She wasn't lying, it was good to be back - amazing. And as she wandered through the new greenhouse, she realised she was there to enjoy the new scenery at the same time as everyone else. It wasn't just one more thing she had missed. And it was incredible looking. Seren's smile dropped slightly. "Aaaww, that's not good... I just hope things improve for you then." With a flushed face, Daichi Katharos raced to the Greenhouses. He was lucky that he had long legs so that he could make bigger steps but even he was out of breath when he reached the classroom. He could just hear the Professor say that they were going to begin shortly and the Slytherin quickly adjusted his robe and tie to look more presentable.
The first thing that Daichi noticed that he was, thank Merlin, not late. He walked over to the Professor and tried to look as if had not just ran over from the castle. Although his sweaty face and flushed cheeks showed it all.
"Hello Professor Bentley, hope i'm not late" he said with a worried expression on his face as his bit his lower lip. Seren smiled, "Nope, just in time," she mused. "And congratulations on your prefectship." Quote:

With hasty steps, the sixth year made her way out of the castle and walked to the greenhouses. After a while, the girl found herself standing in front of the greenhouse six.
Time for Herbology.
Gwendolyn entered the greenhouse and approached the group of students who was already waiting. While making her way to the part of the greenhouse where everyone was standing, the sixth year looked around. Examining the tanks, a smirk appeared on her face. This place looked great. Now she really was in the mood for Herbology. ‘Hello, Professor Bentley’, she said with a small smile. "Good morning Gwen," she replied, giving the Ravenclaw a welcoming smile. Quote:

The sixth year walked briskly through the grounds and slowed as he approached Greenhouse Six. Pausing in the doorway, green eyes took in the newly renovated greenhouse. Impressive. Throwing a smile to Bentley as he walked past her, he said, "Good morning, Professor.. the greenhouse looks great."
And now for a seat? As the boy walked through, he spotted Minerva not too far away. Sliding in to the spot next to her, Ethan had a smile for her as well. "Hey, Min.. ready for class?" Good, she didn't look too anxious.. He hoped she would have fun today, since they were obviously working with water plants. Those were all sorts of interesting. Seren returned Ethan's smile. "Oohh thank you," she replied brightly. She was exceptionally pleased that he approved. Quote:

Smiling and a bit relieved, she let out a deep breath. Was she late though? That thought made the Gryffindor run straight towards the greenhouse, attempting to tie her hair up in the process. She couldn't be late for her first herbology class of the term! That would be ridiculous! She stumbled inside and looked around. The lesson hadn't started yet, right?
"Good... morning... Professor Bentley," Melanie panted. Ah... tired... "I'm not late right?" she asked, eyes wide.
Because she didn't want to be. Merlin!
Did the girl run from the castle or something? "Nope, you're on time..." she replied, offering the girl a sympathetic smile. "Take a moment to catch your breath dear." Quote:

Is it one of the surprises you told me about before summer?" he asked though he couldnt see what the surprise was in a bunch of water plants, a surprise would be more like a plant that had teeth or something and was a bit dangerous. He hoped there would be something like that this term, ok so they start slow with some water stuff but he wanted some really amazing stuff like that man eating plant from last term! She'd been observing what appeared to be nothing, but she knew better than that... and suddenly, she heard a familiar voice beside her. "Ahh Dylan... well, sort of... not quite, but you'll see," she said with a wink. Quote:

"Will this be open for extra-curricular studies at all?" he asked. He really hoped it would. Spike had never got the chance to do much work on aquatic plants. It was difficult to process that Spike was now a seventh year... when did he grow? Or did it happen over the summer break? "Morning Spike," she replied... amused and thrilled with his approval. "You like it?"
After ticking off a few more names from her student list, Seren checked the time. It was definitely time to get started now. "Alright, gather round!" she called out, waiting for the students to assemble into a makeshift group of some sort. "Welcome and welcome back! Please bear in mind all classroom rules, and please use your common sense. Gloves, are to be worn at all time... with the exception of today, as you won't be needed them."
Seren cast a glance around the group, she couldn't hide her excitement, nope. "Now as many of you can see, greenhouse six has undergone a transformation... and I felt this was the perfect location to start our topic for the term." She paused here to give students the opportunity to think about what that might mean. "Does anybody want to hazard a guess as to what we'll be studying this term?"... "Feel free to take a look around, raise you're hand when you think you've worked it out." OOC: The lesson has officially started, do not announce your charrie arriving late if you have not posted already. Just pretend as if they've been here the whole time. Unless you want to lose points. The lesson will continue in approximately 10 hours from the time of this post. ONE answer/guess in your response please.
