Faris swatted away Jill's wand pokes with his hands, turning to her and sternly saying, "It simply means girl. I could have said worse, y'know." Turning back to face the sorority house, he smiled as he saw Layla bringing back his shoes, socks, and, most importantly, his wand. "Grazie," He nodded vigorously, plopping down on the grass to pull on his socks and shoes. After tying the laces of his trainers and rolling down the cuffs of his trousers, he began as he stood up, "I just took a small, erm, dip in the pool. That was before someone came out and caught me." He chuckled embarrassedly, rubbing the back of his neck as his gaze fell to the ground. |
Jillian rolled her eyes at Faris as he sternly told her the word he had said simply meant 'girl', that he could've said something worse. But she seemed rather amused; she always seemed to find amusement in pushing Faris' buttons. "Very well, boy," she said before turning to Layla. "Is an angry senior girl still there? I'm kind of scared of going back in with her around..." she said with a soft chuckle, honestly a little worried she might've already made a bad first impression though technically it was Faris who had broken the rules (thanks to her evil doing); but it was her who'd 'helped' him get away; so she wasn't sure how the other sorority girls were going to look at her now. |
Jason was looking for Rosie, but he couldn't find her anywhere. Why was he having a hard time finding anyone that he wanted to talk to lately? But whatever, she only wanted him to help her study and if she didn't come, at least he had tried. So he took a seat on a bench in the courtyard and started to read, thinking maybe she would show up at some point. |

"Hey," She said in greeting. "So. Where's you girlfriend?" She asked, trying not to gag at the thought. |
Quote:
"There you are! I've been -" But when he turned to look at her, instead he saw that it was Hailey. "Oh..." And she hadn't looked happy to see him ever since that day they had lunch and he asked Rosie out. "I'm not sure where she is. But I've been waiting for her. Why?" |
Quote:
"I just thought you guys would be hanging out a lot now," She said in response, folding her arms across her chest. But what did she care about Rosie? Nothing, that's what. In fact, there was no reason for Jason and her to even be friends anymore...it was clear he preferred Rosie's company to her's. |

He was rather confused by the way she was acting with him lately and he was getting tired of it. Being a paranoid boy didn't make things easy for him! "Hailey, do you have a problem with me? Because it seems to me that you do lately." And he was getting tired of this. |
Quote:
"No, of course not. Why would I have a problem with you?" she said after some pause, reaching over to pick lint off her cut-offs. |
Bloody girls and their mixed signals... This was why he didn't trust females. They made no sense and then they got mad at him for stupid things and wouldn't tell him why. It was sorta like how Rosie wasn't really around anywhere lately. He would have thought she would be seeing him more than she was. "I don't know why you would, but it seems that lately you don't want to talk to me. And you seem mad at me." |
Quote:
"I'm not mad at you. I'm just...stressed," She said. Yeah, that seemed like a good lie. Well, it wasn't really a lie since she really was stressed. But she was also mad at him. |
Quote:
"You know, I can help you with your homework so that you're not as stressed out." He wanted to help her. He liked helping her. Odd really. |
Quote:
"Oh really? Well, Fliss usually helps me, but she's been really busy lately," She said thoughtfully. But his offer was very considerate. "Thanks, I would love that," She said finally, giving him a momentary smile. And what would happen if Miss Rosie found out about this? Hmm. |
Quote:
She had told him that he was her friend, and even though he was still unsure about her and her behavior, he was trying to trust her. |
Quote:
"Oh really? Why, what happened?" She asked suddenly as he brought up Rosie. She really wanted to know what he meant by that. |
Quote:
"I don't know how things are working out. She's like hardly ever around now. I mean I should be seeing her more often, right? That's how it's supposed to go." Not that he wanted them to be attached at the hip or anything.. but it was nice to see your girlfriend. |
Quote:
"Yeah, you should be! Hmm, well, maybe you should talk to her?" She suggested. She didn't want him to be unhappy, no matter how much she disliked this girl. |
Quote:
He rubbed the back of his neck distractedly as he tried to think. "I mean things aren't terrible, but I just want to see her more. You know?" He watched her curiously for a second before turning his gaze away again. |
Quote:
It was only when she got there that she noticed Hailey. Great. "Hey Hottie." She smiled, as she wrapped her arms around Jason's neck. "Hi Hailey." Better be polite. |
Quote:
Quote:
"Hi Rosie," She replied politely, trying to look the other way she put her arms around him. "Well. I've got tons to do...I should be going..." |
Quote:
Quote:
"Hello, gorgeous," he said kissing her cheek and smiling. Because now she was here. And he wouldn't have to worry about her not being with him like he tended to do what with being paranoid and all. But why was Hailey wanting to leave now? "Stay, Hailey. I told you I would help you too. I insist." |
Quote:
Wait....Hailey was leaving. "Don't feel like you have to leave Hailey..." |
Quote:
Quote:
"Oh, alright, I'll stay for a little while," She said finally, sitting back down on the bench. What now? |
He was glad that Rosie was here as he took her hand when she grabbed his. Aww. He liked that. And he liked her. She was awesome and he liked dating her. She didn't make him so confused when she was there. And he liked it. "It's okay, I'm just glad you're here now." And that was very true. He squeezed her hand gently and then turned his attention back to Hailey. He was glad she was staying too. "Great. Because we are all friends here." Or they all should be. Because Rosie was nice. |
Quote:
"Of course," She said outloud, nodding her head and smiling. "So. What were you guys planning on doing?" She asked, trying to start a converstion before they got too lovey dovey to communicate. |
Faris removed his hand from his neck, a small smile lighting up his features as he realized that now was the time to act. Beginning to back away slowly, he began, chuckling in an uncharacteristically nervous manner, "So, Layla! I believe with your help, Jill will have an easy time getting into your sorority. So, I believe my work is done..." He promptly turned, beginning to speed walk across the freshly-cut lawn as he hoped that Jill wouldn't notice his sneaky escape. |
