But unfortunately for Faris, his act wasn't necessarily the sneakiest of all and Jill was quick to catch on to his intentions. "Oh no you don't!" she said, apparating right before the boy without warning. "You can't go back to campus now! I bet those sorority girls already sent someone after you, you've got to hide! ... In a fraternity house, to be specific."

princess of*hp* 04-21-2010 01:13 AM

Faris frowned, turning around and beginning to march back from where he had come. "Sure, ragazza. Whatever you say," He smirked slightly, trying to contain a small bout of laughter as he trudged back along the grass towards where a puzzled Layla stood. Jill, Jill, Jill: she always had to get her way, didn't she? No matter; Faris would simply play along for now. Maybe the frat boys wouldn't be as bad as he thought them to be, although his gut instinct told him that his old opinions would still hold true.

Gryffindoll 04-21-2010 01:17 AM

Jillian eyebrows rose slightly as Faris agreed to her request without putting up a fight. What, just like that she had convinced him? Hmmm... She couldn't help being a little suspicious of this behaviour, but opted best to make nothing of it, but she'd definitely be keeping a close eye on the boy. "I'm glad you see there's some method to my madness after all, Faris," she said with a triumphant smile, beginning to lead the way over to the fraternity houses with Layla and Faris. "Which fraternity should we go visit first? Sigma Mu Eta, perhaps?" she offered.

Lottiepot 04-21-2010 01:21 AM

Layla smiled at her friends. She must have zoned out for a while. Thinking deeply about Auror training for the week. She looked up eventually. "Oh I don't know much about ze Frats. Zey are all good aparently" she laughed. She didn't really have that many male friends in the university. Too intimidated by her accent and French manners.

Gryffindoll 04-21-2010 01:24 AM

Jillian turned to Layla as she commented that she didn't know much about the fraternities, but believed they were all apparently good. "See?" she said, raising an eyebrow slightly at Faris before turning back to Layla. "I hear sometimes when the sororities have parties the boys from the frats are allowed in too?" she asked curiously. "Do you go to those? The parties, I mean," she added.

princess of*hp* 04-21-2010 01:28 AM

"Doesn't matter," Faris shrugged, letting Jill lead him into any crazy house frat house that she wished. It honestly didn't matter where the trio went, as long as they made a quick trip out of it. As of now, Faris simply wanted to get their little adventure over with. His stomach growled softly as he realized that he hadn't had any breakfast that morning. He frowned slightly as they approached a rather boisterous-looking frat house, music pumping on the inside and yells of testosterone-laden men emanating from the open doorway.

Gryffindoll 04-21-2010 01:34 AM

Jill came to a halt before the large and rather lively house with a grin on her face, as if it was a work of art worth admiring. "Sigma Mu Eta!" she announced, guiding herself by the large greek letters on front that announced the fraternity's name. "C'mon!" she said, urging the other two before quickly making her way up the steps of the house and opening one of the doors which had apparently been left unlocked. She walked inside only to be greeted by complete chaos - there were boys, hundreds of them, walking up and down and left and right all over the place, some calling out to others, others laughing and chatting, music filling in the background. Nothing like the sorority house they'd just left. "Whoa."

princess of*hp* 04-21-2010 03:57 AM

Faris stepped into the frat house hesistantly, his jaw dropping as they entered. What a hell hole! Did Jill honestly think that a farmboy like himself, one who usually valued peace and quiet (and to a certain degree, intelligence), would live in a place like this? He jumped back just in time as a guy in a toga came rushing by to make his way up the carpeted stairs. "Jill," Faris spoke, his voice caught between a nervous wobble and a slight growl. Now she had hopefully seen the error of her ways.

Gryffindoll 04-21-2010 05:00 PM

But much to Faris' misfortune, Jillian seemed to grow even more thrilled with the idea of getting the boy into a fraternity now that she had a chance to see the chaos these boys seemed to live in. "Faris - this is perfect for you!" she gasped, true and pure excitement sparkling in her eyes as she gazed around the place admiringly, as if it were a museum. "It's completely out of your comfort zone, I know, but that's precisely why you have to give it a try; it's something new for you, completely exciting!" she pointed out, a grin plastered across her face.

It was then that a rather short boy with platinum blonde - almost white - hair came up to the trio. Unlike the rest of the boys in the house, this one frat boy was dressed quite formally for the occasion, expensive robes gracing his shoulders and the finest shoes Europe had to offer covering his feet. He seemed to have spilled at least a gallon of cologne that morning, and Jill's nose wrinkled slightly at the strong smell. The boy's stance, with hands intwined behind his very straight back, made him seem rather uptight, snobby, even. "And just who are you?" he asked, raising an eyebrow at the group, his voice rather nasal and obnoxious.

princess of*hp* 04-22-2010 02:44 AM

Faris merely frowned at Jill's suggestion, resisting the urge to shake his head at the silly girl. Was she really willing to have Faris risk his safety and sanity to live in such a mad house, a place that was completely outside of his comfort zone? And suddenly, an intruder entered their midst. A rather pungent-smelling intruder, at that. "Faris-" He coughed, taking a few paces back as he tried to breathe through his mouth as to not seem rude, "Faris Patino. And this," He took a hand to gesture to his left, "Is Jillian, or Jill to be precise." He nonchalantly took a hand to his face and pretended to scratch his nose, although he was really trying to block the cologne from reaching his nostrils.

Gryffindoll 04-22-2010 05:34 PM

Jillian wasn't as prudent as Faris in showing her absolute disgust for the amount of cologne this blonde boy was wearing, and she waved a hand close to her face to shoo the smell away. She was sure it must've been a very fine cologne, as expensive as the boy's robes and shoes, but good grief that didn't mean he had to basically shower himself with it! The blonde boy scanned the pair standing before him through slightly narrowed eyes, examining them as if they were cattle up for sale. "You are having the honour of speaking with Sir Winston Van Valkenburgh of Northern London."

Jillian snorted. What, did he think he was some kind of Lord or something? Winston didn't seem to take her mocking very well, though, and was quick to throw the girl a glare. "He wonders, though, what two peasants such as yourselves are doing in his organization" - as if he owned the whole fraternity - "without invitation. Winston assumes you must be freshmen, are you not?" He raised an eyebrow at the pair, his gaze impatiently expectant.

Jillian merely stood there with a hand over her nose and her jaw on the floor. This kid was hilarious! If all boys in this fraternity were as loony as this one, she'd definitely have to get Faris a spot here! Oh, the many stories he could share about the absurdity these kids would say just for her amusement!

princess of*hp* 04-23-2010 03:50 AM

"You are having the honour of speaking with Sir Winston Van Valkenburgh of Northern London." Faris couldn't help but smirk. Who did this guy think he was? His expensive cologne reeked as badly as the mandrakes that his class had just tended the week before and his nose was as sharp as his tongue. That hair-do must have cost a pretty penny, and the clothes appeared to be outrageously expensive and definitely out of Faris's price range; not as if he would wear anything as stuffy and uncomfortable in the first place. "Peasant?" Faris laughed softly. Being an Italian farmboy, he had heard the word before. It didn't particularly bother him much, but Winston had obviously said it with a negative connotation. "And yes, Jill and I, here, are freshmen. And I assume you, Duke Balkyborough, are not?" Faris smirked, knowing he was being sarcastic. This kid deserved a taste of his own medicine.

Gryffindoll 04-23-2010 05:41 PM

Jillian nearly fell into a fit of amused giggles as Faris very sarcastically let the frat boy know that they were, indeed, freshmen, going on to completely change the boy's name as he asked about his own year. Winston looked positively annoyed by this, and his brows were furrowed disapprovingly at the pair as he examined them through narrowed and clearly displeased eyes. "That is Sir Winston Van Valkenburgh of Northern London for you, peasant," he said. "But you assume correctly. Sir Winston is not a freshman as yourselves, he is a junior pursuing a career in Healing and I can assure you, you will hear a lot more of him tha--"

"So are all the boys in the fraternity this crazy?" Jillian asked, never one to hold back from being rather blunt and straightforward. "If so, I think my friend Faris here would love to join!" she added with a grin.

Winston glared at her. "Winston was not done speaking!" But he was distracted as the girl added that Faris might want to join the fraternity. "Oh, is that so?" he asked with a bit of a smirk now, his eyebrows raising as his gaze fell upon the Italian boy.

princess of*hp* 04-24-2010 03:06 AM

Faris's smirk transformed into a small once Jill dissolved into laughter. Winston was obviously not amused. His brows furrowed together gave the appearance that a bleached-blonde caterpillar had taken refuge on his forehead, which made Faris want to die from laughter. Only a snort escaped his lips as he forced himself to remain calm. As Winston made his oh-so-classy retort, Faris readied to roll his eyes at the next sea of ridiculous remarks pouring from his lips when Jill spoke those simple words, those simple words that seemed like the kiss of death to the old-fashioned Sicilian boy.

"That is definitely not so," It was Faris's turn to furrow his brow as he shot daggers at Jill. He wasn't the crazy one; she was crazy for actually enjoying the chaotic atmosphere. "Don't even start with me, Jill," He growled, not pleased with her behavior.

Gryffindoll 04-24-2010 03:25 AM

"Oh come on, this would be a great way to learn to adapt to the whole university environment, to learn about English culture!" said Jillian, still clearly excited about this crazy idea as she flashed Faris an excited grin. Winston merely watched her as if she was insane, clearly still annoyed with the girl for having interrupted him earlier. "C'mon, you don't want to end up all uptight and moody like blondie here," she added a little more quietly, nudging the boy gently.

"Sir Winston heard that!" came Winston's voice suddenly, making the girl jump at the unexpectedness of it before she brought a hand up to her lips to keep herself from giggling aloud. This kid was priceless!

princess of*hp* 04-24-2010 03:43 AM

"I think I'm fine in my dormitory with Harlem and Syler," Faris spoke in a serious tone, his eyes flickering over to Winston momentarily as his nasal voice filled the air space once again. Faris wished that this supposed Sir would leave and go off irritating another newcomer, but Jill's encouragement wasn't helping much. "What about you? You seem so excited about this frat, and are so obviously enamored with Sir Winston-" He turned to the lordly boy, a faux-expression of seriousness on his features, "as she should be," And turning back to Jill, he began in a rather sarcastic tone once more, "-why don't you let him escort you around the frat house? Maybe he'll let you lick his shoes!" Faris stepped back, a rather satisfied look on his face as he waited for Winston's reaction.

Gryffindoll 04-24-2010 03:55 AM

Jillian's jaw dropped as Faris very sarcastically commented on her being 'so obviously enamored' with Sir Winston - something to which Winston gave a rather satisfied little smirk, straightening up and looking quite proud of himself - and suggested that the frat boy give her a tour, that perhaps by the end of it he'd let her lick his shoes. At these last words, even Winston's jaw was on the floor as well.

"Patino, you ungrateful brat!" said Jillian, arms crossed disapprovingly now.

"Sir Winston finds your sense of humour to be rather dry, freshman!" added Winston; Jillian merely rolled her eyes at him.

It was then that a tall, curly-haired boy with blue eyes and a lightly tanned skin stepped into the scene; Oliver Catherwood, my long-lost RP charrie that I forgot I had in here. Oh God, there's Winston annoying some newcomers again, the boy thought to himself, letting out a sigh as he approached the group. "They're calling for you upstairs, Winston," said the boy, receiving a rather cold, narrowed-eyed look from the shorter blonde boy before he left the scene and headed up the stairs of the large house instead, completely unaware that his fraternity brother had lied just to get him out of the scene. "Sorry, I hope he wasn't bothering you too much," said Oliver, turning to the others with a slightly apologetic smile.

princess of*hp* 04-24-2010 08:49 PM

Faris smirked, seeing that Jill had (possibly) given up her ruse. Now, did she possibly realize what she was trying to force him into? A semester, possibly a year of torture from Winston and the other uncivilized mongrels that inhabited the frat house? He bit his lip, a bit remorseful about his rude comment, but he smiled and turned to Winston after he had felt the need to speak once more. "Ah, I see you've progressed from calling me peasant to freshman, now? I guess sarcasm is prized in your book." Suddenly, it seemed as a friend had emerged from the abyss to save them. Faris barely knew Oliver, but for now he would act as if they were the best of friends so Oliver would hopefully get him out of the dire situation.

But no ruse from Faris was needed, as Oliver had spoken the magic words. "Too much? That's a bit of an understatement, with no help from Jillian over here." He stuffed his hands in the pockets of his trousers, still a little perturbed.

Lottiepot 04-24-2010 08:54 PM

Layla followed the others into the fraternity house. She had visited them before whilst with her sorority. She rolled her eyes at Winston. "He likes to think he's better zan he actually is" she whispered to the pair and smiled sweetly as he walked off. She had got along well with him but only because she faked it. Then Oiver came along. "Ollie" she smiled in her french accent and addressed him. She hadn't seen him in a while.

"Of course," She said outloud, nodding her head and smiling.

"So. What were you guys planning on doing?" She asked, trying to start a converstion before they got too lovey dovey to communicate.

Seeing Rosie had made him sorta forget why they were supposed to be meeting. But she did that to him at times.

Why were they here?

He scrunched his brows a little as he tried to remember.

Then it hit him.

"We were going to study. Sooo... I guess I could help you with anything you need it in?"

Gryffindoll 04-25-2010 04:34 AM

ooc: Oliver and Jill aren't related. ^^"

Jillian rolled her eyes as Faris mentioned she'd been no help with Winston. "I just want to know one thing - are all boys in this fraternity, or all fraternities perhaps, that insane?"

Oliver chuckled softly to himself at the freshmen's response and shook his head slightly. "No, Winston's pretty unique," he replied, examining the newcomers for a moment before adding, "You're welcome to go and check out the rest of the house, if you wish. I promise there's no other Winstons around to ruin your visit," he said with a slightly amused smile; he couldn't help it, though, sometimes Winston's behaviour was rather amusing to watch.

The curly-haired boy then turned to the sophomore accompanying the two freshmen as she spoke, greeting him with that familiar French accent he couldn't help but find rather charming. "Layla," he replied to her simple greeting, a polite and friendly smile on his features. "Haven't seen you around in a while, did you purposely pick a completely different schedule from me?" he asked, eyebrows raising questioningly though he was obviously just teasing the girl. Layla was a nice girl and it was hard not to get along with her.

princess of*hp* 04-25-2010 04:46 AM

Faris waved as Layla had arrived, glad to have another sane person in the vicinity. Maybe he could get her to vouch for his cause, but that would have to happen later. "Yes, I suppose you could call him hilarious. But after the stunt that Jill pulled back at Layla's sorority..." He trailed off, shaking his head as he attempted to chuckle at the recent mortification that he had experienced. Turning to Jill, he asked with a rather serious look plastered onto his tan features, "Really, Jill, are you trying to get me maimed? Killed? Possibly have me admitted to a mad house?"

Gryffindoll 04-25-2010 10:10 PM

ooc: YES!! :woot:

"Oh why must you think the worst of me, Patino?" Jillian asked, putting on a face of innocence as she shook her head slightly, as if she honestly didn't understand why Faris could possibly think she wanted him killed or in a mad house. "C'mon, let's go see what else we can find. You heard the boy, not everyone here is like Sir Winston, maybe you'll find something you'll like," she said.

Lottiepot 04-25-2010 10:15 PM

OOC: I never said they were and Well Done! AGAIN! :P

Layla giggled slightly at Oliver's statement. "Non" she said making it sound as is hse did but she giggled. "No I didn't. Auror training takes up so much of ze time" she sighed. She would have loved to have the same classes as Oliver but it reallyw as difficlut. She giggled at what Jill was saying. "No they most certainly are not. Winston is just a little too over ze top" she giggled again.

princess of*hp* 04-26-2010 12:02 AM

"Something... in the midst of this?" Faris had to raise his voice as someone had turned on some loud, techno, muggle tunes on the wizarding wireless radio. "Unless this place hides a secluded Sicilian villa that's not inhabited by liquor-chugging mongrels, I'm all ears. But other than that, I think I've seen enough." He placed his hands over his chest rather decisively, his feet planted firmly on the ground. To some, he might have appeared like a stubborn, overgrown toddler.
