly and held out his hands to her. "You have just made me the happiest man in the world..." He tried to say her name but it didn't come out. He looked a little confused, then a smile appeared and he shook his head chuckling. "That Dumbledore is a clever fellow."

Chad pulled away to catch his breath, "Do you wanna go back to the party? Cause honestly. I don't" Chad said, he was holding Rocio to him and was very reluctant to let her go.

Rocio shook her head. "No, I'm completely fine with just staying here, in your arms." She smiled rather dreamily at him. She'd honestly never felt this way about a boy before.

Chad smiled at her words and then recommenced kissing. He slowly wrapped his arms back around Rocio, he kissed her again and again, this time deepening the kiss and bringing her even closer.

Rocio couldn't help but grin as soon as Chad went back to kissing her. He was amazing at it too. Best snogger she knew, and she'd done a bit of snogging before. She pulled away briefly, "Merlin, you're good," she breathed before kissing him once more.

"Thank you for noticeing." Chad smirked, he ran his fingers through her hair and playfully bit her neck. His mouth tainted with the taste of Rocio's sweet lips.

He pulled onto his lap and kissed her again.

She wrapped her arms around her neck as he pulled her onto his lap and kissed him back. But her kisses soon trailed down towards his neck. She kissed his neck softly.

"You're not shabby yourself." Chad murmered, leaning his neck forward to better accomidate her. He grinned and played with her necklace before biting her bottom lip tenderly.

"Glad you're enjoying yourself," she breathed. She closed her eyes once more in order to better soak up the moment. Chad was more amazing than she had initially thought as he bit her lip.

"I think we should proably go dance now.. You know, try to cool off?" Chad said with a bright smile. his forhead resting on Rocio's while his fingers twirled a lock of her hair. "And I don't think it would be good to get caught by the Professors." Chad murmered.

"Yeah, I don't think so either," she giggled. She then stood up and held out her hand for Chad to take. "Besides, I could use another good dance. May as well finish the night even though we know who we are now." She was glad though. She had gotten exactly what she wanted.

"Yeah, might as well." Chad stated. He grinned and took her hand. Chad lead her toward the ballroom and bobbed his head in time with the beat. "I'm so glad I came. And I' sure even Derek is having a good time tonight." Chad said, his mind was now starting to come together again and he felt terrivle for ditching the shy young man.

"I hope he is anyway." Chad murmered. brushing back his hair again.

"I think he's doing perfectly fine," said Rocio with a wide grin. She then gestured to the young man who was dancing with whom she recognized immediately as Paisley. "Even found someone to dance with." She have to congratulate Derek later, but right now she was with Chad.

Adri laughed with him. She loved his laugh. It seemed to vibrate every fabric of her being, and filled her to the rim with a joy that made her want to laugh with him even more. "When you're not blushing? You're a paler form of adorable," she joked, grinning. "I've already told you that you're handsome, would you like me to keep repeating it?" she asked him, shaking her head. She had straightened by the time he kneeled and when he did so, her breath caught in her throat. "And I am sure that I am the happiest woman," she said, leaning down and gently kissing him on the forehead. She put down her hands to help him up, her smile wide. She saw out of the corner of her eye Chad and Rocio dancing together, and could tell by the smile on Rocio's face that something amazing had happened. She knew she would have to bug her friend about it later.

Dumbledore had been watching the crowd of costumed students with pure joy. It looked as if everyone were having a good time and the air of mystery helped to make everyone open to the others around them. However, he had something else that he wanted to add, and seeing the time, he decided to implement it. He stood up and nodded to the band, who finished up the song that they had been playing and then rested their instruments. Soon, all eyes were on Dumbledore and he held up his hands in a welcoming way. "Well, the night certainly has gone well, I am glad that you are all having such a good time. However, since this is Halloween, I have to add in a little mischief," he said with a warm and happy smile. "It is now 10 o' clock, and you have all found dance partners... well, you are now unable to separate from your partner- you will be attached by one hand only, don't worry," he said, his voice trembling in suppressed laughter as he saw some of the expressions on the student's faces. "There is a way to get out of it," he began. "Located throughout the castle are a series of clues which will eventually lead you to the location where the spell will be broken... you have 2 hours till midnight, so I would suggest that you hurry- otherwise you will miss the final song," he said, grinning at the crowd.

"Paler form of adorable...I like that." Gabe winked. "and of course if you feel the need to emphasize my handsomeness please feel free to do so." When her lips touched his forehead, he felt a wave of warnth rush over him. He took her hands and stood up next to her and was about to kiss her own forehead when Dumbledore began to speak. He listened curiously and grinned when he said they couldn't be separated. Looking down at their hands, he gave hers a gentle squeeze. "well I certail won't comlain about being attached to you. We've already basically been attached for what 2 hours?" He whispered quietly and continued to listen to Dumbledore's words. Clues...a scavenger hunt. His face lit up as the notion of a game was introduced. Looking over at Adri, he grinned. "Well princess, looks like you and me are a team in this scavenger hunt of his...think you can handle it?"

"Well how about that? Our little pumpkin has turned into the bell of the ball after all." Chad replied, he chuckled, but fell silent as Dumbledore spoke. The normally-blond boy listened intently and grinned as The Headmaster finished.

"This should be fun." Chad murmered to Rocio, he turned slightly to see how Derek was reacting to this news, but he had lost the young man's face in the sea of people. "I wonder, if you don't find the spell, will you be stuck like this untill tomarrow? Or just untill midnight?" Chad wondered aloud.

"Well, I don't know," said Rocio. "Would they do that? I mean, if we didn't get detached then we'd have to sleep like this." She held up the one hand that she and Chad were now held together by. "Of course, I wouldn't mind one bit if we didn't find the spell." She smirked lightly.

"Neither would I, especially if we get to spend the night together." Chad replied, raising his eyebrows suggestively. He allowed himself one more bad thought and then went back to the cleaner conversation. "Should we start now then?" Chad asked Rocio.

"Start looking for the spell you mean?" asked Rocio. "Well, only if you want to. I could care less either way."

Ooc: Thanksies!! I was brainstorming over the phone with my sister and it popped into my head! I love it when stuff like that happens!

Adri looked at Gabe and grinned. "This should be quite fun! And, I am quite honored to be attached to such a handsome man as yourself," she said, grinning. "Both literally and relationship wise," she said, with a laugh. "ANd of course we can handle it, you are attached to a Ravenclaw after all!" she said, grinning. "However, four heads are better then two... and I know the perfect group to team up with," she said, spying Ro and Chad close by. She snaked through the crowd, and soon caught Rocio's arm. "Would you and the handsome gentleman you're attached to like to team up with us?" she asked, smiling as she glanced over at Chad.

Dumbledore stood up once again. "Alas! I have forgotten to give you the first clue!" Dumbledore called, and the Great Hall was silent once again. He reached into one of his large sleeves and pulled out a small piece of parchment. "You must go to someplace where there aren't knights in training, although they do sound the same. This is where they are bound, and that is where Clue number 2 can be found." Dumbledore once again sat down to allow the night to continue.

"Oh, hey!" said Rocio looking around to see Adri and another young man. She would have to guess it was Gabe. Adri looked too happy with him for it to be anyone else. "Team up? Sure, sounds like a grand idea." She grinned at them.

Adri grinned at her friend. "How's everything going over here?" she asked quietly, noticing the happy glow of her friend's face. "Or should I ask, what hasn't happened?" she said, winking at her friend, still keeping her voice low. "Boys, you do know each other, and get along, so you don't need to worry," she said, looking at the two of them. "What do you guys make of the clue?" she asked the group.

"I'm attached to the cutest, smartest Ravenclaw here." Gabe grinned and kissed her cheek. Suddenly he was being dragged across the room to another couple dancing. Since this was Adrianna, he had to assume that teh girl was Rocio. She had done an amazing job with her costume if it was her. Then Dumbledore began to speak again. "Someplace where there are no knights in training, although they do sound the same....what is that supposed to mean?"

Chad shrugged at the young man accompanying Adrianna and recongized him as Gabe at once. Chad smiled and nodded excitedly at the prospect of teaming up.
"I'm not really sure, but it sounds like the Astronomy Tower, You know? Cause of the knights thing? What'd you guy's think?" Chad asked the others.

"Well, I personally am not very good with these sort of riddles," said Rocio. "I know two of you are Ravenclaws. That lot of you should be able to tackle this one quite well, no?" She looked at Adri. "Have any idea what it means?"
