As Halloween approaches, all the students of Hogwarts begin to get that same euphoric feeling of the holidays. However, this Halloween will be different: the Headmaster is allowing them to have a ball. There are a couple rules: You can't tell anyone who you are, you can't say how you're going to be dressed, and, yes, you have to be dressed up. The masks come off on the 12th stroke of midnight, when Halloween has come to a close. What will happen? Will there be a scare? Will enemies become friends, or more? What will ensue on the night of Halloween??

Okay, so I thought this would be fun, especially in the spirit of Halloween! We need an even amount of guys and girls- otherwise we're going to have uneven dance partners! I don't care if you want to have canon characters or all made-ups! Let's just have fun with it!

"well that's interesting" Hermione said "i usually get sick of all my friends that are boys always talking about quidditch, i love books as well. So what kind of books do you like to read? Hermione said maybe being stuck with this boy wasn't so bad.

Hermione saw the look on the boy's face and knew he knew who she was and it immediately occurred to her that it was Aston "do you by any chance have a cousin" Hermione said grinning at him

She would have fully relaxed there, except that her competitive spirit was nudging at her every few moments. "Perhaps we should continue to the library," she said softly, not opening her eyes, and not making any move to get away. It just felt too good. She opened her eyes slightly and smiled at him, perfectly relaxed and almost in a dream like state. "Don't worry, I was the same... but things became so much more... complete... and amazing when we discovered it was each other," she said, leaning her head against his shoulder.

Everyone has left the Great hall in search of the 2nd clue... which Adrianna has figured out is in the Library! So, we are on the way there... slowly but surely!

Gabe took notice that rubbing her back was definitely working and made a note that when they had more alone time that he would have to give her a better one. As she lay her head on his shoulder, he removed the hand form her back only for a moment to softly stroke the side of her face. "princess, you look like you are going to fall asleep. Maybe I should hold off on rubbing your back and save it for later. If you would like I'd be more than happy to do so. We can't have our smart Ravenclaw sleeping on the job though." He kissed the top of her head and slide his hand lightly over her cheek, and down her neck resting it on her shoulder.

And so Rocio was walking behind Adrianna and Gabe, obviously with Chad. She said nothing as she watched the couple and smiled to herself slightly. They really were very cute together, she thought. She continued to remain silent as they made their way to the library.

"Oh... just 5 more minutes," she said softly, leaning against his hand slightly. As he moved his hand down her cheek and along her neck, shivers were sent all along her body, which woke her up slightly. "Fine, I'm awake," she said, cracking open her eyes and smiling. "However, I bet you'll be able to figure out the next one yourself... you never know," she said with a shrug, trying her best to conceal a yawn. She looked over her shoulder and saw Ro and Chad still behind them. "How are you two doing back there? You've been awfully quiet," she said, winking at Ro.

Gabe chuckled lightly at her poor attempt to concealing a yawn. He glanced behind him and smiled widely before looking back down at Adrianna. Leaning forward, he kissed her lightly then whispered in her ear. "I promise I'll make it up to you, and it will be better since I will have use of both hands." Kissing the side of her face just in front of her ear, he leaned back and cntinued walking looking at her face. "Deal? You seem tired already sweetheart, I dont want to make it worse, unless you want me too."
