"That is my dress," she said pointing to where she had hung it. "I'm working on my mask too." She then took out her wand. She hadn't made the base of it yet and now that she could do the spell, things would go a lot more smoothly.

Character build: Although Blair does not have a very large bone structure, she does not have a very petit structure either. She is a healthy size ten, and loves to eat food and do exercise.

It is naturally straight and is only slightly wavy if she uses charms to dry her hair instead of letting it naturally dry. Although she has had it many colours, at the moment it is a dark ebony brown.
**Character eye colour & anything of note: Blair’s eyes are a startling shade of brown, often clear enough to make it look like you could see right through them into her soul.
**Character distinguishing marks: Five piercings grace her ears, two lobes and one tragis, while she managed to get her tongue pierced and healed in the same day by a romanian gypsy.


Personality and Character
** Character personality, strengths & weaknesses: Blair loves to succeed, and in her eyes giving anything less than 100% to any project is equal to suicide. Because of this, she works hard in School and has the brilliant grades to prove it. However, it can often leave her tired, crabby and irritable if she has been working hard to finish an assignment and she doesn’t get the quiet or the time to do it.
In saying this, she is generally a nice person; once you get to know her... and getting to know her isn’t easy. It takes time, and effort on everyone’s behalf but hers. Unless she has a reason to get to know you, or she thinks you have something that she needs, and if you do, then watch out because she will be there, trying to steal it from you.
Unique character traits: Like many pure-blooded children, Blair was brought up trying to be the best she could be, and then some. As such, she was given dancing lessons, music lessons and singing lessons. This has meant that she can dance Latin, Ballroom and Ballet; sight-read anything asked, and play Piano and the Viola excellently.

**Family, Parents & Siblings: Andreas Hope, is the Managing Director of a third-generation owned wizarding wand shop. Although no match for Ollivanders in London, Hopeful Wands Ltd, have a large Scottish clientelle base. Marillyn Hope owns a small up-scale boutique that owns gowns of every womans dreams. Although all are very expensive, designer and gorgeous, Blair is (un)lucky enough to get to pick own for every major Clan event, and holiday that has been invented.
Blair’s older sister Bonita, 21, has just started her final year at the University of Advanced Magics, in the Highlands. Blair and her sister get on greatly, however, many assume this to be because they only ever see each other over holidays, when they want to see each other and have over four months gossip to catch up on.
**Biography: The Hope clan, have long been established in the Scottish history, dating back to the 15 century. However, then it was the Clan Hops. Many, agreed this was changed because of the teasing and tormenting the clan members received about their fasination with “Barley Hops Whisky”.
Now, scattered over Scotland, the hopes still meet up once a year for a Gathering, and a “merry time.”

Living accommodation: When Blair’s not studying at Howarts, her parents own a four-story townhouse a fifteen minute walk from the centre of Edinburgh. Her older sister and her, share the basement which has been done up into a two-bedroomed apartment.

Adrianna took out a piece of cloth that was the remains of her dress. Taking out her wand, she performed the spell to form the base of the mask. Soon, it was done and she placed it down next to her dress. "Hmm, what to add," she muttered out loud. She then heard Hermione. She looked down without saying anything, her face flushing slightly.

Hermione saw Adri flush, she had the feeling there was somebody she hoped to find but not wanting to make her embarrassed she didn't press the matter but she looked over at Rocio to see her reaction

Rocio merely hummed a merry tune as she worked on her own mask. She seemed to be pretending as if she hadn't heard Hermione at all. It seemed like Adrianna was doing the same as she was, only she made it much more obvious that she had heard what Hermione had said with her blushing.

Hermione smiled to herself it seemed Rocio had something she didn'twant to say also "did you have fun playing marco polo" hermione said trying to change the subject

Adrianna finally had control of her flushing cheeks and was able to look up at Hermione. "Yes, it was a lot of fun!" she said with a smile. "We snuck out while Gabe was it... he was Marcoing for quite awhile- or so I hear, before he gave up," she said with a giggle. She raised her wand and began applying detail to the mask.

Hermione laughed "sounds like fun" hermione said adding more things to her mask

Gabe looked at the time then back at Derek. "well alright man, I'm going to finish up my my costume now that I know how to fix up my mask, and since our time is slowly decreasing. I will see you later man." He stood up from the table and smiled before turning to walk back to his dorm...again.

Derek nodded as Gabe left and waved at him. He then stood up himself. He still had no costume or mask or anything, so he may as well get ready. He figured he'd go with whatever he found first. So, with that in mind he headed off to his own dormitory.

"Yes, and I remember I was the one who caught Gabe," said Rocio. "He had been so distracted with talking to Adri, that he had no idea I was there. It made my job loads easier though."

Adrianna laughed. "Good teamwork!" she said, holding up a hand for a high five. "That was the plan all along," she added, grinning.

Rocio laughed and high fived her. "Yeah, it worked out really well," she said with a wink before turning back to her mask.

Gabe walked back to his common room holding his blank form of a white napkin mask in his hand. He was so engaged in thinking about the mask that he ended up walking into the portrait instead of it opening. Looking around, he saw that no one had seen and muttered the password to get back in. Heading up to his room, he pulled out the top and pants to his costume and looked at them for a moment. Pulling out his wand he made a few minor adjustments to them, making them suitable as a costume then pulled out a baseball cap. "Alright, let's see..." Waving his wand, he transformed his hat and smirked. "Perfect...Now for the mask." White just wasn't the right color....he needed something more mysterious. Black, perfect. He pulled out a pair of boots and voila. His costume was complete. Now he just had to try it on. For this one night, he was going to be that guy who saves the damsel in the tower.

Paisley smiled at the girls whom she had followed and not spoken to. "So now I can re-dye my hair." She smiled and turned her wand to her hair turning it to tight blonde curls. "I so totally cant wait." She grinned and sat down on the floor.

Aston hunted through his trunk for bits he could put together for a cotume.

Adrianna laughed when she saw Paisley's hair. "You like being blond, don't you?" she asked grinning. "Speaking of which, I have a new idea for my hair..." she held up her wand and tapped her head with her wand. Instantly, her hair darkened, except for some highlights that were her original color. Then ribbons, the same color as her dress, seemed to sprout from her head and cascaded down her back, mixed in with her hair. She spun, and then looked at her friends. "What do you think?" she asked them.

"Im allowed to act dumb being blonde." She chuckled and gaped in awe at her friends hair. "It looks great. Looks like I have to get ready now." She smiled as she slipped on her dress. She grinned. "Whatcha think?"

Aston finally put his costume on and smiled at his work.

"Hey! No dumb blond jokes!" Adrianna pouted (ooc: I second that! Lol!). She grinned after a second, knowing her friend really didn't mean it. But, she wasn't blond now anyway. She glanced at the clock and grimaced. "WE really should get ready," she said. She turned to her mask and applied the finishing touches. "What do you think?" she asked, holding it up:

Paisley smiled. "You looked great hun." She picked up the mask she had made and smiled. "For the finishing touches." She smiled as she put her mask to her face. "Wouldnt they know who it is if we have our normal voices?" She asked as she applied her red lipstick.

"Hmm, I don't know... they might be able to tell," she said thoughtfully. She put down her mask and quickly changed into her dress. When she emerged from the curtains, she spun, enjoying the swirl of the light blue fabric. "Wait! I have an idea..." she said, grabbing her wand. "Paisley, open your mouth," she said, grinning with a slightly evil expression.

Paisley tightened her mouth. "what dyou mean open my mouth?" She looked at her tightening her lips.

"But sometimes, you can't always tell who a person is by their voice. Unless they have an accent or a really high pitched or low pitched voice," said Rocio. Adrianna then announced she had an idea. "An idea?" She watched her as she instructed Paisley to open her mouth. She wondered what in the world she had up her sleeve.

"If you do anything to me, I promise, Gabe will know about your undying love for him like that!" She snapped her fingers and then smiled at her friend. "But I trust you." Rocio opened her mouth just as she had been instructed and waited, a bit nervously.
