After Ginny finishes her final year at Hogwarts, she's stunned to learn that Harry, who's been out of school a year, is engaged. Not wanting to return to the Burrow, which will be full of wedding planning and activity, Ginny escapes to Diagon Alley for a bit of independent living. The twins kindly take Ginny in and offer her a job, and she drags Neville and Luna along as flatmates. Who knows what will happen now that they are living independently?

This is a VERY loose storyline so far, but we want to have the chance to explore these characters as rising adults. I have all of the main characters filled at this point. If you are interested, go ahead and post your character idea. To be honest, I'd prefer HP characters (but not necesarily HRH) rather than made-ups... although a quality made-up is always welcome. If I don't feel your character will add to the story, I probably won't say yes. Also, we're quite serious about RPing, so if you aren't on at night EST, CST, or you will only post very sporadically, don't bother. This is advanced RPing, so YES, your posts need to be longer and more detailed and we DO care about your spelling and grammar.

Ginny found comfort in the fact that Harry seemed to feel the same way she did... like he would go crazy being around her but that being with her was the only thing that kept him sane. Ginny pressed into him, deepening the kiss and reaching up to tangle her fingers in the short hair around his neck.

George put out his hand as if for help, but pulled Guin down so she was on the floor too. "It is comfortable. You should try it. You know, you are a menace, woman! If I were a cheerleader, I wouldn't let you come to the match. You might leave stray bits of furniture around, and not all my fellow cheerleaders would be as graceful as I was in my strategic falling."

Instead of taking her hand to help get up Guin was suddenly pulled down to the floor beside George. With a shriek she came down and flopped right down almost on top of him. "I'm the menace?!" She yelled with laughter as she hit him not to softly in his stomach. Guin laughed again at seeing the expression on his face.

"You're calling me a menace?" George put on a mock-innocent face and looked offended. "I just fell over a chair and may have seriously bruised my tail bone." He pointed to his rear end. "You're lucky I don't demand you check it for injury, but I'm a gentleman, and I'll take my sore rear elsewhere." He winked at her and sat up, pulling her into a sitting position next to him.

Harry continued enjoying the kiss with Ginny until he felt like someone was watching them. He pulled away and looked around. No one was there, but he still felt like there was no privacy here, even though it was one of the most well-hidden hideouts in the wizarding world. "I feel so... strange here..."

Guin laughed again at Georges comment,"Oh I'm sorry! It poor wittle George ok?!" She teased with a laugh as he helped sit her up. Still laughing she looked at him. "Well,I never thought I'd actually be laughing with you now. How things change." She stated trying to get up off the floor but because she was laughing still she seemed to be failing. "Look what you've done!" Guin exclaimed poking George and going into a whole new fit of laughter.

Ginny was glad that Harry had broken their kiss or she may have been tempted to do something she'd regret later. Instead, she took his hand and led him to the stoop, where she sat. "Why? Because we're in the middle of a Dark Garden in a Dark house, or because we're surrounded by family and friends, or maybe because your ex-fiancee is probably sitting in the kitchen?"

George laughed as well as Guin struggled to get to her feet. "Let me help you," he laughed, using the chair to get up. His left shoulder still burned, especially since he'd been so foolish as to put weight on it. Must not be out of the socket, he mused as he finally rose and offered his arms to Guin. She grabbed his left arm too hard, and George gasped and nearly dropped her, overcompensating by pulling her too hard right into himself.

When George helped her up she heard him gasp and was pulled up right to him. Guin was so close to him she could feel George's breathing. "Are you alright?" She asked in a small quiet voice as she stood there so closely. Guin began to feel that weird little feeling in the pit of her stomach again, she didn't know what to do. She couldn't seem to even move as she looked at his eyes.

"I think maybe it's a mix of them all," Harry said. "The last one probably being the biggest. I can't wait until we're out of here." He sat next to Ginny and put his head in his hands.

When George could pay attention to something other than his arm again, he found he was staring right into Guin's eyes. She was so close he could feel her soft breathes on his neck. "I'm fine. I hurt my arm..." He didn't finish the thought, his eyes memorizing the curves of her face, the color of her eyes up close, the way her mouth wrinkled in the corner just so... His head moved of its own accord towards hers, and he stopped only inches from her lips. The inner debate was going on, and he closed his eyes and willed her to move away, because he couldn't bring himself to do it.

Ginny leaned against Harry's shoulder, staring at the now-darkening sky. "Just remember, Potter... I leave when you leave. We're in this together now, so don't get any brave notions that involve leaving this Gryffindor girl behind."

George kept getting closer...Guin still couldn't move as their lips almost touched. What was she doing? What was happening? Guin wanted to scream to stop herself and to make George fall or something but she had lost her voice, she couldn't speak. She managed a squeak just before their lips touched...It was soft, and her stomach was jumping all about...

But then her brain turned into gear and Guin jumped back as she stared at George, "I...you wouldn't move!" She exclaimed trying to make sense out of what just happened.

George stared at Guin for several moments. "I... you... I'm sorry," his voice faltered and he stepped even farther away from her, but being as far apart as the kitchen was wide wouldn't be enough. He still wanted to go and grab her and kiss her again. There must be something wrong with him. George shook his head. "I'm sorry," he repeated and he turned and nearly ran from the kitchen. He took the stairs fast and slammed into his room that he shared with Fred. He wished his twin was awake, but he didn't know how he'd talk to him about this.

"Sometimes you run, Harry," Ginny responded softly. "Even from me. If you hide in this house from me, maybe you'd hide in the world from me." She snuggled into his side, feeling comforted by his words despite her own.

Fred, slept peacefully for the most part. He was able to wake himself up whenever his dreams or mind would wonder off to Alicia or the DE meeting. Being just barely asleep, he heard George come in making no effort to be quiet. He opened one eye to look at him. "Do I want to know you're slamming stuff around for, or should I just pretend to be asleep?"Fred said in a calm, monotone voice.

George eyed his twin, feeling a bit guilty that he had woken him, but also glad that he was no longer alone. He probably would have just gone and shaken him awake anyway, but this way was better. Sitting on the edge of Fred's bed, George shook his head. "It wouldn't do any good to pretend you were asleep, because I'm in the mood for you to be awake. I just..." George couldn't lie to his twin and best friend. "I was just kissing your future wife. It was nothing. It was an accident."

Fred sat and stared at George with is one eye. George had lost it..the trauma from earlier had gotten to him and he just needed to lay down like Fred was. "George, you're nuttier than I give you credit for. No woman, or man, or anything for that matter, will ever marry either of us. We should just go ahead and marry each other because it's going to be you and me for the rest of eternity. I would say you should wear the dress, but I have to say that my legs are sexier than yours." Fred kicked his covers off and pulled his pants legs up showing George some skin.

"Who were you kissing by the way?"Fred asked curiosly.

George moved from Fred's bed swiftly, landing face down on his own bed. His voice was muffled by the pillow as he answered, "Guin." He turned his face so that he could stare back at his baffled twin. "Lay off it, Fred. You know she's a hundred times prettier than I am. You're perfect for each other, and that's that. Nothing can stand in the way of true love... not even stubborness." He pressed his face back into his pillow and treid not to remember the way her mouth had felt on his.

Taking Dumbledore's advice, Draco packed the few things he had in preparation for returning to the Manor. He felt a sense of urgency that he never felt before and he hastened himself. Before he disapparated off the school grounds, he left a note for Dani.

It was odd how he could be so attached to such a young child. He never thought himself as someone who would like young children, and he usually didn't, but he saw some of himself in her. In fact, he saw a lot of himself in her.

The curiosity... the early manifestation of the magical gifts... even the smart mouth.

And then the oppression and abuse...

He had grown up almost completely alone, his mother restrained by his father in her show of affection and his father only showing emotion when he had misbehaved. He shuddered at the memory of the whippings and shoutings. The result of such abuse had made him withdrawn and suspicious of people and in dire need of acceptance. It had made him a puppet at the mercy of his father's whims because he had idolized his father as a young boy. Not getting his approval had always been a blow to his fragile ego and he had made up for it by puffing out his chest and being a prat.

Dani... now Dani had a chance to completely bypass what he had endured. She could still flourish and grow with her ego intact and curiosity unsuppressed. She just needed to know that SHE was okay and that questions were okay and that she was indeed wanted.

And this was why he felt compelled to leave her a note explaining that he would be absent from the school for a while as he took care of business and that she should take care of herself and behave and explore and learn.

After he signed the note, he realized just exactly WHY he had written her that note. He didn't want her thinking he had abandoned her, like his parents had abandoned him for their social lives.

"You'll be just fine." He heard himself saying aloud as he slipped the note under Dumbledore's door. He knew Dumbledore would see to it that Dani got the note.

With a sigh of resignation, he steeled his mind and headed out the doors and apparated to the Manor as soon as he reached the edge of the school grounds...

George had apoligized and had left...Guin just pulled back and stood while her back pressed against the wall. What just happened?! Guin yelled at her self as she put her hands to her face. "Stupid,stupid Guin!" She whispered as she smacked her self in the head. She began slipping down the wall and was now crouched down sitting up against the wall on the floor with her knees up against her. Guin clinged onto her knees as she tried to replay what had just happened. "We...he...I..." Guin was so confused as she sat there and put her face to her knees.

Guin's tummy kept doing summersaults and she thought she was about to throw up but it really wasn't that..."Merlins beard!" Guin exclaimed as she jumped up, "I...I can't!" She looked shocked at herself. The day had just turned into an event and new discover Guin never knew could ever happen. "His kiss...was sweet..." Guin sighed and sat back down on the floor, she didn't wanna bump into George now until she knew what her mind, body and soul were truely trying to tell her.

"Well, George....I have to say I'm a little disappointed in you,"Fred said sitting up and swinging his legs off the bed. "First, it doesn't count as kissing someone when you have to hold them down or tie them up. And I know high and mighty Guin wouldn't let you within ten yards of her pretty lips on her own accord, so you must of roughed up her...not nice, George. And secondly, if she's my wife why are your lips on her?"Fred said chucking one of the pillows off his bed at George's head. George was wrong, but Fred wasn't going to argue about it...Guin was not the girl for him...someone else was..

"I wouldn't," Harry told Ginny firmly. Having her believe that he would leave her behind kind of hurt Harry and made him regret some of the things he had done that might have made her believe that.

Hermione left Fred's room with a feeling of what just happened was all a dream and she was walking back into consciousness. She kept thinking about how warm his skin felt on her lips and how nice it was just laying there talking with Fred.

Now she had decided to go to her room and tidy up her things. There wasn't much to do in the house.... She walked into her room and found it very hard to clean up... her mind was wandering elsewhere... back to Fred's bedroom about a half an hour ago... and there wasn't much to clean up, anyway. The girls kept their room extremely neat.

Hermione was bored so she decided to go find someone to talk to. She wandered downstairs and walked into the kitchen, surprised to find Guin sitting on the floor looking troubled. She walked over "What's wrong, Guin?" She asked her, kneeling down beside her.
