Yep, Alyssa was right. "That one is Martin Miggs and he's very strange." The things he said? Like... what? Sophie had tried reading a story once and she got lost on the first page. She had never read Loony Nonby before though, so she didn't really knew much about that one. Quote:

And for a brief moment, Beezus wondered if he was a pureblood, who his mother was, and if Professor Scabior got married in the past, or if the young boy would like to consider learning how to be an animagi so he can become a spider just as he hoped. She didn't have any answers to those though so she brushed off the thoughts afterwards.

And then Professor Scabior was taking the spot. BUT...BUT...KYROOOOOOHH!!

"One is Loony Nonby from the comic Loony Nonby vs. Cornish Pixie and the other one would be Martin Miggs, he is the main character of that other comic book," That one...yeah, the other one. Belle saw the comics the professor was holding. She read them sometimes at breakfast. Belle knew the Loony Nonby vs. Cornish Pixie one he was holding. Belle raised her hand, "Professor, the one reading Loony Nonby, the main character is Loony Nonby right?" Belle asked. She was not so familiar with the comic. Sometimes she skimmed right through.

Now they were going to look at Wizarding ones...Meh, Dylan wasn't as familiar with these. He recognized Martin Miggs...but not the other. Who was Looney Nonby? Hmph. Sounded like a rather stupid title...Not nearly as cool as the muggle comics.
WHEN were they going to look at X-MEN? "Martin Miggs, Sir." He'd asked for the main characters names...

The Professor held up some comic books she actually knew a little bit about. It was still only a small amount since she didn't really read comics at all. They just weren't her thing.
Susan raised her hand, "Those comics are about Martin Miggs and Loony Nonby." Susan couldn't really go into to much more detail than that since she never really did read the comics. But she did read the cover of them just now, so did that count for something? Quote:

After taking a careful look she raised her hand. "Martin Miggs and Loony Nonby, right?" Will had a whole bunch of their comics...she wasn't sure whether or not he still read them though; now a days he just kept saying how grown up he was, bleh. Quote:

Martin was so much better than Nonby. Kyroh lowered his water bottle and looked at the class before sneaking one of the wizard comics from the desk and starting to real. Hehe. The comics themselves are titled The Adventures of Martin Miggs, the Mad Muggle, and Loony Nonby vs. Cornish Pixie. The most popular ones in the Wizarding World. "One is about a crazy Muggle an the other a guy facing off against a pixie, and losing the majority of the time." Scabior paused for a few seconds to throw one of the books back on his desk. "And just like Mr. Odessa said, they are not superheroes." So WHY were they talking about them?
"Despite that fact. The number of people who actually read these comics in the Wizarding world are almost identical to the number of Muggles who read those-" He motioned to the board. "-comics. And yet they are not about people who can fly, or who have heat vision or who can climb walls, or who have a lot of money."
"Using the same medium-" i.e comics "-Yet in a completely different way." He was speaking slowly, just so they could get everything he was saying. "Now any guesses as to why both are able to sell in their respective communities? Why don't Muggles have comics about crazy Muggles? And why don't we have comics about men that can fly?"
