Samantha caught up with J.J. in the waiting room. "I'm glad you're already here," she told him. "Someone should be along who can help us shortly. You can help me tell the story of what is going on, since you know so much more about this matter than I do. But I'm definitely here for support, to back up what you are saying." She smiled nervously. Coming to this department was getting to be too much of a habit lately.

Nicoli smiled and nodded at Amelia's light hearted words. He could sense that she was slightly afraid, but that would be normal. She would do a good job. He hoped.

He turned back to look at Nicoli. “What joyous task have you got for me then, mate?” he asked with a smile, noting the smirk gracing Nicoli’s lips. Whatever it was, Nathan was sure it wasn’t particularly funny.

Nicoli gave Nathan a little apologetic smile, "Sorry to have to do this, Nathan...but-" Nicoli opened the drawer containing Flooing bag and plopped it on the table. It did pain him to bring out the ghosts again, but he had no choice in the matter. "The faster we can rap this up...the longer we'll all stay sane."

Nathan made a face as Nicoli removed Floyd’s knapsack from his draw. “Lucky me.” He said sarcastically. He took a breath, readying himself for this. He knew it was going to be tough, but as an Officer of the Law, Nathan was going to have to get used to such things… even if he didn’t particulaly want to. “Where do we start?” he asked Nicoli.

He looked over at the woman from Education as she entered the office with another gentleman in tow. Maybe the Flooing evidence could wait for a bit - hopefully. It seemed the Education Department were having a bad time of it at the moment.

J. J. Starr tells Mrs Rose "Would you plase tell him about these problems arond Hogwarts?

"Well, I can start this discussion but I think you should probably finish it, as you were the one who originally brought all these matters to me," Samantha said, looking over at J.J. "I am only going based on what you've been telling me has been happening." Samantha took a breath and began speaking about what she had been hearing. "It appears there have been several students at Hogwarts who have recently had members of their family murdered, or who have been threatened with murder themselves. James Lupet, a Ravenclaw student there, has had both his parents murdered and is now apparently in danger himself. Rosalina's parents have been murdered, she is apparently also under threat. Camira Yaxley's mother has been killed and Delilah Longbottom's parents and brother have been murdered, as well. J.J., am I correct that you believe all these murders are being committed by one person, a Death Eater by the name of Claxton?"

Sanantha. you forgot that Bruce. Brandons' twin brother helped killed him. him" Jason reminded her.

"Yes, apparently this Bruce person who is a twin brother of Delilah's is also involved with this Claxton character," Samantha said. "Thank you, J.J., for reminding me of that."

Nathan couldn’t help listening in as Miss Rose relayed her story to Nicoli. Family members of children at Hogwarts had been murdered? What!? This was terrible! His little sister and sister-in-law to be both attended the school. Hogwart’s really didn’t seem like the safest place to send your child given recent events. He coughed at the mention of death eaters. In his naivety, Nathan thought that they were a thing of the past - gone but not forgotten. He looked at Nicoli trying his best to keep his face as expressionless as possible. Maybe it was just a dark wizard... just? hah! Nevertheless, that would be a job for experienced Aurors, Nate would have thought - not the humble MLES. One could hope anyway.

Nicoli's eyes brightened slightly despite the horror that awaited them. Nathan was indeed a character. At least, it seemed that he felt comfortable enough to give him sarcasm. Perhaps he'd finally met that point with him at least.

Nicoli stared intently into Miss.Rose's eyes. What a case! This one would definitely involve the Aurors, for the capture at least. For now, all information that they could possibly get would be needed.

"Claxton and Bruce is it?" Nicoli said quietly. "Are there any obvious reasons for their targeting?" he asked J.J who seemed to know about the incident's first hand. Yet more cases of death at Hogwarts of all places. The symbol of youth and innocence. Mostly.

"Would it be possible to contact the victims to attend a questioning? I believe that the Hogwarts term hasn't yet begun." Nicoli placed his finger-tips on the desk he was standing next to, "Has the Headmistress been informed of this? Forrester and I may have to question her as well..." Oh what a barrel of laughs it shall be when they have to shut their new acquaintance out of a event she most surely would like to attend.

Nicoli's head snapped up, "How were the death threats sent?" This too would be a necessary topic. If they were sent by owl, then the posts will have to be watched wouldn't they? That would involve a little inter-departmental work as well.

In just under a minute, the atmosphere had gone from sarcastic humor to that of a funeral. If only someone would scream an inappropriate phrase to cut the tension. But they were all adults here. None of that would be happening any time soon. It was a bad time for Hogwarts.

J. J. Starr told Nicoli " There were owls send to the victims about their murdered parents"

"I see," Nicoli replied thoughtfully. "We may have to monitor any mail these students receive from now on." It would be a violation of privacy but it was completely necessary in this case, at least to trace the culprit. Who was either Claxton or Bruce. "Thank you for the detailed information, I dare say it will come in handy with the investigation," Nicoli nodded to Miss Rose and J.J. "I'll be grateful if you kept me or Forrester updated with this information. In fact..." Nicoli glanced at Nathan who had been quiet all this time, "Could you get Forrester, Nathan? This will involve both departments extensively."

Nathan’s usually laid back demeanour was becoming more and more tense as the conversation between Nicoli, Miss Rose and JJ went on. So many murders. Why, oh why had nobody brought this to the attention of the MLES until now? Surely with the help of the Aurors, some of these deaths could have been prevented.

He glanced briefly at Flooing’s knapsack still sitting on Nicoli’s desk – that case seemed to be a stroll in the park compared to what was unfurling in front of him.

He stomach lunged at little when Nicoli said his name, wondering what was coming next. He inwardly breathed a sigh of relief when it was only to get Forrester. Nathan’s abilities were really being put to the test today – a couple of interesting, albeit very different assignments, secretarial work taking shorthand notes… and now? - being used as an owl. Nathan really felt like an indispensable member of the team… not.

“Sure thing” he nodded and stood up, making his way out of the office towards the Auror headquarters. He was actually quite pleased to get out of there.

It looked like he wasn't going to be going through Flooing's evidence anytime soon. Remembering the evidence lying on his desk, Nicoli quickly shoved it back in a drawer and locked it magically. Wonder why Nathan isn't saying much? It seemed like his opinion had been sucked out of him from the day. Nicoli'd have to ask him straight out about it. If anything, his opinions and ideas would be needed on this mission. He was starting to forget what it was he had to do.

Forrester walked back into the MLES office. "Nicoli you wanted to see me... Make it quick... I have a lot of cases... Nothing important beside the wedding and the billywig problem... So?" Forrester asked as he looked at Nicoli and then he noticed the head department of Education Miss. Rose and someone from the magical games and sports.

Nathan followed Forrester back into the MLES office and went back to his desk in the dark corner. He noted the way Forrester addressed Nicoli - the man seemed a little curt. Nathan was sure there was no need for that. He sat down and sank low in his seat - maybe they would both just forget he was there if he remained inconspicuous.

Nicoli's brow twitched slightly at Forrester's tone, what a way to make an entrance. "Well, I've got something important for you," he said somewhat flatly. "Apparently, the murder threat cases have now become much more serious, with several more Hogwarts students with murdered parent's and a lead this time. A death-eater called Claxton seems to be behind most of these attacks and he has an accomplice by the name of Bruce...Anything I left out?" Nicoli asked J.J.

Out of the corner of his eye he could see Nathan's dejected form. Maybe later he'll get him out of that mood. The badge might help. Too bad he wasn't all that enthusiastic.

" We can leave now but I hope they will keep us informed of the situation Miss Rose." Joe Jon Momtcenaggio told her.

"I'm sure they will," Samantha said. "Don't worry, I know they'll get back to us when they have some news." She smiled comfortingly.

Flipping through her paperwork, Liz walks into the law enforcement squad office. Looking around, unsure who to speak to in finding out about this werewolf, and information on his arrest by muggles.

A silvery patronus, a lioness, bounded into the room. It stopped and eyed the room. A frightened female voice sounded from the figure. "Help! We're on Level Four! House-elves are rebelling! Hurry!" After the message was over, the transparent lioness bolted from the office.

Nicoli swore. He knew the vandalism incident wasn't to be trifled with. "I apologize," he said to the visitor, "I hope you will allow me to attend to Level Four before we begin. Nathan, come on!" Nicoli said rising quickly and making his way to the door.

Liz sat down, in front of the gentleman who gestured toward the seat.

"Hello, I'm Liz from the Werewolf Registry. I was told you might be able to help us in our case on Hermann Kern."

"Here is what we know of right now. He was arrested by the ummm Muggle Puleese men..." looking down at her notes, "oops I mean Muggle Police men. He had been terrorizing some muggle children, and stole one of their lunches. He was held over night, and released."

"We are hoping you have a copy of the report, or can get a copy for us. We are not sure if he is dangerous or not, but we are trying to get him to come in, and are looking for all information we can find on him. He has not yet registered, and we are getting concerned."
