All the way down the hallway, pass the division rooms, next to the break room is the Head's Office. On the door reads:

Head Office
Department of International Magical Cooperation
Evaline Jane Bass

When you enter the first thing you notice is all the Slytherin pride. With that, Evaline has many photos of people and places on her walls. Stepping further into the office, you see the fire place that has just resently been used and then turn to the big oak desk. Behind it, sitting in a swivel chair, is Evaline Bass hard at work on the phone with another countries Magical Government or filling out paper work. When its all finished, she looks up and smiles, her teeth gleaming. Pushing her hair back she replies, "How may I help you?"

Oh yeah, she was a little steamed, Rico could tell. Still very formal and polite though, oddly enough. Apparently the boss had excellent self-control. Interesting.

Rico nodded to Evaline and walked the rest of the way into the office, taking a seat in the other chair and to relax while he waited. He had the invitations done, now he just had to find out what else to do....

"I can see that you are unpleased by my entrance" Forrester said as he looked at the woman. "But believe me as soon as this thing ends and I hope it ends as I wish it would because if not you will have much more trouble trying to keep a good relation with France, you will understand why I was in such a hurry... Now if that is all what your department can do to me just give me a name I will handle everything myself from here on" Forrester explained, turned around and left towards his office.

Evaline eyed the man now trying to make her feel guilty for being angry at him and it wasn't working. She did not take the guilt trip. Ever. She was about to explain to the man, if he needed a translator just ask and she would get someone from her department to do it, but he had already took the name and walked out her office.

"Pigheaded man. How would he like it if someone barged in on him. I swear, tosays people and their manners. If it had been the Minister would he have done the same. Certainly no..." she stopped mid-sentence when she realized she was still not alone. She looked at Rico and blushed a bit.

"Sorry. I didn't mean for you to here my ranble," she replied trying to cover her bases. "Did you need something?" she asked politely.

Easily amused, Rico patiently watched as the man made his melodramatic exit and Big Boss Bass fumed a little.

"You're fine, really, I understand your, ah, reaction," Rico chuckled, his brown eyes still twinkling. He had no opposition to people having tempers - anger is just another human emotion, after all.

"Actually, I believe you need these," he said, leaning forward and lightly setting the stack of invitations on her desk. "The invitations for the upcoming Conference...all are finished and personalized with each Minister's name. All they need are perhaps a ministry seal and you're good to go." He sat back in the chair and folded his hands, waiting for her approval. Rico was a wee bit proud of those invitations and his speediness in completing them.

Evaline smiled at Rico for understanding, she really dhouldn't have favorites of her division heads but maybe she had a small preference to him more then the others.

Making her smile even bigger as he handed the invitations over. "Oh my god, you are a life savor," she said gleefully and took a peek at them. "These look great." she added and put them down to give them to Chad later after her meeting. "Thanks so much Rico." she replied.

He couldn't help but grin a little bit more, if that was possible, when Evaline complimented his invitations. Cheyea, nailed that assigment, he thought proudly.

"No problem, B-" he caught himself about to say Big Boss Bass, but recovered quickly and replied, "No problem, Evaline. I'll be going now..."

And with a polite smile and nod, Rico suavely exited from the room, closing the door behind him.

After have just coming back to see one of her division heads off, Evaline sat down in her swivel chair and began assessing what she needed to do to find another division head. She couldn't believe Nicholas had to leave, but then again it was for the best. He would do well working in another country and helping them organize.

She made herself a cup of tea and began filling out the paper work for the the employment office so they could start getting in applications for a new divison head, oh and switch Rico into the his new division.

"Yes!Erm.. I mean, sure." she answered with a small grin, then waited for him to lead the way, because she had no idea where his boss's office was.
If Rico was also going to meet this Evaline then there was no problem for her to go with him.. if fact it was good not to walk alone through the ministry halls for a change.

Rico couldn't help but smile a little. Aha. He was totally walking her, Angelina Gilmore, to the office.

It was pretty sad that that was the highlight of his day but alas, work always came first.

"Right this way," he gestured, leading her right up to Big Boss Bass' door. "I'll just knock first since, uh, she kind of has a thing for that...." he grinned and rapped his knuckles on the door. Maybe Evaline wouldn't be mad about that missed meeting...since he was still kind of working...yeah....

Evaline was almost finished with her report and about to go bring it to the employment office when she heard a knock on her door. "Come in," she said politely wondering who was calling.

Angelina was so used to walk alone by the ministry corridors that she was feeling slightly odd for having someone walking with her.
Someone pretty nice and..

Humnm?
She stopped walking and stood next to Rico feeling slightly confused.
The office was there?
But didn't they just start walking off the break room?
Apparently not.
When Angelina looked around , she noticed she was in different corridor.
But it sure looked like they did to her.
Sigh She was even kinda enjoying... having someone walking.. next to her.

Hearing Rico's voice, the young woman moved her eyes to him.
"Yes, sure. I understand. Go ahead." Angelina said with a small grin on her face.
She heard a voice answering from the inside of the office and waited.

Rico smiled at Angelina and opened the door. She seemed a little surprised at how small their offices were - they probably seemed a lot cozier than the minister's gallant office.

"Hello again, Ms. Bass," Rico said politely from the doorway. He gestured for Angelina to go in ahead of him. "Miss Gilmore here wished to see you..." and I'm supposed to ask about that meeting I missed...but it can wait....

Chad moved quickly down to the department head's office; it almost seemed like he just slid down the whole instead of taking step after boring step. Finally after a few more boring steps, he reached her office and knocked on the door. Invitations and meeting..invitations and meeting... he was repeating to himself the two things he had to cover with her quickly.

Evaline looked up at the people that entered and it was Rico. "Hey Rico come in and Miss Gilmore an if anyone else is out there I don't know about," she added covering all her bases.

She looked at Rico and asked, "Yes Yes. What does she need?"

Chad entered in behind Rico and the other woman. He kept his mouth shut, he would open it when she addressed him. He was doing pretty good at not annoying her, he would very much like for it to remain that way. He moved and stood in the corner, teetering on the balls of his feet, waiting for his turn.

Evaline was waiting for Rico's response when she noticed Chad had slipped in. When she saw him acting polite it reminded her of when Lance came and acting all boyfriendish for her to make sure Chad stayed in line. She figured now that Lance was gone Chaed would here about it and then be back to his normal self.

She nodded at him, "Hey Chad. Did you need something real quick or is it something you wish to talk to me in private about?" she asked him. If she could get his inquirie out of the way that was one less thing she had to deal with.

"Mmm, private...non. I think this is safe to discuss with les others in the room," he gave a quick glance at the other two in the room and flashed them both a warm smile, before turning his gaze back to Evaline.

Halting in his teetering, he moved closer to the desk, so that he could talk to her without having to yell. "I'm just here to let you know that I've set up a meeting with Mademoiselle Taylor on Thursday...and she was also asking about the invitations. Are those ah...fini? I think she wants to look at them," he scratched his ear gently as he started to teeter again.

Evaline looked at him as he responded. At least he was still trying to be nice. Maybe he was getting better as he got older. Ha, probably not. Wasn't it usually the opposite.

She then waited for him to speak since he said it was ok for him to talk while others were in the room. "Right. I will put that down thank you." she replied to the meeting with Reagan and then added. "Yes they are finished. Just need them approved by the Minister and the official stamp and such and they should be read to send."

"I believe Reagan can do that for me?" she commented but a little unsure. That what Chad was there for right.

"Reagan told me that she wanted to see the invitations herself, the minister doesn't need to be involved in that part. The only thing that the Minister needs to see before it gets put out in the open is the proposal for the stance on flying carpets. She wants him to read it and choose if he wants to stand by it or not," he explained in a gentle voice as he paused in his teetering again.

Evaline looked at Chad not lking his words but replied in the same gentle manor back. "Ok I guess thats fine. We just thought it would look good if his signature was on it so it seems like he actually had a part in this, but no matter." she explained and then added. "we won't make up our decision on the flying carpet matter until we talk with India. We want to dicuss it from their point of view before me make our proposal, so he'll get that after our conference is done."

Chad shrugged a little, "Maybe at the meeting you can ask Reagan if le Minister could endorse les invitations? It sounds like a good idea, I'm sure Reagan would agree to it, as well." He tilted his head curiously as she mentioned not finishing the proposal now and he nodded his head. "That is fine, as long as it gets to her before the conference, then you're good. This meeting is just to discuss the functioning of the opening and the closing ceremonies along with decorating, I believe. The rest of your staff should know...a few of them had some ideas, even before I left the conference room."

Evaline nodded. That would work much better. "Yes I will definitely do that. We can't just have the Minister look like he's doing anything. That would not look good for his image," She commented hoping her sarcasm was not to great.

She looked at him. "Yeah I will get that proposal written up and hand it to her." she replied to him and then added, "Ok. Thats fine. I'll make sure I get those ideas and have them before the meeting."

Angelina entered the room, her eyes moved to the woman that was sit in front of her.
She wasn’t planning on spending much time talking with the head division, the woman seemed to have another things to do and Angelina herself was needed to get back to level one. “ I just need to know how is the conference process going.” she spoke politely and calmly.
And then a man entered in the office, she gave the man a polite smile back while she heard him talking with Evaline.
Humnm.. was he French ?

Chad smirked lightly and gave a small cough, "Nonn Mademoiselle! Of course, you are correct...plus, his signature would make the les invitations appear much more...professionale." Laughing on the inside as he caught a bit of the sarcasm in her voice, he ran a hand through his hair as they discussed the last few things.

"Oh, Mademoiselle Taylor has expressed interest that I be at the meeting, as well, and I promise you, I will come. I can give you hand when it comes to describing the ceremonies. But now, I shall give you back to your employees. I appear to have the cut the line," he chuckled, "Thank you for your time, Mademoiselle Bass. I shall see you at the meeting," he turned on his heel to make for the door, pausing as he heard the woman's words.

"Oh, Mademoiselle," he tilted his head apologetically, bowing it a little towards her, "I am sorry for taking Mademoiselle Bass from you. She is now yours for your chatting conveniences," he smiled and laughed lightly.

"I would stick around and chat with toi, you are new in the Minister's Office, non? I apologize for making this brief, but I have a few other matters to attend to. Perhaps, a raincheck?" He gave her a warm smile again, before heading to the door.

"Au revoir, mes amis!" He waved to the people in the room before heading out past the door.

Evaline nodded as he agreed with her on one point. She smiled and replied. "My sediments exactly." She loved being right and he caught her sarcasm too. At least he could joke about things like that. She would not like him running to the Minister and suggesting that Evaline wasn't faithful or anything.

She nodded at him as he was about to take leave. "ok then. See you there. And yes that would be great if you helpd me with that. I unfortunetly was not there for the meeting where you briefed my employees." she responded. "Au revoir" she said back as he left and then turned to the next person.

"Hello. Nice to meet you Miss Gilmore," she greeted and then smiled at her. "As you have just heard our conference for the flying carpet within my department is done and I'll have the proposal done soon enough." she replied to her inquiry.

Rico had entered the office with Angelina and didn't even notice Chad was there until he spoke.

Oh. Frenchie again...I'll let him say his piece, he thought, closing his mouth from where he'd opened it to speak. The liaison was being a little odd and teetering all over the place....huh.

Once Chad had left, Rico raised an eyebrow at Evaline. "So...do I have to re-do the invitations or something?" he asked a little sarcastically. "I suppose it would look bad if we signed the minister's name for him...."

He rolled his eyes and then remembered that Angelina was there....and she worked right for the minister....."But surely our wonderful Minister of Magic is just too busy doing very important things to care about invitations," Rico added quickly, trying to atone for his cynical lapse. He stuck in his hands in his pockets and rocked back on his heels a little. Yeah. He still had yet to mention was he was really there....
