After Ginny finishes her final year at Hogwarts, she's stunned to learn that Harry, who's been out of school a year, is engaged. Not wanting to return to the Burrow, which will be full of wedding planning and activity, Ginny escapes to Diagon Alley for a bit of independent living. The twins kindly take Ginny in and offer her a job, and she drags Neville and Luna along as flatmates. Who knows what will happen now that they are living independently?

This is a VERY loose storyline so far, but we want to have the chance to explore these characters as rising adults. I have all of the main characters filled at this point. If you are interested, go ahead and post your character idea. To be honest, I'd prefer HP characters (but not necesarily HRH) rather than made-ups... although a quality made-up is always welcome. If I don't feel your character will add to the story, I probably won't say yes. Also, we're quite serious about RPing, so if you aren't on at night EST, CST, or you will only post very sporadically, don't bother. This is advanced RPing, so YES, your posts need to be longer and more detailed and we DO care about your spelling and grammar.

Ginny wondered if she was totally confused. She leaned against the counter and felt tired, even though she'd had more than enough sleep last night. "If you didn't want to talk to me, what were you doing in my room this morning? Guin said that you..." She cast a look at Guin's retreating back and turned back to Harry. "You didn't come in to talk to me?" she asked simply.

George watched Guin and Fred disappear into the other room together and he knew how useless the scheme was. There was no way that the two of them would work anything out when they were speaking under false pretences. Still, when Hermione opened her mouth to let everyone know that the twins were switched, George picked her up and carried her out the backdoor.

Hermione let out a quiet scream when George picked her up. "What are you doing?!?" She wriggled between his arms, but he was holding on too tight. They got outside and Hermione asked as calmly as she could, "Can you please put me down?"

Fred blinked down at Guin as tears threatened to fall down her cheeks. He was going to kill George for this...he hadn't expected this to be so serious. She reallly did like George.

"Look...don't cry Guin..."Fred said pulling her into an awkward hug. "Geo...I didn't mean to run away last night..I ..um....had an emergency. I shouldn't of had that chili yesterday, if you know what I mean. Speaking of which...Stay right here, Guin. Don't move a muscle.."Fred guided her slowly to an arm chair. "I'll be right back. I promise..."

Fred backed away from her slowly, afraid she would explode on him like she had before, and backed into the kitchen. Fred had his sweater off in seconds flat, and stood in the kitchen with his bare chest showing. Ron was the only there. So, he calmly stalked out the back doors.

Whispering frantically he said, "I'm going to kill you George. Change shirts with me right now!" Fred then looked at his prize he was carrying around. "What is going on here?" Fred asked...Maybe he had found out who Hermione "had her eyes on" sooner than he had thought...Fred threw George's sweater on the ground and crossed his arms, feeling kind of cold from having no shirt on and being outside..

Harry panicked for a second, thinking about how it would sound if he told Ginny he had been in her room to talk to Guin. But, he realized Ginny probably wouldn't care. Or at least he hoped. "Well, no... I was talking to Guin. She was kind of distraught.

By the time Tonks got back, had removed Alicia's old robes, cleaned her up, and dressed her in the new clothes she had just gotten, Snape was back with the potion. She stood back and let him smooth the potion over the bruises on Alicia's face and watched as she transformed from the battered, dead, witch to a sleeping porcelin doll. Tears began to form in Tonks' eyes at the thought of her parents but, she wiped them away and looked over at Severus. "I think that's everything. We just have to wait for Dumbledore now," she said.

George was about to put Hermione down and explain things to her when Fred burst out the door. That was no good. If Fred was out here, then he wasn't with Guin. "Hermione and I are just playing a little game," George answered as he hefted the girl higher on his shoulder. "You move fast... shirtless already? What's the problem?"

Ginny grumbled under her breath and went off to find breakfast. Why did people persist in making her get up early for no good reason?

"We are not playing a game!" Hermione yelled, kicking and punching and wriggling around, though slightly distracted as she noticed Fred didn't have any shirt on. She didn't want him to think anything of George and her. "Will you put me down?!?"

Tonks walked back down the stairs with Severus to wait for Dumbledore in the kitchen. They were going to make some tea. Tonks smiled brightly as she saw Harry, Ron, and Ginny and waved at them while Mr. Grumpy Pants sat down at the table and began summoning biscuits, cups, and other necessary items for tea to him. She sighed at him before turning back to the three younger people. "Good morning," she greeted them.

"There is no problem.."Fred said walking quickly over to George and Hermione. Fred grabbed Hermione around her waist and hoisted her off of George's shoulders. He put her behind him, and started towards George again. "George...I'm not playing around. You give me your shirt right now, or I am going to come take it from you. Guin is not my problem..she's yours and she really, really likes you. " Fred dove forward and grabbed ahold of the collar of George's shirt collar and started jerking.

"She doesn't like me. She's confused," George answered as he backed away from Fred, but he was strangely warmed by the idea that Guin liked him. That idea flew out the window as Fred started tugging on his shirt. "Get your own shirt, git," George answered in a muffled tone as Fred managed to get his shirt up to his armpits before it ripped. With a growl, George took Fred to the ground and they rolled a few feet.

Guin had been seated after George had hugged her. He left last night because he needed to use the washroom? Guin got up and went to find George, what was up with him? She made her way to the kitchen and heard voices arguing outside, opening the door she saw George and Fred rolling around the ground. "What the....?!" Guin exclaimed as she saw them.

Fred was ready for George, but he wasn't expecting him to tackle him to the ground. Fred felt the air be knocked out of his lungs on impact, but didn't falter long. He rolled over on top of George, just to be thrown off again. George and Fred fights always went on for long periods of time because they both were so evenly matched.

But the figting yielded at the sound of a new voice. Fred had a George by the head, and George was puching Fred in the stomach when they both looked up to see Guin staring down at them.

"Um....George here has something to tell you, Guin.."Fred said pulling on George's head.

Harry smiled and said a friendly "hello" to Tonks. He wondered what Snape was doing here, but thought it was better not to ask.

Ron didn't say anything to Tonks, but instead watched Snape, who sat down at the table. Ron started making faces at Snape and when he looked toward him, Ron smiled and waved.

George looked up and saw Guin standing over them, her face blotchy from tears and confused. He wanted so much to hold her that he managed to scrabble out of Fred's hold and to his feet, but stopped just short of actually taking her in his arms. "I..." He looked at Fred and then back at Guin, admitting defeat. He'd have to tell her the truth. "You were talking to Fred earlier. I didn't know what you wanted to speak with me about, and he was wearing my sweater... its a trick we pull on the family all the time, and I really didn't..." He shrugged and took her by the elbow, leading her back to the house. "I would love to talk to you know, if you still want to."

Snape sat down at the table and summoned everything he needed for tea. The last thing he wanted to do was interact with the two Gryffindor boys. When he looked up, Weasley was smiling and waving at him. Snape sneered at him beofre addressing Tonks, "Are you going to be all day sending that message to Dumbledore?"

Tonks sighed. "No, Severus, but you'll have to give me a moment," she said, exasperatedly; she really disliked having to work with Snape.

She winked at Harry and Ron before walking over to the fireplace and threw in some floo powder. She extracted a roll of parchment from within her robes, scribbled a quick message and flooed it to Dumbledore's office. "There, Severus, it's done," she said.

"Would you three care for some tea?" she offered before sitting down.

Hermione watched the Weasley twins in a mix of surprise and confusion. They were both shirtless and fighting over a... sweater? As Guina and George walked towards the house, Hermione walked over to the the shirtless Fred. "Just so you know... george picked me up, I promise... it was nothing... you know.... What was that about? The fighting, I mean..."

Ginny finally turned from the counter where she'd been thinking distractedly about going back to bed. "I need tea desparately," she plunked down next to Snape without really looking at him and offered a weak smile. "Someone was in my room talking this morning," she wrinkled her nose at Harry, but there was no malice in it.

Fred just laid on the grass, looking up at Hermione's face over his. He sighed and put his arms behind his head, totally forgetting about not having a shirt on. "I..don't really know George's problem is. He keeps trying to push me off on Guin, when it's more than obvious that I like....someone else. He and Guin were kissing last night or something, and she was upset about him leaving. He's being ridiculous!!"Fred saying the last sentence louder than the others to ensure George heard. "You're alright though? George is a git, and I'm sorry for his gittness."

Snape wrinkled his nose in disgust. Why couldn't he back at Hogwarts, settling down to a nice cup of tea with Tara? Why was he stuck here, in this house, with these giggling students? While it was true they were technically no longer students, they certainly acted like them. He conjured an extra cup, just the same, and poured some tea for the girl.

Tonks giggled at the look of pure loathing and disgust on Snape's face. "Come on now, Severus, you're a spy, you should at least be able to pretend to be happy to be here," she laughed and received one of his famous sneers in response.

Guin stared at George as she was dragged off. He told Fred to pose as him? Guin and George were in the room where was had been talking to Fred in and Guin turned to face him. "Was I that bad of a kisser for you to do that? To..to not want to talk to me?!" Guin asked as she stared at him through blurry eyes.

Hermione kneeled down beside Fred. "Yes, I'm fine... he didn't hurt me," She said to him. "You like... someone else, huh?" She asked, watching the expression on his face.

George stared at Guin in total disbelief. "Are you kidding? Were you there for that kiss?" He blushed and ran his hand through his hair. "You pulled away from me. You said... I thought..." He gave a great sigh and gave her a severe look. "This isn't right. I feel like I'm having this conversation with my brother's girlfriend."

Ginny reached over and gave Professor Snape's hand a pat before she dragged the milk back to add to her tea. "It's alright, Professor. I'm not really that excited to see you either. It reminds me of the dungeons. Plus your scowling is really unfriendly."

Fred felt his face turn about three shades darker red. He wanted to tell her, but he just couldn't yet. Fred had to find who mystery boy was first, and just keep Hermione close to him until then. He turned over on his stomach so he didn't have to look at her face, "Yeah....I do. And it sure isn't Guin like George would like it to be. She's crazy..."Fred said picking at the grass.

Tonks spit her tea out all over Snape and nearly dropped her cup at Ginny's comment. "Oh dear, I'm so sorry, Severus," she stammered in between fits of giggles.

Snape's normally pale face was tinged pink with anger at both the Weasley girl's comment Tonks' antics. She was an auror for Merlin's sake, you'd think she'd act a little more maturely. "Excuse me," he said, wiping his face and getting up to leave the room.

"I hope I can get Tara alone sometime today," he muttered under his breath as he left with his cup of tea.

Guin blushed remembering the kiss and then looked up when George said she was Freds girlfriend. "What?! I am NOT Fred's girlfriend!" She exclaimed voice raised. "I don't even like him George! I like....you..." Guin added looking down again. "I pushed you away last night because I was scared and confused...But I do NOT like your brother!" She demanded with a somewhat mad face at the thought he could even think that. "I kissed you not him George."
