Smack dab in the middle of the day, History of Magic may not be the class you want after enjoying a relaxing lunch break but want it or not, it’s what you have. Making your way into the classroom the first thing that hits you is the nice cool breeze coming from the open windows.
At the back of the classroom, away from the last row of desks, happen to be two extremely old chairs. They appear as though they may be on the verge of breaking, but they must be there for a reason.
The desks have been arranged in their normal positions, two side by side. The only real difference happens to be small stack of papers on each desk along with an individual pack of coloured pencils.
As your eyes quickly dart to the front of the classroom you’ll notice that Scabior isn’t in his normal spot leaning against his desk, that would be quite a hard task considering the number of thin books stacked on his desk. Instead he sits behind it, like an actual respectable professor. He however, is not the only one at the front.
Sitting cross legged on a desk chair with wheels is a boy who looks slightly too young to even go to the school. He is continuously spinning around in circles until he catches sight of you, stops, and grins. “HELLLOO! Sit down, sit sit!”
OOC: Class has started! You are welcome to jump in just pretend like your charrie has been there all along! Class will begin in like...20 hours . Please familiarize yourself with the updated classroom rules. Your characters can chat, eat cookies, do a rain dance. Just remember Scabior is there, and SS and RPG rules apply.

So Cassia was silent because she was too busy inspecting the unusual atmosphere of the class. Like the professor's kid who obviously had this teaching thing in his blood. Was the mother a professor too? Did it like run in the family? Cassia made a mental note to search for info about this. And not just the boy there were also those older people who were the candidates. That's what they were right. Cassia saw stuff hung on the common room noticed board but she still hadn't read it. But she us planning on doing so THIS term. Mhmm.
Anyway, once she finished inspecting she turned her attention to the boy. Who was talking about a superhero. Right that what the lesson was about. It seemed so. The snake as a pureblood wouldn't have recognized the man. But thanks to the muggle of studies professor ,Cassia had heard of this man.
As for his special powers, the thirteen years old paused and tried to search her memory of what she knew about this superman..man. And because her knowledge was poor she raised her hand...out of habbit and spoke. "He has many...Like flying very very fast without a broom." Um...Was that mentioned. She didn't any other but she felt the need to answer. Because she was at class and needed a proof.

Audrey had blinked at the site of the boy when she'd entered the classroom. It wasn't often she saw someone her own size at Hogwarts. She decided very quickly that she liked him a lot.
Superman? What did that have to do with History of Magic? Were they gonna get to color? Even though she was muggleborn, Audrey had never really gotten into Superman. She'd read a book on him once, but had never opened an actual comic.
She thought briefly and raised her hand "Hasn't he got really thick skin..literally?"
Amelia hurried into the classroom for History of Magic where her Evaluation of the teacher was to be taking place. Fortunately she had arrived just in time to see the class getting ready to start. There was a boy sitting at the front of the room also. Interesting. With a nod to the other candidates she conjured a nice chair compared to the spindly chairs that were given to the candidates. After all they looked as if they could collapse.
When the teacher began the class she realized that the child was going to have a big part in the class. The teacher introduced him as his son then let him ask a question. And what did the comic books have to do with History of Magic? The students answered the questions, but she was surprised to hear that the boy was replying, and more than so teaching. If this was how the teachers ran Hogwarts she was very unimpressed. Sighing she began to scribble onto her clipboard comments on the teacher.
OCC: pretending she's already here because she wouldn't be late and I had a lot of finals studying

So many people! He didn't know so many kids could even fit into one room! Still spinning Kyroh blinked when he heard his name. Huh? OHOHOHOOH! SIERRA!! "Sierra! Hiiii!!!" Grinning Kyroh stopped the chair and almost went over to give her a hug, but he couldn't! They were in class.
Still surprised that he had seen Kyroh ANOTHER surprise came. This boy knew! Kyroh simply beamed. "I AM how'd you know? I'll let you try if you give the right answers."
Er-Scabior blinked at the boy. "Try and kill her?" Pssh. Like he failed at any tasks. If he had wanted to kill the old Headmistresses daughter he woudn't fail at it. Scabior was just not about to say that with potential board members in the room.
Oh look! Another board member! It was becoming routine and Scabior didn't even care what the man was there for. Either way he had to go on with his lesson.

Checking his watch one final time he flicked his wand closing the door. "Afternoon everyone." Standing up from his seat Scabior moved toward the spinning chair and rested a hand on it stopping it instantly. "Today our lesson will be a little bit different then usual. As you can see we have some board candidates at the back." He motioned to them. "Please don't distract them and they won't distract you." Got it? Good. "We also have this one here-" He motioned to the boy on the now un-spinning chair. "This is Kyroh Scabior. My son." If the last name didn't tip them off. "And he is here for a reason." But they would realize that soon enough.
"I've said this before and I will continue to say this again, History of Magic is a complex class. But really from the name it's self you are given the gist of the subject. And for the majority of classes we learn of the history through textbooks. For this class that is not the case."
An IMPORTANT reason! The important reason was now right? Starting now. Alright. Sliding off the chair, Kyroh ran to his father's desk and grabbed one of the thin books. "Who knows what THIS is?"

Minerva was sitting at her seat waiting for class to start not really paying attention to many things around her when she heard the Professor's voice starting class. She looked up have interested when he said that the little boy was his kid.. What a second.. did she just hear him right, he had a child.. a son.. him.. Not that he couldn't, but Minerva had never been under the impression he was married, nor he liked kids to be honest.
Trying to shake the shock off her face, Minerva then listened to the little boy. Well he seemed chipper and nice, must get that from his mother. Then her mind started moving to wondering who the mom could be, was it someone they might know, shaking the nosey thoughts out of her head she raised her hand to the question, "It's a superman comic." Were they back in Muggle studies again since they just did comics last term...

Uhhh...uhhh. Kyroh looked to his father, then back at the boy. "I'm not a Professor. I don't think that's allowed. I don't even have a wand yet." Sorry?
"You don't have to explain it. Everyone who knows what a comic book is knows what its like." Gosh. That was just silly. That was alright though. He walked over placing a chocolate frog on her desk too because she tried!
Kyroh frowned. "It is. And you're suppose to be happy about it! Because the people inside SAVE people! From bad stuff." She didn't want bad stuff to happen did she?
"No." Kyroh shook his head, back and forth and back back and forth. "He's Superman first, then he's known as the man of steel." Okay?
Before his son could say anything, Scabior was on the question. "Yes it is. As I stated before." Unless she was not listening. "Hold on, everything will make sense eventually. Just listen."
Kyroh blinked, and then suddenly appeared put out. "You're ruining it for anyone who wants to read!" He shouldn't ruin books! He thought this guy was one that he LIKED.
He knew X-Men! Heh! Kyroh smiled."I do!! I'll let you see them soon." There was a whole stack of those.

Scabior didn't interrupt as his son addressed the class. In fact he moved to his desk, and dragged the chair from behind it to beside it, then took a seat.
Running back up to the front Kyroh grinned. "I never knew your class was so smart!" Really! They had to be right? Because a lot of them knew about Superman. "So-" He took a deep breath. "My papa brought me here today because he knows about comics but I know more." He DID! Just about comics though, nothing else. "And he wanted to talk about comics. I think. So i'm going to talk a little bit about comics and ask questions and stuff for a little while, and then he'll just sit here and talk later about history." Or when he wanted to talk. That was how it worked right?
"That's okay with you guys right?" Kyroh looked at the class and blinked, and then he waved at Sierra once more. He didn't really wait for a reply.
"So like that boy-the Slytherin looking one-" He held his hand out pointing to West "Said first, this is a Muggle comic. And then like THAT boy-" Cue pointed finger at Oakey. "Said-it's a Superman comic." Both those boys were smart. Kyroh liked them.
"Superman is a superhero. And you know...superheroes are heroes...that are super. Because superheros are so special they get their own BOOKS millions of them, like this one-called comic books." Just because they were so special. "There are so many superheroes. More than anyone can count I think, but in the muggle world there are three heroes that everyone knows." EVERYONE. Even babies. Not that he spoke to babies. Babies didn't speak, but they still knew! "The first one is Superman." He held up the comic again. "He wears his underwear over his pants and they are blue so everyone remembers him." Thats how THEY could remember him too! "So, being a superhero, Superman, saves people. And has powers. Does anyone know some of Superman's powers?""
Minerva listened to the child again, she glanced around the room. Should Scab's really be letting his son just take over class with these BOG people watching. That didn't seem like a good idea, but it wasn't her class. Shrugging she turned her focus back to the child who was still talking about superman. putting her hand up, "He can fly" It seemed like others got the x-ray vision, so she picked the obvious power he had.
Nigel did feel like Superman had to many powers. But Nigel still did not know how this related to History of Magic. Nigel raised his hand and said
"He has super hearing, speed, strength and can absorb energy for yellow stars."
Nigel knew he had more powers. But those sounded like the basics.Nigel did wonder if they were going to talk about all of superman weaknesses like magic and all the diffident types of kryptonite.

Sophie was about to say the very first thing that came into her mind - that Superman could FLY - when many other students were a lot faster than her.
Okay then.
She tried to think of something else to say and not repeat what her classmates had already said, but there was nothing else she knew about that superheroe apart from the fact he could fly and that he had super strength. Oh, and that he came from another planet as well. Right? And that he got really weak whenever he was near some green stone!
Ohlook, she actually knew a lot more than she thought about this superdude. Cool! Um... maybe a different fact? "He can make people not recognize him by just wearing a suit and glasses!" Talk about super power!
Mom says I have no sense of direction, so I packed my bags and right.
Oakey was really really really liking this class. The Professor should bring his kid to Hogwarts more often. "Super man is known to have a lot of super powers, x-ray vision and super speed like a lot have mentioned." Oakey was feeling like a genius in this class taught by a child. "One of my favorite powers of his though is his ability to rejuvinate quickly. He could be in heated combat with Darkseid, and all he would need to do so he won't be so fatigued is get enough sunlight to kick butt again." He could go on a little more about why Kryptonians needed sunlight, but he didn't want to seem like a total nerd just yet.
This kid kinda reminded Nessie of her own little brother but her brother was a little smaller and not as definitelly not as talkative as this kid. The red head just gave him a smile and then her attention was taken by what Scabior had said next.

Was that supposed to mean something? Erm..odd. The red head blinked a little and then just nodded pretending she thought nothing of it. Maybe it wasn't supposed to mean anything anyways, maybe he really hoped she enjoyed her lunch? It was highly likely she was just over thinking.
Giggle. Renevsmee. She had been nicknamed many things but the way this Erik candidate pronounced her name was just something different. She gave him a nod too, which was supposed to be as a way of saying 'hello". The lesson was about to begin and if there was one teacher Ness knew not to mess with, it was Scabior. She would forever be terrified of him after the note situation. So no talking in his classes, she'd chat later with the candidates..if she had time that was.

It took the Renesmee a whole question to actually realize that this wasn't a joke. Was she alright with it? Kind of, this kid seemed alright so far and he did seem to know quite a bit about superheroes it was just SO weird to have a YOUNGER person to teach you. Hogwarts was clearly the place where things got weirder each day.
Superman powers? Heh. She had to know at least one of these. Problem was Ethan at home was a Spiderman boy and superman was not what she had plenty of knowledge on. Flying was what she wanted to say, but many people had already said that. Pout. "He has the power to make millions adore him."That could count right? Because everything else Nessie could think of had been said.
So....they were being taught by a kid? Aidan couldn't decide if that was a good thing or not. It should mean things would be...easy, yeah? Surely the kid wouldn't be as hard on them as Scabior would. And...they'd know more than him anyway, yeah?
...Or not, actually. Because Aidan knew nothing about these comics. Or this Superman. It wasn't a good feeling being outsmarted by someone too young to be in the class. So the boy sunk down a little in his seat, making a mental note to brush up on comics after class and hoping he'd be able to make some contribution later.

Peyton listened to the boy ramble and then turned to Seth, raising her eyebrow as if saying: you've got to be kidding me. She listened and payed attention, though. This was all for a reason, right? Okay, better get participating then. She raised her hand at the kid's next question. "Superman can regenerate from injuries at a very rapid pace." You know, super healing, or whatever you wanted to call it.

Kyroh - that was his name, right? - was holding up a comic book. A muggle something. Her classmates knew so she didn't bother much on raising her hand.
As for Kyroh's next question, Beezus finally snapped out of her 'Kyroh is so cute omg' world and got her hand up to answer. "Aside from those mentioned already, Superman also possess this remarkable recuperative powers that allow him to quickly heal from wounds and makes him immune to all forms of human or Earthly diseases, illnesses, viruses and toxins." Well, yes. She knew a bit about muggle superheroes. How could she not, when her cousin was obsessed with them when they were younger?
Could she pinch Kyroh's cheeks though? Just a quick slight piiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinch?

Minerva listened to the child again, she glanced around the room. Should Scab's really be letting his son just take over class with these BOG people watching. That didn't seem like a good idea, but it wasn't her class. Shrugging she turned her focus back to the child who was still talking about superman. putting her hand up, "He can fly" It seemed like others got the x-ray vision, so she picked the obvious power he had.

Was that supposed to mean something? Erm..odd. The red head blinked a little and then just nodded pretending she thought nothing of it. Maybe it wasn't supposed to mean anything anyways, maybe he really hoped she enjoyed her lunch? It was highly likely she was just over thinking.
Giggle. Renevsmee. She had been nicknamed many things but the way this Erik candidate pronounced her name was just something different. She gave him a nod too, which was supposed to be as a way of saying 'hello". The lesson was about to begin and if there was one teacher Ness knew not to mess with, it was Scabior. She would forever be terrified of him after the note situation. So no talking in his classes, she'd chat later with the candidates..if she had time that was.

It took the Renesmee a whole question to actually realize that this wasn't a joke. Was she alright with it? Kind of, this kid seemed alright so far and he did seem to know quite a bit about superheroes it was just SO weird to have a YOUNGER person to teach you. Hogwarts was clearly the place where things got weirder each day.
Superman powers? Heh. She had to know at least one of these. Problem was Ethan at home was a Spiderman boy and superman was not what she had plenty of knowledge on. Flying was what she wanted to say, but many people had already said that. Pout. "He has the power to make millions adore him."That could count right? It's like is Superman was your best friend you'd be all happy at first then you'd get kinda sad because everyone would love him and he could do everything but you couldn't so he had more fun than you." Having superman as a best friend would NOT be fun.
"So, Superman doesn't walk around with his underwear over his pants all the time. Only when Metropolis needs to be saved. Most of the time he's dressed up like a normal person like you guys or me." Kyroh paused. "But not really like you guys because you guys are wearing robes and Superman doesn't do that." Annnyyyywaaaaays. "When he's ready to save people he's known as Superman. But when he wears normal clothes he has his real name. Which really isn't his real name but we'll just say it is." Was that confusing? Did they understand?

Belle was in the class. She noticed her head of house was in the classroom. She gave her a friendly smile. Then she noticed the Board of Governors. Hmm...this was going to be an interesting lesson. She would ignore them of course. Her education was more important.
Then she heard the first question. What was the thing the professor's dad was holding. Belle already knew it was a Muggle Comic Book. It was also Superman on the cover. It seemed so rare. Belle would have like to get her hands on it and read it.
Then she heard the second question. What was superman's abilities? Belle had to think about this...Belle knew Superman could fly. Belle raised her hand. "Superman has super strength, x-ray vision and flight." she said listing some off.
Then she heard the next question as she was listing Superman's powers in her notebook. Belle raised her hand and knew the answer to the next question. "Superman's real name is Clark Kent." that was an easy one to know.

Nigel had to think about wizards having to hid you they are in the muggle world and how it is the same with super-heroes. It was a cool comparison.

Being the deputy headmaster's kid didn't mean that he could teach, could he? Like, seriously, Ira herself was definitely older than Kyroh. And then just like that, the lesson started with.. Superman? Or Spiderman? And with all these thoughts, Ira had completely skipped the first questions.
And now.. real name? Oh yes, Ira, of course knew it! Being a muggleborn, Superman and other action heroes was one of the very few things that she had in common with the other muggles back home. "Its Kent! That's Spiderman's name." She answered, raising her hand up up up and almost bouncing in her seat. It was a really cute name. "Atleast it was Clark Kent on earth."

What was the big deal about a man who wore his underwear over his pants? That was ridiculous. Not that he did not enjoy comics or something. Richard thought they were interesting to read if you had enough time to waste but this Superridiculousman was surely not his favourite. His powers were stupid, too exeggerated...just...too much. And Aurora seemed to be interested in this Mr. I-wear-my-undergarment-over-my-pants?
Richard snorted, leaned his back and folded his arms watching the kid going about comics and superman. It was hard not to question how all those were any related to History of Magic but he supposed the point was yet to be revealed so he decided to wait before he commented on that. He tilted his head to the side a bit, trying not to yawn as the others answered the last question about superman's real name. Clark Kent, yeah. But since he did not care, the Slytherin boy preferred to remain silent anyway. He just stared at the kid. The professor's son, huh?

Aliases. It was just like those crime shows Jory watched. The guy's real name is never given but there is a particular name he goes by. He raised his hand again. "It's Clark Kent,'' he said. And as some of the others mentioned, it was Clark Kent at least on earth.

Ok. It was real. Kat liked the little boy. Kyroh was so... Adorable. Kat never expected herself to be fond of this kid. She never liked children, but the way she looked at Scabior's son was different. It was also impressive, how he could teach them all about superheroes. Aww... All Kat knew was he liked the boy. She did. He was so irresistibly cute in one way or another.
Anyway, back to the class proper. There were still candidates observing and Scabior was still their professor, watching them. Ok... Superman's real name. Kat's hand shot right up. "He actually has two real names," Kat explained. "His earth name is Clark Joseph Kent but his other name, in his Planet, is Kal-El." Actually, Superman was an alien.
That was scary.

Alyssa listened as the others gave the Superhero's name, but she figured that since she already knew it, she technically wasn't repeating someone's answer, so she raised her hand.
"Kyroh, the name Superman was given by his birth father, Jor-El was Kal-lel. But in order to protect his identity, his adoptive parents called him Clark Kent. But I think that was also to prevent him from getting teased by the other kids."Alyssa explained.
'I mean which kid would want to grow up with a name like Kal-El?' Alyssa thought to herself.

Sophie wasn't really trying to understand what Comic Books had anthing to do with History of Magic, but she was kind of enjoying all this. And this little kid was so adorable it made everything more interesting!
Some people were saying Superman's real name was... Kal-El? Eh? She had never heard of that. "I've also heard it's Clark Kent." She said, agreeing with the others that were saying that. Though Nigel's answer really enlightened her about this Kal-El thing. It did make sense! She smiled at him before turning her head to face the cute ickle boy again, giving him a warm smile as well.
Not amused, yo! Basically, she was failing to see where this was going, but at least she was keeping a cool exterior and not slouching in DEFEAT like shoe!boy.
This actually made her smirk a little. Until her eyes landed on Scabior and it vanished. Also, she ventured a look at the man in the back, who seemed to be feeling the same way she was. HMPH. What do comic books have to do with History of MAGIC? They weren't superheroes, you know? They were wizards! (And witches!)
Of course, she didn't know this Superman person was called Clark Kent. But she knew now. Also, he's not normal, like us, he comes from another planet, apparently.
Right. Because he was being taught by a kid. About some superhuman alien from a comic book. That related in no way to history OR magic.
That didn't make him feel ANY better, kid. Any. At all.
He should have skipped today's lesson. It's not like it would effect his finals much. Because it had nothing to do with the class subject. But he was stuck here. And instead of staring dumbfounded at Kyroh, he let his eyes - and mind - wander. But he didn't catch Lotus's glance. Probably for the better.
For a good few moments Nessie just pouted at the child before her as she tried to remember a name, but before she could utter a thing someone else had beat her o the answer. Clark. She remembered now. yep. Clark Kent. An alright name if you asked her.
Looking up, Ness saw the writing on the board and decided it wouldn't hurt to scribble them down. Once she was done with that she looked at the kiddo and waited for what was next.
Mom says I have no sense of direction, so I packed my bags and right.
Could Oakey just hurry up and give Scabior's kid a huge Hufflepuff badger hug!?!?! Everything Kyroh was saying kept making Oakey more and more excited to see what Professor Scabior had in store for them! "Superman's real identity is Kal-El of Krypton, but on Earth and to those who don't know his Superman he goes by Clark Kent."
