Nicoli entered the MLES office again and smiled at the woman who had waited on him. Nathan wasn't here yet, no doubt scrubbing of the mud caked on his face and body. He sat down opposite the woman and smiled despite what had occurred with the house-elves.

"Pleased to meet you. I am Nicoli Vanhatck, Division Head of the MLES," he said concentrating on having his head remain in the office. "I see," he said quietly, "Did anyone witness a transformation of Hermann Kern?" He placed a quick-quotes quill on the desk beside him, the memories in his head sufficient enough for a complete report from the very beginning. "We do not have muggle police reports with us, however it will be obtainable."

A couple of hours later, Nathan sauntered casually back into the MLES office, feeling rather relaxed after apparating home to have a quick shower and a loong rest with a nice cup of tea. A change of clothes later, for some reason he decided to come back here. Maybe it was to avoid a bawling Paris - work was better than that at the moment thank you very much.

Although he felt better for the rest and change of clothes, the fatigue of the day he was having was really starting to catch up with him… running around the entire Ministry of Magic after pesky child snatching house elves made it clear to Nathan that he was going to have to get himself into better condition.

“Alright, mate.” He said to Nicoli with a nod. He smiled at the young lady Nicoli was busy talking to. Not wanting to interrupt, he went to sit at his desk. He still felt like he had mud in all his crevices. He dug around in his ear with his finger, trying to get some mud out of there – his hearing had become all muffled. He removed his finger, examined it, pulled a disgusted face before wiping it on his jeans. He propped his feet up on his desk and sat back in his seat - maybe he could have a kip while Nicoli dealt with the young woman.

Looking down at her notes again, she says "the children saw the transformation, it occurred in the middle of the day. The muggle police, believed that they had imagined it, or were making up stories."

"All the muggles minds were later obliviated, so none of them would be able to give us any information now. But we are hoping they still have a report on this case in the least."

Nicoli blinked. "Forgive me, in the middle of the day?" he asked completely lost to what sort of transformation she had been thinking of. "Well, then I suppose it doesn't matter, then," he said smiling at her. "So we'll be searching for the file itself and anything else we can get our hands on? Of course without muggle notice," he added thoughtfully. He hadn't undergone a mission of that nature yet.

"If you are able to get the information we would really appreciate it. I'm up on the 4th floor in the Werewolf Registry office. Either send me a note and I'll come and pick it up. Otherwise you are welcome to bring it up."

Jude Thomas stomped into the Law Enforcement Office, looking for an available employee. He still had his nephew's letter in his hand. He did not seem urgent but he did not want to be kept waiting.

Alexa sauntered into the MLES office casually. She looked around and saw Nathan. Smiling at him, she walked over to his Department head.
"Nicoli? Forrester wanted me to give you this" She handed over the peice of paper and returned to her HQ.

Nathan who was almost asleep at the other side of the office, but became suddenly aware of another presence in the room. He opened one eye and saw a man waiting to talk to someone. He opened the other eye and planted his feet squarely back on the floor – thinking he better assist as best he could while Nicoli was tied up with the woman from Magical Creatures. “Can I help you, mate?” he asked beckoning the man over and gesturing for him to sit in the vacant seat on the other side of his desk.

Jude was becoming a bit impatient when he heard a helping voice from the back of the department floor. Too bad that voice sounded sleepy and groggy. Sleeping on the job, I see. The wizard walked over to the man and took the seat he gestured to.

"Hello, my name's Jude Thomas, I am from Level Seven, Department of Magical Games and Sport," Jude stuck out his hand to shake the mans hand. "I have just received a letter from my nephew at Hogwarts -- I mean, Cooper's School of Magic ... and well ... I did not agree for him to go to a school like that. The way he describes it is preposterous! It would seem they have split the girls and boys in two separate schools and the regulations seem very ... well ... too regulated. I was wondering if any of you could assist me and speaking with the one who organized this."

"Sure," Nicoli said jotting down the few more things on the piece of parchment with the help of the quick notes quill. He nodded slightly, before jotting down a small note: MLES/Hits Wizards. He really needed to get to work on these jobs. Really.

Out of the corner of his eye, Nicoli noticed another worried looking gent walk into the office. With some satisfaction, he noted Nathan's beckoning call to the man, ready to see how he would handle such a job. Nicoli was ready to send Nathan out as leader on their next mission after all, he just needed to see him at work a little more-with words, not actions.

Nicoli's eyes snapped back to the opposite to his desk once again and he smiled at one of Forrester's people. He was sure he should know she name but...Nicoli just smiled. "Thank you," he said fairly curious as to what it was that the note said. He tried to open it, tugging at the leaf of parchment. It was sealed. Nicoli tapped his wand across the sheet and opened it, his eyes scanning the page.

The note said:

Nicoli took a deep breath. Of course. The Students. As he read on however, he realized that he was in the dark about something. Nicoli raised his head and sat back in his chair. Cooper's and Belle's? His confusion was cleared, however by what the other man said in the background. So Hogwarts was segregated now was it? Nicoli shifted his black quick-notes quill to a fresh piece of parchment and watched it scribble down everything that needed to be said. Tapping the note with his wand, Nicoli watched it fold itself into a ornate paper aeroplane and fly out of the space between the door and door jamb.

“Nice to meet you, Jude” he said pleasantly and shook the man’s hand. “Nathan Greenwood. ...What can I do you for?” He asked sitting back and listening to the man’s tale of the goings on at Hogwarts. Nathan had already got wind of the rumours from Alexa, but that’s exactly what he thought they were - rumours. Obviously he was wrong... again.

“There’s not a lot we can do, I’m afraid. It’s up to the Education Department how they see fit to run the school. Unless the professors actually start harming the children physically or mentally, our hands, as the MLES, are tied in this particular situation.” He gave the man an apologetic look, knowing that this wasn’t particularly helpful information. He sat up in his seat as Jude went on to request a meeting with the person who organised the changes within the school.

“You would need to speak to the Department of Magical Education’s Head. I believe her name is Samantha Rose.” She had actually been in this office a couple of times. “I could send her a memo requesting a meeting with her.” He suggested. “Or I could accompany you, if you wish, to Level One and see if we speak with her regarding your worries.” Nathan knew he was treading on very thin ground here – the orders were most likely to have come from the Minister of Magic himself and if that were the case, there was very little that could be done, except attempt to reason with him – not an easy task with Miss Belle on the scene, if the rumours about her be believed. And it was well known how hard it was to get a meeting with the Minister, which was just as well because Nathan had become rather fond of his job of late.

A large phoenix patronus appear in front of Nicoli.
"Mufliatto!" the phoenix said before on continuing. "I found a way to make a patronus cast a Muffliato charm it's cool isn't it" the voice of Forrester was heard by Nicoli only. "I got your message I'm ready to move when you are... By the way I guess we should talk to the headmaster and headmistress about all of this maybe we should talk to your lady friend from education as well... Tell me everything you have about the case of the school and what happened to thos two girls... I have been off the case for a while"
The phoenix then disappeared leaving nothing behind it as the muffiato charm was lifted.

"Yes, I would enjoy your company very much," Jude remarked. "Before we go though I would also like to point out that the 'Magic is Might' fountain still stands in the Atrium. I would like to speak to whoever is responsible for it still standing as well. One of the Law Enforcements told me a few months ago it was because of the lack of funding to replace it but obviously that is no longer the case if the Ministry is able to garner enough gold to create two new schools that none of the parents or guardians of the students were aware of."

Jude tried to keep his tone as conversational and calm as possible. His quirrel was not with this man, but with the Ministry and the witches and wizards behind both the fountain and the schools.

"I'm not sure if you've seen the petition lately but the signatures have grown since its first outting."

J. J. Starr, Jason Potter Weasley and Jamie Chapley wait in the room. "By the way. I work for Samantha Rose now" J. J. Starr told the person at the front desk.

Samantha took a seat with J.J. and his group. "I'm here for you," she said. She couldn't do anything to change the situation with the schools, but she could still help out with what she knew was right.

J. J. Starr whispers to Miss Rose "Jason and I found about who is always trying to poison Jason's cousin Monica and who kidnapped Barry's mother"

He listened as Jude spoke of the Magic of Might statue, wondering whether the wizard was still missing his head and resisted the overwhelming temptation to smirk like an idiot. He was supposed to be being professional here. “I'm not sure who handles the Ministry's finance." Nathan replied honestly. "Such things are probably handled within the Minister's offices. His secretary may be willing to see you regarding this, but it’s not really a matter for the la...”

Speak of the devil! Samantha’s timing was impeccable! No need to venture anywhere near the scary Minister’s offices on level one now and risk being fired for speaking out of terms. He looked back at Jude. “Would you excuse me a second, mate?” He stood up and sauntered casually over to where Samantha and another employee were standing waiting to be seen. “Miss Rose?” He nodded politely at the other gentleman. “What brings you back here, love?” Probably wanting to discuss the murder case with Nicoli, but as she was here... and Nicoli was busy...

His nephew is a pupil at Hogwarts, and he has a few issues he would like to discuss with someone regarding the way the school is currently being run.” He gave her an apologetic look – she, and her friend, obviously hadn’t come here for this, and she was likely being bombarded with loads of questions from worried, and angry, parents at the moment. Poor woman. He gestured for her and her colleague to come and join Jude over at his desk.

Nicoli raised a brow at the first comment made by the Phoenix. Forrester had moved up to patronus now? Right. Nicoli picked up the sheet of paper in front of him with the information he had recently on the Hogwarts case. He took a deep breath and replied to Forrester in the manner that was now expected of him. True, of course, the letters took too much time to write. Nicoli watched as a slivery iguana erupted from his wand and glanced at him for a long moment before scampering off to the Auror office.

Nicoli now noticed Miss Rose and J.J appear from behind the door and Nathan engaging them in some talk with the other man that was in the office earlier. Nicoli rose from his desk and wandered over to Nathan's desk where they were gathering. Nicoli could just about notice two children following J.J. He decided to be silent until Miss Rose had addressed or finished with the other man. He gave them each a smile. They seemed to enjoy their office quite a bit.

The phoenix patronus headed towards Nicoli and casted a Muffliato charm.
"Im ready when you are... Come to my office before we can head off" Forrester patronus said before disappearing in fumes.

Jude tapped his toe on the marble floor, wondering how long it was going to take for someone to attend to him. Nathaniel had told him to wait but for how long?

Nathan almost jumped when he noticed the children accompanying J.J and Miss Rose. He hadn't noticed at all them before. He gave them both a friendly smile.

He nodded politely at J.J. to let him know he was welcome to be there while Samantha talked to Jude, who appeared to be getting impatient. He pulled up two more seats so they could sit down around his desk. Once she got this over with, she would be able to speak to Nicoli who appeared to be free now.
