Liesel sat in her cozy office, flipping through a book, uninterested. Finally after some time of staring blankly at the same page for 5 minutes, she sat the book down and gazed anxiously at the clock. 15 more minutes till class begun. She was excited, yes, but strangely couldnt sum up the feeling for too long. Liesel stood up, stretching her arms, and walked into her classroom, which was dead silent. She sat at her desk in the front of the room, holding her wand tightly while sipping on a mug of hot chocolate. |

"Yeah. Okay. Well then," She said now. She was out of things to talk about. "Well, I'm going to go to my dorm now, so...I guess I'll see you tomorrow. Bye." She waved to him, and Barbie and Rosie as well, walking with a spring in her step. She couldn't wat for tomorrow now, and she HAD to tell Fliss. |
He blinked as she randomly started to walk away. He had thought that they were talking. She had seemed to want to talk to him. But what did he know about crazy girls like her? "Bye!" he waved after her as she left. Oh well. Back to Rosie and Barbie now. |

"Well, knowing that the same goes for my class and other lessons as well might lift your spirits." He hated to admit but the performance of the class was below average. Not a single one of them had labeled all the plants correctly which was shame. "That is why I'm conducting an introductory class and I suggest you do the same." He said, shaking his head slowly. Most of them were worried about their hair, broken nails, love-triangles and what not. "Half of the girls were painting their nails while I was describing the morphology of seeds." It was such an interesting topic and heaven knows how much he was ticked off by their behavior. Sipping his coffee, he rested his head against the back of the couch as he shut his blue eyes that had a hue of grey. During the short silence, a number of thoughts were swimming across his mind until a very intriguing idea came to him. "I have an idea." This might work or completely fail. |

He looked at her funny. What parent didn't want their child to be able to support themselves. His mom never would have let him sit at home without a job. 'A man that doesn't work doesn't eat,' was her motto. He tended to agree with her. He hated having to ask his mother for money to do what he wanted to do with it. Making his own money took care of that. "Why would that upset them?" Her parents were sounding really unreasonable and he was trying not to totally bash them in front of her. People got really upset when you talked about their family even if they agreed with your assessment. "I mean your not a kid anymore Onyx you should be free to do what you want to do with your life." He wouldn't want to waste 3 years of his life going to school when his heart wasn't in it. |

"Thats because you do not understand quidditch Fliss." He grinned at her. She was too concerned with her studies, and girly stuff. "Yeah...ma cares about work too much." Which was probably why he wasn't so close with her. Quote:
She glanced as Hailey walked off, so she totally hadn't been listening to their conversation or anything. "You're gonna go on a date with her?" She asked, turning to face him. Maybe she could convince him not too. |

But she did take it off, no use in getting on his bad side again. "Because I don't want to understand it." She shrugged, but grinned at him, and gave him a quick hug. "Mummy loves you anyways, both of us, she just loves being a lawyer more. I'm gonna go back to my dorm, see if I can find Hailey. Bye Max." She grinned, and bounced up and kissed her twins cheek before skipping off. Quote:

Mr. Patino Dean was getting furious. He had been sitting in the room with Mr. Patino for a long time now and nobody is coming. He stood up and cleared his throat and handed Mr. Patino a book. "Mr. Patino, this book is a special book, it will turn to any published book you like, but only once. Use it wisely." he then turned his back to the boy and said, "Mr. Patino, kindly tell the other students that since nobody came for the orientation, all first years will have an examination regarding Dark Arts. Thank you very much for coming and you may leave." he said sitting slowly on his chair. |
Layla, Connelly, and Faris Quote:

As they reached the classroom, Jillian walked in just in time to hear the words - 'you may leave'. Nooooooo! "Wait! Wait, I'm sorry, I-- I lost track of time, I forgot there was a meeting today!" said Jill. Okay, so saying you forgot a meeting isn't the best excuse to be late to one, but better honesty than tangling yourself up in a web of lies. "Did I... is it over?" she asked, glancing around the room to find only Faris was there. What, did everyone else leave already? She knew she was late, but she had no idea she had been that late! |
Layla grinned. "Well good." she said as she followed Jill in. "Of course it's not much to ask. I'd be. Err...What do you say? Thrilled?" Layla smiled as she walked in. "Hello Proffessor. I hope you don't mind me joining you today. I've missed a few lessons because of ze Auror training and I love your lessons so much so i've decided to come back," layla said in her incredibly thick french accent. Being a sophomore meant that Layla knew the teachers really well. "Calm down Jill. By ze looks of it no one turned up." She smiled at the proffessor. "Sorry. I was showing Jill around ze sorority house and ze campus. I hope you don't mind too much" she smiled again. Layla loved university. Number one because she could learn the culture of that country and number two because she liked the learning eperience with the amazing teachers. She seemed to get along well with everyone she had. |
Faris glanced up, having taken a light snooze throughout the event. Or had the event even started? He lifted his head from the wooden desk and gazed about, slightly dazed and finding a nervous Jill with Layla right beside her. "Afternoon," He nodded and put a hand up in a hello, patting his mouth as he yawned and proceeding to rub his eyes. "Late?" He glanced around, Professor Connelly nowhere to be found. "I'm not sure if it even began. Might've, considering I think I just slept through it." Chuckling, he took a hand to muss up his black hair before beginning once more. "I guess today's COMC lesson just tuckered me out a bit more than I had thought." |
"Bonjour Faris" Layla smiled in her French accent. "No he is here. I'm not even supposed to be here anyway. Being a Sophomore my lessons have been overtaken by Auror training" she laughed "But i'm keeping Jill here company today." She laughed as he yawned. "What were you doing in ze COMC lesson? Chasing thestrals"she joked. |
Jillian's light eyebrows rose slightly as Faris shared that the lesson hadn't even started yet, though if it had he might've just dozed all through it. She smiled faintly with amusement at this and shook her head slightly at the boy, then giving a laugh as Layla asked if he had been chasing Thestrals in his last class. It was then that her gaze fell upon the book on the boy's desk, which Professor Connelly had given him earlier, though of course Jill didn't know that. "What's that?" she asked curiously, her head still on the lesson she had missed. Or almost missed. Whichever. |
"Ciao," Faris nodded to Layla, responding in his native tongue. "And chasing thestrals... not exactly, but close." Faris laughed softly, dimples appearing in his cheeks. Layla was a nice girl. When they had first met, Faris had felt slightly intimidated. The French were known for being snobs, and Layla being a sophomore made Faris feel all the more miniscule. But after speaking to her, Faris had grown more comfortable about the girl. She defied stereotypes by being one of the kindest people that Faris had met, and the fact that they were both foreigners was definitely a plus. Hearing Jill's inquiry, he turned to where her gaze rested, almost having forgotten the book to be there. "Oh," He began, "There was something in here that Professor Connelly wanted to go over with the class. Something about basic defenses and all that jazz." |

He shrugged at her next comment. "Well, not really a date seeing as no one asked anyone out." So yeah. He was still single if Rosie was interested. |
Professor Liesel Bubz sighed irritatedly as she drummed her fingers against her hard wooded desk. Where were all her students?! Of course more than 0 had signed up for Charms, and barely a couple for art, but where were they? As nice as the Charms Professor might've seem, she has the lowest patience ever. Even waiting for the ice cream truck when she was little bugged her. It wasnt until she started "accidentally" throwing snowballs at him with her uncontrollable magic did she notice how bad her patience level was. Her chair screeched loudly as she stood up, almost knocking her chair over. She walked grudgingly over to the door and peered outside to the empty hallway (or whatever there is at uni's). She huffed loudly and pushed open the door as she walked out in the hall (or whatever there is at uni's). Professor Liesel walked down the corridor/whatever and noticed that her fellow colleague Professor Lucian Liverpool was waiting for his students aswell. "Students not here yet?" she asked casually as Liesel leaned against the doorway, leaning into her room slightly. |

"Well, Ms. Holtcombe, there was no orientation that materialized. Mr. Patino here was the only one who arrived and I have decided to cut it up and just to give the whole first years an examination." he said feeling that it is just fitting for the firsties. Then he saw a sophomore. Quote:

Layla smiled. "Bonjour. Oh okay zen." She grinned as he mentioned training. "It went very well Merci." She noticed that perhaps he wanted her to do something for him. "Is zere anything I can do for you Proffessor? I'm more zen willing to help out" she said in her thick French accent. She frowned as he mentioned no one turned up. "Well that is very strange. Your classes are fantastique. Why would no one turn up?" Layla liked slipping in a few French phrases once in a while. She smiled at Jill. "I would love to. Except we got a drink earlier. I want to see whether ze proffessor has a job for moi first. I will join you later if you like." |
Quote:
But what bugs him is the fact that some insolent first years had the guts of not showing up to his orientation. He faced Layla and said, "Well, you know how first years are. They tend to test the Professors at first. But i can sort them out. You know me." he said with an evil grin in his face. |
Layla grined. "Well zat is very kind of you Monseir. I will in turn help out with anything you need proffessor. My training timetable is very varied now. I tend to have a lot of free periods. I am more zan willing to help" she said laying on the French accent thick. She looked at Jill and smiled. "Well Jill here is a highly intelligent student. But I know what you mean by ze others. It just means zat the people who don't show up are not going to pass zere exams. At least you know ze more dedicated students from the...what do you call zem...Slackers?" she asked. Some phrases Layla just hadn't got the hang of yet. |

Dean chuckled a little to the comment made by Layla. "Very true, Ms. Elzaria." then he gazed at Ms. Holtcombe's direction. He cleared his throat and said, "So, Ms. Holtcombe, how do you find DADA when you are still in your basics? What is your NEWT?" he asked bluntly. |
