Ella shrugged. "I don't know. I guess I get what you mean. It just hasn't felt that important the last couple of year, you know?" Though he probably didn't know, as he seemed to quite like birthdays. And he was now smiling so she would momentarily forget about her dislike of her birthday. "You're welcome." She said, returning the smile. And wait? Did that mean he thought she was fantastic then? Hmmm...

Oh Merlin's beard, really Harvey? You really had to meantion the blushing? She bit her lip, looking shyly at him. She wasn't going to answer that question, nope. If he didn't know what he said to make her blush she was certainly not going to repeat it...It's like he liked to make her blush. Luckily he was talking again so she didn't have to answer. Crisis averted! "Oh yeah, Sugarplums was definitely a close second. Gotta have my sweets!" GRIN.

Egypt and Greece, huh? Ella always thought Greece was a beautiful place. She had seen lots of pictures in travel books and magazines in the muggle library near her house. Egypt though..."I'm a little afraid of mummies." She admitted honestly. "Though I do think the Pyramids are really cool!...and I'd love to ride a camel some day." true story.

What a good question. Hmmm..."I guess I'd want to be in Gryffindor. I always wanted to be braver. If I was in that house I'd have to be, yeah?"
And then a question for Harvey, right? Well she already knew what house he would choose so..."What's your favorite song?"

He saw her shrug as he listened to her, not important? But how could that be? Unless it was to do with a family thing that she didn't deem birthdays as important days. He smiled at least there was one person not going to get him presents, now he just needed to persuade the others not to get him gifts either. But he knew it was going to prove harder to persuade his other three best friends.

He noticed that she had avoided his wondering question, though he hadn't expected her to answer it. He was just wondering out loud trying to see of he had said something of that nature, ok so maybe he had.. oops so maybe he shouldn't have said it like that. He just meant that they liked the same place in Diagon, he would have to be more careful what he said in the future even though it was fun making her blush, he would have to do it in a more subtle way. He smiled as she agreed with him he nodded "Yeah I thought you might, need to stock up on your candy every so often. Cause you can't get enough of the candy goodness. " he chuckled.. cause he was sure she didn't bring a whole years supply in one go, she would need to go back every so often to re-stock her supply.

He smiled as she admitted that she was afraid of mummies "Thats ok, not everyone is ok with mummies." he smiled knowing a few people that were not ok with mummies. He smiled a little more "Yeah those are really cool, even the way they were built is amazing. Oh you would? Mm maybe when I am older I will get my best friend to ride a camel. That way she wouldn't be left wondering what it was like to ride one" he chuckled as he imagined her appearing to Egypt after much persuasion by him to go. He wasnt sure if it would be appropriate them going together, unless she was ok with best friends going to Egypt together.

He looked at her in surprise as she answered his question, why did he think that she would pick his house cause of her smartness? "Good choice! Umm yeah I think you would need to be a little brave to be on that house. But I am sure you are brave in your own way. " he smiled. Sometimes being brave didn't mean fighting against baddies yeah? It could also mean being brave enough to stand up to people and believing in whats right... well that's what he thought. Then came a question for him, what was his favourite song? "Umm I don't really have one, but depending on my mood I lean towards various songs that I would really really like in the moment. I mostly listen to Country music, ok tell me yours and maybe in that time I may come up come with a song for you" he said a little hesitantly, cause he never really had a favourite song but maybe her choice may trigger a memory of a song from the past.

The weather was warmer than before, and Ness took this as an opportunity to be outside in the school grounds again. She wasn't fond on being in the common room all the time, but in cold weather she preffered it to anything else. Now that the spring was near, she was happy to get far away from the room and dorms. It was her time to go out and venture Hogwarts and its grounds,like she always did each year.

Of course her pygmy puff wanted to be outside with her too, so she headed off to the pathways, with Puffles in front of her where she could see him. After what had happened last time with that weird cat, Ness wasn't too fond on having him walk ahead of her, but everytime she tried to pick him up he'd get all annoyed began nibbling at her fingers. So she ended up letting him get what he wanted, but she made sure to watch him like a hawk.

Everything seemed to be going fine so far, it was lovely and so what if it was a little chilly. That didn't have to ruin anything. The red head beamed as she watched her little pygmy puff playing around and pausing every now and then. Even her pygmy puff was so good today, nothing would ruin this day. It was just too lovely.

Sire?

So now, people refer to him as sire? First, Louisa also mentioned about him with this and now Tiffany? His eyes gazed onto his clothing, he's not wearing anything fancy right now so why call him sire? Meh, he's not going to over think about this. He just smiled at the young Gryfindor when she mentioned about sweets "Yeah, maybe next time we meet" he added a nod. That means when Hogsmeade opens anytime soon...

Then out of nowhere Tiffany handed him a bag. Jonathan starred at it. Is this a present? His hand slowly moved and took it. His face still looked confused and didn't know how to react to this. She gave him a present? Why? Is Jonathan missing something? Jonathan's eye flickered as they starred blankly into the bag and inside it is a scarf.

"Uhmmm, you shouldn't have...." he looked at Tiffany. Really, she shouldn't have. He can't just accept this. "....... I mean.... Why?"

That was very true. She did need to stalk up every now and then, especially when she ran out of gummy bears! That was like...an epic disaster. So when the second year did go to the sweet shop, she tended to buy A LOT of sweets. "You were very right in thinking that! I've already made a list of sweets to buy when I go there during the summer." Ella said honestly, smiling at the thought of how long her list was. It was LONG!

Ella was relieved that Harvey didn't think she was weird because of her mummy fear. "Yeah, you're right...I'm sure lots of other people are afraid of mummies too!" And Ella should totally find those people and create some kind of anti-mummy club. Mhm. That seemed like a very good idea. "Hey Harvs, what do you call a mummy who loves cookies?" She asked cheerfully, suddenly remembering a joke her Gran used to tell around Halloween. Te-he-he It was quite funneh. "I know! It's kinda hard to believe there were no big trucks or cranes to help lift up all those stones!" She said, eyes wide. Pyramids were like...crazy interesting. And hey! What if the ancient Egyptians had been wizards and that's how they created them!? Merlin's Beard! That would be SO cool! And then Ella was smiling as Harvey suggested he'd help her get to ride a camel someday. "That would be fun! We could go on an adventure!" Adventures were always fun!

Ella smiled. Harvey was so nice all the time but she still couldn't get used to it. It was like...too good to be true or something. "I like to think I'm brave...sometimes. I mean I'm sure I could be if I needed to be? I don't know. I guess maybe I haven't had to be really brave yet." And she shrugged.

So Harvey didn't have a favorite song? Well maybe that was a pretty wise thing since new songs came out all the time. Maybe his favorite was always changing! What an idea. "Country music can be nice...and okay, I'll go. My favorite is Imagine by John Lennon. I love that song."

Today was a great day for a run. It wasn't completely warm, but then it wasn't freezing either. So, the Slytherin Prefect suited up in his running gear and shoes, and headed outside. He started off at the lake and then continued into the grounds. He wanted to make sure he was keeping in shape, also because he was sure his father was going to put him through the same training regime he had last summer. This time he'd be prepared.

He made it into the pathways, his mind somewhere else. He was all of the sudden thinking of his co-Prefect and wondering what she was doing. Ever since the freezing incident they haven't talked much because they've both been busy. What with the Prefect Event and lessons.

Kennedy was so into his thoughts he didn't see the Pygmy puff in front of him, not the girl, but when his eyes locked with them it was a bit too late. So, he did the stupidest thing. He turned sideways, in attempts to avoid colliding with them, and ended up falling into a pile of leaves.

Ouch.

Everything was still perfect..or so it seemed.

It was then when Nessie was thinking all about how perfect her day was that she saw somebody coming right at her and Puffles at a full speed.WHAT in the name of Merlin did this guy think he was doing? Could he like not see or something? Gosh people at Hogwarts these days. This guy wasn't stopping anytime soon, and that worried Ness A LOT! Her reaction of shock started to kick in. She began screaming, no screeching at the top of her lungs.

"AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!"

Even after the boy had turned and fell to the ground, Nessie's screaming continued. She couldn't help herself, she was still in her shock mode. It took her a few moments to realise that her and her little baba were alright and unharmed, then she stopped and calmed down. The red head first walked over to Puffles and picked him up. This time he allowed her to do so, he must have been a little frightened by the whole thing as he was shaking. The Hufflepuff put him to rest on her shoulder and then walked over where the running boy had fell.

Renesmee stood by the boys feet, and before she could even get a word out she began giggling. She found this whole thing funny for some odd reason. She was weird like that. Once finally gaining a straight face she turned to the boy in the pile of leaves before her. "You alright?" she asked trying to show concern. "You seem to have fell pretty bad." He hadn't hurt himself right? That would have just been terrible.

All of the sudden there was this loud screaming causing Kennedy to cover his ears. Was a banshee let loose? He looked up and found that it was no banshee, but the girl he almost collided with. Then...

She was giggling.

Kennedy propped himself on his elbows and waited for her to finish. This wasn't a giggling matter. He could have broken an arm, a knee, a finger, his back, his face and worse, he could have broken his head. Of course, there were other possible injuries too. He replayed what just happened seconds ago and couldn't help to find it a tad amusing how he just flipped over. There goes him trying to be swift.

"I'm fine...I think," he said. Actually, he didn't want to move so much because he was afraid something would hurt. "I didn't mean to scare you there," he said with a hint of an amused grin. Her screaming had been funny.

Ronnie walked down the pathways, her kitten Oliver bounding after her. As she walked, she noticed a nice looking tree to the side of the path, it looked like a good spot to sit. So, she walked up to it and sat with her back against it. She sighed and watched as a few students walked by, chatting with eachother. She took her sketchbook out of her bag she had brought with her and began drawing Oliver, who had curled up by her feet and was already asleep.

Theodore casually walked down the pathways, with his hands in his pockets and slight bounce in each step. It was a regular bounce, of course. He was forever bouncing, ya know.

But today was boring.

And he was getting fat. So he was on a strict 'no chocolate frog' diet for the week. And he was coping well, apart from extreme grouchiness.

Sighing heavily, he saaaaaaw.... Ronnie in the corner of his eye. The mean Gryffindor that threw a snowball at him! Oh yea, he didn't forget these things. But oh well.. He was bored, so he plopped himself by her. "WATCHU DRAWIN'?" He bellowed in her ear.

Cos she looked busy, so he needed to get her attention.

Harvey smiled as she said that he was right in thinking that she needed to stock up on candy. He then looked at her in surprise "Already? but summer is a long way away. You cant wait to get to the sweet shop can you?" he asked though he knew the answer already but it was fun to ask. Well of course she couldn't she was all about the sugar, so she would love any place that sold anything full of sugar to get a sugar high.

He nodded in agreement as she seemed relieved that he didnt think her strange for what she had said, there could be alot of people out there that were scared of mummies Ella didn't necessarily have to be the only one. "I am sure too." he smiled, he smiled as he listened to her ask him a question cheerfully, he assumed this was supposed to be a joke? mm what do you call a mummy that loved cookies? "Mummy cookie? I don't know.. what do you call a mummy that loves cookies?" he asked wanting to know the answer to this joke that she had asked him. He nodded "I know! it was all hard labor in those days all those workers pulling those big stones. " he said as he remembered some of the things that they had learnt on the Egyptians in muggle school and what he had learnt from reading books and things. "We? as in you and me? You would want me to come with you?" he asked.. he didn't know that she had planeed to include him in the plan that he was making.

He nodded in agreement "Yeah I think you would be if you needed to be. Like if a best friend was in trouble and needed for you to fight along side them.. thats when you would be brave" he said as he rememebered the times that he had to be brave even though he may not have been otherwise. He smiled "Wow good choice! thats a very nice one! why didnt I think of that one! umm ok.. well there was this one song.. that I used to listen to all the time whenever a friend was in need of support. The song was True Colors by the Glee cast.. but I guess I never stick to one song. With the huge number of songs already out there it can be hard to choose a particular favourite. " he smiled.. within each genre he may have 2 or 3 favourite ones.. so it was hard for him to choose.

Ella giggled. "Of course I can't wait to go there! Don't you know who I am?" She was candy girl! ...well according to Logan anyway. And she always did her very best to live up to that title. Mhmmm.

Oh righttt, her joke. Ella smiled as Harvey waited for the punchline. "A mummy with a cookie is a....crummy mummy!" Tee-hee. And Ella was giggling again, though she totally realized how ridiculous that joke was. "You get it Harvs?" *Nudge Nudge*. Ella's eyes went a bit wide at the realization of what she'd said. She did say we, didn't she? But that wasn't so weird, was it? Wanting to have an adventure with a friend...best friend. "Um yeah, sure...we. As in you...and me. Friends can go on adventures with other friends, can't they?" They totally could. Yup. *Nod*

Oh yeah, Ella would definitely be brave if a friend needed her. That was the one time she wouldn't doubt herself. "I'd do just about anything for a friend who needed me." She admitted thoughtfully before smiling a bit. That was kind of a cool realization. And then she was smiling because of Harvey's song choice. "I know that song! It's lovely. Really nice choice, Harvey." But wait! He hadn't asked her a question. "What else did you want to ask me?" Huh Huh Huh?

He thought? That wasn't too reasuring. Of course the red head began her pouting once more. It was a bad habit of hers and she tended to do it often whilst thinking about things. Was this handsome boy really okay, or was he just saying it? Meh..he was probably just saying it, Ness herself even did that often. At least he was being polite though, and at least he was apologising. That was really sweet of him, and Ness liked it when people were like that.

The Hufflepuff's pout changed into a small smile. "It's really alright..I erm..over reacted." She trully did, and even thinking about how loudly she had screamed made her blush. It was embarrassing and people must have stared at her really badly. Good thing she didn't notice, cause that would have upset her quite a bit.

Standing up, Ness eyed the boy. She felt bad. What if he really wasn't okay? This was partly her fault. "You sure you're alright?" she asked extending her hand, so she could help the poor boy up, what was he's name anyways? He looked really familiar.

DEAL!

Tiffany smiled hugely at Jonathan as he promised to buy her sweets next time they met. But then she didn't even know when exactly Hogsmeade would open and even so, she didn't know if she could come across him anymore. That's why he was the sire, always being busy, not really having the chance to meet everyone else. "Anyway thanks,"she beamed."Beware that I will spend all of your money."She chuckled,pointing at his wallet.Seriously, she could indeed.

Noticing that Jonathan was hesitated on whether to receive her present or not, she didn't know how to react. And now he was asking for reason? "Well actually I just bought this during my vacation for all of my friends,"she rolled her eyes."And that's for you because you are my elder brother. It's just a present, not a poison. Don't accept this if you are not considering me as...at least your friend."She pouted a bit, eyed on him. Was she a bit weird to say that he was her brother? Maybe he wouldn't accept this at all.She started to get a bit worried about her next gift to him, would he be able to accept it then?

Harvey chuckled and nodded "Of course I do know you I just didn't know that you were that impatient to get to the sweet shop thats all" he chuckled as he said this, she did love candy hadn't she had a pocket full of candy when they had gone to Hogsmeade

He burst out laughing at her joke "Y..yeah I .. I get i..it!!" he said as he continued laughing at her joke. That was a funny joke... cookies, crumbs.. that sort of thing with mummies.. so it was not a wonder that it was crummy mummy as the answer. He then saw her eyes become wide as he had pointed out that she had in face said 'we' he then listened as she agreed with it "Umm.. yeah .. yeah they can.. I just didn't expect you to say that.. thats all. But yeah friends can go on adventures and trips.. I went with a muggle friend and his family once.. so yeah nothing wrong with that" he smiled once his ramble was over. That was going to be fun! an adventure with Ella!

He nodded "Yeah I would do the same.. " he smiled as he remembered pulling out his wand on Edward in the summer of the first year at Hogwarts.. luckily nothing happened but he would do it again if he needed to, afterall Minnie was his best friend by then. He saw her smile and knew they were quite alike him and Ella in many ways. He smiled as she called his song a good choice.. yup it was! "Thank you Ella.. I finally did come up with a song then." he smiled as she asked if he wanted to ask her anything else. "Oh right! erm.. er.. mmm.. Oh! on the subject of cookies.. what sort of cookie is your favourite?" he asked her.. since they were talking about cookies.. he was interested now.

Ella smiled and laughed, looking down. "Okay so maybe I'm a little impatient. Just a little though!" And who wouldn't be when there was sweet delicious candy involved?!

The second year laughed along with Harvey, glad he got her joke. It was a gift really, being so funny. She could totally teach people if she wanted! A funny instructor! Yeah! That would be an awesome job! And then it was back to being awkward... Cause Ella had said something without thinking. But she had meant it. The 'we'...she wouldn't want to go on an adventure all alone! That just wouldn't be fun! And what was more awkward was the fact that Harvey hadn't expected it. "Well you're my...friend so it isn't that shocking...is it?" She asked with a shy smile.

"Yup you did! A very good song. My dad likes that one too." She said with a smile. Though her dad liked most songs! ...not that he sang them very well. He had a horrible voice!

Ohhhhh cookie talk?! Ella liked cookies. Well actually she liked liked them. In fact, she LOVED them. And that was a rumor she didn't mind if Theodore spread if and when he found out about it. "My favorite cookies are oreos! They're just SO delicious! I could eat them all day." Yup. She totally could. "What kind do you like best?"

Ronnie was just finishing a whisker of Oliver's, it was looking great! It was looking beauti-

MERLIN'S BEARD!

Ronnie nearly fell over as someone plopped down beside her and yelled into her ear, messing up her drawing and sending the sketchbook flying. She turned to see who it was...Thedore. She glared at him.

"Well," she began. "I WAS drawing my cat Oliver over here," she said, pointing at the still sleeping kitten. "Until YOU had to come up and mess it all up!" she said angrily, standing up and snatching her sketchbook. She sighed and looked at the drawing. Now one whisker went straight up to the corner of the page.

Harvey laughed along with Ella, sure.. sure.. just a little.. so says Ella Bishop the one that loved sweets alot! He loved that joke.. he made a note to remember it so that he could tell others or he could just go over the joke in his head and laugh about it on his own. That was a very good joke how did he not get that.. crummy mummy.. hilarious! He shook his head at her question "Well when you put it like that.. I guess its not shocking. But I guess I am glad that you thought of taking me on your fun filled adventures!" he chuckled.. he would love to go on an adventure.. and since Ella was inviting him .. he would go with Ella and her awesometastic adventure.

He smiled "He does? Oh thats good.. we have something in common then" he said kind of feeling strange that he and her father liked that same song.. well that was good too. He smiled brightly as she names oreos as her favourite cookie.. he chuckled as she asked him his.. he shook his head still chuckling. "Oh man!! I love those too! Is it me or do we like quite a few of the same things?" he smiled at this thought two friends who had quite a bit in common.. that was always good. Well it was time for another question from him.. mmm "What is your favourite muggle movie that you never get tired of watching over and over again?" he asked her.. as he waited to hear her response.

Ella listened to Harvey laughing and couldn't help but think he had quite a nice laugh...as far as laughs went. And as soon as she had that thought in her mind she immediately felt weird for noticing something like that about her friend. What on earth was going on with her lately? She hoped her confusion wasn't showing on her face. She put a smile on her face and tried not to let on that she was suddenly feeling quite uneasy. And she didn't have to fake smile for too long, especially since Harvey said he was glad that she thought of him. In all honesty, she thought of him a lot...but that was probably just because they were best friends. That was definitely the reason. Yup. "Yeah...I uh...I'm glad I thought of you too." JJJKHJKHLKLHL! What kind of response was that? A LAME one...that's what kind.

The second year nodded, returning the smile. Yup. Harvey and her dad had something in common. Maybe they could meet sometime, since Harvey and Ella were hanging out a lot lately. She was sure her dad would like him.
As for Harvey liking oreos too, Ella looked at him in surprise. "You do? You're kidding me right...this is too weird." Weird that they liked so many of the same things. As for his question, she looked at him thoughtfully, thinking about it. "I guess my favorite muggle film is The Little Mermaid. I love that movie so much. And yours?"

Nate decided it would be a nic time to re-visit the pathways. He was walking down when he stumbled upon the same spot he was at last year. When he first encountered the orb and the ravenclaw. I brought back he memory how a squirrel had it at first, then the ravenclaw got it. He wondered if she ever froze. Then he stood there thinking about last year.

Harvey looked at her as a weird expression came over her face, he wondered what that expression was. Was.. was that confusion? but what would she be confused about? or was she thinking of something else.. or... was it someone else.. Logan? was she thinking about him? did she still like him? he wondered what was going on with them.. he hoped that she wouldnt get hurt again, he didn't want that for Ella. He smiled as he saw her smile he was glad that she was now smiling that was a good thing "You are?. Well I guess thats a good thing for me then" he smiled as he looked at her still smiling with that same expression.. something like confusion but he couldn't be sure.

He saw as she looked at him in surprise "Yeah I do.. and no I am not kidding you! Yeah I agree... it is" he said to her. How was it that two teenagers had this much in common with liking the same things. It was good in a way but quite weird, it was good that way they could enjoy the same things together. He thought as he listened to her answer to his question "Oh ok.. nice choice! Mine? well since I have my cat.. I love The Lion King" he smiled as he remembered the number of times that he had seen that movie. Time for another question yeah?.. mmm.. ah! "If you could have any item in your favourite color.. what would that item be?" he asked smiling,, was it shoes, clothes, bags or anything else in the whole world? it could be anything he thought as he waited for her answer, what would she like in that shamrock green color

If Harvey was watching her, Ella didn't notice. She was too busy trying to understand these new...feelings she was having. Like liking Harvey's laugh. That was definitely new...and puzzling. But then again, so was the whole being a teenager thing. She shook it off as best she could though. They were having fun so no need to mess that up with over thinking everything. And so she nodded when Harvey asked if she was truly glad. Mhm. She was.

O___O He really liked Oreos then? How strange...and kind of funny too. She looked at him curiously for a moment before looking ahead of them as they continued down the path, a shy smile on her face. Why was she smiling, anyway? She wasn't even sure what had caused the most recent one. Curious. And Harvey liked her choice in movie? That earned him a genuine smile. "Why thank you." She thought it was a particularly good choice as well. His choice wasn't too bad either, though! "Ohh! That one always makes me cry. I always feel quite sad when Simba's father dies." It was horrible to watch...the rest of the movie was great though!

Harvey's next question really stumped Ella. Any item in her favorite color...any item at all. What would it be? "I suppose I'd like a...a green...a green elephant!" YEAH! What an inspired choice! It combined two of her absolute favorite things. The color green...and elephants! Woop Woop. And now for a question for Harvs. "What item would you want...you know, in your favorite color?"

Jonathan laughed. The part where she said about spending all of his money. He hasn't done that in all of his years at Hogwarts maybe this time he should? Since it'll be the last time he'll be ever in this place again. Yup, time sure flies so fast that it is sometimes bothering him. He doesn't want to leave this place one bit. Not even the tiniest bit.

He nodded at Tiffany "Well cross those fingers that Hogsmeade will be open again for us" he joked. Is it going to be open again though? Jonathan wouldn't count on it, but hey, who knows. It'd be nice to buy a simple souvenir or drink some awesome butterbeer.

He accepted the gift with hesitance. He and Tiffany talked from time to time but Jonathan is never a big fan of people giving him gifts and he doesn't even know why that is. Some of which, find it offending at times when he doesn't accepts. This time, however, he did accept the gift from her hands. "Thank you" he uttered. Really, she shouldn't have. He didn't get her anything.

Taylor had jeans and a royal blue and bronze blouse on with a pair of worn tennis shoes. She was sitting on one of the ledges with her legs pulled up and her arms around her knees. Tay had her curls in two braids and she was deep in her thoughts.

Maxwell was walking the pathways, killing time before seeing Min, Ariana and Justin...it seemed they were his world lately, he missed his family a little but he loved his friends and his girlfriend.. He saw Taylor and knew they had things they needed to talk about. He walked over to her slowly. "Hey, Taylor...can we talk?" he asked in a soft and respectful tone, he knew she was angry with him and would have understood if she said no.
