Default The Greenhouses: Herbology Lesson One

Herbology Lesson One

It was the start of a new term, with new students, returning students and best of all... a new look to greenhouse six! Seren had been rather impressed with the way it all turned out. The refurbishment had gone better than anticipated. In the place of the old buckets and ponds which catered to the needs of numerous aquatic life, there were sparkling clean tanks of all shapes and sizes surrounding the skirts of the greenhouse and forming row upon row throughout...

Standing eye to eye with a tank that glowed greenish blue light upon her face, Seren admired the corals in its depth and inspected their convolutions, prongs and stubs.

Lesson Progression:

What is our topic this term?
Define: Ecosystem
Why are ecosystems important to the study of Herbology?
Moving to the Castle

OOC: The lesson has officially started. If you haven't done so already then please read through the Herbology Rules and Expectations and the SS Site Rules. All SS Board Rules apply. IC rule breaking will result in IC punishment, OOC rule breaking will result in OOC punishment. Please behave appropriately and most importantly... have fun. If you have any questions don't hesitate to send me a PM.

Stupid? Whaaat? She had not thought what he said was stupid. It was deep, man. She nudged him with her elbow a bit and whispered so only he could hear. "I thought it smart." SMIIILE.
Did his answer actually make sense? Rich did not know. He tried to make sense anyway and he hoped it did. He tried not to sigh. Anyway at least it was an attempt to take part in the class and it could not be considered so bad.

He kept staring at the tank and the professor as the others answered the question in their own way. Meh...his did not sound any worse than others. But then...he was distracted when he was poked by...someone. He turned to see who it was and, of course, who it was brought a smile to his face as well what she whispered to him. He chuckled lightly. ''Really? Thanks, Princess Peyton.'' he whispered back

...

Seren was rather pleased with their progress... and it helped that they had a sound understanding on the topic, even if it wasn't perfect. After all, they were here to learn.

"Alright, good... now gather you're things, we're going to head off and head up to the castle for our next activity." She paused for a moment, hoping to see some shocked faces... "Level one! Follow me!" she called out, now moving off ahead of them, "Keep up."
Oh wow!

The professor did not think his answer was stupid at all. Then it was not stupid. Richard grinned. She had even said that he had an important point. Good. This was good. It looked like he was going to be able to deal with this Herbology.

Then the class was ordered to move. All right. Shouldering his bag, Richard looked around first then followed the rest of the class out of the greenhouse.
