Damon looked at her, "Sorry for blabbering..." He kissed her forehead.

Tay smiled at him, "You are amazing, and more than I could ever be. Dont bother argueing since it is the truth."

"You know I don't agree with you though," He sighed looking at her, "It's not fair if I can't argue my point." He said sarcastically.

"You wouldnt let me argue my point so I'm not letting you now." She stuck her tongue out and giggled. Tay smiled at him.

Damon laughed, "Fine, but don't get used to it." He smiled, "Because it's not going to be happening all the time."

"Thinking of spreading lies then?" She giggled and smiled. Tat kissed his cheek.

"They aren't lies, mo ghrá..." He smiled at her kissing her forehead.

"Bull cranky, mi corazon." Tay looked up at him.

"If it's a lie that you're more amazing than I will ever be then I don't want to know the truth." He chuckled looking at her.

Taylor blushed. "You are sweet." She kissed his cheek and smiled.

Theodore whiiiiiizzzed up and down the pathways. He had headphones in, snazzy ones that his father had sent him. And he was listening to SUPERHERO MUSIC. Like, good old symphonic superhero stuff, you know?

But it was awesome.

He held out his fist like superman and pretended to fly all over the place. He could just get a broomstick, if he had his own, which he didn't. But oh well. The real flying would be saved for Quidditch.

He smiled, looking at her, "I get it from you." He chuckled, kissing her forehead again, and lightly squeezing her hand.

Laura was walking along minding her own business when something caught her eye, did this boy think he was a superhero and why was he acting strange, even for a firstie which this boy looked like, he should probably be put in St. Mungo but well it wasn't Laura's place to say anything like that so she didn't

"Hey what you doing?" Laura shouted over to him. "And why are you pretending to be a superhero?" Laura didn't know what sort of reply she would get but she hoped it was a good one.

Tay looked at him, "Sorry I was being cranky but I am annoyed at both Maxwell and Minnie." She grimaced.

UMMM... SHUT UP, HUFFLEPUFF GIRL.

As it so happens, his headphones fell out of his ears as he jumped about too much, so he heard everything she had said.

Rude. Rude Hufflepuff.

"I am a superhero. I can fly." A broomstick. Yea, everyone else at this school could, too. But THEO COULD BETTER. That's all he was gonna say on the matter. The boy folded his arms across his chest and gave the girl a Slytherin stare.

Be afraid, Hufflepuff.

"It seems one of us always is... but what did they do?" He looked at her, hoping she'd share because he and Min had been talking earlier in the commonroom and Minerva made no mention of her and Taylor arguing.

Tay sighed, "They think I am still in love with Maxwell." She rolled her eyes.

Laura looked at the Slytherin. "I think we might need to go and see a Professor, you've obviously hit your head on something, that is making you act weird." Laura sighed walking towards the boy. "I'm Laura Hope Hyde, but you can call me Laura." She smiled. "What's your name?" And if the boy said Superman she'd hit him across the head and not care about what a Professor said.

He looked at her, "That has to be the craziest thing I've ever heard..." Damon shook his head.

"I know right?" She sighed, "But they insist that I am in love with that... rat just because I cant stand him right now... and because I had a headache so I refused to listen to him go on and on about how wonderful Minerva is and how he is so in love with her." Taylor rolled her eyes, "I just find it annoying and I dont want to hear that crap especially when I have a headache." Tay grimaced.

Cornelius entered the Pathways around noon, happy to be out on the grounds once more, even though it was plenty cold with all of the snow still firmly coating the ground beneath his feet. But he was dressed well for it, not yet in uniform so soon after the break, and walked out into the snow with his trusty leather jacket snugly zipped over his chest. But he wasn't really focused on the weather anyway, his mind on much more confusing things, all of which revolved around Aspen Odessa.

The break had been good for him. Necessary. He'd had time to think and sort things out...to an extent. He still had too many questions. And beyond anything else, he had no idea where his relationship with Aspen currently was at. Or if it existed at all. Or if it had ever existed in the first place. Again, a lot of questions. He hadn't written her at all over the break. He thought about it, he wanted to a number of times because, quite frankly, he missed her quite a bit. She had solidified a place for herself as a crucial part of Cornelius's life and that part, left unfilled, successfully made the past few weeks of his life oddly empty. But he didn't write her.

However, he had a gift for her, for the holidays. He had gotten it long before...everything. But it was hers and he couldn't find another way to deliver it since they had last spoken, weeks ago in the Great Hall. And so he waited for her, not even sure if she was able to come meet him at all, and leaned back against a fence of one of the pathways, one hand in the pocket of his leather jacket and the other holding a relatively small package addressed to Aspen.

He flinched at the word, "As I recall... That's what your grandfather called Lori and I..." He looked at her, "And big whoop... They care so much try talking to one of them about how wonderful I am, because you'll get the same reaction from them... That annoyed don't want to hear about it thing." He sighed, looking down, "Any way I can help?"

Tay grimaced, "Sorry, he is one though... despite being pureblood, he is still a rat." She frowned. "I know right? My point exactly!" Taylor sighed and shook her head, "No... sorry for the rant." Tay frowned and laid her head on his shoulder.

"I don't mind, you deserve to rant after that." He laid his head on top of hers, "I can't believe them... I talked to both of them before finding you and they didn't say anything."

Tay sighed, "Well Minerva snapped at me for being mad at Maxwell She said that maybe he was jealous because he had a reason to not trust before her." She looked away and rubbed her arms.
