After Ginny finishes her final year at Hogwarts, she's stunned to learn that Harry, who's been out of school a year, is engaged. Not wanting to return to the Burrow, which will be full of wedding planning and activity, Ginny escapes to Diagon Alley for a bit of independent living. The twins kindly take Ginny in and offer her a job, and she drags Neville and Luna along as flatmates. Who knows what will happen now that they are living independently?

This is a VERY loose storyline so far, but we want to have the chance to explore these characters as rising adults. I have all of the main characters filled at this point. If you are interested, go ahead and post your character idea. To be honest, I'd prefer HP characters (but not necesarily HRH) rather than made-ups... although a quality made-up is always welcome. If I don't feel your character will add to the story, I probably won't say yes. Also, we're quite serious about RPing, so if you aren't on at night EST, CST, or you will only post very sporadically, don't bother. This is advanced RPing, so YES, your posts need to be longer and more detailed and we DO care about your spelling and grammar.

"What?" Fred asked smiling big. He reached up took the ribbon and handed it to Hermione, "It'll look better on you anways." Fred squinted back to the garden, and said, "Accio glasses!" Harry's glasses were floating slowly towards the hill next..Fred couldn't help but laugh at the obvious confusion he was causing in the garden..

"I'll have you know that I have never owned a snake... As a pet, that is," he ammended, walking over to a chair and sitting down. "Cleaning, repairing, or both? I'm glad I don't have any equipment which requires such care. I can only imagine the damage students inflict on your instruments.

"She's a lovely owl," he said to Dani. "And what kind of pet did you want your mother to get for you?"

Ginny started when her long red hair suddenly swung into her face. "Harry!" she started to chastise him when she realized her blue hair ribbon was floating away and Harry didn't even have his wand out. "Who?... Follow that hair ribbon." Ginny shoved her hair out of her face and leapt to her feet, intent on finding whichever twin she could and beating him mercilessly.

"Both, I suppose. Dennis Creevey dropped it just before he left and I haven't had much time to repair it with my research. The lenses are alright, but the internal mechanisms have been grinding together. I suppose I could let Filch do it but..." She gestured to the lovely instrument as if to ask who could let a brute like that near such a thing.

Dani rose and came to sit next to Snape, bringing Pocus with her. "I want a phoenix," she added once Tara stopped speaking.

Harry tried to reach for his glasses as they left his face, but was too late in trying to catch them, and as he couldn't see, could not chase them down. "Ginny!" He said, "Come back here... I can't see! My glasses are gone..."

Hermione giggled, knowing Harry would look like an idiot walking about with no glasses on. When the glasses were in Fred's hands, she took them and slipped them over his ears, "And these look much better on you." She laughed at how ridiculous Fred looked with Harry's glasses on.

"Phoenixes are rather rare, I doubt you'd be able to obtain one. However, I'm sure you and your mother will be able to find a suitable pet," he replied to Dani.

Ginny's eyes widened as she realized she couldn't chase down her ribbon and leave Harry alone and unable to see. "Harry! Come and sit down," she urged, sitting on the garden bench and attempting to seat him next to her. He sat down right on her, and they both toppled off the bench. "Next to me, Potter. Not on me. You don't deserve it yet."

"Like what?" Dani's voice was a bit sullen, and Tara looked up from her cleaning and gave him a smirk that said clearly she was ready for his answer as well.

Snape wasn't prepared for that question and, as he wasn't particularly fond of pets, he had to think before answering. "Well, most witches and wizards have an owl as they are the most useful of pets, being able to carry messages. However, others have cats, mice, rats, toads... There are any number of animals if you go to the Magical Menagerie in Diagon Alley. Perhaps you saw some while you were there on your last visit?"

Dani half shut her eyes as she tried to think. "We didn't go into that store. We only went and bought our robes. But I think that I'd like..." Dani thought for a long moment. "Maybe I want a toad. I think I need to get some warts like a regular Witch." She nodded and stroked Pocus's wing. "Where are my robes?"

"What are you talking about, warts?" Snape asked, confused.

After she asked about her robes he said, "I believe your mother has your new robes." Then, he suddenly realized that he had never retrieved his items from Tara. He turned to her. "Do you still have my bag and book?" he asked.

"Darling, I've told you... real Witches don't have warts," Tara finished wiping her hands and crossed to her desk. A simple charm opened one of the bottom drawers, and Tara pulled out the papers and the false bottom. "Here's your book." She handed it to him and picked up the bag sitting beside the bed. "And here's your bag." With a smile, Tara set the finished telescope on her desk and sat next to Dani on the bed. "Were you able to find what you needed?" she asked, pointing to his bag from the clothing store.

"Yes," he replied, getting up, taking out the black robes he got for himself and draping them over the chair he had just vacated. Then, he took out the green robes he had requested for Dani and held them up for her. "Here you are, Dani."

"Harry is blind as a bat.."Fred said trying to walk around on the hill with his glasses on and his arms out. "I bet he's having a hard time right now without these.." Fred took a few more steps around before losing his balance and landing on his rear. He pushed the glasses on top of his head and looked over to Mione. "Why don't you give it a try. You're much better at spells and stuff than me anyways. See if you can get something of Tonks's. She won't know what to think..."Fred said, a wide grin spread across his face. Fred left his eyes on Mione, and admired how beautiful she looked with the blue ribbon holding her curls back...

Harry blushed and stood up, brushing himself off. "Sorry about that... didn't mean to..." He squinted and manged to sit back down on the bench

Hermione bit her lip, thinking about what to take of Tonks's. She giggled, deciding on what to do. "Accio shoes," She said, concentrating on Tonks's shoes which she had seen earlier. To her pleasure, seconds later, Tonks's shoes were floating up towards the two sitting on the hill. "How's that?" She asked Fred with a grin.

Tonks sat at the table and watched the fireplace. Sinistra left, Dumbledore arrived, and Snape elft. Dumbledore must ahve take the body away by another route. Tonks extended her legs and rested them on the chair opposite her, thinking about what she had seen. Surely she couldn't have been right when she had mentioned Snape and Sinistra to Ginny... Deep in thought, it took her a moment to realize that her shoes were coming off her feet and by the time she had put her legs down to grab onto them, her shoes were floating through the window. Laughing at her plight, Tonks managed to climb out the window after them. By the time she had climbed up the drain pipe, which was a lot easier than it sounds after the training she had gone through, Hermione had the shoes in her hands while she and Fred laughed. "Very funny," Tonks said, trying to sound indignant, but unable to hold a straight face.

Guin looked at George as they exited Dumbledores room. "I...You can stay here, I know how much you wanted to do something for the order George." She said when she reached the other side of the door and looked at George. "I'll be safe, Dumbledore even said so." She added with a feeble smile.

Dani squealed and leapt to her feet, swinging the robes around gingerly to show her mother. "Mum... look! My robes." She looked at them in such rapt awe that Tara didn't have the heart to argue with Snape over buying them for her.

Tara looked at Snape in surprise. "You bought her the robes? You didn't have to..." She trailed off helplessly. "I'll pay you back...?"

Ginny scrambled back onto the bench. "It's alright, Harry," she noted the tinge on his cheeks and felt bad for embarrassing him. "I thought maybe you wanted to try to seduce me." Ginny curled her hand in his and put her head on his shoulder. "That might be alright too. We need to find your glasses, though."

George grabbed Guin's hand. "Guin, I'm going with you. I want to make sure you get there safely and I want to make sure you get settled well. And I want to know where you are because I plan on visiting you all the time." He pulled her to his side and stroked her cheek with his thumb. "I thought we had something here."

Snape was already removing the dark blue robes with the stars Dani had picked out for her mother when Tara insisted on paying him back. "That is not necessary," he said, holding the robes out to her.

Tara stood open-mouthed as Snape placed the lovely dark blue robes in her hands. The feel of the silky material drew her attention downwards before she looked at him in shock again. "I... you... you bought robes for me? Why?"

Guin smiled and kissed him gently on his lips,"Of course we do." She said in an almost whisper like voice. "Then alright, you'll bring me and see that I'll be fine and that I won't be in harm." She added trying to be serious but failed miserably. Guin did want him to go badly but she also had reservations with him going, it would definitely slow her down a bit. Hopefully when she was busy at work he would be busy also with the order so that she would be able to work. Of course Guin liked him, alot, but she had a job to tend to also. Maybe this had been the reason Guin hadn't kept a relationship working....she only hoped this one didn't end like the others.

"Okay then," George grinned at her and stepped away, still holding her hand. "Now, do you need to go back to the house? Because we could head straight from here if you have clothes and stuff in Egypt." He pulled her back towards the Staff Room, wondering if he'd have time to visit her as often as he wanted. It wasn't fair to her, but his priority was going to be this war.

"I'm impressed..."Fred said to Hermione reaching out for the shoes. "I'd love to see the look on Tonks's....." But no sooner as he had gotten the words out, Tonks was there--barefoot and all. "Hi Tonks! You really shouldn't be outside with no shoes on. You'll catch a cold! And you were sent to watch out for us..."Fred said throwing up his arms and rolling his eyes playfully.
