Smack dab in the middle of the day, History of Magic may not be the class you want after enjoying a relaxing lunch break but want it or not, it’s what you have. Making your way into the classroom the first thing that hits you is the nice cool breeze coming from the open windows.
At the back of the classroom, away from the last row of desks, happen to be two extremely old chairs. They appear as though they may be on the verge of breaking, but they must be there for a reason.
The desks have been arranged in their normal positions, two side by side. The only real difference happens to be small stack of papers on each desk along with an individual pack of coloured pencils.
As your eyes quickly dart to the front of the classroom you’ll notice that Scabior isn’t in his normal spot leaning against his desk, that would be quite a hard task considering the number of thin books stacked on his desk. Instead he sits behind it, like an actual respectable professor. He however, is not the only one at the front.
Sitting cross legged on a desk chair with wheels is a boy who looks slightly too young to even go to the school. He is continuously spinning around in circles until he catches sight of you, stops, and grins. “HELLLOO! Sit down, sit sit!”
OOC: Class has started! You are welcome to jump in just pretend like your charrie has been there all along! Class will begin in like...20 hours . Please familiarize yourself with the updated classroom rules. Your characters can chat, eat cookies, do a rain dance. Just remember Scabior is there, and SS and RPG rules apply.

"Comic book, tiny Professor," Mo offered, quite helpfully. "It's a Muggle one about an alien that looks like a human who likes to run around saving people. That one is really old, too. Definitely a historical document, even if it's fictional." It gave insight into the people and times in which it was created, right?

Once again, there was more than one adult in his lesson. What was this madness? They were creepy...and making the Slytherin uncomfortable.
Outsiders. SHOO.
Trying his best to ignore them, he focused on what Professor Scabior was saying. History of Magic really wasn't that complex...but that was just his opinion. History didn't change. Therefore, it was a cycle of relearning the same things over and over again...Also, Kyroh was his son?! Eyeing the child, Dylan tried to decide if he looked anything like Professor Schirmer...Yea, not so much...
That answered that question.
...And then Kyroh was speaking. The Slytherin Captain had to admit...he was a rather cute child...
COMIC BOOKS!!
It was rather hard to contain his excitement. Comics...where totally Dylan's thing! "Kyroh, THAT is a comic book...and it's got Superman on it." Meh, not his favorite series of comics, mind...but he wasn't too fussy. "Got any X-Men up there?"

"Right! It is!" Good job! Kyroh ran up to the boy and reached into his pocket. Pulling out a chocolate frog he placed it on the boys desk.

Breathe Oakey, Breathe, maybe the kid will let you see it later on.
Huh. Turning the comic around so he could look at it, Kyroh nodded. He hadn't looked at it when he picked it up from the pile. "You're right! It's that too. But I was just wanted you to say comic." That was okay. Kyroh walked over giving him a chocolate frog as well.

"It's a muggle comic book," she answered in the most deadpan voice possible. Really, she thought this class was supposed to be History of Magic, not History of What You're Actually Supposed to Learn in Muggle Studies.
Kyroh frowned. "It is. And you're suppose to be happy about it! Because the people inside SAVE people! From bad stuff." She didn't want bad stuff to happen did she?

Scabior didn't interrupt as his son addressed the class. In fact he moved to his desk, and dragged the chair from behind it to beside it, then took a seat.
Running back up to the front Kyroh grinned. "I never knew your class was so smart!" Really! They had to be right? Because a lot of them knew about Superman. "So-" He took a deep breath. "My papa brought me here today because he knows about comics but I know more." He DID! Just about comics though, nothing else. "And he wanted to talk about comics. I think. So i'm going to talk a little bit about comics and ask questions and stuff for a little while, and then he'll just sit here and talk later about history." Or when he wanted to talk. "That's okay with you guys right?" Kyroh looked at the class and blinked, and then he waved at Sierra once more. He didn't really wait for a reply.

Wow, this kid knew more about Superman than Aurora did... not that that was exactly hard, Aurora much preferred Iron man.........
She was just grinning at the kid as he spoke, he was so CLEVER! And he clearly loved comics... which was always a good thing!
"He has x-ray vision!" Aurora said, raising her hand and beaming a little more. She'd LOVE x-ray vision. 'Cause then you could see into people's heads and see what they were thinking and you wouldn't have to study or anything... right?
Or was that just legilimency..? Hmm... well, words and studying were Aurora's kryptonite, so she had no idea...

WIN. Professor Scabior's son had X-Men Comics. Gah...Dylan felt validated in his love for them, now...
Back to Superman, though. Once again, they weren't his favorite...but anyone and everyone knew about him. He was like the STAPLE Comicbook Superhero.
"Faster than a speeding bullet...SUPER speed, I mean."
The Slytherin was pleased with these lessons starting lessons. First Thor...and now this...

Okay...this was weird.
She had come to History of Magic not Muggle Studies...right? After all Ellura admitted she was still learning her way around and could have made the mistake. And she certainly hadn't expected to be talking about comic books and superheros in a class about magic.
But no...Professor Scabior had indeed said history of magic so it was the right class, it just threw her for a loop. And seeing as she was aware of things more muggle than magical, including the topic at hand, Ellura raised her hand to answer the pro--boy. "He has the ability to see through solid things."

Rachel was feeling slightly dumb, and that was not a normal feeling for her.
Since she had grown up at the wizard's world, she had never really seen or read (or even knew about) any of the superheroes they had. For her, superheros were basically all the super wizards... the wizards that were really really good in what they did. Like Merlin, Dumbledore and... well, her parents.
None of the muggles superheroes were familiar to her, and since they were going to be the subject of the class and it seemed important (even though it was weird for a History of Magic class talk about that kind of muggle stuff), she took off her backpack her notebook and her quill and started taking notes about muggle's comic books, "Superman" and his amazing superpowers.
Amelia just giggled when Kyroh lifted up the comic book. He already had a gold star of awesome in her book. Seriously comic books were genius.
"That's a comic book!" She smiled, "And its a first edition of the revamp from 2011" geek should have been writen across her forhead right then. Right. Well it would have been true.
When were they going to read them eh? She wanted to start right now - or make her own Hero...who was her hero?

Melody tried to be patient and wait till they revealed the point in this lesson. She started to twirl her hair. Even though she knew she had to wait she just wasn't getting the importance of this. Unless superman was somehow based off a magic folk. Superman's powers? What was going on? How would she know anything like that.
Erik nodded to Rose when he sat down, then turned his attention back to the front of the class. The professor had had to conjure a chair for Nolan, aw. How cute. He stifled a chuckle and waited for whoever was teaching this lesson to begin.
Apparently, the child was doing the teaching today. All right then. Erik was confused about what these comic books had to do with the Hogwarts' curriculum, but then he hadn't attended this school. Perhaps it was customary for the Brits to fill their heads with useless knowledge that came out of any book. Perhaps that was the case.
He settled back into his seat and folded his arms. The verdict so far: not impressed..

Oh. Look. The little boy was holding up a Muggle comic. Alice didn't answer the boy's first question, but she did answer the second. Did she have to raise her hand to answer Kyroh? She wasn't sure, but she did, anyways, just to be sure. "He has heat vision, too, mini professor. Superman can emit solar energy from his eyes and such." He was kind of AWESOME, wasn't he? Of course, the Hulj was cooler. The Hulk smashed things, which automatically made him number one on the fourth year's list. But she supposed Superman could be a close second.

Okay, so Selina was RIGHTFULLY really confused by this whole lesson. She wasn't really that in tune with Muggle information besides what her Mom's dad, so her grandfather, had exposed her to, being a Muggle himself. So BASICALLY, her knowledge was very limited. But she had heard a lot of her friends go on and on about superheroes enough that she knew the general gist of who they were and what they did. This Superman guy, who sounded kind of cool from what everyone else was saying, had superpowers. And when she thought of super powers ONE thing came to her mind.
The redhead could not be sure if this Superman character actually had this power or not, but it was worth a shot to guess. What was the worst that happened? She was wrong? Although, in Scabior's class that was a pretty terrifying concept. Guy could be REALLY scary if he wanted to be. Also, she wasn't a Slytherin... so...
Raising her hand, she guessed, "Did this Superman person fly?" That would be a safe guess. Yeah? Yeah, she thought so.
Seth sighed and sarcastically smiled at her. Though deep down he was content of seeing her.
He furred his brows, shook his head and let out a small smirk. "I've been in the library, genius." Seth replied.
Wow! Peyton was actually in class? What, since when was this happening?
"You're in class? Wwwwoooowwwww! That's a shocker!" The young Lion, teased the red-headed, snake.
Oh, so he's been in the library ALL this time. Booo! That was BORING. Peyton just nodded slowly, but soon narrowed her eyes at him. It was NOT shocking to see Peyton in class. She attended them ALL, but she couldn't voice that because the lesson had begun.
Seth earned a sturdy glare from Peyton. Then she flipped her hair, and turned her attention to the front of the class. His NERVE. Hmph!
- - - -
The kid was teaching? *blink*
She didn't know how to feel about that. Was this...allowed? Was she going to learn properly? Not that it mattered because she preferred to be outside doing something active, rather than sitting inside. Bleeeeh.
Peyton listened to the boy ramble and then turned to Seth, raising her eyebrow as if saying: you've got to be kidding me. She listened and payed attention, though. This was all for a reason, right? Okay, better get participating then. She raised her hand at the kid's next question. "Superman can regenerate from injuries at a very rapid pace." You know, super healing, or whatever you wanted to call it.
What could Superman do? Die when Kryptonite was present? She was trying hard to think of an unlisted fact of Superman's awesomeness when she just bit her lip and thought for a moment. What awesomeness could he not do?
She bit her lip, thought and piped in excitedly. "He can run really really fast...like faster than a Firebolt fast." Yeah that was fast but wasn't it faster than the speed of something or other?

As for Kyroh's next question, Beezus finally snapped out of her 'Kyroh is so cute omg' world and got her hand up to answer. "Aside from those mentioned already, Superman also possess this remarkable recuperative powers that allow him to quickly heal from wounds and makes him immune to all forms of human or Earthly diseases, illnesses, viruses and toxins." Well, yes. She knew a bit about muggle superheroes. How could she not, when her cousin was obsessed with them when they were younger?
Could she pinch Kyroh's cheeks though? Just a quick slight piiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinch?

So i'm going to talk a little bit about comics and ask questions and stuff for a little while, and then he'll just sit here and talk later about history." Or when he wanted to talk. That was how it worked right?
"That's okay with you guys right?" Kyroh looked at the class and blinked, and then he waved at Sierra once more. He didn't really wait for a reply.
"So like that boy-the Slytherin looking one-" He held his hand out pointing to West "Said first, this is a Muggle comic. And then like THAT boy-" Cue pointed finger at Oakey. "Said-it's a Superman comic." Both those boys were smart. Kyroh liked them.
"Superman is a superhero. And you know...superheroes are heroes...that are super. Because superheros are so special they get their own BOOKS millions of them, like this one-called comic books." Just because they were so special. "There are so many superheroes. More than anyone can count I think, but in the muggle world there are three heroes that everyone knows." EVERYONE. Even babies. Not that he spoke to babies. Babies didn't speak, but they still knew! "The first one is Superman." He held up the comic again. "He wears his underwear over his pants and they are blue so everyone remembers him." Thats how THEY could remember him too! "So, being a superhero, Superman, saves people. And has powers. Does anyone know some of Superman's powers?""
Actually she knew that there were three superheros - superman, spideerman and batman yet all she knew was to the extent of what they wore and nothing else - that was until last year.
Sarah knew that answer to that, having taken out things from the library after the first muggle studies last year. She raised her hand, "he has Eidetic Memory,"like she had "he rememberes everything he has come across, be it through reading, hearing or seeing. He can remember a lot of the worlds cultures and languages." Sarah said, smiling at the adorable boy again. How old was he? When was he coming to Hogwarts.

Elise just stared blankly at Professor Scabior, before shifting her blank stare towards the child. Was she in Muggle Studies or History of Magic? What did this Superman even have to do with History of Magic anyway? He was some dream a Muggle had. Right?
At least, that's what Elise thought.
Raising her hand, Elise said the only thing that came to mind. "He had the power to make people like him." Well, he appeared to since everyone BUT Elise was so knowledgeable about him. It made Elise feel silly about asking her gran how to operate a telephone instead of learning about superhero comics that started a hundred years ago.
Laura didn't like the sound of someone having x-ray vision, she raised her hand "Professor does Superman really have X-ray vision and can he see through everything?" Laura hoped not, surely there must be something that she could hide behind if she ever saw him. "Professor I think maybe he can fly." Laura didn't know much about this guy but was he a wizard or something to be learning about this in History of Magic.

While sitting down, Kat returned back Scabior's tiny smile at her. Well, that was rare. And didn't happen all the time. But the blonde's attention was brought to the little boy in front.
Oh, maybe the kid saw her tie. "Yes, I'm a Slytherin," Kat said and nodded at the little boy with a smile. It was weird how she liked this child. She wasn't a fan of children, really.

As you can see we have some board candidates at the back." He motioned to them. "Please don't distract them and they won't distract you." Got it? Good. "We also have this one here-" He motioned to the boy on the now un-spinning chair. "This is Kyroh Scabior. My son." If the last name didn't tip them off. "And he is here for a reason." But they would realize that soon enough.
"I've said this before and I will continue to say this again, History of Magic is a complex class. But really from the name it's self you are given the gist of the subject. And for the majority of classes we learn of the history through textbooks. For this class that is not the case."
An IMPORTANT reason! The important reason was now right? Starting now. Alright. Sliding off the chair, Kyroh ran to his father's desk and grabbed one of the thin books. "Who knows what THIS is?"
Kyroh Scabior? Wait... Professor had a son?! But... Professor Schirmer.... What?
Kat seemed to have snapped out of her deep thoughts when she heard the boy speak. Merlin, he was adorable. And then she saw him take one of the... really really thin books on Scabior's table. Showed it to the class. He was teaching it? OH, a superhero. It was easy for the blonde because last term in Muggle Studies, they took up superheroes. Both muggle and magical. Kat raised her hand. "That is superman, right?" she grinned cos she knew the answer. It was... obvious.

The boy was adorable. Seriously adorable. For a girl who didn't like babysitting or kids cos of the noise, Kat liked Kyroh. Plus, the kid gave the class more fun!points despite it being taught by a... seven-ish year old.
Anyway, Superman's powers? MEH, they've all taken the rest. But still, Kat raised her hand. "He has superhuman sense of smell." Like the dogs, only that Superman was awesomer. "He has superhuman everything." That would summarise Superman's abilities, but Kat didn't make it specific so that the rest could ponder for the precise answer.
