All the way down the hallway, pass the division rooms, next to the break room is the Head's Office. On the door reads:

Head Office
Department of International Magical Cooperation
Evaline Jane Bass

When you enter the first thing you notice is all the Slytherin pride. With that, Evaline has many photos of people and places on her walls. Stepping further into the office, you see the fire place that has just resently been used and then turn to the big oak desk. Behind it, sitting in a swivel chair, is Evaline Bass hard at work on the phone with another countries Magical Government or filling out paper work. When its all finished, she looks up and smiles, her teeth gleaming. Pushing her hair back she replies, "How may I help you?"

Chad was walking down the corridor to Bass's office, reading the piece of paper containing their assignment over and over again. He sighed and pondered how they were going to go about in completing it in time for the Press Conference. Everything was so speedy speedy around here. Mervielleux...

Chad eyes were focused intently on the paper as he came up outside the office door. He kicked the door with his foot and then opened door, still looking at the paper. "Bonjour Mademoiselle Bass...I 'ave...oh," he had finally looked up. "I am sorry, I didn't know that you had company...Have no fear, I shall linger...overrr...here." He wandered to a corner and continued to read the assignment paper.

Evaline smiled nrightly at Susan. She was very very pleased with her. "Ah yes I was and I'm happy to be working with a former peer. This should be good." she stated and then saw a movement flicker out the side of her eye and turned to see Chad standing on the wall, not having knocked before he entered. Rude.

"Well Susan I will see you around," she said when she turned back to look at her. "It seems this man has a pressing matter to inform me about. Godd day." she said to her and watched her leave.

After the girl had gone she starred at Chad. "Yes." she asked wit one eyebrow cocked. This had better be important.

Chad mildely smirked at Bass's reaction to his breaking and entering. "You are not happy? Non, I would think not...I guess I ruined a reunion. Je suis desolee, mais this cannot wait Mademoiselle. We are running out of time and unless you would like to have your job on the line, I highly suggest you wipe that look off ton visage and at least appear to be mildly intrested in what I have to say," he blinked calmly and walked over to her desk. While sitting down he added, "An attitude change is what I'm asking for. C'est tout."

He crossed his legs and lightly slid the paper containing their assignment across her desk:

Tonya Anne Springs walked toward the department head's office and knocked on the door. She straightened her suit and tucked the stray hair behind her ear and patiently waited for a response.

"No I'm not" she said flatly at him and then eyed hm as he told her to change her attitude with a threat as well. Who does he think he is. As long as I do my work, things will be fine and I cannot lose my job for being uncivil to a liason. "Right." she muttered and then said under her breath, "twit." and started to read the paper he handed her.

Evaline looked up and shrugged. "Should be easy. I'll get my employees on it now. If that is all then can you excuse yourself out, someone it as my door." she replied curtly and looked at the door.

Tonya Anne Entered the office, "I'm sorry I didn't mean to interupt I only came to introduce myself. She walked up to the department head and held out her hand. "I'm Tonya Anne Springs." she said with a smile.

Trying to be polite as she could, she said to the girl. I do not like people entering my office without permission you see." She was being polite, right?

She then glared at Chad. Giving bad impressions to my staff. He was definitely not on her good list.

Chad continued to smirk at her, "I heard that," he said simply in reply to her calling her a twit. Aww, he had to go? Already? Shame, the party was just about to get started. He sighed softly and went to pick himself out of the chair to leave so that lucky guest #2 could enter and enjoy Bass's lovely company. But, before he could get all the way out, the employee was walking in. Oh joy! A dinner and a show! and he quickly sat back down.

He chuckled at the sight of Bass. She looked like she was ready to explode. The poor woman, dealing with Chad would be like taking care of 4 or 5 hyperactive 5 year olds. He caught her glare and continued to smile the "Hey, I didn't tell them to enter" look. He watched the employee leave the room.

"Aww, Bass, tu made la femme embarrased. Shame shame..." snort. How ironic was that? He was telling the woman 'shame shame' after he was the one who kind of busted into her office. His attention was focused on the woman who was now shooting dagger looks at him, rather murderous if you asked him. He got the point. "I'm going to go now. I will be back in a few days to check on the progress of the invites, I would like to see a copy of the invite before you send it out, aussi. It was mervielleux to speak with you again, Mademoiselle Bass, even if it was rather tensious," he smirked and saluted. "Au revoir Mademoiselle." and he walked out the door, shutting it softly behind him.

Rico thought he had gathered enough information regarding that Quibbler article, so he finally approached Evaline's office. As he strolled down the corridor, he spotted an unfamiliar man just leaving. Having no idea who the guy was, Rico simply nodded at him, the most common form of man-to-man acknowledgment, and continued walking. He quickly reached the door of her office and rapped softly on the door.

After taking care of all the people on her division, and sending a couple of employees to their right place of work, Constanza made her way gracefully to the office of the Department Head. She was still not comfortable with calling her 'Evaline'.

The moment she reached the entrance of the office, she realized that she was going to wait sometime before actually talking to her. Patience was not one of her traits yet, the only thing she could was wait. Wait!

Rico was patiently waiting for Evaline to open the door, and was about to check the time on his old watch, but he was easily distracted by the approach of a beautiful woman.

She nodded at him, so what else would he do besides nod back. "Hello," he said to her politely before turning back to the door. Maybe it would open now that two people were waiting?

Evaline had just watched Chad leave with a smirk on his face. If only I could wipe it off myself, I'd be glad too. She was just about to go give the intructions to the division head for the International Magical Cooperation division when a soft raping on her door came. Anther one?

Evaline leaned back in her desk and answered the knocking, "Come in please." she said wondering who it could be this time. What she didn't know was that there were two people waiting.

Constanza was starting to get rather impatient. The word "Patience" did not exist in her dictionary. Eyeing her clock once more, she sighed an impatient sigh, before looking at the door of Evaline's office.

She was about to check her clock again, when she heard the man standing in front of her, saying Hello.

This was bad.

Her 'small talk' skills weren't the best. Actually, to be honest, she was quite terrible making a small conversation. The kind of conversations that people used to fill the silences.

Murdoch was about to reply to the man's greeting when she heard Evaline's voice telling them to come in. She was even slightly surprised that the man was being polite enough, to let her enter first. Appereantly, there were still a few gentlemen in the universe. How shocking

"Thank you" She said, flashing him a smile as she entered to the office.

Rico grinned and nodded to the women as she entered. He followed, shutting the door behind them, and approached Evaline's desk. Actually, he kinda hovered near her desk, not sure if he should just flop the papers on her desk or wait for the other woman to speak.

"Hello again, Miss Bass," Rico said, shuffling the papers in his hand. "Things in the office sure have picked up, eh?" He chuckled, and shot a glance at the other woman, wondering what she was there for. And then he decided to stop beating around the bush and just state his purpose. No time like the present.

"Actually, I'm here because uh, I think we might have a problem," he said with a sharp nod. "I mean...have you seen this?" Rico tossed The Quibbler onto her desk, the headline 'International Scandal: Mixed-Breed Monsters!' evident.

Evaline smiled as Constanza walked into her office but then was surprised to see Rico walk in after her. She tilted her head and responded. "So what's happening that I have the pleasure of recieving both of you?" she asked them.

Rico of course jumped right into what he was here for. She picked up the Quibbler and scanned the article. She looked up from her reading, "International scandel, eh?" and then she added, "This sounds just like our ally. What do you think is going on with this?" she asked him hoping he was already on top it. She liked her staff well informed.

She glanced at Constanza and this looked like up her ally too. She decided to wait and tell her about the invitations later after Rico left.

Rico was half-surprised and half-pleased to see her take The Quibbler seriously. Of course, he thought it was a perfectly legit magazine...but when he'd brought it up to Heather, well...she'd laughed in his face.

"Well....." Rico drawled, trying to decide where to begin. "The article states that some dangerous mixed-breeds --- 'invisible monsters' I mean --- have been traded into the country." He nodded, and ran a hand through his thick, dark hair.

"So I did some research on the breeds mentioned, the lethifold and the demiguise," Rico said as he handed Evaline his research. "And it looks like if you combined the two, and this is a wild guess, you would get something like a....an..." he scrunched up his face, trying to find the right word, "...an invisibility cloak that strangles you in your sleep? Does that make sense?" He was asking her as much as he was asking himself, as this monster threat made no sense at all. Then again, he was used to dealing with issues of transportation....

He really had no idea where to start, especially on such a mysterious case like this one.

Rico looked up from his pacing and noticed that Evaline had mentioned 'guys'....plural. He flashed a smile at the woman he still didn't know and took a seat in front of Evaline's desk.

"Right...they could be selling the animals to Muggles too, I don't know..." he frowned and leaned back in the chair. "So, I suppose the next step is to bust one of the trades in Switzerland or Scotland or such?"

She tried hard to not raised and eyebrow to the fact, that he seemed to be taking The Quibbler seriously. Honestly, there might be a couple of articles there, once in a while that were true, but must of the time it was all rubbish!

"The creatures were shipped to Switzerland and Scotland?" Constanza asked, speaking for the first time. She could believe that they were being shipped to Scotland maybe, but to Switzerland? "Why would someone be shipping Invisible creatures to Switzerland?" She inquired, "I mean, Switzerland is like the most neutral country ever" Why would Switzerland would want to protect, or defense themselves from another Ministry? Those people were very diplomatic, not to mention pacific. What do I know anyways? Transportation is not my area of expertise..

Rico glanced at the other woman; she was obviously another employee who had some knowledge of diplomacy. Maybe.

He could have laughed at her description of Switzerland - it was accurate. "That's very true, miss," he nodded at her. "There has to be some underlying cause, obviously, or something that would make oh-so-nuetral Switzerland suddenly start trading monsters." He paused to think, tapping his foot.

"Or...Switzerland could be unaware that they are shipping in 'monsters'. I mean, they could be disguised as something else or could be mislabeled......" Rico trailed off, then shrugged. "Who knows."

Evaline looked at Constanza who finally talked and joined in the conversation which had to do with her as much as anyone else in the department. This job seemed like it was going to need everyone it could get to work on it. "True. Your very right Constanza." she replied and kept reading.

When she finally finished the article, she put it down and looked up at them. "Right. So we don't know what the purpose of the "invisible monsters" are for but they seemed to be causing stress." she began starting to think of her plan. "Well normally it would mostly have to do with the Magical Creature department but since we are dealing with International stuff and we do not know the cause yet, it deals with us, at least your two divisions." she finished and leaned back.

"So I think we should have a departmental head meeting in the conferense room and bring up the Magical Creature Department head and let them sit in on it as well." she commented making a mental note and then picked up her quill to write it down. But before she did that she looked at them to make sure that was ok. "That good with you. I'll send a memo to the other division head or one of you guys can tell her. It doesn't matter." she added. "Oh and i guess the department liason will have to sit in as well." she disgustly said wishing he didn't have too.
