Ariana looked up at the sound of a voice and saw ronnie.. with a kitten , she looked back into her notebook and snapped "Can i help you Ronnie?"

Ronnie frowned. What did she ever do? She was just saying hi, being friendly. Did that bug her? Maybe it did... [B "I just thought I'd say hi."[/B] Ronnie said simply. Oliver squirmed in her arms, wanting to be on the ground. Ronnie let him free and watched as he bounded around in the snow. She turned her attention back to Ariana.

He noticed around, many people had walked in here, in the same direction as him and they're fine. This little girl just made him became bad tempered. But Gary still could handle his emotion, at least he didn't want to harm her. That's a big no for him. But seriously, this girl made him remembered about his girlfriend again. But at least, Zhenya was more sweet and less stubborn than her.

CRAAAAAAAAAP!

"Yes?" asked him suddenly. "So why did you want to know if I am a Slytherin or not, huh?" he spoke in very cold voice. If she didn't want to stalk him, so why she wanted to know if he was a Slytherin or not. Gary couldn't guess from which house she was, he didn't notice any symbol of Hogwarts house in her apparel. But he could guess that she's not a Slytherin. "That's fine if you want to stalk me." the blonde guy just smirked. Because he knew that he was good-looking and charming. "But I already have a girlfriend."

"I wanted to know if you're a Slytherin..." Erin shot a look at him first before continuing only focusing on his eyes, "...because only a Slytherin would be this NICE." Okay, that was the opposite meaning. And finally, Erin gave a high one eyebrow look onto him starting from his foot up to his head. Not that she was generalizing all of the Snakes, she had quite a few friends from them namely Kimalia, Zhenya, Raven and that boy she was stalking. The real one.

This guy was so full of himself to actually assume that Erin was stalking her. Apparently he was also thinking that Erin was building any kind of interest towards him. Did he just said that in front of Erin's face? That he already has a girlfriend? So, he thinks Erin likes him? "I do not need to know whether you have one or none. I don't like you and I would never like you..." yelled Erin and looked at him, "...RUDE...blonde guy."

Ariana sighed "i know you hate me, dont try to play it cool, i can see right through you." she said dimply rolling her eyes

Zhenya wanted to get some fresh air, so she wandered out to the Pathways. She didn't want to stay at the pathways but she didn't know where she wanted to go yet. She was minding her own business, day dreaming and everything, when she heard two people argue. She was about to yell at them to shut up when she noticed the voices sounded familiar. Was that... her boyfriend?

She looked and saw that it was. With a girl. She squinted and saw that she knew the girl too. Rolling her eyes she walked up to them both and said "Err... what's going on here?"

Ronnie shook her head. "I swear, I don't. Really." she said truthfully. "I can't just hate you before I even get to know you, that's not right." she said. That was not Ronnie, she didn't do that. She didn't judge others. She got to know them them first before judging them.

She needed to calm down. Yes. That was what she needed but the coldness of the guy was convincing Erin to hex him. OH. That was right. And then, she would end up in detention serving the punishment she didn't deserved. She was in the pathways, exercising her right for freedom. This IS a free country anyways. And then, this guy would come blaming her for making a noise that only HE could hear?

Still on the edge of her anger, Erin almost didn't mind the nosy girl that was clearly distracting her from target. She was on the full verge of hexing the rude guy with her wand pointed towards him. "Playing?" teased Erin towards the talking witch behind her.

He was totally fed up!

ARGH! What's wrong with him so he could meet this strange, little, weird and annoying GIRL!

Gary watched this girl took her wand and pointed to him. "Oh, okay. Are you brave to hex me? TRY it!" he snapped. "If you dare, of course. So you dare to against the school rules, lose points or perhaps throw yourself in detention hall?" he smirked. Now he seemed like he lost his patience. The blonde guy also took his wand from his pocket. "If you want, we will duel. One by one. Deal?" challenged him. He didn't know what year was her, but she didn't look like a fifth year.

While his emotions almost burned hiim up, sudddenly he heard someone's voice. It sounded so familiar, oh of course because it belong to someone who was stuck in his mind lately. "Oh, Hi Zhenya." his cold face suddenly turned into smile. It's not an acting, guys. Then he walked toward and kissed her cheek. "Be nice to my girlfriend." said Gary to the strange girl.

"EEP!" Zhenya squealed. There was someone trying to hex her Gary? And... and why was Gary being so rude to her? She stood there, slightly frozen in shock, hands over her mouth, trying to figure out what to do. They were playing? Nuhh it didn't look like playing. It looked more like... duelling. She wanted to take a few steps back so that she didn't get caught up in any spells, but she didn't want to give them the all clear to start fighting either.

She was still slightly frozen when he walked towards her and kissed her. OH NO! Now her heart was racing in her chest. He moved next to her, if the other girl tried to shoot a spell at him then it could hit Zhenya. Oh dear....

"STOPIT!" she said loudly. "You can't fight. You will... well... you'll get in trouble," she said quietly. She wanted to say someone would get hurt, but with Gary's huge build, and this girl's very fierce look she really didn't know WHO would get hurt.

Was this some kind of a joke? Erin's wand was pointed directly towards the older Slytherin, she could easily hex him full on the chest or wherever she wanted to. But, it didn't made any sense. Wasn't Erin that convincing enough? She could do what she was saying. She was a third year now. She watched the older boy go from his spot towards her back onto the talking girl behind her.

Erin turned her back and saw the older boy kissing Zhenya on the cheek. And it wasn't just like any other kisses. That was a kiss from someone, somebody in a relationship. It was deep and full and mesmerizing. Erin wasn't sure how to react or what to say. Never intending to, her jaw dropped and let out a hardly audible, "...Zhenya?"

Erin's wand still pointed towards the guy - in fact the both of them - while both of them had their wands down. How would she understand what's happening? She looked at Zhenya's eyes wanting her to explain everything. What are you doing with him Zhenya? Why are you holding onto him like he was your boyfriend?

"So you dont hate me or are mad at me for quote "stealing your boyfriend" because you seemed really upset about it the other day." she said in a harsh tone using airquotes are some of her words.

Ronnie frowned. "It's not your fault. I really don't hate you and I am not mad at you at all. I'm more mad at Justin, really." she said. Whenever she was mad at people, she could sure tell it right to their face. She'd go tell Justin right now if she ran into him. "He just left me. I mean, I'm supposed to be upset. What if he just left you without telling you for some other girl? Wouldn't you be mad?!" she asked. If she wouldn't be mad, she better have a really good reason why not to be.

Ariana looked up at her "No, i wouldnt... His Lose, Not mine." she said as she thought how she really wouldnt care she just wanted him to be happy, and if she didnt make him happy then he SHOULD leave. "So your really not mad at me.. what if i told you i came onto him. Then would you be mad at me?" cause she totally did.. although he might of kissed her first she was pratically throwing herself at him hours before that

Five months. That was survivable, wasn't it? Just five more months of annoying Professors and classwork and homework and stone walls and locked gates and rules and...

No, it wasn't survivable. Ellie was sure of it. These five months will drive her mad. For real this time.

However little, it helped to be outdoors. The seventh year felt slightly less trapped when the surrounding walls were far enough away that they didn't seem so tall. And she loved the winter air. That made her feel better, as well.

So, in an as-close-to-a-good-mood-as-she'll-get-while-at-Hogwarts, Ellie decided to approach a fellow seventh year that she hadn't spoken to in....quite some time, unfortunately. "Eve! Hi." Hi.

As his girlfriend shouted to stop, Gary lowered his wand. Good to know that she was here. His bad tempered and emotions had burned his up. If he had lost his patience he could anything harmful. That's his weakness. His hand wrapped hers firmly as it said Please stay here, I need you to make myself calm. Gary knew that if she was stay here beside him, she could make him more cool and calm. Otherwise he could do something so harmful to this girl. Well, he was not an emotional guy actually. But he really need to control it.

"Put your wand down! I won't forgive you if you try to harm my girl!" said him bold. Yes, of course. If she hurt her, Gary didn't need to think more to harm this girl. WAIT! Did she just mention her name? Did she know his girlfriend? Huh? "Wait.. do you know her?" asked him wondered. The blonde guy asked Zhenya too. "Tell me if you know this girl." If this girl, who tried to hex him was her friend too..

NO. ZHENYA PLEASE TELL HIM THAT YOU DIDN'T KNOW HER!

Alec tucked his hands deep into the pockets of his coat as he walked down the grounds and along the Pathways. He really hated this weather! He couldn't have any ice cream! How unfair was this? The one thing he needed to make himself feel just that little bit better was something he couldn't have because of the weather.

The Hufflepuff shook his head and tightened the scarf around his neck as he continued to walk along the path. Maybe he should have brought some hot chocolate along with him as well. Yeah... that would have been nice. He made a mental note to drop by the kitchens later and ask for some hot chocolate.

Wait, that wasn't cruel was it? Asking the house elves to make more food for you? Alec stopped in his path and looked at the nearest tree. It shouldn't be cruel, right? Because... they were house elves. And they did like making food whenever he went in there. They always greeted him with smiles and a question about ice cream and sweets. ... Hm...

Skip. Hop. Breeeathe. Pause. Shiver. Wiggle.

Brooke had been repeating these six actions all the way down from the Slytherin common room, she'd been keeping herself inside since they'd gotten back from the Christmas holidays because mummy had told her to make sure she kept warm and didn't get ill. Hoggiewarts wasn't like normal school when it came to being ill, when it came to being ill you couldn't stay home and watch cartoons like she used too.

Mummy couldn't give you juice and special soup that made your tummy better like normal, but Brooke didn't mind much. She liked it at Hoggiewarts so little flaws like this could be forgiven.

But today was different, today she'd decided she was way too bored to stay cooped up inside so outside she was, outside with her tiarra on her head thanks to Princess Trixie, and her scarf round her neck. She'd left her glovesies inside but it was too late to go back and get them now but her fingers were oh-so cold, just like the rest of her. She felt like an ice cube. It was then she spotted someone, someone who she hoped was a certain someone. But nonetheless she ran a little bit to the boy infront of her, it WAS who she'd hoped it had been, it was ALEC. Brooke giggled a little bit, her cheeks going red although she was unsure whether it was because she was around Alec or because she was super cold. "HI! I missed you." she giggled, her teeth chattering as she spoke.

Zhenya's eyes darted between Erin and Gary. What.should.she.do? EEP! "Err... Err... Err..." she said nervously, wanting so much to run away. Why did she feel... scared?

She rubbed at her eyes before saying "I... Hi Erin..." when she recognised her. Of course it was her! And... Gary was raising his wand at her too? Oh dear. "Gary... it's okay," she said, squeezing his hand. She put her other hand on his chest, over his heart and felt the dum dum dum. How could she approach this? "Gary she won't hurt me. It's okay. She... I know her. We're in the same year."

She looked back at Erin with a panicked expression, frantically trying to convince her to lower her wand. Although physically, she had more to worry about, so Zhenya didn't blame her for keeping her wand extended. Not that Gary would ever try and hurt a female. But... still. If it was her defence, then... so be it. "I don't understand what's happening. Someone tell me what happened, please," she asked looking between them.

Hi Erin? That was all she could answer?

And it looked like she's got some power over him. It was like, there was really something. Something so fishy. Something that was not good to Erin's nose. Were these two together? As much as Erin didn't like any teen relationships in Hogwarts, she couldn't just condone their feelings to each other. Crushes were acceptable but relationships? Really?

Even so herself, couldn't say out loud that she'd got a crush on someone, even hating his own girlfriend/ex-girlfriend.

And then, Erin heard Zhenya wanting someone to explain what was happening. She wanted to get the opportunity to speak first, or else the guy - Zhenya called Gary - would ruin everything. It may just stain Erin and Zhenya's friendship. "He insulted me!" Yes. That was what he did. You don't just go around telling people they don't have good voice. That was hurtful.

Evelyn was enjoying her walk, no doubt..but it was just too cold. Maybe she should just head back inside. The common room was way too noisy and crowded but sitting in front of the fireplace sounded like a really good idea at present. Pulling her jacket tightly around her, she was about to turn around and head back to the castle when she heard someone call her name..

She turned around and.. "Ellie!" Evelyn smiled. It had been a while since she'd seen her friend..not that she'd been looking forward to bumping into her..what with her crushing on the Ravenclaw's boyfriend and all. But, still. It was nice to see her again. "How are you?"

So, both of them knew each other?

Gary still tried to managed himself cool and calm as usual and controlled his emotions. He put his wand to his pocket and took a very deep breath. He wasn't a temperamental person unless if he lost his patience. So, what's wrong with him today? He was not in good mood and when he did something that maybe could refresh his mind, suddenly this girl disturbed him by her annoying voice.

His girlfriend asked them to explain what's happening here. Nothing serious happened actually. When the blonde guy heard the girl-who was called Erin-said that he insulted her, Gary just exhaled. Maybe he sounded insulting her but he didn't mean to do that. "Well, I think it's just a misunderstanding here." said him flat. Okay? Case closed!

The happenings before Zhenya wasn't a misunderstanding. It was CLEAR that Erin was doing what was normal and suddenly someone came up onto her, ranting. Yes. That was the word. Or probably teasing. But that was not the point. She needed to win. She needed to convinced Zhenya to side with her. They were friends after all, before HE came.

"Are you admitting your fault now?" asked Erin lowering her wand at the least. Since the guy - she meant Gary - lowered his already and safely keeping it in his pocket.

Looking at Zhenya once again, "Will you explain to me how'd you knew this RUDE guy?" She wanted answers and she paused; ready to listen hard. She was more likely preparing herself for the worst. Like. The guy hexing Erin while she was listening to Zhenya's explanations.

Zhenya felt her face go either red or white. She felt like she was being judged by BOTH people. Really, why did she have to walk around outside today? Why couldn't she have just stayed inside? She just wanted to turn around and head back upstairs, but she knew she had to stand her ground and make sure nobody got hurt. Not today.

She listened as Erin said he insulted her. Well... she could see that happening. Gary was quite an.. Iron faced man sometimes. And then Gary said it was a misunderstanding? She nodded along with that. He wasn't denying it. But was he admitting fault? Perhaps she had done something to start it off. Maybe not enough that deserved an insult, but enough for Gary to be... annoyed? angry? Who knows. Zhenya let out a small sigh of relief as Erin dropped her wand. She gave a small smile to both of them.

And then... oh dear. She felt like Erin was interrogating her. WHAT DID SHE DO? She only went outside and stumbled across a dangerous scene. Why was she now being questioned? She looked up at Gary and then at Erin again, with a confused frown on her face. What did it matter how she knew? Why did she have to explain? Why? Her mother was at home, and she was the only one Zhenya needed to answer to... but... she liked Erin and didn't want to be rude, so she explained. "Gary is my boyfriend," she said confidently. Whether or not Gary was rude to people wasn't Zhenya's problem, unless it was in front of her. What he did when she wasn't around wasn't an immediate concern to her. She wasn't going to tell Gary what to do, or how to act. But, now she was starting to feel guilty that Gary was rude to Erin. But why did she feel guilty? And why was Zhenya so confused?

Did Lewis REALLY just take him literally? .... Yes! He did! Paulie knew so because the Hufflepuff seriously just looked at the ground. He tried to stifle a laugh. Oh, THIS FELLA.

There. See? There was your answer. Paulie nodded, now satisfied because he assumed that Lewis' response was an acceptance of his being right in spite of whether this was true or not. But then, the prefect said something else.. some words that, Paulie thought, people shouldn't just go throwing around. When he looked at Lewis, though, he didn't see a guy who was just throwing 'LOVE' around like it was nothing. It looked like he meant it..

A small, serene smile found its way onto Paulie's face, and the next words that came out of his mouth rolled off his tongue rather instinctively.

"Then, don't let her go."
