He approached the professor and cleared his throat before smiling at him. "Hello Professor Scabior, I'm Nolan Reynolds," he said, extending his hand for a shake. "Board of Governors Candidate. I'm just here to observe today so...where would you like me to go?" he asked with another grin.
Another man entered the room and he didn't appear to be one of the two evaluating him. More viewers. Great. At least this one introduced himself. Shaking the man's hand Scabior offered the smallest of smiles.
Nolan."
Where could the man sit? Uh. Outside maybe? Or- Taking out his wand Scabior conjured a chair that looked oddly like Erik's, comfortable. Unlike the other two. "You can take a seat over there."

"Congrats on making Deputy Headmaster." He turned to grab a seat when a little boy spinning around in one of those office chairs ordered him to do so?...Why was there a little kid in class? "Yes Sir." The Hufflepuff said playfully to the child and grabbed a seat in the middle of the class.

He looked around and noticed two more faces that didn't seem like the belonged in the class. Board of Governors Candidates Oakey thought to himself. As he eyed the two of them, then turned his attention back to the front of class .
Right. He was Deputy now. "Thank you Mister Gunter."

"Hullo, Professor, and congrats on your Deputy thing," she greeted, not taking her eyes off of the boy in the chair. "And.. hello to you, too.. person." After beaming at both of them, she chose a desk in the corner and began to examine the materials. Paper.. pencils.. more drawing, possibly?

As she waited for more people to come in, she moved on to STARE at the professor and the little boy. This was going to be an interesting lesson.
Deputy thing....that was the reason these kids were in school. To learn not to put 'thing' at the end of whatever they were saying"Thank you."

When she finally came through the door and entered the classroom, she heard Scabior announcing that they'd wait a few more minutes for others to arrive before getting started.

Whew. She'd made it.

She barely had time to look around the room, though. As she slid into her seat, she did notice the little boy Scabior had brought along. Wait...she knew that boy! "Hey, Kyroh," she said, remembering that Christmas she'd spent with the boy.
So many people! He didn't know so many kids could even fit into one room! Still spinning Kyroh blinked when he heard his name. Huh? OHOHOHOOH! SIERRA!! "Sierra! Hiiii!!!" Grinning Kyroh stopped the chair and almost went over to give her a hug, but he couldn't! They were in class.

And the other because this was Hogwarts, and things were just supposed to be better here than anywhere else.

Mo paused as he entered the doorway, arms akimbo as he considered the boy spinning in the chair. "'Lo there. You're teaching this class, are you? Maybe you can let me try spinning in that chair later, okay? It looks like the perfect spinning chair, and I've never seen a perfect spinning chair before."

From there, Mo glanced at the actual professor with a tilt of his head. "Good afternoon, Professor. My sister sends her regards even though you tried to kill her last term." And he went to find his seat.
Still surprised that he had seen Kyroh ANOTHER surprise came. This boy knew! Kyroh simply beamed. "I AM how'd you know? I'll let you try if you give the right answers."

Er-Scabior blinked at the boy. "Try and kill her?" Pssh. Like he failed at any tasks. If he had wanted to kill the old Headmistresses daughter he woudn't fail at it. Scabior was just not about to say that with potential board members in the room.

Only problem was that - as he discovered the moment he entered the room - Lainey no longer was teaching them. Whatever happened to that woman, he'll never know, but he was quite fond of her lessons.

Gazing around the room, he took in the scene, as he noted where he should potential sit. Oh; there was Erik back there ... he remembered that guy from the feast, which meant, he had to sit on those rickety chairs? Giving a look of dismay toward the Professor guy at the front of the room, he was so far unimpressed. Even if he did bring an adorable child with him to try and make him look good with kids or whatever.

With a long sigh, he set off toward the back of the room and nodded politely at Erik, as he made a quick flick of his wand to conjure some seat cushions for one of the chairs, then taking a seat.
Oh look! Another board member! It was becoming routine and Scabior didn't even care what the man was there for. Either way he had to go on with his lesson.

Checking his watch one final time he flicked his wand closing the door. "Afternoon everyone." Standing up from his seat Scabior moved toward the spinning chair and rested a hand on it stopping it instantly. "Today our lesson will be a little bit different then usual. As you can see we have some board candidates at the back." He motioned to them. "Please don't distract them and they won't distract you." Got it? Good. "We also have this one here-" He motioned to the boy on the now un-spinning chair. "This is Kyroh Scabior. My son." If the last name didn't tip them off. "And he is here for a reason." But they would realize that soon enough.

"I've said this before and I will continue to say this again, History of Magic is a complex class. But really from the name it's self you are given the gist of the subject. And for the majority of classes we learn of the history through textbooks. For this class that is not the case."

An IMPORTANT reason! The important reason was now right? Starting now. Alright. Sliding off the chair, Kyroh ran to his father's desk and grabbed one of the thin books. "Who knows what THIS is?"

OOC: Class has started so, act like you've been here the whole time if you wish to join! And I'd encourage you to!
