Faris wanted to laugh at the state that Jillian was in but held back, knewing that he had to be serious if Jill wasn't to run off and go mad again. Faris flailed his arms about, knowing that he looked like an idiot as he strained his ears to hear an oncoming presence. "Here, here!" He whispered, his words almost sounding like a hiss. Faris knew that his efforts must have been futile but it was worth a shot. Faris began to wind back the way that they had come, still attempting to find his thestral. "Jill," He began, "This is of no use."

Gryffindoll 06-23-2010 01:10 AM

"Don't be negative, Patino!" said Jillian as Faris decided that this was all completely useless as he continued flailing his arms around and the young girl continued walking in circles, searching blindly through the air. They truly were an amusing sight, and someone was quick to take notice.

"Well, well, well. If it isn't Dumb and Dumber," came an all too familiar slightly nasal and obnoxiously annoying voice - Sir Winston. "Sir Winston is most offended by the sight of such idiots performing their idiocy rituals, Taylor, you shouldn't have led me this way," said the boy, this time addressing the tall blonde beside him. "Let us be careful, we might catch their stupidity."

Jillian came to an abrupt halt then and narrowed her eyes spitefully at the pair, nearly growling at the sight of them. "Very funny, Snob!"

princess of*hp* 06-23-2010 01:33 AM

Faris quickly let his arms fall, his frown deepening as he noticed who had happened upon their embarrasing search for the patronus. "Good morning to you, too," Faris spoke sarcastically, taking a look at the rather short snob in his hiking gear, a huge backpack on his shoulders, and Taylor beside him, dressed in knee-high leather boots and a black taffeta dress. She wore large black sunglasses, which made her look like a fly rather than the rockstar that she hoped to be.

"We wouldn't have run into them if it wasn't for this stupid trip," Taylor growled, her kohl-rimmed eyes narrowing as she glared at the pair of freshmen. "What were you two doing, anyways? A mating dance?" She snorted, a wicked smile appearing on her lips and revealing a few red lipstick stains on her teeth.

Gryffindoll 06-23-2010 01:43 AM

Jillian rolled her eyes as Taylor asked if they were doing a mating dance just then, quickly growing annoyed (and reluctantly amused) by the self-centered snobby pair that had just joined them. "What are you two doing here, anyway?" asked Jillian, opting best to ignore Taylor's question. She raised an eyebrow slightly at Winston's attire; the poor boy seemed like he would fall flat on his face any second, as the huge backpack he was carrying did not only carry his own tent and things, but Taylor's many hairbrushes, dresses, skirts, high heels, boots, etc. etc. She, of course, wasn't carrying a thing. She had Winston for that.

"What does it look like we're doing, stupid? Attending a camp-out," replied Winston as if this was obvious, rolling his gray eyes at Jillian who was slowly turning red in the face, clearly quite offended and infuriated by the boy's rude response. "Now, if you are done spreading your stupidity around the forest, Sir Winston and Lady Taylor would appreciate it if you spared us your presence and moved out of our way."

Jillian was quiet for a moment, her light brown eyes narrowing and her arms folding. "No," she replied simply.

princess of*hp* 06-23-2010 01:56 AM

Faris was surprised, albeit pleasantly, at Jillian's gall. These two deserved to get a taste of their own medicine. Faris stood up straight, standing next to Jillian as he folded his arms across his chest. A small smirk appeared on his face, "You heard her." That was all he managed to say as he took a look at the couple's dumbfounded faces. Taylor's jaw had dropped, her mouthed former into a long O as she stood next to Winston, mortified.

However, Taylor quickly recovered from her shock. She whipped off her retro sunglasses, thrusting them into Winston's stomach as a growl escaped her throat. She made her way over to the underclassmen, leaves crackling under her high-heeled boots as she precariously balanced her way over. "Look," She began, her eyes narrowing as she knelt down to hiss in Jillian's face, "I said move. You either do it, or face the consequences." She stood straight up, her boots making her nearly as tall as Faris as she towered over both Winston and Jill.

Gryffindoll 06-23-2010 02:24 AM

Sir Winston looked like he had just been slapped in the face. Who did these freshmen think they were, to disobey their orders like that?! But before the boy could reply or anything, Taylor had taken matters into her own hands, thrusting her sunglasses into Winston's stomach, which the boy was quick to take into his hands, and he watched as the tall blonde approached the other two, a proud smirk on his face. That was his Tay-Tay!

Jillian didn't seem bothered by Taylor's sudden proximity, if anything, she actually seemed more fueled by it. Who did this corpse bride think she was, just hissing on her face like that?! "Do as you please, Blondie, but we're not moving!" replied Jillian stubbornly before adding in a very quiet whisper to the boy beside her, "Err... what was that spell you used on me earlier?" she asked very quietly, barely moving her lips, her eyes fixed on Taylor.

princess of*hp* 06-23-2010 02:31 AM

Taylor took a few steps back, her jaw dropping as she inhaled sharply, her hands now over her heart. "How dare you, peasant?!" Taylor shrieked, using one of Sir Winston's most favorite terms as she began to holler. As she continued to yell obscenities about the two innocent bystanders, Faris murmured, "It was levicorp-" But before he could finish his sentence, Sir Winston was thrown onto his back as it seemed as if an invisible horse had thrown him down. Faris gasped; had that been his patronus, coming to return with the news?

Before Faris could tell everyone in the vicinity to keep quiet, Taylor rushed to Winston, screaming. "WINNIE!" She cried, throwing her hands into the air. She knelt at his size, making sure her dress didn't touch the forest floor. Taking his head into her hands, she began, "Are you alright, dahling?"

While this was occuring, Faris was fuming. "My patronus... it came back, and now it's probably gone!" He spoke rather loudly to Jill as he threw his own hands into the air, beginning to pace furiously.

Gryffindoll 06-23-2010 02:37 AM

Sir Winston fell back onto the ground with a loud 'thud!' completely unable to regain any balance as he fell as the heavy backpack on his back dragged the boy down onto the mud. "Uuurrghhh!" Gross! That nasty dirt and mud got in his beautiful blonde hair! "What the bloody hell was that!?" asked an infuriated Winston before Taylor came over to him and asked if he was alright, taking his head into her hands. At this, the boy suddenly seemed to shrink, to turn all weak and innocent. "Sir... Sir Winston isn't feeling very well, lady Taylor... he hit his head hard," he said softly, as if having difficulty speaking because of the hit.

Jillian, well able to see past his act, rolled her eyes before turning her attention to Faris who seemed positively horrified by what had just happened, by having lost his patronus. "Well..." the girl muttered softly, trying to think of a solution to all this. "All we have to do is retrace our steps and... and we'll be back where we were -- actually, these two clowns might know the way back! I bet they have a map, they can't possibly be smart enough to make their way out here on their own!" decided Jillian, as if it took much brains to get lost.

princess of*hp* 06-23-2010 02:44 AM

"Oh Merlin!" Taylor gasped, cooing and coddling her boyfriend as he lay down and out. Quickly dropping him, she stood up straight. "YOU!" She roared, her hate directed at the pair. "It's your fault that my dear Winnie-poo is near death. You almost killed him. FIX him!" She stomped her foot on the ground, her stiletto heel becoming stuck in the thick mud as she tried to remove it. Becoming even angrier, she slapped her hands on her thighs as a fierce shriek gurgled out of her throat, her anger now directed at the ground rather than Faris and Jillian.

Taking advantage of Taylor's distraction, Faris turned to Jill and tried to breathe and regain his composure. "Alright," He began, attempting to remain zen. "But you do the talking. I don't think I can handle any more of their stupidity after this. I might say something that I'll regret." He turned to glare at Taylor, who was still struggling with her boot and the mud.

Gryffindoll 06-23-2010 03:30 AM

"Ow!" Winston winced softly as Taylor abruptly dropped his head, causing him to hit it quite suddenly and a little harshly against the dirt, momentarily knocking the boy out. But of course, Taylor and Jill and Faris were all too distracted to really notice the blonde boy who'd just passed out. Instead, Jillian was momentarily distracted by Taylor trying to tug her boot out of the mud, hissing angrily to herself in a way that Jillian couldn't help but be rather amused at. However, she was soon distracted from the pale corpse bride blonde as Faris spoke, agreeing to her earlier suggestion but quickly letting the girl know that she had to do the talking as he might end up saying something that he would regret. At this, Jill's jaw dropped. Eh?! Her?! Why her?! But the girl made no objections, not wanting to aggravate Faris any further, and sighed in defeat. "Alright..."

Clearing her throat softly, Jillian very cautiously approached Taylor. Ugh, she'd have to be nice if she wanted to get her way with the annoying Yankee. "Um... do you need a little help there, corp-- uh... Taylor?" she offered politely.

princess of*hp* 06-23-2010 09:41 PM

After a minute of struggling, Taylor finally yanked her boot out of the mud. She fell back, bracing herself against the trunk of a large pine tree as she regained her breath and her composure. However, as she made to stand up and regain her zombie-like posture, something was wrong. She felt uneven, as if... Looking towards the bit of mud that she had just battled with, she noticed her stiletto sticking out of the mud. She had to take a double take between her boot on her foot, her stiletto in the mud, and back again. The damn dirt had broken her shoe! She slumped over to the mud to yank out the broken, thin heel that had wedged itself into the forest floor. As for today, it seemed as if she would be walking with her left foot five inches higher than her right.

It was then that she heard Jillian's voice. She snarled, her hackles rising as she stood up, the broken piece of her shoe in her palm. "I don't need any help, especially not from you." However, taking a look at the diminutive girl, a light shone through a miniscule whole in Taylor's black heart. She could use the sweet girl to her advantage. "Actually," Taylor began, flipping her long hair behind her shoulder, "You can help. Go and revive dear Winnie." She turned to cast a loving look at her passed-out beau. "I'm too emotionally and physically weak to do so." And in a repeat at what she had done in front of the duo at Rush Week, she placed the back of her hand on her forehead and leaned back in a faux-swoon.

Faris stood stoically as the events took place. He gritted his teeth; the gentleman in him wanted to magically repair her broken boot, but he felt as if dear Tay-Tay could go a day schlumping around. She seemed to deserve all of the rotten luck that she got.

Gryffindoll 06-23-2010 10:09 PM

Jillian watched as Taylor seemed to free herself from the ground, only to be left with a broken boot, one of her feet now to be higher than the other. The girl bit at her bottom lip to keep herself from laughing at this, as she was supposed to be playing nice, but her wishes to laugh quickly came to an abrupt end as Taylor began to address her, deciding that she could help her in way.

Uh-oh. Jillian didn't like this... she didn't like it at all. And then, just a second later, Taylor had ordered her to revive her precious 'Winnie'. Jillian's brows furrowed in disgust at the sight of the knocked-out boy and she tried her best not to let her jaw drop in horror at this task. She had to go and get near that git?! What if his idiocy rubbed off on her?! But if she ever wanted to find out if the others were anywhere near and where exactly the whole group was meeting, she'd have to play nice and get the information out of this pair.

"Alright..." muttered the girl most unenthusiastically, rather hesitantly making her way over to the blonde boy who lay unconscious on the ground. She pulled out her wand then and poked his arm. "Hey... hey, wake up. Wake up, you git!" she whispered harshly, hoping Taylor wouldn't hear her, but Winston didn't even twitch. Jillian sighed now. "I think he's dead," she announced nonchalantly.

princess of*hp* 06-23-2010 10:23 PM

Faris gasped. Was Jillian simply kidding, or was she being serious? It was hard to tell, but after having known her for such a while Faris simply figured that Jill was simply trying to pull one over on the one who she had christened 'Corpse Bride.'

Taylor, on the other hand, was distraught. "What?" Her jaw dropped as she took her hands to grasp her thin, stringy hair. "You-killed-WINNIE!" She screamed. After crying out, she began to shake as her breathing quickened. Her face scrunched up, as if she were forcing her tear ducts to act at once. It was all too obvious that she was attempting to sob hysterically, but she was failing miserably. Realizing that she was embarrassing herself, Taylor made a last-ditch effort and threw herself on top of Winston, her body racking with fake sobs as she buried her face in his chest. "NO!" She bawled. "NOOO!" She slapped her palm on the dirt as she continued her theatrics.

Faris, unmoved, shuffled over to Jill and murmured, "Can we leave them... now?"

Gryffindoll 06-23-2010 10:49 PM

Jillian watched as Taylor reacted dramatically to her words, though she was very obviously not really bothered or hurt by this news at all. It was then that Faris quietly murmured if they could leave the crazy pair now and Jillian nodded her head. "Yeah, I think it's best we--"

She was cut off by the sound of coughing and wheezing, and a moment later the boy she had pronounced dead sat up on the dirt, looking a complete mess with twigs and leaves and dirt in his usually very neat blonde hair, his cold gray eyes wild as he looked around. "Wh--where am I... Where am I?!" He turned to Taylor, then, who was almost tackling him back onto the ground and his expression turned horrified. "Who the bloody hell are you?!"

Jillian's eyes widened. "Oh. My. God.... He's speaking in a first person point of view... There's something seriously wrong!"

princess of*hp* 06-24-2010 01:08 AM

Faris had made to leave before he noticed a rustling under Taylor's "distraught" form. Taylor, in the meantime, had dramatically sniffed as she rose from Winston's waking body. "Winnie, oh Winnie!" Taylor smiled manically and planted a big, wet kiss on his forehead, leaving a red stain as she pulled away. "You're alive! I saved you!" But she stopped in her tracks as something seemed terribly wrong. She jumped away from him as if he were diseased and backed away against a tall, thick shrub. "No..." She gasped, taking a hand to cover her mouth as she prepared to go into her melodramatic acting once more.

Faris, meanwhile, was thinking fast. "Jill... Jill." He grabbed her arm, shaking it as he wasn't sure of what else to do. "We need to take him back, now. He needs some serious medical help." Faris's pulse rose dramatically as Winston looked about, a frightened expression on his usually-shrewd face.

Gryffindoll 06-24-2010 01:25 AM

Jillian was completely oblivious to Taylor's dramatic acting, her eyes fixed on this new and very unusual Winston. Winston, meanwhile, looked completely lost and confused, and his blonde eyebrows furrowed at the dramatic tall blonde girl that had just slobbered all over his forehead. Eww... The boy tried to get up then, but was pulled back down onto the ground as the large and heavy backpack he was carrying weighed him down. "What the-- what's in this thing?!" he demanded, clearly annoyed.

Jillian was momentarily distracted from the amusing sight of the new Winston as Faris suddenly began shaking her arm, demanding that they take winston back as he needed some serious medical help. "Patino, relax!" said the girl. "I actually kind of like this new Sir Winston... I say we leave him like that!" she suggested with a bit of a smirk on her lips.

princess of*hp* 06-24-2010 01:35 AM

Faris slowly released Jill's arm, realizing that she could have a valid point. "Yes, but..." He glanced warily at Sir Winston, who struggled and looked like a dying cockroach by the way he lay on his back and moved about. "What'll happen when everyone else finds him like this? Taylor will tell everyone that we cursed him, or did something." He glanced at the young pale girl, who warily approached her beau. "Winnie?" She asked hesitantly, "Do you need some help down there?" Even though she had asked, Taylor kept her hands tightly to her side as if she were afraid to touch the amnesiac.

Gryffindoll 06-24-2010 01:42 AM

"Well, we'll just have to make sure she won't tell, won't we?" suggested Jill with slightly raised eyebrows as Faris voiced his concerns. She sounded frighteningly evil at the moment, but her intentions weren't cruel. She wanted to have some fun with this new little miracle that had just taken place, and then send Winston off to get some medical help later, when she was done messing with him.

"Who're you?" asked Winston, looking up at the tall pale Yankee girl that was addressing him, one of his blonde eyebrows raising questioningly as he slowly made his way up to his feet, his knees shaking beneath all this weight.

"Awwww, looks like Winnie Pooh can't remember his precious Corpse Bride!" teased Jillian, who was quite obviously enjoying this turn of events.

princess of*hp* 06-24-2010 06:24 AM

Faris simply shrugged, unsure of whether or not he wanted to go through with Jill's scheme. Faris greatly disliked the couple, but he always tried to be a gentleman no matter who he was dealing with. He began to chew on his lower lip, not sure of whether to join Jill in her taunting. At least for now, he was content with being a spectator rather than a participator.

Taylor drew away, limping in her broken shoes as she realized what had happened. Her boyfriend had no idea who she was; it was tragic, it was heartwrenching, it was an autobiographical plot that Taylor now considered telling the script writers of her show about. She had been about to speak to dear Winston when none other than the peasant girl chimed in. "Corpse Bride?" Taylor cackled, "I take that as a compliment, thank you very much. You're just jealous that your make-up isn't as thick as mine, and that you would never be able to snag such a doll like him." She thrust her thumb behind her, pointing to the confused Sir as he looked about confusedly.

Gryffindoll 06-24-2010 11:06 PM

Jillian rolled her light brown eyes as Taylor took her insults as a compliment, going on to comment that this was just Jill's jealousy on her make-up not being as thick as Taylor's. But Jill didn't even wear make-up in the first place! Well, maybe a bit of eyeliner, but that was it. Either way, the little catfight seemed to amuse the new Sir Winston to no end, especially as he was referred to as 'a doll'. "Well," he started with a sheepish chuckle, "I don't know about doll but I am pretty good-look--"

"So what're you going to do now, huh, Corpsie? Your boyfriend doesn't remember who you are and we're certainly not helping you. How are you going to get back to the others?" asked Jillian a little curiously. "Do you even know how to ride a broom?"

Sir Winston gave Jillian a puzzled look for a moment before laughing aloud, amused. "What are you, witches?" he asked, amused by Jillian's last question, as if it was the most ridiculous thing he had ever heard. Oh Merlin, this boy needed some medical help... fast.

Hailey was so tired. She had just taken a Herbology exam and she knew she did poorly on it because she hadn't studied. Well, she studied a BIT--of course, it's hard to focus after you've spent the night partying. But whatever, she had a great time.
Now, she was walking along, carrying an iced tea in her hand, and thinking about maybe going to the Herbology professor and sucking up to him a bit. Maybe he would bring her grade up...

Jason was really happy right now. He had totally aced that Herbology exam, he was sure of it. And there was no way that he was getting anything less than an O on it.

He grinned as he walked up to Hailey. "How do you think you did on the exam?"

Hailey's smile faded as she heard Jason address her. "Huh?" She said as she whirled around to face him. She was still thinking about going to the professor. "Oh, ummm...not bad." OKay, so she totally lied, but it's not like he would know. Right? "I bet you did terrific, right?" She asked him, taking a sip of her drink. Must be awesome, being a genius and all.

Why was it that whenever he came up to this girl, her smile faded? Did she not like him? He couldn't believe that though. She had to like him... He was her friend.

"Yeah, the exam was really easy. I was the first one done. I just wanted to see how you did as well."
