Either way, Lottie raised her hand? They still had to do that, yes? "Well, he can fly," wasn't that what the drawing implied? Quote:

She was just grinning at the kid as he spoke, he was so CLEVER! And he clearly loved comics... which was always a good thing! "He has x-ray vision!" Aurora said, raising her hand and beaming a little more. She'd LOVE x-ray vision. 'Cause then you could see into people's heads and see what they were thinking and you wouldn't have to study or anything... right?
Or was that just legilimency..? Hmm... well, words and studying were Aurora's kryptonite, so she had no idea... Quote:

Back to Superman, though. Once again, they weren't his favorite...but anyone and everyone knew about him. He was like the STAPLE Comicbook Superhero. "Faster than a speeding bullet...SUPER speed, I mean."
The Slytherin was pleased with these lessons starting lessons. First Thor...and now this... Quote:

But no...Professor Scabior had indeed said history of magic so it was the right class, it just threw her for a loop. And seeing as she was aware of things more muggle than magical, including the topic at hand, Ellura raised her hand to answer the pro--boy. "He has the ability to see through solid things." Quote:

When were they going to read them eh? She wanted to start right now - or make her own Hero...who was her hero? Quote:

Superman can emit solar energy from his eyes and such." He was kind of AWESOME, wasn't he? Of course, the Hulj was cooler. The Hulk smashed things, which automatically made him number one on the fourth year's list. But she supposed Superman could be a close second. Quote:

But she had heard a lot of her friends go on and on about superheroes enough that she knew the general gist of who they were and what they did. This Superman guy, who sounded kind of cool from what everyone else was saying, had superpowers. And when she thought of super powers ONE thing came to her mind.
The redhead could not be sure if this Superman character actually had this power or not, but it was worth a shot to guess. What was the worst that happened? She was wrong? Although, in Scabior's class that was a pretty terrifying concept. Guy could be REALLY scary if he wanted to be. Also, she wasn't a Slytherin... so...
Raising her hand, she guessed, "Did this Superman person fly?" That would be a safe guess. Yeah? Yeah, she thought so. Quote:

What was the point of this again?
Aside from being completely baffled, he didn't know much about the super heroes from the DC Universe. As it was irrelevant to him.
Anyways he politely raised his hand again. "He has super hearing. He can hear wavelengths from long distances." Seth, clearly answered.
This was a 'interesting' lecture? Quote:

Seth earned a sturdy glare from Peyton. Then she flipped her hair, and turned her attention to the front of the class. His NERVE. Hmph!

The kid was teaching? *blink*
She didn't know how to feel about that. Was this...allowed? Was she going to learn properly? Not that it mattered because she preferred to be outside doing something active, rather than sitting inside. Bleeeeh.
Peyton listened to the boy ramble and then turned to Seth, raising her eyebrow as if saying: you've got to be kidding me. She listened and payed attention, though. This was all for a reason, right? Okay, better get participating then. She raised her hand at the kid's next question. "Superman can regenerate from injuries at a very rapid pace." You know, super healing, or whatever you wanted to call it. Quote:

She bit her lip, thought and piped in excitedly. "He can run really really fast...like faster than a Firebolt fast." Yeah that was fast but wasn't it faster than the speed of something or other? Quote:

It was only back on her first year! But...but...just look at that mini Scabior...he was adorable! Just like his Dad. Meh. Bless her mind.
Anyway...too much of that.
Kyroh - that was his name, right? - was holding up a comic book. A muggle something. Her classmates knew so she didn't bother much on raising her hand.
As for Kyroh's next question, Beezus finally snapped out of her 'Kyroh is so cute omg' world and got her hand up to answer. "Aside from those mentioned already, Superman also possess this remarkable recuperative powers that allow him to quickly heal from wounds and makes him immune to all forms of human or Earthly diseases, illnesses, viruses and toxins." Well, yes. She knew a bit about muggle superheroes. How could she not, when her cousin was obsessed with them when they were younger?
Could she pinch Kyroh's cheeks though? Just a quick slight piiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinch? Quote:

Actually she knew that there were three superheros - superman, spideerman and batman yet all she knew was to the extent of what they wore and nothing else - that was until last year.
Sarah knew that answer to that, having taken out things from the library after the first muggle studies last year. She raised her hand, "he has Eidetic Memory,"like she had " he rememberes everything he has come across, be it through reading, hearing or seeing. He can remember a lot of the worlds cultures and languages." Sarah said, smiling at the adorable boy again. How old was he? When was he coming to Hogwarts. Quote:

At least, that's what Elise thought.
Raising her hand, Elise said the only thing that came to mind. "He had the power to make people like him." Well, he appeared to since everyone BUT Elise was so knowledgeable about him. It made Elise feel silly about asking her gran how to operate a telephone instead of learning about superhero comics that started a hundred years ago.
Those were old comics, they were. Quote:

And not just the boy there were also those older people who were the candidates. That's what they were right. Cassia saw stuff hung on the common room noticed board but she still hadn't read it. But she us planning on doing so THIS term. Mhmm.
Anyway, once she finished inspecting she turned her attention to the boy. Who was talking about a superhero. Right that what the lesson was about. It seemed so. The snake as a pureblood wouldn't have recognized the man. But thanks to the muggle of studies professor ,Cassia had heard of this man.
As for his special powers, the thirteen years old paused and tried to search her memory of what she knew about this superman..man. And because her knowledge was poor she raised her hand...out of habbit and spoke. "He has many...Like flying very very fast without a broom." Um...Was that mentioned. She didn't any other but she felt the need to answer. Because she was at class and needed a proof. Quote:

Superman? What did that have to do with History of Magic? Were they gonna get to color? Even though she was muggleborn, Audrey had never really gotten into Superman. She'd read a book on him once, but had never opened an actual comic.
She thought briefly and raised her hand "Hasn't he got really thick skin..literally?" Quote:

Not that he couldn't, but Minerva had never been under the impression he was married, nor he liked kids to be honest.
Trying to shake the shock off her face, Minerva then listened to the little boy. Well he seemed chipper and nice, must get that from his mother. Then her mind started moving to wondering who the mom could be, was it someone they might know, shaking the nosey thoughts out of her head she raised her hand to the question, "It's a superman comic." Were they back in Muggle studies again since they just did comics last term...
Minerva listened to the child again, she glanced around the room. Should Scab's really be letting his son just take over class with these BOG people watching. That didn't seem like a good idea, but it wasn't her class. Shrugging she turned her focus back to the child who was still talking about superman. putting her hand up, "He can fly" It seemed like others got the x-ray vision, so she picked the obvious power he had. Okay then.
She tried to think of something else to say and not repeat what her classmates had already said, but there was nothing else she knew about that superheroe apart from the fact he could fly and that he had super strength. Oh, and that he came from another planet as well. Right? And that he got really weak whenever he was near some green stone!
Ohlook, she actually knew a lot more than she thought about this superdude. Cool! Um... maybe a different fact? "He can make people not recognize him by just wearing a suit and glasses!" Talk about super power! Quote:

He could go on a little more about why Kryptonians needed sunlight, but he didn't want to seem like a total nerd just yet. Quote:

Hope you enjoyed your lunch?
O_____O
Was that supposed to mean something? Erm..odd. The red head blinked a little and then just nodded pretending she thought nothing of it. Maybe it wasn't supposed to mean anything anyways, maybe he really hoped she enjoyed her lunch? It was highly likely she was just over thinking.
Giggle. Renevsmee. She had been nicknamed many things but the way this Erik candidate pronounced her name was just something different. She gave him a nod too, which was supposed to be as a way of saying 'hello". The lesson was about to begin and if there was one teacher Ness knew not to mess with, it was Scabior. She would forever be terrified of him after the note situation. So no talking in his classes, she'd chat later with the candidates..if she had time that was.
STAAAAAARRREEEE!!!
This kid was going to teach them????
Um....SHOCKER! BIG SHOCKER!
It took the Renesmee a whole question to actually realize that this wasn't a joke. Was she alright with it? Kind of, this kid seemed alright so far and he did seem to know quite a bit about superheroes it was just SO weird to have a YOUNGER person to teach you. Hogwarts was clearly the place where things got weirder each day.
Superman powers? Heh. She had to know at least one of these. Problem was Ethan at home was a Spiderman boy and superman was not what she had plenty of knowledge on. Flying was what she wanted to say, but many people had already said that. Pout. "He has the power to make millions adore him."That could count right? Because everything else Nessie could think of had been said. Quote:

Since she had grown up at the wizard's world, she had never really seen or read (or even knew about) any of the superheroes they had. For her, superheros were basically all the super wizards... the wizards that were really really good in what they did. Like Merlin, Dumbledore and... well, her parents.
None of the muggles superheroes were familiar to her, and since they were going to be the subject of the class and it seemed important (even though it was weird for a History of Magic class talk about that kind of muggle stuff), she took off her backpack her notebook and her quill and started taking notes about muggle's comic books, "Superman" and his amazing superpowers. ...Or not, actually. Because Aidan knew nothing about these comics. Or this Superman. It wasn't a good feeling being outsmarted by someone too young to be in the class. So the boy sunk down a little in his seat, making a mental note to brush up on comics after class and hoping he'd be able to make some contribution later. Aw. Kyroh looked out at the class, noticing a few people who looked SAD. They just looked sad. And they didn't answer. Making his way over to three of them he placed a chocolate frog on their desk and gave them each a pat on the arm. "It's okay if you don't know! Don't be sad!" BECAUSE he was teaching them! So they would know! Quote:

Oh, maybe the kid saw her tie. "Yes, I'm a Slytherin," Kat said and nodded at the little boy with a smile. It was weird how she liked this child. She wasn't a fan of children, really.
Kyroh Scabior? Wait... Professor had a son?! But... Professor Schirmer.... What?
Kat seemed to have snapped out of her deep thoughts when she heard the boy speak. Merlin, he was adorable. And then she saw him take one of the... really really thin books on Scabior's table. Showed it to the class. He was teaching it? OH, a superhero. It was easy for the blonde because last term in Muggle Studies, they took up superheroes. Both muggle and magical. Kat raised her hand. "That is superman, right?" she grinned cos she knew the answer. It was... obvious.
The boy was adorable. Seriously adorable. For a girl who didn't like babysitting or kids cos of the noise, Kat liked Kyroh. Plus, the kid gave the class more fun!points despite it being taught by a... seven-ish year old.
Anyway, Superman's powers? MEH, they've all taken the rest. But still, Kat raised her hand. "He has superhuman sense of smell." Like the dogs, only that Superman was awesomer. "He has superhuman everything." That would summarise Superman's abilities, but Kat didn't make it specific so that the rest could ponder for the precise answer. "EVERYONE is right." Kyroh said with a grin. That made him want to spin around in the chair again. Instead he chose to remain standing but still managed a full spin. "But-uh-you-her." He pointed to the girl who first recongized as a Slytherin. "She said it best. He has superhuman everything. He can do all the cool stuff that everyone wants to do. It's like is Superman was your best friend you'd be all happy at first then you'd get kinda sad because everyone would love him and he could do everything but you couldn't so he had more fun than you." Having superman as a best friend would NOT be fun. "So, Superman doesn't walk around with his underwear over his pants all the time. Only when Metropolis needs to be saved. Most of the time he's dressed up like a normal person like you guys or me." Kyroh paused. "But not really like you guys because you guys are wearing robes and Superman doesn't do that." Annnyyyywaaaaays. "When he's ready to save people he's known as Superman. But when he wears normal clothes he has his real name. Which really isn't his real name but we'll just say it is." Was that confusing? Did they understand? "Who knows Superman's real name?" Did they know it? Kyroh was actually doing pretty good considering the fact that he had told him to say whatever he thought was important. As answers were given off, Scabior tabbed his wand against the board creating a list. Superman "Real" Name - ? Powers-- Super Strength
- X-ray vision
- Heat vision
- Can Fly
- Super Speed
- Super hearing
- Rejuvenation
- Eidetic Memory
- Super everything
