Ella walked alongside Harvey, folding her arms across her chest to help retain some kind of warmth. The weather was still quite cold though the fresh air felt good after being inside for so long. She took a deep breath and sighed happily, letting the cold air fill her lungs. Looking at her friend out of the corner of her eye, she noted that Harvey seemed to be thinking about things. She wanted to ask him what was on his mind but decided against it. Instead, she decided that they should play a game.

"Hey Harvs, I'm going to ask you a question and then you answer it and end whatever you say in a question, okay?" Just another way Ella thought they could get to know eachother. "The creature I'm most afraid of is a skrewt, which one scares you the most?"

He walked along with Ella along the pathways, happy just being here when she suddenly asked him a question.. it sounded like some kind of game "Yeah ok.. sure" he smiled as he listened for her question, oh so this was one of those games where they could get to know each other. What scared him the most? mmm "I am afraid of the same creature. What is your favourite creature?" he asked her since they were going with the whole creature thing.. he hadnt been sure of what he was afraid of but having thought about the skrewts he had to agree with Ella

Ella looked at Harvey, surprised. So he was afraid of skrewts too, huh? Take that Edric! See? Skrewts were pretty scary. She bet if she asked Oakey he would agree about the Skrewts too. As for what her favorite creature was, that was a tough one. "If we're talking magical creatures, the Aethonons are my favorite. What's your favorite non-magical creature?" Ella's was easy enough to guess, what with her love of Peanut the elephant topiary and all.

Harvey saw her surprised look.. what he couldn't be afraid of them too.. it was either them or the dark creatures that had come up in classes they sounded quite scary but luckily he hadn't come across them, so it was skrewts at the moment. "Oh yeah those are cool! good choice!... oh right my turn.. umm favourite non-magical creature? that would be.. mm.. umm.. ooo this is tough I mean there are many!! ok umm I will choose the arctic leopard." yeah those were really cool in Harvey's mind "What is your favourite color?" as far as he could remember they hadn't come across that, or he just had a bad memory.

Ella watched Harvey curiously as he decided on his favorite animal. It was hard, she guessed, for people who had several animals in the running. It had never been that way for her, though. Ever since she was four elephants had been her number one. She was sure it would always be that way. She smiled at his choice. An arctic leopard? That was quite cool. "Interesting choice, Harvey. I don't think I've ever seen one of those! ...and my favorite color? Well it would have to be green...but not like pea green! Bleh! More like shamrock green. What's yours?"

Harvey smiled "Thanks." he said as she found his choice of animal interesting, even he had found them interesting when he first found out they actually existed! He then listened as she told him about her favourite color.. wow that was a nice choice too .. that was a really good color! next it was his turn to answer "Nice color choice Ella.. so I cant choose that now.. cause its your favourite color.." he chuckled his favourite color.. yellow for puffs or blue for claws.. it was a tough choice "I guess it would have to be.. blue.. closely followed by the shamrock gree of course!" he smiled.. as he backed out on saying yellow.. he didn't want to make it too weird.. so blue was a safe choice. Time for him to ask a question "Do you have a favourite gem? if yes what is it? could be a birthstone or something" he asked.. wondering where that question had come from .. cause he was certainly not thinking about it.. but it was asked now so he couldn't back out.

Alright didn't sound good? 'Course, it didn't sound good because her Christmas wasn't good at all. Christmas had just reminded how things with her family were really bad and that they would never be able to work things out. Evelyn wasn't going to voice her thoughts though..Ellie wasn't the sort of person you could talk to about family problems. So. No comment.

Evelyn smiled slightly when she noticed the expression on Ellie's face. Heh. The Ravenclaw looked really happy for a change. Looked like her holidays had gone really well. But then..she mentioned Trey. And the fact that she'd seen him. The smile on her face immediately disappeared. Obviously, Evelyn should have seen it coming. Ellie was his girlfriend after all. "That's great." She gave a faint smile. No. No, she wasn't jealous at all. Acting? Didn't Trey say something about wanting to be an actor? "Is he good?" A good actor, that is.

Hm? "Nothing really. I got some studying done...I suppose." Evelyn said, with a light shrug.

Ella smiled. "You're welcome." She had meant what she said. It was definitely a cool choice as far as animals went. It was unique, which Ella could appreciate. She liked unique things. It was her turn to thank him when he complimented her choice in colors. "Thanks. I think it' a pretty awesome choice too." She said, laughing. She watched as he seemed to weigh his options again. They were different in that way. While Harvey considered what he was going to say before he said it, Ella pretty much knew her answers right away...though he was a Ravenclaw. Maybe that was one of their things? "Blue huh? Well blue is an awesome color." She said sincerely. She was going to say it wasn't as cool as shamrock green but he beat her to it by mentioning the same color next. "Woah. You a mind reader or something, Harvs?" Seriously, he wasn't right? That could make things awkward. "Wait...that wasn't my question for you though, and to answer yours..." What was her favorite gem? Ella wasn't sure she had one. Though she did like Turquoise...that was a gem, yeah? "I'm gonna say Turquoise. It's really pretty. How about you, Harvs? Your favorite?"

Fin paused for a moment. He looked at the girl. "I shouldn't be saying that because people think I'm VERY weird and I agree with them." he nodded. So it's not because of being a vegan. Well that made a lot more sense to him but he always thought that vegans were those muggle hippie types. No that there was anything wrong with being a hippie. He knew a couple of hippies and they were pretty cool.

Fin smiled. "I played a harmless that hurt NOBODY and then I got beat up and kicked out." Water balloon's weren't hurtful. They weren't even totally full and he got expelled anyways but oh well that was the past and not he was at his favorite place EVER....Hogwarts where there were people just like him...awesome...well not everyone was awesome but he could help the be awesome.

He smiled as she said that she thought it was a pretty awesome choice, well of course it was it was her choice. He smiled as she called hi schoice of color awesome too well it as was for a claw, "Thanks" he the chuckled as she asked him if he was a mind reader "Erm no I am not, why do you say that? " he asked confused as to why she would ask that, had she though the same thing that he had. He then chuckled as she said that wasn't Howe question to him "Oh sorry I thought it was, so what's your question to me then?" he asked as she answered his question that he had thrown out there. He then answered her question about his favourite gem, he had liked once certain gem cause of it's name which sounded really cool to him "My favourite gem is the tanzanite, but the turquoise is also a very good gem nice color of it. " he smiled why hadn't he thought of the turquoise when he had decided on his favourite gem long ago. Well at least there was someone who liked that gem if he didn't have it as his favourite.

Ella smiled at Harvey though her eyebrows were raised. She could tell he was confused about her mind reading comment but she was being completely serious. "Are you sureeee?" She said, leaning forward a bit to study his face, as if she could actually tell he was a mind reader by his expression or something. "I guess I believe you though that was quite strange. You mentioned liking shamrock green too just as I was about to comment on you not liking that color." And so clearly her first thought was that he could read minds...clearly. SHRUG. And she took several steps back now, realizing she was quite close to her friend again. "Tanzanite...that's the bluish gem, right?" Ella asked, curious. As for him liking her choice, that made her smile. "Glad you like it. So what's your question for me?" Since he had just answered hers.

Harvey nodded as she asked him if he was sure, she was the leaning into him to study his face, did she not realise how close she was right now? Apparently not! He smiled as she said her next comment now it made kore sense why she thought that he was a mind reader "I am not a mind reader I was just commenting on your choice of color that's all" man imagine if he was a mind reader that would be so creepy knowing what was going on in your best friend's mind without wanting to. He then watched as she moved a little away, not as close as she was before. He then chuckled and nodded "Yes it is, wow just realised my favourite gem's color is my favourite color" he had never realised that before, he didn't how he hadn't realised that before. As for his question for her.. mmm what did he want it ask her next?.. What else had he not asked her? Oo.. "I don't know when your birthday is, so that's my question, when is Ella Bishop's birthday?" he asked chuckling as he used her full name, for some reason it was sometimes fun to use those names instead of Ella.

Nope. Ella did not realize how close she was to Harvey's face. She was solely focused on trying to see into his mind which was actually quite funny since she had been the one to accuse him of mind reading. It wasn't working though, she couldn't tell anything from studying him like this...

Now that she was back on her side of the path, Ella listened as Harvey mused over his latest discovery. "That's a cool coincidence...maybe that's why you like tanzanite, because it's your favorite color?" Seemed like a perfectly logical theory to Ella.

Ella smiled. She knew that question would eventually come up, especially since they were meant to be best friends now. "My birthday is September tenth." A date which always came and went way too fast. "And your birthday, Harvey Watson?" See? Ella could play that game too!

Harvey listened to Ella's theory and nodded "Yeah I agree maybe that's why I like it. Smart girl Ella" he chuckled.. before he realised what he said "Not that I was implying that you weren't smart before, cause you are..... " he decided to stop talking, he didnt want her to get upset over his mistake. He didn't know what had made him say that, if he could take it back he would but it had been said now.

He smiled as she told him of her birthday, before realising that he had missed it since they werent close at the time "I missed your birthday?! Not good!" he chuckled as he joked a little. He was kinda bummed that he has missed her birthday, but they didn't know each other at the time. He smiled some more as she asked his "Mine is April sixth" he smiled..it was his turn to ask a question... Mmm.. "Favourite place in Diagon? " he asked her as he quickly tried to think of one in case she might ask him.

Tiffany has been very busy with packing all the stuff and presents for her friends after the vacation, even till now she has not sent all of them out yet. Well, it would not be too late for people getting Christmas New Year presents from her in this lovely February right?

She stood along the pathway with a bag in her hand. He wasn't there yet. She stared at the blue sky. It was her time to meet the sire who was getting busier and busier year by year. Tiffany could hardly come across him except in class which made her miss him so badly. So it was worth waiting for him.

Looking at her watch, she waited as she took a little peek at her two presents, hoping that one of them would not have melt.

Aurora grinned and giggled slightly, "There's nothing wrong with being weird." she said, flicking her hair out of her eyes - she was going to have to get that cut... Being weird was fun... though Aurora wasn't often accused of it. She still enjoyed being silly sometimes.

Harmless? Aurora raised her eyebrows. Why would he get kicked out if it was harmless? "You got beat up?" she said with wide eyes. "Why on Earth did you get beat up?" What did he do? That was totally not fair... whatever he did probably wasn't THAT bad... right?

Fin shrugged and smiled. "I know there is nothing wrong with being weird but I already know I am." he laughed. Finbar loved being weird it was who he was and if that changed then the end of the world would be near. Being someone he's not is not a good thing. Be who you are and not who you're not.

Fin nodded, stupid French school. He didn't want to go there in the first place he knew that it was going to be stupid and dumb and all that other stuff. "Yes I did. Oh the professors were watching me get beat up becuase they said that they don't tolerate any funny business at Beauxbations." he mocked the head mistress with a French accent. "It was a small water balloon joke and it didn't even get anything went in the school it was outside on the grounds." Fin half smiled.

Hufflepuff eh? Then Emma didn't know of an Ed in the Hufflepuff house. She had met an Ed in the Gryffindor house last year. "Hmm.. I thought that I may have met him but I don't think I have. Is he a good partner in crime?" she asked with a smirk playing upon her lips as she met the shorter girl's glance. "Yes, we did. Candy is a huge distraction. A huge delicious distraction. True, both Kent and Clarke were there so things were hectic," explained Emma, shrugging her shoulders nonchalantly. Eh, it was alright. Selena and her would have a better meeting next time. They always did. The two seventh years were the Crazytastic Besties!

Emma's brown eyes grew wider and she gave Alice a brief hug. "Yes, well there was a big misunderstanding on both sides of the fight but its all worked out. But thank you, that's really sweet of you and I would hate to see you upset too. If your ever upset or if anything goes wrong, just let me know and I'll always be there for you," began Emma before adding with a warm smile. It had been a complicated situation between Braeden, Ruby, and her; however, Braeden and her had managed to work it out. "I promise. Pranksters have to stick together even if we are from rival houses," she teased with another warm grin. Merlin... She would miss Alice next year so much. Emma laughed at what Alice said next and shook her head. "Well, maybe it is but some wise person once said that sometimes you can learn the most from someone younger than you."

"No, she didn't," added Emma, a frown forming on her lips as she shook her head. Nope. Selena did not agree. In fact, her best friend had said that she was never going to go near a textbook. Merlin's Beard. Emma wondered how her friend could be so relaxed when the biggest exams of their life were on the horizon. A small smile appeared on Emma's lips, wiping away the frown quickly. "Aww thank you, Alice. I really do hope so. I'm crossing my fingers," she teased with a wide grin.

"I agree with you there. I believe that the duck ponds and pathways are way more important. The Hufflepuff Prefects will be able to work themselves out, I'm sure," Emma added with her signature Malfoy smirk playing upon her lip. "So what has convinced you to include the duck ponds and pathways into your idea of world domination?" she asked, raising a blonde eyebrow at her younger companion.

The Malfoy nodded her head. Grinning like a madwoman now (or perhaps she was just very excited? We'd never know), "Yes, I can. I used to play that position all the time. A Giant Quidditch Match in the holidays? That sounds like a lot of fun! Count me in!" added Emma, enthusiastically. A Quidditch Match would be amazing! Smirking as Alice asked her about Selena and Quidditch, "Yes, Selena still doesn't play. Believe me, I have tried so hard to get her on a broomstick. My partner in crime, Nikolas, and I made up a whole scheme to get her to go on one. We charmed a broom to make it look as if the broom was made out of candy but we ran out of time to actually put it in front of Sel and see what would happen," she admitted with a small smile. "But, Selena's never going to get on a broom. She does not like flying at all. But perhaps she'd agree to be the referee though I think we may have to convince her with a huge bag of candy!" added Emma, winking at Alice with a wicked grin.

Winter is almost over and now the snow is starting to melt already. Not that Jonathan was excited for spring and summer. Spring just gives him runny noses while summer is just sweaty and disgusting. Not very favorable. But he'll just have to deal with it, it's not like he can do something about mother nature or something right?

Jonathan walked outside because he got a note from Tiffany the other day that she wanted to see him... and on Valentines' Day too. As soon as he reached the place, he saw her standing and most likely waiting for his arrival. As he got nearer, he waved his hand and smiled apologetically to her. "Have you been waiting long?" he didn't mean to be late. "How are you?"

"Yep!" Alice grinned. "He's a very good partner in crime. And we're getting a third partner in crime, she's a 'Claw, and we're meeting up in the Courtyard soon. I really like both of them, but I don't know what I'll do if they don't like each other. Did you ever have to worry about that kind of stuff while working with all your Slytherclaw buddies?" The lioness couldn't stop herself from laughing when her friend mentioned Selena's menagerie of pets. "She drags them around everywhere. I like the crup, but Kent bothers me. And Sellie won't talk to me now because Domino tried to eat him." It wasn't her fault! Kent was brightly coloured, and looked kind of like food. And Domino would eat anything.

Alice hugged Emma back, and then rolled her eyes. "Boys are too much drama. I think I'm going to marry my owl when I grow up," the lioness decided. She was not going to have a boyfriend. Ever. "Well. That young person statement is extremely true, 'cause I don't know how many important things I've taught my elders. Like to stay away from me." The girl grinned. Heh. She wasn't sure if it was a joke, but it was kind of also true. No one wanted SuperGlue in their hair.. which reminded her.. "Emma, have you been to the Kite-Making station down at the grounds? They have tubs and tubs of glue down there. AND CANDY." The little girl's eyes widened as she spoke. It was like heaven.

"I don't think Selena will ever consent to studying," Alice decided. "Do you think the professors will let her take Clarke and Kent into the exam rooms? 'Cause I don't think she's ever been away from them. I wouldn't be surprised if she took Kent to the loo. But what if Kent ended up falling in the toilet bowl?" Ohkay. Bad image. But the third year still guessed that it would be a better end than getting eaten by her owl. "Have you gotten to spend as much time with Selena, now that she is Head Girl?" she inquired. It must have been horrible if you had to sacrifice your friends for putting kiddies in detention. Hmph.

The girl laughed. The Hufflepuff Prefects were actually one of her biggest concerns. But. The Asylums would have to wait. "Well, I like duck ponds. I pushed a boy into one just yesterday! It was a good idea, except for the fact that he was pretending he couldn't swim." Yes. Edric Barlow, a.k.a. Scrooge. He deserved it. Plus, it was kind of funny to see him flailing. He wasn't so bad after all.. well, that was, until he pushed her in as well.. bad topic. "Yes, that Quidditch match will be awesome. Ed is going to play Chaser, and you can play Seeker. I'm going to play Beater, and we wanted Sel to be Keeper, but I guess referee is okay, too. We'll just have to find another Keeper." Heh. A candy broom? That was smart. "Aww, a pity that you and.. wait, who is Nikolas?!.. didn't get to try it out. But Sel probably would have eaten it before it flew anyways, so you're good." Alice grinned at the Slytherin, imagining Emma trying to catch Selena as she fell from a half-eaten broom. Heh.

Tiffany leaned her back onto the tree nearby as she was waiting for Jonathan. One thing that she liked about Spring was that she could feel the soft breeze from the wind constantly which made her feel more comfortable and made her not to lose her patience while waiting.

Just as she turned around, she spotted him coming closer to her. "Um,"she looked at the watch and looked back to him."Anyhow it was worth waiting for you,sire. But if you like, you could pay me for a bag full of snacks."Just kidding.She chuckled. How is she? Fine, great. Just busy on packing stuff and sending gifts to all her friends like how Santa Claus did.

And now it was his turn to get presents. Tiffany took out one of the presents inside the bag and handed it to Jonathan. That was a scarf that Tiffany brought him during her vacation. "Hope you'll like it. I went through lots of shops and find it for you,"she replied with a smile on her face, hiding another present behind from him.

Ella grinned when Harvey called her smart. She hoped she was, she studied a lot so maybe...She then laughed as Harvey clearly was over-thinking his comment and worried what she might think. "Harvey, you crack me up! I totally didn't think you meant it that way. Don't worry so much."

She shrugged. "Yup, you missed it...it's okay though. There's always next year." Come to think about it, Ella hadn't done much for her birthday anyway, she was pretty bummed about her mom being gone and hadn't really mentioned it to anyone. "But yours I won't miss! I'll have to start thinking of a gift for you...hmm." And she stroked her chin thoughtfully as she eyed Harvey. "I'll come up with something."

Favorite place in DA? That was a tough question. There were a lot of cool places there. There was one that came to mind right away though. "Florean's. I can't seem to get enough of ice cream so I guess it makes sense." She said with a smile. "And yours?"

Harvey looked at her "You didn't? Well thats good, ok I won't worry about it too much" his face then cracked into a smile "Well in that case I am glad I crack you up so much" he grinned, that was always a good thing in his book, cracking people up. He felt better knowing that she hadn't thought that, but he had to clear it anyways just on the off chance that she had been thinking about it.

He nodded "Yup and I will be sure not to miss it! " he smiled as he made a mental note of her birthdate. He smiled as she said that she wouldn't miss his "You dont have to get me anything, really you dont. Usually I am just hanging out with friends" who ended up surprising him with gifts anyways "So just hanging out is enough for me.. honest!" he smiled, he really didn't
need gifts, he was just happy hanging out with people.

He watched as she thought for a moment before giving him an answer, he laughed "I should have known it would be that! Of course the Sundae Queen's favourite place would be Florean's. As for mine, wherever the Queen goes the King is sure to follow. Florean's too is my favourite place. " he smiled. He didn't know why he had asked that, he should have known that. Ok another question? Yeah? Ok.. mmm.. what next? "If you could go to any place in the world for a holiday, which place would you go to?" he asked. He didn't know why he asked that, but it was better than some rubbish question.

Ella shook her head. Nope, she didn't so he needn't worry. And she returned the grin when Harvey said he was glad he cracked her up. She was glad too. Who didn't like to laugh? ...weird people, that's who!

Ella smiled then shrugged. "Even if you do, it's no big deal. I never really do anything for my birthday. I don't really like to have too much attention." And plus, birthdays could be depressing...especially when certain people didn't even bother to contact you on your special day. But anyways...Grin. Harvey would definitely be getting a gift, even if he insisted she didn't get him one. He didn't get a choice. She wouldn't tell him that though. "Alright, well then we'll just hangout."

Bahahah! Sundae Queen. Ella forgot about that and giggled upon hearing the nickname. "Yeah you really should have known, Harvs." She said with a smile. And then she was pink. Where ever the queen goes the king is sure to follow...WHY did he have to say things like this? It made Ella feel all weird and butterfly-y in her belly. She wasn't sure how to feel about it. Trying not to show how freaked out she was, the second year simply smiled. "Good choice then."

Hmm...that was a really good question. Ella always talked about traveling with her Gramps when he was alive and they had made a list of all the places they would go if they could. Of all the places Ella had listed, Italy was at the top. "Italy. Definitely Italy. And yours? Where would you go, Harvey?"

Harvey just looked at her "You don't? But its a big day, it's when you become 1yr older than the year before. It's supposed to get attention! " well that's what he thought anyways. It was a day that you were allowed to get special extra attention without being questioned as to why the extra attention. He smiled when she agreed with him "[b]Thanks Ella, who needs gifts when you have fantastic people to hang out with.

He chuckled and nodded "Yup I should have." he then saw her go pink "Ella.. going pink again?.. but I didn't say anything like that to make you go pink.. or did I? " he wondered out loud smiling a little. He knew that Ella was not too fond of the pink faces that she came across, maybe it was kind if fun makin her go pink. He smiled "Yup it is! All that ice-cream! It's a really awesome place, that and Sugarplum's" he smiled yup two places that he loved going to, all that sugary goodness.

"Oh wow! Thats a good choice! As for me... Egypt or Greece, I have always loved all that Egyptian stuff, you know pyramids and hieroglyphs. Then there is always the Greek mythology, but I think Egypt comes out a little ahead " he smiled. As he got it down to once choice rather than two together .. question time again... mm "If you werent in Hufflepuff, what other house would you like to be in? " he asked curiously, he knew his. If he wasnt a claw he would like to be a puff, but he didnt know about Ella.
